1 ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു വിവാഹം ചെയ്തശേഷം അവളിൽ ദൂഷ്യമായ വല്ലതും കണ്ടിട്ടു അവന്നു അവളോടു അനിഷ്ടം തോന്നിയാൽ ഒരു ഉപേക്ഷണപത്രം എഴുതി കയ്യിൽ കൊടുത്തു അവളെ വീട്ടിൽനിന്നു അയക്കേണം.
2 അവന്റെ വീട്ടിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം അവൾ പോയി മറ്റൊരു പുരുഷന്നു ഭാര്യയായി ഇരിക്കാം.
3 എന്നാൽ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഭർത്താവു അവളെ വെറുത്തു ഒരു ഉപേക്ഷണപത്രം എഴുതി കയ്യിൽ കൊടുത്തു അവളെ വീട്ടിൽനിന്നു അയക്കയോ അവളെ ഭാര്യയായിട്ടു എടുത്ത രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഭർത്താവു മരിച്ചുപോകയോ ചെയ്താൽ
4 അവളെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച മുമ്പിലത്തെ ഭർത്താവിന്നു അവൾ അശുദ്ധയായശേഷം അവളെ പിന്നെയും ഭാര്യയായി പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൂടാ; അതു യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ അറെപ്പാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു അവകാശമായി തരുന്ന ദേശം നീ പാപംകൊണ്ടു മലിനമാക്കരുതു.
5 ഒരു പുരുഷൻ പുതുതായി ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോകരുതു; അവന്റെമേൽ യാതൊരു ഭാരവും വെക്കരുതു; അവൻ ഒരു സംവത്സരത്തേക്കു വീട്ടിൽ സ്വതന്ത്രനായിരുന്നു താൻ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ച ഭാര്യയെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കേണം.
6 തിരികല്ലാകട്ടെ അതിന്റെ മേൽക്കല്ലാകട്ടെ ആരും പണയം വാങ്ങരുതു; അതു ജീവനെ പണയം വാങ്ങുകയല്ലോ.
7 ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളിൽ ഒരുത്തനെ മോഷ്ടിച്ചു അവനോടു കാഠിന്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കയോ അവനെ വിലെക്കു വിൽക്കയോ ചെയ്യുന്നതു കണ്ടാൽ മോഷ്ടാവു മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ദോഷം നീക്കിക്കളയേണം.
8 കുഷ്ഠരോഗത്തിന്റെ ബാധാകാര്യത്തിൽ ഏറ്റവും സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരിപ്പാനും ലേവ്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചു തരുന്നതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്‍വാനും ജാഗ്രതയായിരിക്കേണം; ഞാൻ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യേണം.
9 നിങ്ങൾ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ വഴിയിൽ വെച്ചു മിർയ്യാമിനോടു ചെയ്തതു ഓർത്തുകൊൾക.
10 കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു എന്തെങ്കിലും വായിപ്പകൊടുക്കുമ്പോൾ അവന്റെ പണയം വാങ്ങുവാൻ വീട്ടിന്നകത്തു കടക്കരുതു.
11 നീ പുറത്തു നിൽക്കേണം; വായിപ്പവാങ്ങിയവൻ പണയം നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.
12 അവൻ ദരിദ്രനാകുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ നീ അവന്റെ പണയം കൈവശം വെച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ഉറങ്ങരുതു.
13 അവൻ തന്റെ വസ്ത്രം പുതെച്ചു ഉറങ്ങി നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സൂര്യൻ അസ്തമിക്കുമ്പോൾ പണയം നീ അവന്നു മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണം; അതു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിനക്കു നീതിയായിരിക്കും.
14 നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരിലോ നിന്റെ ദേശത്തു നിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലുള്ള പരദേശികളിലോ ദരിദ്രനും അഗതിയുമായ കൂലിക്കാരനെ നീ പീഡിപ്പിക്കരുതു.
15 അവന്റെ കൂലി അന്നേക്കന്നു കൊടുക്കേണം; സൂര്യൻ അതിന്മേൽ അസ്തമിക്കരുതു; അവൻ ദരിദ്രനും അതിന്നായി ആശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവനുമല്ലോ. അവൻ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിപ്പാനും അതു നിനക്കു പാപമായിത്തീരുവാനും ഇടവരുത്തരുതു.
16 മക്കൾക്കു പകരം അപ്പന്മാരും അപ്പന്മാർക്കു പകരം മക്കളും മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കരുതു; താന്താന്റെ പാപത്തിന്നു താന്താൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.
17 പരദേശിയുടെയും അനാഥന്റെയും ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയരുതു; വിധവയുടെ വസ്ത്രം പണയം വാങ്ങുകയുമരുതു.
18 നീ മിസ്രയീമിൽ അടിമയായിരുന്നു എന്നും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ അവിടെനിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുത്തു എന്നും ഓർക്കേണം; അതുകൊണ്ടാകുന്നു ഇക്കാര്യം ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതു.
19 നിന്റെ വയലിൽ വിളവു കൊയ്തിട്ടു ഒരു കറ്റ വയലിൽ മറന്നുപോന്നാൽ അതിനെ എടുപ്പാൻ മടങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്റെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തിയിലും നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതു പരദേശിക്കും അനാഥന്നും വിധവെക്കും ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.
20 ഒലിവുവൃക്ഷത്തിന്റെ ഫലം തല്ലുമ്പോൾ കൊമ്പു തപ്പിപ്പറിക്കരുതു; അതു പരദേശിക്കും അനാഥന്നും വിധവെക്കും ഇരിക്കട്ടെ.
21 മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിലെ പഴം അറുത്തെടുക്കുമ്പോൾ കാലാ പെറുക്കരുതു; അതു പരദേശിക്കും അനാഥന്നും വിധവെക്കും ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; നീ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു അടിമയായിരുന്നു എന്നു ഓർക്കേണം; അതുകൊണ്ടാകുന്നു ഞാൻ ഇക്കാര്യം നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതു.

2 And when she is departed H3318 out of his house H1004 , she may go H1980 and be H1961 W-VQQ3FS another H312 man H376 L-NMS \'s wife .
3 And if the latter H314 husband H376 D-NMS hate H8130 her , and write H3789 her a bill H5612 CMS of divorcement H3748 , and giveth H5414 W-VQQ3MS it in her hand H3027 , and sendeth H7971 her out of his house H1004 ; or H176 CONJ if H3588 CONJ the latter H314 husband H376 D-NMS die H4191 VQY3MS , which H834 RPRO took H3947 her to be his wife H802 ;
4 Her former H7223 husband H1167 , which H834 RPRO sent her away H7971 , may H3201 VQY3MS not H3808 NADV take H3947 her again H7725 to be H1961 his wife H802 L-NFS , after that PREP she is defiled H2930 ; for H3588 CONJ that H1931 PPRO-3FS is abomination H8441 before H6440 L-CMP the LORD H3068 EDS : and thou shalt not H3808 W-NADV cause the land H776 D-GFS to sin H2398 , which H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 CMP-2MS giveth H5414 VQPMS thee for an inheritance H5159 .
5 When H3588 CONJ a man H376 NMS hath taken H3947 a new H2319 wife H802 NFS , he shall not H3808 NADV go out H3318 VQY3MS to war H6635 , neither H3808 W-NADV shall he be charged H5674 VQY3MS with H5921 PREP-3MS any H3605 L-CMS business H1697 VQPMS : but he shall be H1961 VQY3MS free H5355 AMS at home H1004 L-CMS-3MS one H259 MFS year H8141 NFS , and shall cheer up H8055 his wife H802 CFS-3MS which H834 RPRO he hath taken H3947 .
6 No H3808 NADV man shall take H2254 the nether H7347 or the upper H7393 millstone H7347 to pledge H2254 : for H3588 CONJ he H1931 PPRO-3MS taketh H2254 a man\'s life H5315 GFS to pledge H2254 .
7 If H3588 CONJ a man H376 NMS be found H4672 stealing H1589 any H5315 GFS of his brethren H251 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 , and maketh merchandise H6014 of him , or selleth H4376 him ; then that H1931 D-PPRO-3MS thief H1590 shall die H4191 ; and thou shalt put evil away H1197 from among H7130 you .
8 Take heed H8104 VNI2MS in the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 , that thou observe H8104 L-VQFC diligently H3966 ADV , and do H6213 according to all H3605 K-NMS that H834 RPRO the priests H3548 the Levites H3881 shall teach H3384 you : as H834 RPRO I commanded H6680 them , so ye shall observe H8104 to do H6213 .
9 Remember H2142 what H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 CMP-2MS did H6213 VQQ3MS unto Miriam H4813 by the way H1870 , after that ye were come forth H3318 out of Egypt H4714 .
10 When H3588 CONJ thou dost lend H5383 thy brother H7453 any H3972 NMS thing H4859 , thou shalt not H3808 NADV go H935 into H413 PREP his house H1004 NMS-3MS to fetch H5670 his pledge H5667 .
11 Thou shalt stand H5975 abroad H2351 BD-NMS , and the man H376 to whom H834 RPRO thou H859 PPRO-2MS dost lend H5383 shall bring out H3318 the pledge H5667 abroad H2351 unto H413 PREP-2MS thee .
12 And if H518 W-PART the man H376 NMS be poor H6041 AMS , thou shalt not H3808 NADV sleep H7901 with his pledge H5667 :
13 In any case thou shalt deliver H7725 VHFA him the pledge H5667 again when the sun H8121 D-NMS goeth down H935 , that he may sleep H7901 in his own raiment H8008 , and bless H1288 thee : and it shall be H1961 VQY3FS righteousness H6666 NFS unto thee before H6440 L-CMP the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 .
14 Thou shalt not H3808 NADV oppress H6231 VQY2MS a hired servant H7916 AMS that is poor H6041 AMS and needy H34 W-AMS , whether he be of thy brethren H251 , or H176 CONJ of thy strangers H1616 that H834 RPRO are in thy land H776 within thy gates H8179 :
15 At his day H3117 thou shalt give H5414 him his hire H7939 , neither H3808 W-NPAR shall the sun H8121 D-NMS go down H935 VQY3FS upon H5921 PREP-3MS it ; for H3588 CONJ he H1931 PPRO-3MS is poor H6041 AMS , and setteth H5375 his heart H5315 NMS-3MS upon H413 PREP it : lest H3808 W-NPAR he cry H7121 VQY3MS against H5921 PREP-3MS thee unto H413 PREP the LORD H3068 EDS , and it be H1961 W-VQQ3MS sin H2399 unto thee .
16 The fathers H1 shall not H3808 ADV be put to death H4191 for H5921 PREP the children H1121 NMP , neither H3808 NADV shall the children H1121 be put to death H4191 for H5921 PREP the fathers H1 : every man H376 NMS shall be put to death H4191 for his own sin H2399 .
17 Thou shalt not H3808 NADV pervert H5186 the judgment H4941 CMS of the stranger H1616 NMS , nor of the fatherless H3490 NMS ; nor H3808 W-NADV take H2254 a widow H490 NFS \'s raiment H899 to pledge H2254 :
18 But thou shalt remember H2142 that H3588 CONJ thou wast H1961 VQQ2MS a bondman H5650 NMS in Egypt H4714 , and the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 CMP-2MS redeemed H6299 thee thence H8033 M-ADV : therefore H3651 ADV I H595 PPRO-1MS command H6680 thee to do H6213 L-VQFC this H2088 D-PMS thing H1697 D-NMS .
19 When H3588 CONJ thou cuttest down H7114 thine harvest H7105 in thy field H7704 , and hast forgot H7911 a sheaf H6016 in the field H7704 B-NMS , thou shalt not H3808 NADV go again H7725 VQY3FS to fetch H3947 it : it shall be H1961 VQY3MS for the stranger H1616 , for the fatherless H3490 , and for the widow H490 : that H4616 L-CONJ the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 CMP-2MS may bless H1288 thee in all H3605 the work H4639 M-CMS of thine hands H3027 .
20 When H3588 CONJ thou beatest H2251 thine olive tree H2132 , thou shalt not H3808 NADV go over the boughs H6286 again H310 : it shall be H1961 for the stranger H1616 , for the fatherless H3490 , and for the widow H490 .
21 When H3588 CONJ thou gatherest the grapes H1219 of thy vineyard H3754 , thou shalt not H3808 NADV glean H5953 it afterward H310 : it shall be H1961 for the stranger H1616 , for the fatherless H3490 , and for the widow H490 .
22 And thou shalt remember H2142 that H3588 CONJ thou wast H1961 VQQ2MS a bondman H5650 NMS in the land H776 B-GFS of Egypt H4714 : therefore H3651 ADV I H595 PPRO-1MS command H6680 thee to do H6213 L-VQFC this H2088 D-PMS thing H1697 D-NMS .
