2 Chronicles 4:6 (RSV) Revised Standard Version

1 He made an altar of bronze, twenty cubits long, and twenty cubits wide, and ten cubits high.
2 Then he made the molten sea; it was round, ten cubits from brim to brim, and five cubits high, and a line of thirty cubits measured its circumference.
3 Under it were figures of gourds, for thirty cubits, compassing the sea round about; the gourds were in two rows, cast with it when it was cast.
4 It stood upon twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east; the sea was set upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
5 Its thickness was a handbreadth; and its brim was made like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily; it held over three thousand baths.
6 He also made ten lavers in which to wash, and set five on the south side, and five on the north side. In these they were to rinse off what was used for the burnt offering, and the sea was for the priests to wash in.
7 And he made ten golden lampstands as prescribed, and set them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.
8 He also made ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. And he made a hundred basins of gold.
9 He made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid their doors with bronze;
10 and he set the sea at the southeast corner of the house.
11 Huram also made the pots, the shovels, and the basins. So Huram finished the work that he did for King Solomon on the house of God:
12 the two pillars, the bowls, and the two capitals on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars;
13 and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were upon the pillars.
14 He made the stands also, and the lavers upon the stands,
15 and the one sea, and the twelve oxen underneath it.
16 The pots, the shovels, the forks, and all the equipment for these Huramabi made of burnished bronze for King Solomon for the house of the LORD.
17 In the plain of the Jordan the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredah.
18 Solomon made all these things in great quantities, so that the weight of the bronze was not ascertained.
19 So Solomon made all the things that were in the house of God: the golden altar, the tables for the bread of the Presence,
20 the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold to burn before the inner sanctuary, as prescribed;
21 the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of purest gold;
22 the snuffers, basins, dishes for incense, and firepans, of pure gold; and the sockets of the temple, for the inner doors to the most holy place and for the doors of the nave of the temple were of gold.

3 And under H8478 NMS it was the similitude H1823 of oxen H1241 , which did compass H5437 it round about H5439 ADV : ten H6235 MFS in a cubit H520 , compassing H5362 the sea H3220 D-NMS round about H5439 ADV . Two H8147 ONUM rows H2905 of oxen H1241 D-NMS were cast H3332 , when it was cast H4166 .
4 It stood H5975 upon H5921 PREP twelve H8147 oxen H1241 NMS , three H7969 NFS looking H6437 toward the north H6828 , and three H7969 NFS looking H6437 toward the west H3220 , and three H7969 NFS looking H6437 toward the south H5045 , and three H7969 NFS looking H6437 toward the east H4217 : and the sea H3220 was set above H4605 upon H5921 PREP them , and all H3605 W-CMS their hinder parts H268 were inward H1004 .
5 And the thickness H5672 of it was a handbreadth H2947 , and the brim H8193 of it like the work H4639 of the brim H8193 CFS of a cup H3563 , with flowers H6525 of lilies H7799 ; and it received H2388 VHPMS and held H3557 three H7969 BMS thousand H505 MMP baths H1324 .
6 He made H6213 W-VQY3MS also ten H6235 lavers H3595 , and put H5414 W-VQQ3MS five H2568 on the right hand H3225 , and five H2568 on the left H8040 , to wash H7364 in them : such things as they offered H4639 M-CMS for the burnt offering H5930 they washed H1740 in them ; but the sea H3220 was for the priests H3548 to wash H7364 in .
7 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS ten H6235 MFS candlesticks H4501 of gold H2091 according to their form H4941 , and set H5414 W-VQQ3MS them in the temple H1964 , five H2568 MFS on the right hand H3225 , and five H2568 on the left H8040 .
8 He made H6213 W-VQY3MS also ten H6235 tables H7979 , and placed H5117 them in the temple H1964 , five H2568 on the right side H3225 , and five H2568 on the left H8040 . And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS a hundred H3967 basins H4219 of gold H2091 NMS .
9 Furthermore he made H6213 W-VQY3MS the court H2691 of the priests H3548 , and the great H1419 D-AFS court H5835 , and doors H1817 for the court H5835 , and overlaid H6823 the doors H1817 of them with brass H5178 .
10 And he set H5414 VQQ3MS the sea H3220 D-NMS on the right H3233 side H3802 of the east end H6924 , over against H4136 the south H5045 .
11 And Huram H2361 made H6213 W-VQY3MS the pots H5518 , and the shovels H3257 , and the basins H4219 . And Huram H2361 finished the work H3615 W-VPY3MS that H834 RPRO he was to make H6213 W-VQY3MS for king H4428 Solomon H8010 MMS for the house H1004 B-CMS of God H430 ;
12 To wit , the two H8147 ONUM pillars H5982 , and the pommels H1543 , and the chapiters H3805 which were on H5921 PREP the top H7218 NMS of the two H8147 pillars H5982 , and the two H8147 MFD wreaths H7639 to cover H3680 the two H8147 ONUM pommels H1543 of the chapiters H3805 which H834 RPRO were on H5921 PREP the top H7218 NMS of the pillars H5982 ;
13 And four H702 MFS hundred H3967 BFP pomegranates H7416 on the two H8147 wreaths H7639 ; two H8147 ONUM rows H2905 of pomegranates H7416 on each H259 wreath H7639 , to cover H3680 the two H8147 ONUM pommels H1543 of the chapiters H3805 which H834 RPRO were upon H5921 PREP the pillars H5982 .
14 He made H6213 VQQ3MS also bases H4350 , and lavers H3595 made H6213 VQQ3MS he upon H5921 PREP the bases H4350 ;
15 One H259 MMS sea H3220 D-NMS , and twelve H8147 oxen H1241 D-NMS under H8478 it .
16 The pots H5518 also , and the shovels H3257 , and the fleshhooks H4207 , and all H3605 NMS their instruments H3627 , did Huram H2361 his father H1 CMS-3MS make H6213 VQQ3MS to king H4428 Solomon H8010 MMS for the house H1004 of the LORD H3068 EDS of bright H4838 brass H5178 CFS .
17 In the plain H3603 of Jordan H3383 D-EFS did the king H4428 D-NMS cast H3332 them , in the clay H4568 ground H127 D-NFS between H996 PREP Succoth H5523 and Zeredathah H6868 .
18 Thus Solomon H8010 MMS made H6213 W-VQY3MS all H3605 NMS these H428 D-DPRO-3MP vessels H3627 D-NMP in great H3966 ADV abundance H7230 LD-NMS : for H3588 CONJ the weight H4948 of the brass H5178 could not H3808 NADV be found out H2713 .
19 And Solomon H8010 MMS made H6213 W-VQY3MS all H3605 NMS the vessels H3627 D-NMP that H834 RPRO were for the house H1004 CMS of God H430 D-EDP , the golden H2091 altar H4196 also , and the tables H7979 whereon H5921 the shewbread H3899 NMS was set ;
20 Moreover the candlesticks H4501 with their lamps H5216 , that they should burn H1197 after the manner H4941 before H6440 L-CMP the oracle H1687 , of pure H5462 gold H2091 NMS ;
21 And the flowers H6525 , and the lamps H5216 , and the tongs H4457 , made he of gold H2091 NMS , and that H1931 PPRO-3MS perfect H4357 gold H2091 ;
22 And the snuffers H4212 , and the basins H4219 , and the spoons H3709 , and the censers H4289 , of pure H5462 VWPMS gold H2091 NMS : and the entry H6607 W-CMS of the house H1004 D-NMS , the inner H6442 doors H1817 thereof for the most holy H6944 place , and the doors H1817 of the house H1004 D-NMS of the temple H1964 , were of gold H2091 .
