1
Wherefore
seeing
we
also
are
compassed
about
with
so
great
a
cloud
of
witnesses,
let
us
lay
aside
every
weight,
and
the
sin
which
doth
so
easily
beset
us,
and
let
us
run
with
patience
the
race
that
is
set
before
us,
2
Looking
unto
Jesus
the
author
and
finisher
of
our
faith;
who
for
the
joy
that
was
set
before
him
endured
the
cross,
despising
the
shame,
and
is
set
down
at
the
right
hand
of
the
throne
of
God.
3
For
consider
him
that
endured
such
contradiction
of
sinners
against
himself,
lest
ye
be
wearied
and
faint
in
your
minds.
4
Ye
have
not
yet
resisted
unto
blood,
striving
against
sin.
5
And
ye
have
forgotten
the
exhortation
which
speaketh
unto
you
as
unto
children,
My
son,
despise
not
thou
the
chastening
of
the
Lord,
nor
faint
when
thou
art
rebuked
of
him:
6
For
whom
the
Lord
loveth
he
chasteneth,
and
scourgeth
every
son
whom
he
receiveth.
7
If
ye
endure
chastening,
God
dealeth
with
you
as
with
sons;
for
what
son
is
he
whom
the
father
chasteneth
not?
8
But
if
ye
be
without
chastisement,
whereof
all
are
partakers,
then
are
ye
bastards,
and
not
sons.
9
Furthermore
we
have
had
fathers
of
our
flesh
which
corrected
us,
and
we
gave
them
reverence:
shall
we
not
much
rather
be
in
subjection
unto
the
Father
of
spirits,
and
live?
10
For
they
verily
for
a
few
days
chastened
us
after
their
own
pleasure;
but
he
for
our
profit,
that
we
might
be
partakers
of
his
holiness.
11
Now
no
chastening
for
the
present
seemeth
to
be
joyous,
but
grievous:
nevertheless
afterward
it
yieldeth
the
peaceable
fruit
of
righteousness
unto
them
which
are
exercised
thereby.
12
Wherefore
lift
up
the
hands
which
hang
down,
and
the
feeble
knees;
13
And
make
straight
paths
for
your
feet,
lest
that
which
is
lame
be
turned
out
of
the
way;
but
let
it
rather
be
healed.
14
Follow
peace
with
all
men,
and
holiness,
without
which
no
man
shall
see
the
Lord:
15
Looking
diligently
lest
any
man
fail
of
the
grace
of
God;
lest
any
root
of
bitterness
springing
up
trouble
you,
and
thereby
many
be
defiled;
16
Lest
there
be
any
fornicator,
or
profane
person,
as
Esau,
who
for
one
morsel
of
meat
sold
his
birthright.
17
For
ye
know
how
that
afterward,
when
he
would
have
inherited
the
blessing,
he
was
rejected:
for
he
found
no
place
of
repentance,
though
he
sought
it
carefully
with
tears.
18
For
ye
are
not
come
unto
the
mount
that
might
be
touched,
and
that
burned
with
fire,
nor
unto
blackness,
and
darkness,
and
tempest,
19
And
the
sound
of
a
trumpet,
and
the
voice
of
words;
which
voice
they
that
heard
intreated
that
the
word
should
not
be
spoken
to
them
any
more:
20
(For
they
could
not
endure
that
which
was
commanded,
And
if
so
much
as
a
beast
touch
the
mountain,
it
shall
be
stoned,
or
thrust
through
with
a
dart:
21
And
so
terrible
was
the
sight,
that
Moses
said,
I
exceedingly
fear
and
quake:)
22
But
ye
are
come
unto
mount
Sion,
and
unto
the
city
of
the
living
God,
the
heavenly
Jerusalem,
and
to
an
innumerable
company
of
angels,
23
To
the
general
assembly
and
church
of
the
firstborn,
which
are
written
in
heaven,
and
to
God
the
Judge
of
all,
and
to
the
spirits
of
just
men
made
perfect,
24
And
to
Jesus
the
mediator
of
the
new
covenant,
and
to
the
blood
of
sprinkling,
that
speaketh
better
things
than
that
of
Abel.
25
See
that
ye
refuse
not
him
that
speaketh.
For
if
they
escaped
not
who
refused
him
that
spake
on
earth,
much
more
shall
not
we
escape,
if
we
turn
away
from
him
that
speaketh
from
heaven:
26
Whose
voice
then
shook
the
earth:
but
now
he
hath
promised,
saying,
Yet
once
more
I
shake
not
the
earth
only,
but
also
heaven.
27
And
this
word,
Yet
once
more,
signifieth
the
removing
of
those
things
that
are
shaken,
as
of
things
that
are
made,
that
those
things
which
cannot
be
shaken
may
remain.
28
Wherefore
we
receiving
a
kingdom
which
cannot
be
moved,
let
us
have
grace,
whereby
we
may
serve
God
acceptably
with
reverence
and
godly
fear:
29
For
our
God
is
a
consuming
fire.

Therefore,
we
also
having
so
great

cloud
of
witnesses
set
around
us,
every
weight
having
put
off,
and
the
closely
besetting
sin,
through
endurance
may
we
run
the
contest
that
is
set
before
us,
2
looking
to
the
author
and
perfecter
of
faith
--
Jesus,
who,
over-against
the
joy
set
before
him
--
did
endure
a
cross,
shame
having
despised,
on
the
right
hand
also
of
the
throne
of
God
did
sit
down;
3
for
consider
again
him
who
endured
such
gainsaying
from
the
sinners
to
himself,
that
ye
may
not
be
wearied
in
your
souls
--
being
faint.
4
Not
yet
unto
blood
did
ye
resist
--
with
the
sin
striving;
5
and
ye
have
forgotten
the
exhortation
that
doth
speak
fully
with
you
as
with
sons,
`My
son,
be
not
despising
chastening
of
the
Lord,
nor
be
faint,
being
reproved
by
Him,
6
for
whom
the
Lord
doth
love
He
doth
chasten,
and
He
scourgeth
every
son
whom
He
receiveth;`
7
if
chastening
ye
endure,
as
to
sons
God
beareth
Himself
to
you,
for
who
is
a
son
whom
a
father
doth
not
chasten?
8
and
if
ye
are
apart
from
chastening,
of
which
all
have
become
partakers,
then
bastards
are
ye,
and
not
sons.
9
Then,
indeed,
fathers
of
our
flesh
we
have
had,
chastising
us
,
and
we
were
reverencing
them
;
shall
we
not
much
rather
be
subject
to
the
Father
of
the
spirits,
and
live?
10
for
they,
indeed,
for
a
few
days,
according
to
what
seemed
good
to
them,
were
chastening,
but
He
for
profit,
to
be
partakers
of
His
separation;
11
and
all
chastening
for
the
present,
indeed,
doth
not
seem
to
be
of
joy,
but
of
sorrow,
yet
afterward
the
peaceable
fruit
of
righteousness
to
those
exercised
through
it
--
it
doth
yield.
12
Wherefore,
the
hanging-down
hands
and
the
loosened
knees
set
ye
up;
13
and
straight
paths
make
for
your
feet,
that
that
which
is
lame
may
not
be
turned
aside,
but
rather
be
healed;
14
peace
pursue
with
all,
and
the
separation,
apart
from
which
no
one

15
looking

over
lest
any
one
be
failing
of
the
grace
of
God,
lest
any

of

springing

may

and
through
this
many

16
lest
any
one
be
a
fornicator,
or
a
profane
person,
as
Esau,
who
in
exchange
for
one
morsel
of
food
did
sell
his
birthright,
17
for
ye
know
that
also
afterwards,
wishing
to
inherit
the
blessing,
he
was
disapproved
of,
for
a
place
of
reformation
he
found
not,
though
with
tears
having
sought
it.
18
For
ye
came
not
near
to
the
mount
touched
and
scorched
with
fire,
and
to
blackness,
and
darkness,
and
tempest,
19
and
a

of
a

and
a
voice
of
sayings,
which
those
having
heard
did
entreat
that
a
word
might
not
be
added
to
them,
20
for
they
were
not
bearing
that
which
is
commanded,
`And
if
a
beast
may
touch
the
mountain,
it
shall
be
stoned,
or
with
an
arrow
shot
through,`
21
and,
(so
terrible
was
the
sight,)
Moses
said,
`I
am
fearful
exceedingly,
and
trembling.`
22
But,
ye
came
to
Mount
Zion,
and
to
a
city
of
the
living
God,
to
the
heavenly
Jerusalem,
and
to
myriads
of
messengers,
23
to
the
company
and
assembly
of
the
first-born
in
heaven
enrolled,
and
to
God
the
judge
of
all,
and
to
spirits
of
righteous
men
made
perfect,
24
and
to
a
mediator
of
a
new
covenant
--
Jesus,
and
to
blood
of
sprinkling,
speaking
better
things
than
that
of
Abel!
25
See,
may
ye
not
refuse
him
who
is
speaking,
for
if
those
did
not
escape
who
refused
him
who
upon
earth
was
divinely
speaking
--
much
less
we
who
do
turn
away
from
him
who
speaketh
from
heaven,
26
whose
voice
the
earth
shook
then,
and
now
hath
he
promised,
saying,
`Yet
once
--
I
shake
not
only
the
earth,
but
also
the
heaven;`
27
and
this
--
`Yet
once`
--
doth
make
evident
the
removal
of
the
things
shaken,
as
of
things
having
been
made,
that
the
things
not
shaken
may
remain;
28
wherefore,
a
kingdom
that
cannot
be
shaken
receiving,
may
we
have
grace,
through
which
we
may
serve
God
well-pleasingly,
with
reverence
and
religious
fear;
29
for
also
our
God
is
a
consuming
fire.

the

with

"My

Nor

6
For

And

7
It
is
for
discipline
that
you
endure.
God
deals
with
you
as
with
children,
for
what
son
is
there
whom
his
father
doesn't
discipline?
8
But
if
you
are
without
discipline,
whereof
all
have

partakers,
then
are
you
illegitimate,
and
not
children.
9
Furthermore,
we
had
the

and
we
paid
them

Shall
we
not
much

10
For
they
indeed,
for

punished
us

seemed

but
he

it

12
Therefore,
lift
up
the
hands
that
hang

13
and
make
straight
paths
for
your

so
that
which

trouble
you,
and
thereby
the

16
lest
there
be
any
sexually
immoral
person,
or
profane
person,
as
Esau,
who
sold
his
birthright
for
one

17
For
you
know
that
even
when
he
afterward

18
For
you
have

which
those

earth,
much
more
shall
not
we
escape,
if
we
turn
away
from
him
that
speaks
from
heaven:
26
Whose
voice
then
shook
the
earth:
but
now
he
has
promised,
saying,
Yet
once
more
I
shake
not
the
earth
only,
but
also
heaven.
27
And
this
word,
Yet
once
more,
signifies
the
removing
of
those
things
that
are
shaken,
as
of
things
that
are
made,
that
those
things
which
cannot
be
shaken
may
remain.
28
Why
we
receiving
a
kingdom
which
cannot
be
moved,
let
us
have
grace,
whereby
we
may
serve
God
acceptably
with
reverence
and
godly
fear:
29
For
our
God
is
a
consuming
fire.

1
Therefore,
since
we
are
surrounded
by
such
a
great
cloud
of
witnesses,
we
must
get
rid
of
every
weight
and
the
sin
that
clings
so
closely,
and
run
with
endurance
the
race
set
out
for
us,
2
keeping
our
eyes
fixed
on
Jesus,
the
pioneer
and
perfecter
of
our
faith.
For
the
joy
set
out
for
him
he
endured
the
cross,
disregarding
its
shame,
and
has
taken
his
seat
at
the
right
hand
of
the
throne
of
God.
3
Think
of
him
who
endured
such
opposition
against
himself
by
sinners,
so
that
you
may
not
grow
weary
in
your
souls
and
give
up.
4
You
have
not
yet
resisted
to
the
point
of
bloodshed
in
your
struggle
against
sin.
5
And
have
you
forgotten
the
exhortation
addressed
to
you
as
sons?
"My
son,
do
not
scorn
the
Lord's
discipline
or
give
up
when
he
corrects
you.
6
"For
the
Lord
disciplines
the
one
he
loves
and
chastises
every
son
he
accepts."
7
Endure
your
suffering
as
discipline;
God
is
treating
you
as
sons.
For
what
son
is
there
that
a
father
does
not
discipline?
8
But
if
you
do
not
experience
discipline,
something
all
sons
have
shared
in,
then
you
are
illegitimate
and
are
not
sons.
9
Besides,
we
have
experienced
discipline
from
our
earthly
fathers
and
we
respected
them;
shall
we
not
submit
ourselves
all
the
more
to
the
Father
of
spirits
and
receive
life?
10
For
they
disciplined
us
for
a
little
while
as
seemed
good
to
them,
but
he
does
so
for
our
benefit,
that
we
may
share
his
holiness.
11
Now
all
discipline
seems
painful
at
the
time,
not
joyful.
But
later
it
produces
the
fruit
of
peace
and
righteousness
for
those
trained
by
it.
12
Therefore,
strengthen
your
listless
hands
and
your
weak
knees,
13
and
make
straight
paths
for
your
feet,
so
that
what
is
lame
may
not
be
put
out
of
joint
but
be
healed.
14
Pursue
peace
with
everyone,
and
holiness,
for
without
it
no
one
will
see
the
Lord.
15
See
to
it
that
no
one
comes
short
of
the
grace
of
God,
that
no
one
be
like
a
bitter
root
springing
up
and
causing
trouble,
and
through
him
many
become
defiled.
16
And
see
to
it
that
no
one
becomes
an
immoral
or
godless
person
like
Esau,
who
sold
his
own
birthright
for
a
single
meal.
17
For
you
know
that
later
when
he
wanted
to
inherit
the
blessing,
he
was
rejected,
for
he
found
no
opportunity
for
repentance,
although
he
sought
the
blessing
with
tears.
18
For
you
have
not
come
to
something
that
can
be
touched,
to
a
burning
fire
and
darkness
and
gloom
and
a
whirlwind
19
and
the
blast
of
a
trumpet
and
a
voice
uttering
words
such
that
those
who
heard
begged
to
hear
no
more.
20
For
they
could
not
bear
what
was
commanded:
"If
even
an
animal
touches
the
mountain,
it
must
be
stoned."
21
In
fact,
the
scene
was
so
terrifying
that
Moses
said,
"I
shudder
with
fear."
22
But
you
have
come
to
Mount
Zion,
the
city
of
the
living
God,
the
heavenly
Jerusalem,
and
to
myriads
of
angels,
to
the
assembly
23
and
congregation
of
the
firstborn,
who
are
enrolled
in
heaven,
and
to
God,
the
judge
of
all,
and
to
the
spirits
of
the
righteous,
who
have
been
made
perfect,
24
and
to
Jesus,
the
mediator
of
a
new
covenant,
and
to
the
sprinkled
blood
that
speaks
of
something
better
than
Abel's
does.
25
Take
care
not
to
refuse
the
one
who
is
speaking!
For
if
they
did
not
escape
when
they
refused
the
one
who
warned
them
on
earth,
how
much
less
shall
we,
if
we
reject
the
one
who
warns
from
heaven?
26
Then
his
voice
shook
the
earth,
but
now
he
has
promised,
"I
will
once
more
shake
not
only
the
earth
but
heaven
too."
27
Now
this
phrase
"once
more"
indicates
the
removal
of
what
is
shaken,
that
is,
of
created
things,
so
that
what
is
unshaken
may
remain.
28
So
since
we
are
receiving
an
unshakable
kingdom,
let
us
give
thanks,
and
through
this
let
us
offer
worship
pleasing
to
God
in
devotion
and
awe.
29
For
our
God
is
indeed
a
devouring
fire.

1
We
have
all
these
great
people
around
us
as
examples.
Their
lives
tell
us
what
faith
means.
So
we,
too,
should
run
the
race
that
is
before
us
and
never
quit.
We
should
remove
from
our
lives
anything
that
would
slow
us
down
and
the
sin
that
so
often
makes
us
fall.
2
We
must
never
stop
looking
to
Jesus.
He
is
the
leader
of
our
faith,
and
he
is
the
one
who
makes
our
faith
complete.
He
suffered
death
on
a
cross.
But
he
accepted
the
shame
of
the
cross
as
if
it
were
nothing
because
of
the
joy
he
could
see
waiting
for
him.
And
now
he
is
sitting
at
the
right
side
of
God's
throne.
3
Think
about
Jesus.
He
patiently
endured
the
angry
insults
that
sinful
people
were
shouting
at
him.
Think
about
him
so
that
you
won't
get
discouraged
and
stop
trying.
4
You
are
struggling
against
sin,
but
you
have
not
had
to
give
up
your
life
for
the
cause.
5
You
are
children
of
God,
and
he
speaks
words
of
comfort
to
you.
You
have
forgotten
these
words:
"My
child,
don't
think
the
Lord's
discipline
is
worth
nothing,
and
don't
stop
trying
when
he
corrects
you.
6
The
Lord
disciplines
everyone
he
loves;
and
he
punishes
everyone
he
accepts
as
a
child."
7
So
accept
sufferings
like
a
father's
discipline.
God
does
these
things
to
you
like
a
father
correcting
his
children.
You
know
that
all
children
are
disciplined
by
their
fathers.
8
So,
if
you
never
receive
the
discipline
that
every
child
must
have,
you
are
not
true
children
and
don't
really
belong
to
God.
9
We
have
all
had
fathers
here
on
earth
who
corrected
us
with
discipline.
And
we
respected
them.
So
it
is
even
more
important
that
we
accept
discipline
from
the
Father
of
our
spirits.
If
we
do
this,
we
will
have
life.
10
Our
fathers
on
earth
disciplined
us
for
a
short
time
in
the
way
they
thought
was
best.
But
God
disciplines
us
to
help
us
so
that
we
can
be
holy
like
him.
11
We
don't
enjoy
discipline
when
we
get
it.
It
is
painful.
But
later,
after
we
have
learned
our
lesson
from
it,
we
will
enjoy
the
peace
that
comes
from
doing
what
is
right.
12
You
have
become
weak,
so
make
yourselves
strong
again.
13
Live
in
the
right
way
so
that
you
will
be
saved
and
your
weakness
will
not
cause
you
to
be
lost.
14
Try
to
live
in
peace
with
everyone.
And
try
to
keep
your
lives
free
from
sin.
Anyone
whose
life
is
not
holy
will
never
see
the
Lord.
15
Be
careful
that
no
one
fails
to
get
God's
grace.
Be
careful
that
no
one
loses
their
faith
and
becomes
like
a
bitter
weed
growing
among
you.
Someone
like
that
can
ruin
your
whole
group.
16
Be
careful
that
no
one
commits
sexual
sin.
And
be
careful
that
no
one
is
like
Esau
and
never
thinks
about
God.
As
the
oldest
son,
Esau
would
have
inherited
everything
from
his
father.
But
he
sold
all
that
for
a
single
meal.
17
You
remember
that
after
Esau
did
this,
he
wanted
to
get
his
father's
blessing.
He
wanted
that
blessing
so
much
that
he
cried.
But
his
father
refused
to
give
him
the
blessing,
because
Esau
could
find
no
way
to
change
what
he
had
done.
18
You
have
not
come
to
a
place
that
can
be
seen
and
touched,
like
the
mountain
the
people
of
Israel
saw,
which
was
burning
with
fire
and
covered
with
darkness,
gloom,
and
storms.
19
There
is
no
sound
of
a
trumpet
or
a
voice
speaking
words
like
those
they
heard.
When
they
heard
the
voice,
they
begged
never
to
hear
another
word.
20
They
did
not
want
to
hear
the
command:
"If
anything,
even
an
animal,
touches
the
mountain,
it
must
be
killed
with
stones."
21
What
they
saw
was
so
terrible
that
Moses
said,
"I
am
shaking
with
fear."
22
But
you
have
come
to
Mount
Zion,
to
the
city
of
the
living
God,
the
heavenly
Jerusalem.
You
have
come
to
a
place
where
thousands
of
angels
have
gathered
to
celebrate.
23
You
have
come
to
the
meeting
of
God's
firstborn
children.
Their
names
are
written
in
heaven.
You
have
come
to
God,
the
judge
of
all
people.
And
you
have
come
to
the
spirits
of
good
people
who
have
been
made
perfect.
24
You
have
come
to
Jesus—the
one
who
brought
the
new
agreement
from
God
to
his
people.
You
have
come
to
the
sprinkled
blood
that
tells
us
about
better
things
than
the
blood
of
Abel.
25
Be
careful
and
don't
refuse
to
listen
when
God
speaks.
Those
people
refused
to
listen
to
him
when
he
warned
them
on
earth.
And
they
did
not
escape.
Now
God
is
speaking
from
heaven.
So
now
it
will
be
worse
for
those
who
refuse
to
listen
to
him.
26
When
he
spoke
before,
his
voice
shook
the
earth.
But
now
he
has
promised,
"Once
again
I
will
shake
the
earth,
but
I
will
also
shake
heaven."
27
The
words
"once
again"
clearly
show
us
that
everything
that
was
created
will
be
destroyed—
that
is,
the
things
that
can
be
shaken.
And
only
what
cannot
be
shaken
will
remain.
28
So
we
should
be
thankful
because
we
have
a
kingdom
that
cannot
be
shaken.
And
because
we
are
thankful,
we
should
worship
God
in
a
way
that
will
please
him.
We
should
do
this
with
respect
and
fear,
29
because
our
God
is
like
a
fire
that
can
destroy
us.

All
these
many
people
who
have
had
faith
in
God
are
around
us
like
a
cloud.
Let
us
put
every
thing
out
of
our
lives
that
keeps
us
from
doing
what
we
should.
Let
us
keep
running
in
the
race
that
God
has
planned
for
us.
2
Let
us
keep
looking
to
Jesus.
Our
faith
comes
from
Him
and
He
is
the
One
Who
makes
it
perfect.
He
did
not
give
up
when
He
had
to
suffer
shame
and
die
on
a
cross.
He
knew
of
the
joy
that
would
be
His
later.
Now
He
is
sitting
at
the
right
side
of
God.
3
Sinful
men
spoke
words
of
hate
against
Christ.
He
was
willing
to
take
such
shame
from
sinners.
Think
of
this
so
you
will
not
get
tired
and
give
up.
4
In
your
fight
against
sin,
you
have
not
yet
had
to
stand
against
sin
with
your
blood.
5
Do
you
remember
what
God
said
to
you
when
He
called
you
His
sons?
"My
son,
listen
when
the
Lord
punishes
you.
Do
not
give
up
when
He
tells
you
what
you
must
do.
6
The
Lord
punishes
everyone
He
loves.
He
whips
every
son
He
receives."
(Proverbs
3:11-12)
7
Do
not
give
up
when
you
are
punished
by
God.
Be
willing
to
take
it,
knowing
that
God
is
teaching
you
as
a
son.
Is
there
a
father
who
does
not
punish
his
son
sometimes?
8
If
you
are
not
punished
as
all
sons
are,
it
means
that
you
are
not
a
true
son
of
God.
You
are
not
a
part
of
His
family
and
He
is
not
your
Father.
9
Remember
that
our
fathers
on
earth
punished
us.
We
had
respect
for
them.
How
much
more
should
we
obey
our
Father
in
heaven
and
live?
10
For
a
little
while
our
fathers
on
earth
punished
us
when
they
thought
they
should.
But
God
punishes
us
for
our
good
so
we
will
be
holy
as
He
is
holy.
11
There
is
no
joy
while
we
are
being
punished.
It
is
hard
to
take,
but
later
we
can
see
that
good
came
from
it.
And
it
gives
us
the
peace
of
being
right
with
God.
12
So
lift
up
your
hands
that
have
been
weak.
Stand
up
on
your
weak
legs.
13
Walk
straight
ahead
so
the
weak
leg
will
not
be
turned
aside,
but
will
be
healed.
14
Be
at
peace
with
all
men.
Live
a
holy
life.
No
one
will
see
the
Lord
without
having
that
kind
of
life.
15
See
that
no
one
misses
God's
loving-favor.
Do
not
let
wrong
thoughts
about
others
get
started
among
you.
If
you
do,
many
people
will
be
turned
to
a
life
of
sin.
16
None
of
you
should
fall
into
sex
sins
or
forget
God
like
Esau
did.
He
had
a
right
to
get
all
Isaac
had
because
he
was
the
oldest
son.
But
for
one
plate
of
food
he
sold
this
right
to
his
brother.
17
You
know
that
later
he
would
have
received
everything.
But
he
did
not
get
it
even
when
he
asked
for
it
with
tears.
It
was
too
late
to
make
right
the
wrong
he
had
done.
18
For
you
have
not
come
close
to
a
mountain
that
you
can
touch.
You
have
not
come
to
worship
where
there
is
burning
fire
and
darkness
and
storm
and
wind.
19
The
sound
of
a
horn
was
heard
and
God's
voice
spoke.
The
people
cried
out
to
Moses
to
have
God
stop
speaking
to
them.
20
They
could
not
stand
to
listen
to
His
strong
words,
"Even
if
an
animal
comes
to
the
mountain,
it
must
be
killed."
(Exodus
19:12)
21
What
Moses
saw
was
so
hard
to
look
at
that
he
said,
"I
am
full
of
fear
and
am
shaking."
(Deuteronomy
9:19)
22
But
instead,
you
have
come
to
the
mountain
of
Jerusalem.
It
is
the
city
of
the
living
God.
It
is
the
Jerusalem
of
heaven
with
its
thousands
of
angels.
23
You
have
gathered
there
with
God's
children
who
were
born
long
ago.
They
are
citizens
of
heaven.
God
is
there.
He
will
judge
all
men.
The
spirits
of
all
those
right
with
God
are
there.
They
have
been
made
perfect.
24
Jesus
is
there.
He
has
made
a
way
for
man
to
go
to
God.
He
gave
His
blood
that
men
might
worship
God
the
New
Way.
The
blood
of
Jesus
tells
of
better
things
than
that
which
Abel
used.
25
Be
sure
you
listen
to
the
One
Who
is
speaking
to
you.
The
Jews
did
not
obey
when
God's
Law
was
given
to
them
on
earth.
They
did
not
go
free.
They
were
punished.
We
will
be
punished
more
if
we
do
not
listen
to
God
as
He
speaks
from
heaven.
26
On
Mount
Sinai,
God's
voice
shook
the
earth.
But
now
He
has
promised,
saying,
"Once
more
I
will
shake
the
earth
and
the
heavens."
(Exodus
19:18)
27
When
God
says,
"Once
more,"
He
means
He
will
take
away
everything
of
this
world
that
can
be
shaken
so
the
things
that
cannot
be
shaken
will
be
left.
28
Since
we
have
received
a
holy
nation
that
cannot
be
moved,
let
us
be
thankful.
Let
us
please
God
and
worship
Him
with
honor
and
fear.
29
For
our
God
is
a
fire
that
destroys
everything.

1
We
have
around
us
many
people
whose
lives
tell
us
what
faith
means.
So
let
us
run
the
race
that
is
before
us
and
never
give
up.
We
should
remove
from
our
lives
anything
that
would
get
in
the
way
and
the
sin
that
so
easily
holds
us
back.
2
Let
us
look
only
to
Jesus,
the
One
who
began
our
faith
and
who
makes
it
perfect.
He
suffered
death
on
the
cross.
But
he
accepted
the
shame
as
if
it
were
nothing
because
of
the
joy
that
God
put
before
him.
And
now
he
is
sitting
at
the
right
side
of
God's
throne.
3
Think
about
Jesus'
example.
He
held
on
while
wicked
people
were
doing
evil
things
to
him.
So
do
not
get
tired
and
stop
trying.
4
You
are
struggling
against
sin,
but
your
struggles
have
not
yet
caused
you
to
be
killed.
5
You
have
forgotten
the
encouraging
words
that
call
you
his
children:
"My
child,
don't
think
the
Lord's
discipline
is
worth
nothing,
and
don't
stop
trying
when
he
corrects
you.
6
The
Lord
disciplines
those
he
loves,
and
he
punishes
everyone
he
accepts
as
his
child."
7
So
hold
on
through
your
sufferings,
because
they
are
like
a
father's
discipline.
God
is
treating
you
as
children.
All
children
are
disciplined
by
their
fathers.
8
If
you
are
never
disciplined
(and
every
child
must
be
disciplined),
you
are
not
true
children.
9
We
have
all
had
fathers
here
on
earth
who
disciplined
us,
and
we
respected
them.
So
it
is
even
more
important
that
we
accept
discipline
from
the
Father
of
our
spirits
so
we
will
have
life.
10
Our
fathers
on
earth
disciplined
us
for
a
short
time
in
the
way
they
thought
was
best.
But
God
disciplines
us
to
help
us,
so
we
can
become
holy
as
he
is.
11
We
do
not
enjoy
being
disciplined.
It
is
painful,
but
later,
after
we
have
learned
from
it,
we
have
peace,
because
we
start
living
in
the
right
way.
12
You
have
become
weak,
so
make
yourselves
strong
again.
13
Live
in
the
right
way
so
that
you
will
be
saved
and
your
weakness
will
not
cause
you
to
be
lost.
14
Try
to
live
in
peace
with
all
people,
and
try
to
live
free
from
sin.
Anyone
whose
life
is
not
holy
will
never
see
the
Lord.
15
Be
careful
that
no
one
fails
to
receive
God's
grace
and
begins
to
cause
trouble
among
you.
A
person
like
that
can
ruin
many
of
you.
16
Be
careful
that
no
one
takes
part
in
sexual
sin
or
is
like
Esau
and
never
thinks
about
God.
As
the
oldest
son,
Esau
would
have
received
everything
from
his
father,
but
he
sold
all
that
for
a
single
meal.
17
You
remember
that
after
Esau
did
this,
he
wanted
to
get
his
father's
blessing,
but
his
father
refused.
Esau
could
find
no
way
to
change
what
he
had
done,
even
though
he
wanted
the
blessing
so
much
that
he
cried.
18
You
have
not
come
to
a
mountain
that
can
be
touched
and
that
is
burning
with
fire.
You
have
not
come
to
darkness,
sadness,
and
storms.
19
You
have
not
come
to
the
noise
of
a
trumpet
or
to
the
sound
of
a
voice
like
the
one
the
people
of
Israel
heard
and
begged
not
to
hear
another
word.
20
They
did
not
want
to
hear
the
command:
"If
anything,
even
an
animal,
touches
the
mountain,
it
must
be
put
to
death
with
stones."
21
What
they
saw
was
so
terrible
that
Moses
said,
"I
am
shaking
with
fear."
22
But
you
have
come
to
Mount
Zion,
to
the
city
of
the
living
God,
the
heavenly
Jerusalem.
You
have
come
to
thousands
of
angels
gathered
together
with
joy.
23
You
have
come
to
the
meeting
of
God's
firstbornn
children
whose
names
are
written
in
heaven.
You
have
come
to
God,
the
judge
of
all
people,
and
to
the
spirits
of
good
people
who
have
been
made
perfect.
24
You
have
come
to
Jesus,
the
One
who
brought
the
new
agreement
from
God
to
his
people,
and
you
have
come
to
the
sprinkled
bloodn
that
has
a
better
message
than
the
blood
of
Abel.
25
So
be
careful
and
do
not
refuse
to
listen
when
God
speaks.
Others
refused
to
listen
to
him
when
he
warned
them
on
earth,
and
they
did
not
escape.
So
it
will
be
worse
for
us
if
we
refuse
to
listen
to
God
who
warns
us
from
heaven.
26
When
he
spoke
before,
his
voice
shook
the
earth,
but
now
he
has
promised,
"Once
again
I
will
shake
not
only
the
earth
but
also
the
heavens."
27
The
words
"once
again"
clearly
show
us
that
everything
that
was
made
--
things
that
can
be
shaken
--
will
be
destroyed.
Only
the
things
that
cannot
be
shaken
will
remain.
28
So
let
us
be
thankful,
because
we
have
a
kingdom
that
cannot
be
shaken.
We
should
worship
God
in
a
way
that
pleases
him
with
respect
and
fear,
29
because
our
God
is
like
a
fire
that
burns
things
up.

110:1
3
For
consider
Him
who
had
endured
such
gainsaying
of
sinners
against
Himself,
that
you
do
not
grow
weary,
fainting
in
your
souls.
4
You
did
not
yet
resist
unto
blood,
wrestling
against
sin.
5
And
you
have
forgotten
the
exhortation
which
He
speaks
with
you,
as
with
sons,
"My
sons,
do
not
despise
the
chastening
of
the
Lord,
nor
faint
while
being
corrected
by
Him.
6
For
whom
the
Lord
loves,
He
disciplines,
and
whips
every
son
whom
He
receives."
Prov.
3:11,
12
7
If
you
endure
discipline,
God
is
dealing
with
you
as
with
sons;
for
who
is
the
son
whom
a
father
does
not
discipline?
8
But
if
you
are
without
discipline,
of
which
all
have
become
sharers,
then
you
are
bastards,
and
not
sons.
9
Furthermore,
indeed
we
have
had
fathers
of
our
flesh
as
correctors,
and
we
respected
them.
Shall
we
not
much
more
be
subject
to
the
Father
of
spirits,
and
we
shall
live?
10
For
they
truly
disciplined
us
for
a
few
days
according
to
the
thing
seeming
good
to
them;
but
He
for
our
profit,
in
order
for
us
to
partake
of
His
holiness.
11
And
all
discipline
for
the
present
indeed
does
not
seem
to
be
joyous,
but
grievous;
but
afterward
it
gives
back
peaceable
fruit
of
righteousness
to
the
ones
having
been
exercised
by
it.
12
Because
of
this,
"straighten
the
hands"
hanging
alongside,
"and
the
enfeebled
knees;"
13
"and
make
straight
tracks
for
your
feet,"
that

lame
not
be

aside,
but
rather
healed.

any
lack
from
the
grace
of
God,
that
"no

bitterness
growing
up"
may
crowd
"in
on
you",
and
through
this
many
be
defiled;

for
you
know
also
that
afterwards
desiring
to
inherit
the
blessing,
he
was
rejected,
for
he
found
no
place
of
repentance,
although
seeking
it
out
with
tears.
Gen.
27:36-39
18
For
you
have
not
drawn
near
to
the
mountain
being
touched,
and
having
been
lit
with
fire,
and
to
gloom,
and
darkness,
and
tempest,
19
and
to
a
sound
of
trumpet,
and
to
a
voice
of
words,
which
those
hearing
begged
that
not
a
word
be
added
to
them;
20
for
they
could
not
bear
the
thing
enjoined:
"Even"
"if
a
beast"
"touches
the
mountain,
it
will
be
stoned,
or
shot
through"
with
a
dart.
Ex.
19:12,
13
21
And
so
fearful
was
the
thing
appearing,
Moses
said,
"I
am
terrified
and
trembling."
Deut.
9:19
22
But
you
have
drawn
near
Mount
Zion,
even
the
city
of
the
living
God,
to
a
heavenly
Jerusalem,
and
to
myriads
of
angels,
23
and
to
a
gathering,
an
assembly
of
the
first-born
ones
having
been
enrolled
in
Heaven;
and
to
God
the
Judge
of
all,
and
to
spirits
of
just
ones
who
have
been
perfected;
24
and
to
Jesus
the
Mediator
of
a
new
covenant,
and
to
blood
of
sprinkling
speaking
better
things
than
that
of
Abel.
25
Watch
that
you
do
not
refuse
the
One
speaking;
for
if
these
did
not
escape,
who
refused
Him
who
divinely
warned
them
on
earth,
much
rather
we,
those
turning
away
from
Heaven;
26
whose
voice
shook
the
earth
then,
but
now
He
has
promised,
saying,
"Yet
once"
"I
will
shake
not
only
the
earth,
but
also
the
heavens."
Hag.
2:6
27
Now
the
words
"Yet
once"
make
clear
the
removal
of
the
things
being
shaken,
as
having
been
made,
so
that
the
things
not
being
shaken
may
remain.
28
For
this
reason,
receiving
an
unshakable
kingdom,
let
us
have
grace,
by
which
we
may
serve
God
pleasingly,
with
reverence
and
awe;
29
for
also,
"Our
God
is
a
consuming
fire."

And

My

6
for
the

7
Endure
it
as
discipline:
God
is
dealing
with
you
as
sons.
For
what
son
is
there
whom
a
father
does
not
discipline?
8
But
if
you
are

all
receive--
then
you

9
Furthermore,
we

Shouldn't

10
For
they
disciplined
us
for

on
what
seemed

but
He
does
it
for
our

painful.

however,
it
yields
the
fruit

righteousness
to
those

12
Therefore
strengthen
your

13
and
make
straight
paths
for
your
feet,
so
that
what
is
lame
may
not
be
dislocated,
but
healed
instead.
14
Pursue
peace
with
everyone,
and
holiness--
without
it
no
one
will
see
the
Lord.
15
See
to
it
that
no
one
falls
short
of
the
grace
of
God
and
that
no
root
of
bitterness
springs
up,
causing
trouble
and
by

defiling
many.
16
And
see
that
there
isn't
any
immoral

person
like
Esau,
who
sold

in
exchange

blood,
which
says
better
things
than
the
blood
of
Abel.
25
See
that
you
do
not
reject
the
One
who
speaks;
for
if
they
did
not
escape
when
they
rejected
Him
who
warned
them
on
earth,
even
less
will
we
if
we
turn
away
from
Him
who
warns
us
from
heaven.
26
His
voice
shook
the
earth
at
that
time,
but
now
He
has
promised,
Yet
once
more
I
will
shake
not
only
the
earth
but
also
heaven.
27
Now
this
expression,
"Yet
once
more,"
indicates
the
removal
of
what
can
be
shaken--
that
is,
created
things--
so
that
what
is
not
shaken
might
remain.
28
Therefore,
since
we
are
receiving
a
kingdom
that
cannot
be
shaken,
let
us
hold
on
to
grace.
By
it,
we
may
serve
God
acceptably,
with
reverence
and
awe;
29
for
our
God
is
a
consuming
fire.
