spirit

declare

bloody
crimes,

legal

rulings

her
prophets
read
omens

pay.
Yet
they
claim
to
trust
the
LORD
and
say,
"The
LORD

prophets

telling
lies
to
the
Lord's
people.

says

"These
prophets

stomachs.

promise
peace

those
who

them
food,

promise
war
to
those

not
give
them
food.

"This
is
why
it
is
like
night
for
you,
and

don't
have
visions.

cannot
see
what
will
happen
in
the
future,

darkness

The

murdering

judges

Jerusalem
accept
bribes

help
them
decide
who
wins
in
court.
The
priests
in
Jerusalem
must
be
paid
before
they
will
teach
the
people.
People
must
pay

prophets
before
they
will
look
into

future.

those
leaders
expect
the
Lord
to
help
them.
They
say,
"The
Lord
lives
here
