1 "Bring Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Israel, that he may minister to me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.

2 You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.

3 You shall speak to all who are wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron's garments to sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest's office.

4 These are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a coat of checker work, a turban, and a sash: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, and his sons, that he may minister to me in the priest's office.

5 They shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the fine linen.

6 "They shall make the ephod of gold, of blue, and purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the skillful workman.

7 It shall have two shoulder-pieces joined to the two ends of it, that it may be joined together.

8 The skillfully woven band, which is on it, that is on him, shall be like its work and of the same piece; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

9 You shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel:

10 six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six that remain on the other stone, in the order of their birth.

11 With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, shall you engrave the two stones, according to the names of the children of Israel: you shall make them to be enclosed in settings of gold.

12 You shall put the two stones on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the children of Israel: and Aaron shall bear their names before Yahweh on his two shoulders for a memorial.

13 You shall make settings of gold,

14 and two chains of pure gold; you make them like cords shall, of braided work: and you shall put the braided chains on the settings.

15 "You shall make a breastplate of judgment, the work of the skillful workman; like the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, shall you make it.

16 It shall be square and folded double; a span shall be its length of it, and a span its breadth.

17 You shall set in it settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of ruby, topaz, and beryl shall be the first row;

18 and the second row a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald;

19 and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;

20 and the fourth row a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper: they shall be enclosed in gold in their settings.

21 The stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, everyone according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.

22 You shall make on the breastplate chains like cords, of braided work of pure gold.

23 You shall make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

24 You shall put the two braided chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.

25 The other two ends of the two braided chains you shall put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod in the forepart of it.

26 You shall make two rings of gold, and you shall put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which is toward the side of the ephod inward.

27 You shall make two rings of gold, and shall put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, in the forepart of it, close by the coupling of it, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.

28 They shall bind the breastplate by the rings of it to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate may not swing out from the ephod.

29 Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes in to the holy place, for a memorial before Yahweh continually.

30 You shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be on Aaron's heart, when he goes in before Yahweh: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel on his heart before Yahweh continually.

31 "You shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue.

32 It shall have a hole for the head in the midst of it: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of a coat of mail, that it not be torn.

33 On its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, around its hem; and bells of gold between them round about:

34 a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, on the hem of the robe round about.

35 It shall be on Aaron to minister: and the sound of it shall be heard when he goes in to the holy place before Yahweh, and when he comes out, that he not die.

36 "You shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, 'HOLY TO YAHWEH.'

37 You shall put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be on the sash; on the front of the sash it shall be.

38 It shall be on Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall make holy in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always on his forehead, that they may be accepted before Yahweh.

39 You shall weave the coat in checker work of fine linen, and you shall make a turban of fine linen, and you shall make a sash, the work of the embroiderer.

40 "You shall make coats for Aaron's sons, and you shall make sashes for them and headbands shall you make for them, for glory and for beauty.

41 You shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to me in the priest's office.

42 You shall make them linen breeches to cover the flesh of their nakedness; from the loins even to the thighs they shall reach:

43 They shall be on Aaron, and on his sons, when they go in to the tent of meeting, or when they come near to the altar to minister in the holy place; that they don't bear iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute forever to him and to his descendants after him.

4 And these ^H428 ^W-PMP are the garments ^H899 which ^H834 ^RPRO they shall make ^H6213 ; a breastplate ^H2833 , and an ephod ^H646 , and a robe ^H4598 , and an embroidered ^H8665 coat ^H3801 , a miter ^H4701 , and a girdle ^H73 : and they shall make ^H6213 ^W-VQQ3MP holy ^H6944 garments ^H899 for Aaron ^H175 thy brother ^H251 ^CMS-2MS , and his sons ^H1121 , that he may minister unto me in the priest\'s office ^H3547 .

5 And they ^H1992 ^W-PPRO-3MP shall take ^H3947 ^VQY3MP gold ^H2091 , and blue ^H8504 , and purple ^H713 , and scarlet ^H8438 ^CFS , and fine linen ^H8336 .

6 And they shall make ^H6213 ^W-VQQ3MP the ephod ^H646 of gold ^H2091 ^NMS , of blue ^H8504 , and of purple ^H713 , of scarlet ^H8438 ^CFS , and fine twined linen ^H8336 , with cunning ^H2803 work ^H4639 ^M-CMS .

7 It shall have ^H1961 ^VQY3MS the two ^H8147 ^ONUM shoulder pieces ^H3802 thereof joined ^H2266 at ^H413 ^PREP the two ^H8147 ^ONUM edges ^H7098 thereof ; and so it shall be joined together ^H2266 .

8 And the curious girdle ^H2805 of the ephod ^H642 , which ^H834 ^RPRO is upon ^H5921 ^PREP-3MS it , shall be ^H1961 ^VQY3MS of ^H4480 ^M-PREP-3MS the same , according to the work ^H4639 thereof ; even of gold ^H2091 ^NMS , of blue ^H8504 , and purple ^H713 , and scarlet ^H8438 , and fine twined linen ^H8336 .

9 And thou shalt take ^H3947 two ^H8147 ^ONUM onyx ^H7718 stones ^H68 ^CMP , and grave ^H6605 on ^H5921 ^PREP-3MP them the names ^H8034 of the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 ^LMS :

10 Six ^H8337 of their names ^H8034 on ^H5921 ^PREP one ^H259 stone ^H68 , and the other six ^H8337 names ^H8034 of the rest ^H3498 on ^H5921 ^PREP the other ^H8145 ^D-ONUM stone ^H68 , according to their birth ^H8435 .

11 With the work ^H4639 ^M-CMS of an engraver ^H2796 in stone ^H68 ^GFS , like the engravings ^H6603 of a signet ^H2368 , shalt thou engrave ^H6605 the two ^H8147 ^ONUM stones ^H68 ^GFS with ^H5921 ^PREP the names ^H8034 of the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 : thou shalt make ^H6213 ^VQY2MS them to be set ^H4142 in ouches ^H4865 of gold ^H2091 ^NMS .

12 And thou shalt put ^H7760 the two ^H8147 ^ONUM stones ^H68 upon ^H5921 ^PREP the shoulders ^H3802 of the ephod ^H646 for stones ^H68 ^CMP of memorial ^H2146 unto the children ^H1121 ^L-CMP of Israel ^H3478 : and Aaron ^H175 shall bear ^H5375 their names ^H8034 before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS upon ^H5921 ^PREP his two ^H8147 ^ONUM shoulders ^H3802 for a memorial ^H2146 .

13 And thou shalt make ^H6213 ouches ^H4865 of gold ^H2091 ;

14 And two ^H8147 chains ^H8333 of pure ^H2889 ^AMS gold ^H2091 ^NMS at the ends ^H4020 ; of wreathen ^H5688 work ^H4639 ^M-CMS shalt thou make ^H6213 ^VQY2MS them , and fasten ^H5414 the wreathen ^H5688 chains ^H8333 to ^H5921 ^PREP the ouches ^H4865 .

15 And thou shalt make ^H6213 the breastplate ^H2833 of judgment ^H4941 ^NMS with cunning ^H2803 work ^H4639 ^M-CMS ; after the work ^H4639 of the ephod ^H646 thou shalt make ^H6213 it ; of gold ^H2091 ^NMS , of blue ^H8504 , and of purple ^H713 , and of scarlet ^H8438 , and of fine twined linen ^H8336 , shalt thou make ^H6213 ^VQY2MS it .

16 Foursquare ^H7251 it shall be ^H1961 ^VQY3MS being doubled ^H3717 ; a span ^H2239 shall be the length ^H753 thereof , and a span ^H2239 shall be the breadth ^H7341 thereof .

17 And thou shalt set ^H4390 in it settings ^H4396 of stones ^H68 ^GFS , even four ^H702 ^MMS rows ^H2905 of stones ^H68 ^GFS : the first row ^H2905 shall be a sardius ^H124 , a topaz ^H6357 , and a carbuncle ^H1304 : this shall be the first ^H259 row ^H2905 .

18 And the second ^H8145 ^D-ONUM row ^H2905 shall be an emerald ^H5306 , a sapphire ^H5601 ^NMS , and a diamond ^H3095 .

19 And the third ^H7992 ^D-ONUM row ^H2905 a ligure ^H3958 , an agate ^H7618 , and an amethyst ^H306 .

20 And the fourth ^H7243 row ^H2905 a beryl ^H8658 , and an onyx ^H7718 , and a jasper ^H3471 : they shall be ^H1961 ^VQY3MP set ^H7660 in gold ^H2091 ^NMS in their enclosings ^H4396 .

21 And the stones ^H68 shall be ^H1961 with ^H5921 ^PREP the names ^H8034 of the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 , twelve ^H8147 ^MFS , according to ^H5921 ^PREP their names ^H8034 , like the engravings ^H6603 of a signet ^H2368 ^NMS ; every one ^H376 ^NMS with ^H5921 ^PREP his name ^H8034 ^CMS-3MS shall they be ^H1961 according to the twelve ^H8147 tribes ^H7626 .

22 And thou shalt make ^H6213 upon ^H5921 ^PREP the breastplate ^H2833 chains ^H8331 at the ends ^H1383 of wreathen ^H5688 work ^H4639 ^M-CMS of pure ^H2889 gold ^H2091 ^NMS .

23 And thou shalt make ^H6213 upon ^H5921 ^PREP the breastplate ^H2833 two ^H8147 ^ONUM rings ^H2885 of gold ^H2091 ^NMS , and shalt put ^H5414 the two ^H8147 ^ONUM rings ^H2885 on ^H5921 ^PREP the two ^H8147 ^ONUM ends ^H7098 ^CFP of the breastplate ^H2833 .

24 And thou shalt put ^H5414 the two ^H8147 ^ONUM wreathen ^H5688 chains of gold ^H2091 in ^H5921 ^PREP the two ^H8147 ^ONUM rings ^H2885 which are on ^H413 ^PREP the ends ^H7098 ^CFP of the breastplate ^H2833 .

25 And the other two ^H8147 ^ONUM ends ^H7098 ^CFP of the two ^H8147 ^ONUM wreathen ^H5688 chains thou shalt fasten ^H5414 ^VQY2MS in ^H5921 ^PREP the two ^H8147 ^ONUM ouches ^H4865 , and put ^H5414 them on ^H5921 ^PREP the shoulder pieces ^H3802 of the ephod ^H646 before ^H413 ^PREP 6 ^H6440 ^PREP it .

26 And thou shalt make ^H6213 two ^H8147 ^ONUM rings ^H2885 of gold ^H2091 ^NMS , and thou shalt put ^H7760 them upon ^H5921 ^PREP the two ^H8147 ^ONUM ends ^H7098 ^CFP of the breastplate ^H2833 in ^H5921 ^PREP the border ^H8193 thereof , which ^H834 ^RPRO is in ^H413 ^PREP the side ^H5676 of the ephod ^H646 inward ^H1004 .

27 And two ^H8147 ^ONUM other rings ^H2885 of gold ^H2091 ^NMS thou shalt make ^H6213 , and shalt put ^H5414 them on ^H5921 ^PREP the two ^H8147 ^ONUM sides ^H3802 of the ephod ^H646 underneath ^H4295 , toward ^H4136 the forepart ^H6440 ^CMP-3MS thereof , over against ^H5980 the other coupling ^H4225 thereof , above ^H4605 the curious girdle ^H2805 of the ephod ^H646 .

28 And they shall bind ^H7405 the breastplate ^H2833 by the rings ^H2885 thereof unto ^H413 ^PREP the rings ^H2885 of the ephod ^H646 with a lace ^H6616 of blue ^H8504 , that it may be ^H1961 ^L-VQFC above ^H5921 ^PREP the curious girdle ^H2805 of the ephod ^H646 , and that the breastplate ^H2833 be not ^H3808 ^W-NPAR loosed ^H2118 from ^PREP the ephod ^H646 .

29 And Aaron ^H175 shall bear ^H5375 the names ^H8034 of the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 in the breastplate ^H2833 of judgment ^H4941 upon ^H5921 ^PREP his heart ^H3820 ^CMS-3MS , when he goeth in ^H935 unto ^H413 ^PREP the holy ^H6944 place , for a memorial ^H2146 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS continually ^H8548 .

33 And beneath upon ^H5921 ^PREP the hem ^H7757 of it thou shalt make ^H6213 pomegranates ^H7416 of blue ^H8504 , and of purple ^H713 , and of scarlet ^H8438 , round about ^H5439 ^ADV the hem ^H7757 thereof ; and bells ^H6472 of gold ^H2091 ^NMS between ^H8432 them round about ^H5439 :

34 A golden ^H2091 ^NMS bell ^H6472 and a pomegranate ^H7416 , a golden ^H2091 ^NMS bell ^H6472 and a pomegranate ^H7416 , upon ^H5921 ^PREP the hem ^H7757 of the robe ^H4598 round about ^H5439 .

35 And it shall be ^H1961 ^W-VQQ3MS upon ^H5921 ^PREP Aaron ^H175 to minister ^H8334 : and his sound ^H6963 shall be heard ^H8085 when he goeth in ^H935 unto ^H413 ^PREP the holy ^H6944 place before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS , and when he cometh out ^H3318 , that he die ^H4191 not ^H3808 ^W-NPAR .

36 And thou shalt make ^H6213 a plate ^H6731 of pure ^H2889 ^AMS gold ^H2091 ^NMS , and grave ^H6605 upon ^H5921 ^PREP-3MS it , like the engravings ^H6603 of a signet ^H2368 , HOLINESS ^H6944 TO THE LORD ^H3068 ^L-NAME-4MS .

37 And thou shalt put ^H7760 it on ^H5921 ^PREP a blue ^H8504 lace ^H6616 , that it may be ^H1961 ^W-VQQ3MS upon ^H5921 ^PREP the miter ^H4701 ; upon ^H413 ^PREP the forefront ^H4136 of the miter ^H4701 it shall be ^H1961 ^W-VQQ3MS .

38 And it shall be ^H1961 ^W-VQQ3MS upon ^H5921 ^PREP Aaron ^H175 \'s forehead ^H4696 , that Aaron ^H175 may bear ^H5375 the iniquity ^H5771 of the holy things ^H6944 , which ^H834 ^RPRO the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 shall hallow ^H6942 in all ^H3605 their holy ^H6944 gifts ^H4979 ; and it shall be ^H1961 ^W-VQQ3MS always ^H8548 upon ^H5921 ^PREP his forehead ^H4696 , that they may be accepted ^H7522 before ^H6440 ^L-CMP the LORD ^H3068 ^NAME-4MS .

39 And thou shalt embroider ^H7660 the coat ^H3801 of fine linen ^H8336 , and thou shalt make ^H6213 the miter ^H4701 of fine linen ^H8336 , and thou shalt make ^H6213 ^VQY2MS the girdle ^H73 of needlework ^H4639 ^M-CMS .

40 And for Aaron ^H175 \'s sons ^H1121 thou shalt make ^H6213 ^VQY2MS coats ^H3801 , and thou shalt make ^H6213 for them girdles ^H73 , and bonnets ^H4021 shalt thou make ^H6213 ^VQY2MS for them , for glory ^H3519 and for beauty ^H8597 .

41 And thou shalt put them upon ^H3847 Aaron ^H175 thy brother ^H251 ^CMS-2MS , and his sons ^H1121 ^CMP-3MS with ^H854 him ; and shalt anoint ^H4886 them , and consecrate ^H4390 them , and sanctify ^H6942 them , that they may minister unto me in the priest\'s office ^H3547 .

42 And thou shalt make ^H6213 them linen ^H906 breeches ^H4370 to cover ^H3680 their nakedness ^H1320 ^CMS ; from the loins ^H4975 even unto ^H5704 ^W-PREP the thighs ^H3409 they shall reach ^H1961 :

43 And they shall be ^H1961 ^W-VQQ3MS upon ^H5921 ^PREP Aaron ^H175 , and upon ^H5921 ^PREP his sons ^H1121 ^CMP-3MS , when they come in ^H935 unto ^H413 ^PREP the tabernacle ^H168 ^NMS of the congregation ^H4150 ^NMS , or ^H176 ^CONJ when they come near ^H5066 unto ^H413 ^PREP the altar ^H4196 ^D-NMS to minister ^H8334 in the holy ^H6944 place ; that they bear ^H5375 ^VQY3MP not ^H3808 ^W-NPAR iniquity ^H5771 ^NMS , and die ^H4191 : it shall be a statute ^H2708 forever ^H5769 ^NMS unto him and his seed ^H2233 after ^H310 him .
