• 1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

• 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
• 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
• 11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
• 12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
• 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
• 14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

• 11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
• 12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
• 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be to him that sits on the throne, and to the Lamb for ever and ever.
• 14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that lives for ever and ever.

• 1 Then I saw in the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne a scroll written on the front and back and sealed with seven seals.

• 3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look into it.
• 4 So I began weeping bitterly because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.
• 5 Then one of the elders said to me, "Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has conquered; thus he can open the scroll and its seven seals."
• 6 Then I saw standing in the middle of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb that appeared to have been killed. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
• 7 Then he came and took the scroll from the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne,
• 8 and when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders threw themselves to the ground before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense (which are the prayers of the saints).
• 9 They were singing a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were killed, and at the cost of your own blood you have purchased for God persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
• 10 You have appointed them as a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."
• 11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels in a circle around the throne, as well as the living creatures and the elders. Their number was ten thousand times ten thousand— thousands times thousands—
• 12 all of whom were singing in a loud voice: "Worthy is the lamb who was killed to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and praise!"
• 13 Then I heard every creature— in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and all that is in them— singing: "To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be praise, honor, glory, and ruling power forever and ever!"
• 14 And the four living creatures were saying "Amen," and the elders threw themselves to the ground and worshiped.

• 1 A small tree will begin to grow from the stump of Jesse. That branch will grow from Jesse's roots.

• 6 Then I saw a Lamb standing in the center near the throne with the four living beings around it. The elders were also around the Lamb. The Lamb looked as if it had been killed. It had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God that were sent into all the world.
• 7 The Lamb came and took the scroll from the right hand of the one sitting on the throne.
• 8 After the Lamb took the scroll, the four living beings and the 24 elders bowed down before the Lamb. Each one of them had a harp. Also, they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's holy people.
• 9 And they all sang a new song to the Lamb: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were killed, and with your blood sacrifice you bought people for God from every tribe, language, race of people, and nation.
• 10 You made them to be a kingdom and to be priests for our God. And they will rule on the earth."
• 11 Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels. The angels were around the throne, the four living beings, and the elders. There were thousands and thousands of angels—10,000 times 10,000.
• 12 The angels said in a loud voice, "All power, wealth, wisdom and strength belong to the Lamb who was killed. He is worthy to receive honor, glory, and praise!"
• 13 Then I heard every created being that is in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, everything in all these places, saying, "All praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever to the one who sits on the throne and to the Lamb!"
• 14 The four living beings said, "Amen!" And the elders bowed down and worshiped.

• 3 No one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the book or to look in it.
• 4 Then I began to cry with loud cries. I cried because no one was good enough to open the book or to look in it.
• 5 One of the leaders said to me, "Stop crying. See! The Lion from the family group of Judah has power and has won. He can open the book and break its seven locks. He is of the family of David."
• 6 I saw a Lamb standing in front of the twenty-four leaders. He was before the throne and in front of the four living beings. He looked as if He had been killed. He had seven horns and seven eyes. These are the seven Spirits of God. They have been sent out into all the world.
• 7 The Lamb came and took the book from the right hand of the One Who sat on the throne.
• 8 When the Lamb had taken the book, the four living beings and the twenty-four leaders got down before Him. Each one had a harp. They all had pots made of gold, full of special perfume, which are the prayers of the people who belong to God.
• 9 They sang a new song, saying, "It is right for You to take the book and break its locks. It is because You were killed. Your blood has bought men for God from every family and from every language and from every kind of people and from every nation.
• 10 You have made them to be a holy nation of religious leaders to work for our God. They will be the leaders on the earth."
• 11 I looked again. I heard the voices of many thousands of angels. They stood around the throne and around the four living beings and the leaders.
• 12 They said with a loud voice, "The Lamb Who was killed has the right to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and shining-greatness and thanks."
• 13 Then I heard every living thing in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and in the sea and all that are in them. They were saying, "Thanks and honor and shining-greatness and all power are to the One Who sits on the throne and to the Lamb forever."
• 14 The four living beings kept saying, "Let it be so!" And the twenty-four leaders fell down and worshiped.

• 13 Then I heard all creatures in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea saying: "To the One who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever."
• 14 The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders bowed down and worshiped.

• 10 and made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign over the earth.
• 11 And I saw, and I heard a sound of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders, and their number was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands,
• 12 saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb having been slain to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.
• 13 And every creature which is in Heaven, and in the earth, and underneath the earth, and the things that are on the sea, and the things in all of them, I heard saying: To Him sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing and the honor and the glory and the might forever and ever.
• 14 And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the twenty four elders fell down and worshiped the One living forever and ever.

• 8 When He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
• 9 And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals; because You were slaughtered, and You redeemed people for God by Your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation.
• 10 You made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth.
• 11 Then I looked, and heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and also of the living creatures, and of the elders. Their number was countless thousands, plus thousands of thousands.
• 12 They said with a loud voice: The Lamb who was slaughtered is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!
• 13 I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say: Blessing and honor and glory and dominion to the One seated on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!
• 14 The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped.
