1. וְהֶחֱזִיקוּ שֶׁבַע נָשִׁים בְּאִישׁ אֶחָד בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא לֵאמֹר לַחְמֵנוּ נֹאכֵל וְשִׂמְלָתֵנוּ נִלְבָּשׁ רַק יִקָּרֵא שִׁמְךָ עָלֵינוּ אֱסֹף חֶרְפָּתֵנוּ ׃ ס

1. And in that H1931 day H3117 seven H7651 women H802 shall take hold H2388 of one H259 man H376 , saying H559 , We will eat H398 our own bread H3899 , and wear H3847 our own apparel H8071 : only H7535 let us be called H7121 by thy name H8034 , to take H622 away our reproach H2781 .

2. בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִהְיֶה צֶמַח יְהוָה לִצְבִי וּלְכָבוֹד וּפְרִי הָאָרֶץ לְגָאוֹן וּלְתִפְאֶרֶת לִפְלֵיטַת יִשְׂרָאֵל ׃

2. In that H1931 day H3117 shall the branch H6780 of the LORD H3068 be H1961 beautiful H6643 and glorious H3519 , and the fruit H6529 of the earth H776 shall be excellent H1347 and comely H8597 for them that are escaped H6413 of Israel H3478 .

3. וְהָיָה הַנִּשְׁאָר בְּצִיּוֹן וְהַנּוֹתָר בִּירוּשָׁלַםִ קָדוֹשׁ יֵאָמֶר לוֹ כָּל־הַכָּתוּב לַחַיִּים בִּירוּשָׁלָםִ ׃

3. And it shall come to pass H1961 , that he that is left H7604 in Zion H6726 , and he that remaineth H3498 in Jerusalem H3389 , shall be called H559 holy H6918 , even every one H3605 that is written H3789 among the living H2416 in Jerusalem H3389 :

4. אִם רָחַץ אֲדֹנָי אֵת צֹאַת בְּנוֹת־צִיּוֹן וְאֶת־דְּמֵי יְרוּשָׁלַםִ יָדִיחַ מִקִּרְבָּהּ בְּרוּחַ מִשְׁפָּט וּבְרוּחַ בָּעֵר ׃

4. When H518 the Lord H136 shall have washed away H7364 H853 the filth H6675 of the daughters H1323 of Zion H6726 , and shall have purged H1740 the blood H1818 of Jerusalem H3389 from the midst H4480 H7130 thereof by the spirit H7307 of judgment H4941 , and by the spirit H7307 of burning H1197 .

5. וּבָרָא יְהוָה עַל כָּל־מְכוֹן הַר־צִיּוֹן וְעַל־מִקְרָאֶהָ עָנָן יוֹמָם וְעָשָׁן וְנֹגַהּ אֵשׁ לֶהָבָה לָיְלָה כִּי עַל־כָּל־כָּבוֹד חֻפָּה ׃

5. And the LORD H3068 will create H1254 upon H5921 every H3605 dwelling place H4349 of mount H2022 Zion H6726 , and upon H5921 her assemblies H4744 , a cloud H6051 and smoke H6227 by day H3119 , and the shining H5051 of a flaming H3852 fire H784 by night H3915 : for H3588 upon H5921 all H3605 the glory H3519 shall be a defense H2646 .

6. וְסֻכָּה תִּהְיֶה לְצֵל־יוֹמָם מֵחֹרֶב וּלְמַחְסֶה וּלְמִסְתּוֹר מִזֶּרֶם וּמִמָּטָר ׃ פ
|
6. And there shall be H1961 a tabernacle H5521 for a shadow H6738 in the daytime H3119 from the heat H4480 H2721 , and for a place of refuge H4268 , and for a covert H4563 from storm H4480 H2230 and from rain H4480 H4306 .
