1 প্রভু বলেন, “যারা আমার কাছে উপদেশ নিতে আসেনি আমি তাদেরও সাহায্য করেছি| আমাকে যারা পেয়েছে তারা কেউ আমার দিকে তাকিযে ছিল না| আমি একটা জাতির সঙ্গে কথা বলেছিলাম যারা আমার নামে নামাঙ্কিত নয়| আমি বলেছিলাম, ‘আমি এখানে! আমি এখানে!’
2 যারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে গিয়েছিল এমন লোকদের গ্রহণ করার জন্য আমি সারাদিন প্রস্তুত হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছিলাম| তারা আমার কাছে আসুক- আমি তাদের অপেক্ষায ছিলাম| কিন্তু তারা আমার কাছ থেকে দূরে ছিল| তারা অসত্‌ পথে জীবনযাপন চালিযে গিয়েছিল| তাদের হৃদয় যা করতে চেয়েছিল তারা তাই করেছিল|
3 তারা আমার সামনে আমাকে সর্বদা রুদ্ধ করেছিল| তারা তাদের বিশেষ বাগানে পশুবলি দিত ও ধূনো জ্বালাত|
4 তারা কবরস্থানে বসে থাকে| তারা মৃত মানুষদের কাছ থেকে ভাল বার্তা পাবার জন্য প্রতীক্ষায থাকত| মৃতদের সঙ্গেও তারা বসবাস করত| তারা শুয়োরের মাংস খেত| তাদের ছুরি ও কাঁটাচামচ বাজে মাংস খেয়ে নোংরা হয়ে গিয়েছিল|
5 “কিন্তু তারা অন্যদের বলত, ‘আমার কাছে আসবে না! আমি যতক্ষণ না তোমাদের পরিষ্কার করছি ততক্ষণ তোমারা আমাকে স্পর্শ করবে না|’ এরা আমার চোখে ধোঁযার মত এবং এদের আগুন সর্বদাই জ্বলে|”
6 “দেখ, এখানে হিসাব আছে| মেটাতে হবে| হিসাব অনুযায়ীতুমি তোমার পাপের জন্য দোষী| এই হিসাব না মেটানো পর্য়ন্ত আমি শান্ত হব না এবং তোমাকে শাস্তি দিয়েই হিসাব পরিশোধ করব|
7 “তোমার ও তোমার পিতার পাপ সবই সমান| প্রভু বলেন, “পর্বতের ওপর ধূপ জ্বালাবার সময় তোমাদের পিতারা পাপ করেছে| তারা ঐ পর্বতগুলোর ওপর আমায় অবমাননা করেছে| এবং আমিই প্রথম যে তাদের শাস্তি দিয়েছিলাম| আমি তাদের উচিত্‌ প্রাপ্য শাস্তি দিয়েছিলাম|”
8 প্রভু বলেন, “দ্রাক্ষাতে যখন নতুন সুরা থাকে মানুষ তখন তা বের করে নেয| কিন্তু তারা দ্রাক্ষাগুলিকে পারোপরি ধ্বংস করে না| তারা এই সব করে কারণ দ্রাক্ষা এরপরেও ব্যবহার করা যায়| আমি আমার দাসদের প্রতি ঠিং এংই জিনিষ করব| তাদের আমি পারোপুরি ধ্বংস করবো না|
9 যাকোবের (ইস্রায়েল) কিছু লোককে আমি রক্ষা করব| যিহূদার কিছু মানুষ আমার পাহাড় পাবে| আমার দাসরা সেখানে বাস করবে| আমি পছন্দ করে ঠিং করব কারা ওখানে বাস করবে|
10 বছর বযস পর্য়ন্ত না বাঁচে লোকে তাকে অভিশপ্ত মানুষ বলে বিবেচনা করবে|
11 “কিন্তু তোমরা প্রভুকে ত্যাগ করেছো, তাই তোমরা শাস্তি ভোগ করবে| তোমরা আমার পবিত্র সিয়োন পর্বতের কথা ভুলে গিয়েছো| তোমরা “ভাগ্য” ও “অদৃষ্ট” মূর্ত্তিগুলোকে পজৈো করতে শুরু করেছিলে| তোমরা তাদের নৈবেদ্য দিয়েছিলে|
12 কিন্তু আমি তোমাদের ভবিষ্যত্‌ নির্ণয করেছি| তোমরা তরবারির দ্বারা শেষ হবে| তোমরা সবাই খুন হবে| কেন? কারণ আমি তোমাদের ডাকলেও তোমরা উত্তর দিতে অস্বীকার করেছিলে! আমি কথা বললেও তোমরা শোন নি| আমি যে সব কাজকে অপংর্ম বলেছিলাম তোমরা সেগুলিই করেছো| আমি যা পছন্দ করি না তাই তোমরা করবে বলে ঠিং করেছিলে|”
13 তাই প্রভু, আমার সদাপ্রভু বলেন, “যদিও আমার দাসরা খাবে, তোমরা ক্ষুধার্ত থেকে যাবে| আমার দাসরা পান করতে পারলেও তোমরা তৃষ্ণার্ত থাকবে| আমার দাসরা সুখী হলেও তোমরা দুষ্ট লোকরা লজ্জিত হবে|
14 আমার দাসরা আনন্দে মাতোহারা হবে কিন্তু তোমরা দুঃখে কেঁদে ভাসাবে| তোমাদের হৃদয় ভেঙ্গে যাবে এবং তোমরা খুবই দুঃখিত হবে|
15 তোমাদের নাম আমার দাসদের কাছে বাজে শব্দের মতো শোনাবে|” আমার প্রভু তোমাদের হত্যা করবেন| আর তাঁর দাসদের দেবেন নতুন নাম|
16 লোকে এখন পৃথিবীর কাছে আশীর্বাদ প্লার্থনা করছে| কিন্তু ভবিষ্যতে তারা আশীর্বাদ চাইবে আস্থাবান ঈশ্বরের কাছে| এখন যারা পৃথিবীর নাম নিয়ে কোন প্রতিশ্রুতি করেছে তারা ভবিষ্যতে ঈশ্বরের নামে প্রতিশ্রুতি করবে| কেন? কারণ, অতীতের সমস্যার কথা সবাই ভুলে যাবে| তারা আমার চক্ষুর অন্তরালে আছে|
17 “আমি নতুন পৃথিবী ও নতুন স্বর্গ তৈরী করব| লোকরা অতীতের কথা মনে রাখবে না| সেই সব কথা তারা মোটেই চিন্তা করবে না|
18 আমার লোকরা সুখী হবে| এখন থেকে চিরকাল তারা আনন্দ করবে| কেন? আমি তাই করব| জেরুশালেমকে আমি তৈরী করব আনন্দ নগরী এবং সেখানকার লোকদের আমি করব খুব সুখী|
19 “তারপর জেরুশালেমের জন্য আমিও সুখী হব| আমি আমার নিজের লোকদের জন্য সুখী হব| শহরে আর কোন কান্না অথবা কান্নার শব্দ এবং দুঃখ থাকবে না|
20 দু-চারদিনের আযু নিয়ে কোন শিশু জন্মাবে না| অল্প সময় বেঁচে থেকে কেউই মরবে না| প্রতিটি শিশু ও বৃদ্ধ বহু বহু বছর বাঁচবে|
21 “শহরে কেউ যদি বাড়ি বানায় সে সেই বাড়িতে বসবাস করতে পারবে| কেউ যদি বাগানে দ্রাক্ষা চাষ করে তবে সে সেই দ্রাক্ষা ফল খেতে পারবে|
22 আর কখনও এমন হবে না যে এংজন বাড়ী তৈরী করবে আর অন্য জন তাতে বাস করবে| আর কখনও এমন হবে না যে এংজন বাগান তৈরী করবে আর অন্য জন তার ফল খাবে| আমার লোকরা গাছের মত দীর্ঘ জীবন পাবে| আমার মনোনীত লোকরা যা কিছু করবে তা উপভোগ করবে|
23 এংটি মৃত শিশুকে জন্ম দেবার জন্য মহিলারা আর কখনও প্রসব যন্ত্রনা ভোগ করবে না| শিশুর জন্ম দিতে গিয়ে মহিলারা প্রসব যন্ত্রণায় আর ভীত হবে না| প্রভু আমার সব লোকদের ও তাদের শিশুদের আশীর্বাদ করবেন|
24 আর তাহাদের ডাকিবার পূর্ব্বে আমি উত্তর দিব, তাহারা কথা বলিতে না বলিতে আমি শুনিব।
25 কেন্দুয়াব্যাঘ্র ও মেষশাবক একত্র চরিবে, সিংহ বলদের ন্যায় বিচালি খাইবে; আর ধূলিই সর্পের খাদ্য হইবে। তাহারা আমার পবিত্র পর্ব্বতের কোন স্থানে হিংসা কিম্বা বিনাশ করিবে না, ইহা সদাপ্রভু কহেন।

2 I have spread out H6566 my hands H3027 all H3605 NMS the day H3117 D-AMS unto H413 PREP a rebellious H5637 people H5971 NMS , which walketh H1980 in a way H1870 D-NMS that was not H3808 NADV good H2896 AMS , after H310 ADV their own thoughts H4284 ;
3 A people H5971 that provoketh me to anger H3707 continually H8548 to H5921 PREP my face H6440 NMP-1MS ; that sacrificeth H2076 in gardens H1593 , and burneth incense H6999 upon H5921 PREP altars of brick H3843 ;
4 Which remain H3427 among the graves H6913 , and lodge H3885 VQY3MP in the monuments H5341 , which eat H398 swine H2386 \'s flesh H1320 CMS , and broth H4839 of abominable H6292 things is in their vessels H3627 ;
5 Which say H559 , Stand H7126 by H413 PREP-2MS thyself , come not near H5066 to me ; for H3588 CONJ I am holier H6942 than thou . These H428 PMP are a smoke H6227 NMS in my nose H639 , a fire H784 CMS that burneth H3344 all H3605 NMS the day H3117 D-NMS .
6 Behold H2009 IJEC , it is written H3789 before H6440 me : I will not H3808 NADV keep silence H2814 , but H518 PART will recompense H7999 , even recompense H7999 into H5921 PREP their bosom H2436 ,
7 Your iniquities H5771 , and the iniquities H5771 of your fathers H1 together H3162 ADV-3MS , saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS , which H834 RPRO have burned incense H6999 upon H5921 PREP the mountains H2022 , and blasphemed H2778 me upon H5921 PREP the hills H1389 : therefore will I measure H4058 their former H7223 work H6468 into H413 their bosom H2436 .
8 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS , As H834 K-RPRO the new wine H8492 is found H4672 in the cluster H811 , and one saith H559 , Destroy H7843 it not H408 NPAR ; for H3588 CONJ a blessing H1293 is in it : so H3651 ADV will I do H6213 VQY1MS for my servants\' sakes H4616 L-CONJ , that I may not H1115 L-NPAR destroy H7843 them all H3605 .
9 And I will bring forth H3318 a seed H2233 NMS out of Jacob H3290 , and out of Judah H3063 an inheritor H3423 of my mountains H2022 : and mine elect H972 shall inherit H3423 it , and my servants H5650 shall dwell H7931 there H8033 .
10 And Sharon H8289 shall be H1961 W-VQQ3MS a fold H5116 of flocks H6629 NMS , and the valley H6010 W-CMS of Achor H5911 a place for the herds H1241 NMS to lie down in H7258 , for my people H5971 that H834 RPRO have sought H1875 me .
11 But ye H859 W-PPRO-2MP are they that forsake H5800 the LORD H3068 EDS , that forget H7913 my holy H6944 mountain H2022 CMS , that prepare H6186 a table H7979 for that troop H1408 , and that furnish H4390 the drink offering H4469 unto that number H4507 .
12 Therefore will I number H4487 you to the sword H2719 , and ye shall all H3605 bow down H3766 to the slaughter H2874 : because H3282 ADV when I called H7121 VQQ1CS , ye did not H3808 W-NPAR answer H6030 ; when I spoke H1696 VPQ1MS , ye did not H3808 W-NPAR hear H8085 ; but did H6213 evil H7451 before mine eyes H5869 , and did choose H977 that wherein H834 WB-RPRO I delighted H2654 VQQ1MS not H3808 W-NPAR .
13 Therefore H3651 L-ADV thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 , Behold H2009 IJEC , my servants H5650 shall eat H398 , but ye H859 W-PPRO-2MP shall be hungry H7456 : behold H2009 IJEC , my servants H5650 shall drink H8354 , but ye H859 W-PPRO-2MP shall be thirsty H6770 : behold H2009 IJEC , my servants H5650 shall rejoice H8055 , but ye H859 W-PPRO-2MP shall be ashamed H954 :
14 Behold H2009 IJEC , my servants H5650 shall sing H7442 for joy H2898 of heart H3820 NMS , but ye H859 W-PPRO-2MP shall cry H6817 for sorrow H3511 of heart H3820 NMS , and shall howl H3213 for vexation H7667 of spirit H7307 NFS .
15 And ye shall leave H5117 your name H8034 for a curse H7621 unto my chosen H972 : for the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 shall slay H4191 thee , and call H7121 VQY3MS his servants H5650 by another H312 name H8034 CMS :
16 That he who H834 RPRO blesseth himself H1288 in the earth H776 B-NFS shall bless himself H1288 in the God H430 of truth H543 ; and he that sweareth H7650 in the earth H776 B-NFS shall swear H7650 by the God H430 of truth H543 ; because H3588 CONJ the former H7223 troubles H6869 are forgotten H7911 , and because H3588 CONJ they are hid H5641 from mine eyes H5869 M-CMD-1MS .

18 But H518 PART be ye glad H7797 and rejoice H1523 forever H5704 PREP in that which H834 RPRO I H589 PPRO-1MS create H1254 : for H3588 CONJ , behold H2009 , I create H1254 Jerusalem H3389 a rejoicing H1525 , and her people H5971 a joy H4885 .
19 And I will rejoice H1523 in Jerusalem H3389 , and joy H7797 in my people H5971 : and the voice H6963 CMS of weeping H1065 shall be no H3808 W-NPAR more H5750 ADV heard H8085 in her , nor the voice H6963 W-CMS of crying H2201 .

24 And it shall come to pass H1961 W-VQQ3MS , that before H2962 they call H7121 , I H589 W-PPRO-1MS will answer H6030 VQY1MS ; and while they H1992 PPRO-3MP are yet H5750 ADV speaking H1696 , I H589 W-PPRO-1MS will hear H8085 VQY1MS .
25 The wolf H2061 and the lamb H2924 shall feed H7462 VQY3MP together H259 , and the lion H738 shall eat H398 straw H8401 like the bullock H1241 KD-NMS : and dust H6083 NMS shall be the serpent H5175 \'s meat H3899 CMS-3MS . They shall not H3808 ADV hurt H7489 nor H3808 ADV destroy H7843 in all H3605 B-CMS my holy H6944 mountain H2022 CMS , saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS .
