NET That night the LORD said to him, "Take the bull from your father's herd, as well as a second bull, one that is seven years old. Pull down your father's Baal altar and cut down the nearby Asherah pole.
ERVEN That same night the Lord spoke to Gideon and said, "Take the full-grown bull that belongs to your father, the one that is seven years old. Your father has an altar to the false god Baal. Also beside the altar a wooden pole was made to honor the false goddess Asherah.
