Ezekiel 4:11 (KJV) King James Version

1 Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
2 And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.
3 Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
4 Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
5 For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
7 Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
9 Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.
10 And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
11 Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
13 And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.
14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
15 Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow’s dung for man’s dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.
16 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:
17 That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.

3 Moreover take H3947 VQI2MS thou H859 W-PPRO-2MS unto thee an iron H1270 NMS pan H4227 , and set H5414 it for a wall H7023 of iron H1270 NMS between H996 W-PREP thee and the city H5892 D-GFS : and set H3559 thy face H6440 CMP-2MS against H413 PREP-3FS it , and it shall be H1961 W-VQQ3FS besieged H4692 , and thou shalt lay siege H6696 against H5921 PREP-3FS it . This H1931 PPRO-3FS shall be a sign H226 NMS to the house H1004 of Israel H3478 LMS .
4 Lie H7901 thou H859 W-PPRO-2MS also upon H5921 PREP thy left H8042 side H6654 , and lay H7760 the iniquity H5771 of the house H1004 of Israel H3478 upon H5921 PREP it : according to the number H4557 CMS of the days H3117 D-NMP that H834 RPRO thou shalt lie H7901 upon H5921 PREP it thou shalt bear H5375 VQY2MS their iniquity H5771 .
5 For I H589 W-PPRO-1MS have laid H5414 upon thee the years H8141 of their iniquity H5771 , according to the number H4557 of the days H3117 NUM-MS , three H7969 BFS hundred H3967 BFP and ninety H8673 MMP days H3117 NMS : so shalt thou bear H5375 the iniquity H5771 of the house H1004 of Israel H3478 LMS .
6 And when thou hast accomplished H3615 them H428 PMP , lie H7901 again H8145 CFS on H5921 PREP thy right H3233 side H6654 , and thou shalt bear H5375 the iniquity H5771 of the house H1004 CMS of Judah H3063 forty H705 MMP days H3117 NMS : I have appointed H5414 thee each day for a year H3117 NMS .
7 Therefore thou shalt set H3559 VHY3FS thy face H6440 CMP-2MS toward H413 W-PREP the siege H4692 of Jerusalem H3389 , and thine arm H2220 shall be uncovered H2834 , and thou shalt prophesy H5012 against H5921 it .
8 And , behold H2009 IJEC , I will lay H5414 VQQ1MS bands H5688 upon H5921 PREP-2MS thee , and thou shalt not H3808 W-NPAR turn H2015 thee from one side H6654 to H413 PREP another H6654 , till H5704 PREP thou hast ended H3615 the days H3117 CMP of thy siege H4692 .
9 Take H3947 VQI2MS thou H859 PPRO-2FS also unto thee wheat H2406 , and barley H8184 , and beans H6321 , and lentils H5742 , and millet H1764 , and fitches H3698 , and put H5414 them in one H259 MMS vessel H3627 , and make H6213 thee bread H3899 thereof , according to the number H4557 CMS of the days H3117 NUM-MS that H834 RPRO thou H859 PPRO-2MS shalt lie H7901 upon H5921 PREP thy side H6654 , three H7969 BFS hundred H3967 BFP and ninety H8673 MMP days H3117 NMS shalt thou eat H398 thereof .
10 And thy meat H3978 which H834 RPRO thou shalt eat H398 shall be by weight H4946 , twenty H6242 shekels H8255 a day H3117 : from time H6256 to H5704 PREP time H6256 NMS shalt thou eat H398 it .
11 Thou shalt drink H8354 also water H4325 W-NMD by measure H4884 , the sixth part H8345 of a hin H1969 : from time H6256 to H5704 PREP time H6256 NMS shalt thou drink H8354 .
12 And thou shalt eat H398 VQY2MS-3FS it as barley H8184 cakes H5692 , and thou shalt bake H5746 it H1931 with dung H1561 that cometh out H6627 of man H120 D-NMS , in their sight H5869 L-CMD-3MP .
13 And the LORD H3068 EDS said H559 W-VQY3MS , Even thus H3602 ADV shall the children H1121 of Israel H3478 eat H398 their defiled H2931 bread H3899 among the Gentiles H1471 , whither H834 RPRO I will drive H5080 them .
14 Then said H559 W-VQY1MS I , Ah H162 Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 ! behold H2009 IJEC , my soul H5315 CFS-1MS hath not H3808 NADV been polluted H2930 : for from my youth H5271 M-CMP-1MS up even till H5704 W-PREP now H6258 ADV have I not H3808 ADV eaten H398 VQQ1MS of that which dieth of itself H5038 , or is torn in pieces H2966 ; neither H3808 W-NADV came H935 there abominable H6292 flesh H1320 CMS into my mouth H6310 B-CMS .
15 Then he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-1MS me , Lo H7200 VQI2MS , I have given H5414 thee cow H1241 D-NMS \'s dung H6832 for H8478 NMS man H120 D-NMS \'s dung H1561 , and thou shalt prepare H6213 thy bread H3899 therewith H5921 PREP-3MP .
16 Moreover he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-1MS me , Son H1121 of man H120 NMS , behold H2009 , I will break H7665 the staff H4294 of bread H3899 NMS in Jerusalem H3389 : and they shall eat H398 bread H3899 NMS by weight H4948 , and with care H1674 ; and they shall drink H8354 VQY3MP water H4325 W-NMD by measure H4884 , and with astonishment H8078 :
17 That H4616 L-CONJ they may want H2637 bread H3899 NMS and water H4325 , and be astonished H8074 one H376 NMS with another H251 , and consume away H4743 for their iniquity H5771 .
