Ezekiel 9 (AKJV) American King James Version

1 He cried also in my ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lies toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar.
3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side;
4 And the LORD said to him, Go through the middle of the city, through the middle of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the middle thereof.
5 And to the others he said in my hearing, Go you after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have you pity:
6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man on whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
7 And he said to them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go you forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell on my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your fury on Jerusalem?
9 Then said he to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD has forsaken the earth, and the LORD sees not.
10 And as for me also, my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way on their head.
11 And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as you have commanded me.

2 And , behold H2009 IJEC , six H8337 men H376 NMP came H935 from the way H1870 of the higher H5945 gate H8179 NMS , which H834 RPRO lieth H6437 toward the north H6828 , and every man H376 W-NMS a slaughter H4660 weapon H3627 CMS in his hand H3027 B-CFS-3MS ; and one H259 MMS man H376 W-NMS among H8432 them was clothed H3847 with linen H906 , with a writer H5608 \'s inkhorn H7083 by his side H4975 : and they went in H935 W-VQY3MP , and stood H5975 beside H681 the brazen H5178 altar H4196 .
3 And the glory H3519 of the God H430 CDP of Israel H3478 was gone up H5927 from M-PREP the cherub H3742 , whereupon H834 RPRO he was H1961 VQQ3MS , to H413 PREP the threshold H4670 of the house H1004 . And he called H7121 W-VQY3MS to H413 PREP the man H376 D-NMS clothed H3847 with linen H906 , which H834 RPRO had the writer H5608 \'s inkhorn H7083 by his side H4975 ;
4 And the LORD H3068 EDS said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 him , Go through H5674 the midst H8432 B-NMS of the city H5892 D-GFS , through the midst H8432 B-NMS of Jerusalem H3389 , and set H8427 a mark H8420 upon H5921 PREP the foreheads H4696 of the men H376 that sigh H584 and that cry H602 for H5921 PREP all H3605 NMS the abominations H8441 that be done H6213 in the midst H8432 B-NMS thereof .
5 And to the others H428 he said H559 VQQ3MS in mine hearing H241 , Go H5674 ye after H310 PREP-3MS him through the city H5892 BD-NFS , and smite H5221 : let not H408 W-NPAR your eye H5869 spare H2347 , neither H408 W-NPAR have ye pity H2550 :
6 Slay H2026 utterly H4889 old H2205 PFS and young H970 , both maids H1330 , and little children H2945 , and women H802 : but come not near H5066 any H3605 NMS man H376 NMS upon H5921 PREP-3MS whom H834 RPRO is the mark H8420 ; and begin H2490 at my sanctuary H4720 . Then they began H2490 at the ancient H2205 men H376 NMS which H834 RPRO were before H6440 L-CMP the house H1004 .
7 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-3MP them , Defile H2930 the house H1004 D-NMS , and fill H4390 the courts H2691 with the slain H2491 NMP : go ye forth H3318 . And they went forth H3318 , and slew H5221 in the city H5892 .
8 And it came to pass H1961 W-VPY3MS , while they were slaying H5221 them , and I H589 PPRO-1MS was left H7604 , that I fell H5307 upon H5921 PREP my face H6440 NMP-1MS , and cried H2199 , and said H559 , Ah H162 Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 ! wilt thou H859 PPRO-2MS destroy H7843 all H3605 NMS the residue H7611 of Israel H3478 in thy pouring out H8210 of thy fury H2534 upon H5921 PREP Jerusalem H3389 ?
9 Then said H559 W-VQY3MS he unto H413 PREP-1MS me , The iniquity H5771 of the house H1004 of Israel H3478 and Judah H3063 is exceeding H3966 great H1419 AMS , and the land H776 D-GFS is full H4390 W-VNY3FS of blood H1818 , and the city H5892 full H4390 VQQ3FS of perverseness H4297 : for H3588 CONJ they say H559 W-VQY3MS , The LORD H3068 EDS hath forsaken H5800 VQQ3MS the earth H776 D-GFS , and the LORD H3068 EDS seeth H7200 not H369 W-NPAR .
10 And as for me H589 PPRO-1MS also H1571 W-CONJ , mine eye H5869 CMS-1MS shall not H3808 NADV spare H2347 , neither H3808 W-NADV will I have pity H2550 , but I will recompense H5414 their way H1870 CMS-3MP upon their head H7218 .
11 And , behold H2009 IJEC , the man H376 D-NMS clothed H3847 with linen H906 , which H834 RPRO had the inkhorn H7083 by his side H4975 , reported H7725 VHPMS the matter H1697 VQPMS , saying H559 L-VQFC , I have done H6213 VQQ1MS as thou hast commanded H6680 me .
