રીતે
વેશપલટો
કરીને
તું
શીલોહ
જા.
અહિયા
પ્રબોધક
ત્યાં
રહે
છે,
જેણે
કહ્યું
હતું
કે,
હું
આ
લોકોનો
રાજા
થવાનો
છું.

તારી
સાથે
દસ
રોટલી,
થોડી
ફળોના
ટૂકડાવાળી
રોટલી
અને
એક
કુપ્પી
મધ
લઈને
તેની
પાસે
જા.
આ
બાળકનું
શું
થવાનું
છે
તે
તને
કહેશે.”

યરોબઆમની
પત્નીએ
તે
પ્રમાંણે
કર્યુ.
તે
તરત
જ
નીકળી
અને
શીલોહ
ગઈ,
અહિયાને
ઘેેર
પહોંચી,
હવે
વાત
એમ
હતી
કે
અહિયાને
દેખાતું
નહોતું.
ઘડપણને
લીધે
તેની
આંખને
ઝાંખ
આવી
હતી,

પરંતુ
યહોવાએ
તેને
કહ્યું
હતું
કે,
“યરોબઆમની
પત્ની
પોતાના
માંદા
બાળક
વિષે
તને
સવાલ
કરવા
આવી
રહી
છે;
તેણી
આવશે
ત્યારે
કોઈક
બીજુંજ
હોવાનો
ઢોંગ
કરશે.
તેણીને
આ
કહેજે.”

આથી
અહિયાએ
જયારે
બારણાં
આગળ
તેનાં
પગલાંનો
અવાજ
સાંભળ્યો
ત્યારે
તેણે
કહ્યું,
“આવ,
અંદર
આવ,
યરોબઆમની
પત્ની,
તું
બીજી
સ્રી
હોવાનો
ઢોંગ
શા
માંટે
કરે
છે?
માંરે
તને
માંઠા
સમાંચાર
આપવાના
છે.

જા,
યરોબઆમને
જણાવ
કે,
ઇસ્રાએલના
દેવ
યહોવા
એમ
કહે
છે
કે,
‘મેં
તને
એક
સામાંન્ય
માંણસમાંથી
ઇસ્રાએલનો
રાજા
બનાવ્યો.

મેં
દાઉદના
હાથમાંથી
રાજય
છીનવી
લઈને
તને
આપ્યું.
પણ
તું
માંરા
સેવક
દાઉદ
જેવો
ન
નીકળ્યો.
તે
તો
માંરી
આજ્ઞાઓ
પાળતો
હતો.
અને
પૂરા
મનથી
માંરા
માંગેર્
ચાલતો
હતો
તથા
માંરી
નજરમાં
જે
સાચું
હોય
તે
જ
કરતો
હતો.

તેઁ
તારા
બધા
પૂર્વજો
કરતાં
વધારે
ખરાબ
કામો
કર્યા
છે,
તેં
બીજા
દેવોની
મૂર્તિઓ
બનાવી
છે,
અને
સોનાના
વાછરડા
બનાવીને
માંરો
રોષ
વહોરી
લીધો
છે;
તેં
તો
માંરી
અવગણના
કરી
છે.

તેથી
હું
તારા
વંશ
પર
આફત
ઉતારીશ.
તારા
કુટુંબમાં
દરેક
પુરુષને
માંરી
નાખીશ,
ઇસ્રાએલમાં
તારા
વંશનો

નહિ
જેમ
છાણ
રાખ

ત્યાં

તેવી
