1 To the chief Musician H5329 , A Psalm H4210 for the sons H1121 L-CMP of Korah H7141 . Hear H8085 VQI2MP this H2063 DPRO , all H3605 NMS ye people H5971 ; give ear H238 VHI2MP , all H3605 NMS ye inhabitants H3427 of the world H2465 :
2 Both H1571 CONJ low H120 NMS and H1571 CONJ high H376 NMS , rich H6223 AMS and poor H34 , together H3162 ADV .
3 My mouth H6310 shall speak H1696 VPY3MS of wisdom H2454 NFP ; and the meditation H1900 of my heart H3820 NMS-1MS shall be of understanding H8394 .
4 I will incline H5186 mine ear H241 CFS-1MS to a parable H4912 : I will open H6605 VQY1MS my dark saying H2420 upon the harp H3658 .
5 Wherefore H4100 L-IPRO should I fear H3372 in the days H3117 B-CMP of evil H7451 AMS , when the iniquity H5771 of my heels H6119 shall compass me about H5437 ?
6 They that trust H982 in H5921 PREP their wealth H2428 , and boast themselves H1984 in the multitude H7230 of their riches H6239 ;
7 None H3808 NADV of them can by any means H6299 redeem H6299 his brother H251 NMS , nor H3808 NADV give H5414 VHFA to God H430 a ransom H3724 for him :
8 (For the redemption H6306 of their soul H5315 CFS-3MP is precious H3365 , and it ceaseth H2308 forever H5769 : )
9 That he should still H5750 ADV live H2421 forever H5331 L-NMS , and not H3808 NADV see H7200 VQY3MS corruption H7845 .
10 For H3588 CONJ he seeth H7200 VQY3MS that wise men H2450 AMP die H4191 VQY3MP , likewise H3162 ADV the fool H3684 NMS and the brutish person H1198 perish H6 VQY3MP , and leave H5800 their wealth H2428 CMS-3MP to others H312 .
11 Their inward thought H7130 is , that their houses H1004 shall continue forever H5769 , and their dwelling places H4908 to all generations H1755 L-NMS ; they call H712 their lands H127 after their own names H8034 .
12 Nevertheless man H120 W-NMS being in honor H3366 abideth H3885 VQY3MS not H1077 ADV : he is like H4911 the beasts H929 that perish H1820 .
13 This H2088 DPRO their way H1870 CMS-3MP is their folly H3689 : yet their posterity H310 approve H7521 their sayings H6310 B-CMS-3MP . Selah H5542 .
14 Like sheep H6629 they are laid H8371 in the grave H7585 ; death H4194 NMS shall feed H7462 on them ; and the upright H3477 AMP shall have dominion H7287 over them in the morning H1242 ; and their beauty H6697 shall consume H1086 in the grave H7585 NMS from their dwelling H2073 .
15 But H389 ADV God H430 EDP will redeem H6299 my soul H5315 CFS-1MS from the power H3027 of the grave H7585 NMS : for H3588 CONJ he shall receive H3947 me . Selah H5542 .
16 Be not H408 NPAR thou afraid H3372 when H3588 CONJ one H376 NMS is made rich H6238 , when H3588 CONJ the glory H3519 of his house H1004 CMS-3MS is increased H7235 VQQ3MS ;
17 For when H3588 CONJ he dieth H4194 he shall carry H3947 nothing H3808 NADV away : his glory H3519 shall not H3808 NADV descend H3381 after H310 PREP-3MS him .
18 Though H3588 CONJ while he lived H2416 he blessed H1288 his soul H5315 NMS-3MS : and men will praise H3034 thee , when H3588 CONJ thou doest well H3190 VHY2MS to thyself .
19 He shall go H935 VQY2MS to H5704 PREP the generation H1755 of his fathers H1 ; they shall never H5704 PREP see H7200 VQY3MP light H216 NMS .
20 Man H120 NMS that is in honor H3366 , and understandeth H995 VQY3MS not H3808 W-NADV , is like H4911 the beasts H929 that perish H1820 .
