Ezekiel 46 (RV) Revised Version

1 Thus saith the Lord GOD: The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath day it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
2 And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate; then he shall go forth: but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.
3 And the people of the land shall worship at the door of that gate before the LORD in the sabbaths and in the new moons.
4 And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer unto the LORD shall be in the sabbath day six lambs without blemish and a ram without blemish;
5 and the meal offering shall be an ephah for the ram, and the meal offering for the lambs as he is able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah.
6 And in the day of the new moon it shall be a young bullock without blemish; and six lambs, and a ram; they shall be without blemish:
7 and he shall prepare a meal offering, an ephah for the bullock, and an ephah for the ram, and for the lambs according as he is able, and an hin of oil to an ephah.
8 And when the prince shall enter, he shall go in by the way of the porch of the gate, and he shall go forth by the way thereof.
9 But when the people of the land shall come before the LORD in the appointed feasts, he that entereth by the way of the north gate to worship shall go forth by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth straight before him.
10 And the prince, when they go in, shall go in in the midst of them; and when they go forth, they shall go forth {cf15i together}.
11 And in the feasts and in the solemnities the meal offering shall be an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs as he is able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah.
12 And when the prince shall prepare a freewill offering, a burnt offering or peace offerings as a freewill offering unto the LORD, one shall open for him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he doth on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after his going forth one shall shut the gate.
13 And thou shalt prepare a lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering unto the LORD daily: morning by morning shalt thou prepare it.
14 And thou shalt prepare a meal offering with it morning by morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to moisten the fine flour; a meal offering unto the LORD continually by a perpetual ordinance;
15 Thus shall they prepare the lamb, and the meal offering, and the oil, morning by morning, for a continual burnt offering.
16 Thus saith the Lord GOD: If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, it is his inheritance, it shall belong to his sons; it is their possession by inheritance.
17 But if he give of his inheritance a gift to one of his servants, it shall be his to the year of liberty; then it shall return to the prince; but as for his inheritance, it shall be for his sons.
18 Moreover the prince shall not take of the people-s inheritance, to thrust them out of their possession; he shall give inheritance to his sons out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered every man from his possession.
19 Then he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers for the priests, which looked toward the north: and behold, there was a place on the hinder part westward.
20 And he said unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the guilt offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the meal offering; that they bring them not forth into the outer court, to sanctify the people.
21 Then he brought me forth into the outer court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and behold, in every corner of the court there was a court.
22 In the four corners of the court there were courts enclosed, forty {cf15i cubits} long and thirty broad: these four in the corners were of one measure.
23 And there was a row {cf15i of building} round about in them, round about the four, and it was made with boiling places under the rows round about.
24 Then said he unto me, These are the boiling houses, where the ministers of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people.
1 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 ; The gate H8179 NMS of the inner H6442 court H2691 that looketh H6437 toward the east H6921 NMP shall be H1961 VQY3MS shut H5462 VWPMS the six H8337 working H4639 days H3117 CMP ; but on the sabbath H3117 it shall be opened H6605 VNY3MS , and in the day H3117 of the new moon H2320 D-NMS it shall be opened H6605 VNY3MS .
2 And the prince H5387 shall enter H935 by the way H1870 NMS of the porch H197 of that gate H8179 without H2351 , and shall stand H5975 W-VQQ3MS by H5921 PREP the post H4201 of the gate H8179 , and the priests H3548 shall prepare H6213 W-VQQ3MP his burnt offering H5930 and his peace offerings H8002 , and he shall worship H7812 at H5921 PREP the threshold H4670 of the gate H8179 : then he shall go forth H3318 ; but the gate H8179 shall not H3808 ADV be shut H5462 until H5704 PREP the evening H6153 .
3 Likewise the people H5971 NMS of the land H776 D-GFS shall worship H7812 at the door H6607 CMS of this H1931 D-PPRO-3MS gate H8179 before H6440 L-CMP the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS in the sabbaths H7676 and in the new moons H2320 .
4 And the burnt offering H5930 that H834 RPRO the prince H5387 shall offer H7126 unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS in the sabbath H7676 day H3117 B-NMS shall be six H8337 lambs H3532 without blemish H8549 , and a ram H352 without blemish H8549 AMS .
5 And the meat offering H4503 shall be an ephah H374 for a ram H352 , and the meat offering H4503 NFS for the lambs H3532 as he shall be able to give H4991 , and a hin H1969 of oil H8081 to an ephah H374 .
6 And in the day H3117 of the new moon H2320 D-NMS it shall be a young H1121 bullock H6499 without blemish H8549 , and six H8337 W-BMS lambs H3532 , and a ram H352 : they shall be H1961 without blemish H8549 .
7 And he shall prepare H6213 VQY3MS a meat offering H4503 NFS , an ephah H374 for a bullock H6499 , and an ephah H374 for a ram H352 , and for the lambs H3532 according as H834 K-RPRO his hand H3027 CFS-3MS shall attain H5381 unto , and a hin H1969 of oil H8081 to an ephah H374 .
8 And when the prince H5387 shall enter H935 , he shall go in H935 VQY3MS by the way H1870 NMS of the porch H197 of that gate H8179 , and he shall go forth H3318 VQY3MS by the way H1870 NMS thereof .
9 But when the people H5971 NMS of the land H776 D-GFS shall come H935 before H6440 L-CMP the LORD H3068 EDS in the solemn feasts H4150 , he that entereth in H935 by the way H1870 NMS of the north H6828 NFS gate H8179 NMS to worship H7812 shall go out H3318 VQY3MS by the way H1870 NMS of the south H5045 gate H8179 NMS ; and he that entereth H935 by the way H1870 NMS of the south H5045 gate H8179 NMS shall go forth H3318 VQY3MS by the way H1870 NMS of the north H6828 gate H8179 NMS : he shall not H3808 NADV return H7725 VQY3MS by the way H1870 NMS of the gate H8179 whereby H834 RPRO he came in H935 VQPMS , but H3588 CONJ shall go forth H3318 over against H5227 it .
10 And the prince H5387 in the midst H8432 of them , when they go in H935 , shall go in H935 VQY3MS ; and when they go forth H3318 , shall go forth H3318 .
11 And in the feasts H2282 and in the solemnities H4150 the meat offering H4503 shall be H1961 VQY3FS an ephah H374 to a bullock H6499 , and an ephah H374 to a ram H352 , and to the lambs H3532 as he is able to give H4991 , and a hin H1969 of oil H8081 to an ephah H374 .
12 Now when H3588 the prince H5387 shall prepare H6213 W-VQQ3MS a voluntary H5071 burnt offering H5930 NFS or H176 CONJ peace offerings H8002 voluntarily H5071 unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS , one shall then open H6605 him the gate H8179 that looketh H6437 toward the east H6921 NMP , and he shall prepare H6213 W-VQQ3MS his burnt offering H5930 and his peace offerings H8002 , as H834 K-RPRO he did H6213 W-VQQ3MS on the sabbath H7676 day H3117 B-NMS : then he shall go forth H3318 ; and after H310 PREP his going forth H3318 one shall shut H5462 the gate H8179 .
13 Thou shalt daily H3117 prepare H6213 VQY2MS a burnt offering H5930 NFS unto the LORD H3068 of a lamb H3532 of the first H1121 year H8141 without blemish H8549 AMS : thou shalt prepare H6213 VQY2MS it every morning H1242 B-NMS .
14 And thou shalt prepare H6213 a meat offering H4503 for H5921 PREP-3MS it every morning H1242 B-NMS , the sixth part H8345 of an ephah H374 , and the third part H7992 of a hin H1969 of oil H8081 , to temper H7450 with the fine flour H5560 ; a meat offering H4503 NFS continually H8548 by a perpetual H5769 NMS ordinance H2708 CFP unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS .
15 Thus shall they prepare H6213 the lamb H3532 , and the meat offering H4503 , and the oil H8081 , every morning H1242 B-NMS for a continual H8548 burnt offering H5930 .
16 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 ; If H3588 CONJ the prince H5387 give H5414 VHFA a gift H4979 unto any H376 L-NMS of his sons H1121 , the inheritance H5159 thereof shall be H1961 VQY2MS his sons H1121 L-CMP-3MS \' ; it H1931 PPRO-3FS shall be their possession H272 by inheritance H5159 .
17 But if H3588 he give H5414 VHFA a gift H4979 of his inheritance H5159 to one H259 of his servants H5650 , then it shall be H1961 W-VQQ3FS his to H5704 PREP the year H8141 of liberty H1865 ; after it shall return H7725 to the prince H5387 : but H389 ADV his inheritance H5159 shall be H1961 VQY2MS his sons H1121 CMP-3MS \' for them .
18 Moreover the prince H5387 shall not H3808 W-NPAR take of the people\'s inheritance by oppression H3947 , to thrust them out H3238 of their possession H272 ; but he shall give his sons H1121 CMP-3MS inheritance H5157 out of his own possession H272 : that L-CONJ my people H5971 be not H3808 W-NPAR scattered H6327 every man H376 NMS from his possession H272 .
19 After he brought H935 me through the entry H3996 , which H834 RPRO was at H5921 PREP the side H3802 of the gate H8179 , into H413 PREP the holy H6944 chambers H3957 of H413 PREP the priests H3548 , which looked H6437 toward the north H6828 : and , behold H2009 IJEC , there H8033 ADV was a place H4725 NUM-MS on the two sides H3411 westward H3220 .
20 Then said H559 W-VQY3MS he unto H413 PREP me , This H2088 DPRO is the place H4725 D-NMS where H834 RPRO the priests H3548 shall boil H1310 the trespass offering H817 and the sin offering H2403 , where H834 RPRO they shall bake H644 the meat offering H4503 ; that they bear them not out H3318 VHQ3MS into H413 PREP the utter H2435 court H2691 , to sanctify H6942 the people H5971 D-NMS .
21 Then he brought me forth H3318 into H413 PREP the utter H2435 court H2691 , and caused me to pass H5674 by H413 PREP the four H702 corners H4740 of the court H2691 ; and , behold H2009 IJEC , in every corner of the court H4740 there was a court H2691 .
22 In the four H702 corners H4740 of the court H2691 there were courts H2691 joined H7000 of forty H705 MMP cubits long H753 CMS and thirty H7970 W-MMP broad H7341 : these four H702 corners H7106 were of one H259 OFS measure H4060 .
23 And there was a row H2905 of building round about H5439 ADV in them , round about H5439 ADV them four H702 , and it was made H6213 with boiling places H4018 under H8478 M-CFS the rows H2918 round about H5439 .
24 Then said H559 W-VQY3MS he unto H413 me , These H428 PMP are the places H1004 CMS of them that boil H1310 , where H834 RPRO the ministers H8334 of the house H1004 D-NMS shall boil H1310 the sacrifice H2077 NMS of the people H5971 D-NMS .
