9 മനുഷ്യർ അത്യുഷ്ണത്താൽ വെന്തുപോയി; ഈ ബാധകളുടെമേൽ അധികാരമുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ദുഷിച്ചതല്ലാതെ അവന്നു മഹത്വം കൊടുപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടില്ല.

10 അഞ്ചാമത്തവൻ തന്റെ കലശം മൃഗത്തിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്മേൽ ഒഴിച്ചു; അപ്പോൾ അതിന്റെ രാജ്യം ഇരുണ്ടുപോയി.

11 അവർ കഷ്ടതനിമിത്തം നാവു കടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു കഷ്ടങ്ങളും വ്രണങ്ങളും ഹേതുവാൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലെ ദൈവത്തെ ദുഷിച്ചതല്ലാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ വിട്ടു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടില്ല.

12 ആറാമത്തവൻ തന്റെ കലശം യൂഫ്രാത്തേസ് എന്ന മഹാനദിയിൽ ഒഴിച്ചു; കിഴക്കു നിന്നു വരുന്ന രാജാക്കന്മാർക്കു വഴി ഒരുങ്ങേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിലെ വെള്ളം വറ്റിപ്പോയി.

13 മഹാസർപ്പത്തിന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നും മൃഗത്തിന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നും കള്ളപ്രവാചകന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നും തവളയെപ്പോലെ മൂന്നു അശുദ്ധാത്മാക്കൾ പുറപ്പെടുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.

14 ഇവ സർവ്വഭൂതത്തിലും ഉള്ള രാജാക്കന്മാരെ സർവ്വശക്തനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹാദിവസത്തിലെ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു കൂട്ടിച്ചേർപ്പാൻ അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടു അവരുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു പറുപ്പെടുന്ന ഭൂതാത്മാക്കൾ തന്നേ. —

15 ഞാൻ കള്ളനെപ്പോലെ വരും; തന്റെ ലജ്ജകാണുമാറു നഗ്നനായി നടക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ തന്റെ ഉടുപ്പു സൂക്ഷിച്ചും ജാഗരിച്ചും കൊള്ളുന്നവൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ. —

16 അവ അവരെ എബ്രായഭാഷയിൽ ഹർമ്മഗെദ്ദോൻ എന്നു പേരുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തിൽ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

20 സകലദ്വീപും ഓടിപ്പോയി; മലകൾ കാണ്മാനില്ലാതെയായി.

21 താലന്തോളം ഘനമുള്ള കല്ലായി വലിയ കല്മഴ ആകാശത്തു നിന്നു മനുഷ്യരുടെ മേൽ പെയ്തു; കന്മഴയുടെ ബാധ ഏറ്റവും വലുതാകകൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യൻ ആ ബാധനിമിത്തം ദൈവത്തെ ദുഷിച്ചു.
