2 So I got ^H7069 a girdle ^H232 according to the word ^H1697 ^K-NMS of the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS , and put ^H7760 it on ^H5921 ^PREP my loins ^H4975 .

3 And the word ^H1697 ^NMS of the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS came ^H1961 ^W-VQY3MS unto ^H413 ^PREP-1MS me the second time ^H8145 ^CFS , saying ^H559 ^L-VQFC ,

4 Take ^H3947 ^VQI2MS the girdle ^H232 that ^H834 ^RPRO thou hast got ^H7069 , which ^H834 ^RPRO is upon ^H5921 ^PREP thy loins ^H4975 , and arise ^H6965 , go ^H1980 ^VQI2MS to Euphrates ^H6578 , and hide ^H2934 it there ^H8033 ^ADV in a hole ^H5357 of the rock ^H5553 .

5 So I went ^H1980 , and hid ^H2934 it by Euphrates ^H6578 , as ^H834 ^K-RPRO the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS commanded ^H6680 ^VPQ3MS me .

6 And it came to pass ^H1961 ^W-VQY3MS after ^H7093 ^M-CMS many ^H7227 ^AMP days ^H3117 ^NMP , that the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS said ^H559 ^W-VQY3MS unto ^H413 ^PREP-1MS me , Arise ^H6965 ^VQI2MS , go ^H1980 ^VQI2MS to Euphrates ^H6578 , and take ^H3947 the girdle ^H232 from thence ^H8033 ^M-ADV , which ^H834 ^RPRO I commanded ^H6680 ^VPQ1MS-2MS thee to hide ^H2934 there ^H8033 ^ADV .

7 Then I went ^H1980 to Euphrates ^H6578 , and digged ^H2658 , and took ^H3947 the girdle ^H232 from ^H4480 ^PREP the place ^H4725 ^D-NMS where ^H834 ^RPRO I had hid ^H2934 it : and , behold ^H2009 ^IJEC , the girdle ^H232 was marred ^H7843 , it was profitable ^H6743 for nothing ^H3808 ^NADV .

8 Then the word ^H1697 ^NMS of the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS came ^H1961 ^W-VQY3MS unto ^H413 ^PREP-1MS me , saying ^H559 ^L-VQFC ,

9 Thus ^H3541 saith ^H559 ^VQQ3MS the LORD ^H3068 ^EDS , After this manner ^H3602 ^ADV will I mar ^H7843 the pride ^H1347 ^CMS of Judah ^H3063 , and the great ^H7227 pride ^H1347 ^CMS of Jerusalem ^H3389 .

10 This ^H2088 ^D-PMS evil ^H7451 ^D-AMS people ^H5971 , which refuse ^H3987 to hear ^H8085 my words ^H1697 ^CMP-1MS , which walk ^H1980 in the imagination ^H8307 ^B-CFP of their heart ^H3820 ^CMS-3MP , and walk ^H1980 ^W-VQY3MP after ^H310 ^PREP other ^H312 ^AMP gods ^H430 ^EDP , to serve ^H5647 them , and to worship ^H7812 them , shall even be ^H1961 ^W-VQI3MS as this ^H2088 ^D-PMS girdle ^H232 , which ^H834 ^RPRO is good ^H6743 for nothing ^H3808 ^NADV .
