Revelation 2:20 (WEB) World English Bible

1 To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: "He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among of the seven golden lampstands says these things:
2 "I know your works, and your toil and perseverance, and that you can't tolerate evil men, and have tested those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false.
3 You have perseverance and have endured for my name's sake, and have not grown weary.
4 But I have this against you, that you left your first love.
5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent.
6 But this you have, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.
8 "To the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write: "The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life says these things:
9 "I know your works, oppression, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
10 Don't be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.
11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes won't be harmed by the second death.
12 "To the angel of the assembly in Pergamum write: "He who has the sharp two-edged sword says these things:
13 "I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn't deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
15 So you also have some who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans likewise.
16 Repent therefore, or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it.
18 "To the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: "The Son of God, who has his eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet are like burnished brass, says these things:
19 I know your works, your love, faith, service, patient endurance, and that your last works are more than the first.
20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate your woman, Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. She teaches and seduces my servants to commit sexual immorality, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality.
22 Behold, I will throw her into a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great oppression, unless they repent of her works.
23 I will kill her children with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am he who searches the minds and hearts. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
24 But to you I say, to the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as don't have this teaching, who don't know what some call 'the deep things of Satan,' to you I say, I am not putting any other burden on you.
25 Nevertheless, hold firmly that which you have, until I come.
26 He who overcomes, and he who keeps my works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
27 He will rule them with a rod of iron, shattering them like clay pots; as I also have received of my Father:
28 and I will give him the morning star.
29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

2 I know G1492 V-RAI-1S thy G3588 T-APN works G2041 N-APN , and G2532 CONJ thy G3588 T-ASM labor G2873 N-ASM , and G2532 CONJ thy G3588 T-ASF patience G5281 N-ASF , and G2532 CONJ how G3754 CONJ thou canst G1410 V-PNI-2S not G3756 PRT-N bear G941 V-AAN them which are evil G2556 A-APM : and G2532 CONJ thou hast tried G3985 V-AAI-2S them which say G5335 they are G1511 V-PXN apostles G652 N-APM , and G2532 CONJ are G1526 V-PXI-3P not G3756 PRT-N , and G2532 CONJ hast found G2147 V-2AAI-2S them G846 P-APM liars G5571 A-APM :
3 And G2532 CONJ hast borne G941 V-AAI-2S , and G2532 CONJ hast G2192 V-PAI-2S patience G5281 N-ASF , and G2532 CONJ for my name\'s sake G1223 PREP hast labored G2872 V-AAI-2S , and G2532 CONJ hast not G3756 PRT-N fainted G2577 .
4 Nevertheless G235 CONJ I have G2192 V-PAI-1S somewhat against G2596 PREP thee G4675 P-2GS , because G3754 CONJ thou hast left G863 V-AAI-2S thy G3588 T-ASF first G4413 A-ASF love G26 N-ASF .
5 Remember G3421 V-PAM-2S therefore G3767 CONJ from whence G4159 ADV-I thou art fallen G1601 , and G2532 CONJ repent G3340 V-AAM-2S , and G2532 CONJ do G4160 V-AAM-2S the G3588 T-APN first G4413 A-APN works G2041 N-APN ; or else G1490 I will come G2064 V-PNI-1S unto thee G4671 P-2DS quickly G5034 , and G2532 CONJ will remove G2795 V-FAI-1S thy G3588 T-ASF candlestick G3087 N-ASF out of G1537 PREP his G3588 T-GSM place G5117 N-GSM , except G3362 thou repent G3340 V-AAS-2S .
6 But G235 CONJ this G5124 D-ASN thou hast G2192 V-PAI-2S , that G3754 CONJ thou hatest G3404 V-PAI-2S the G3588 T-APN deeds G2041 N-APN of G3588 T-GPM the G3588 T-GPM Nicolaitanes G3531 N-GPM , which G3739 R-APN I also G2504 P-1NS-C hate G3404 V-PAI-1S .
7 He that hath G2192 V-PAP-NSM an ear G3775 N-ASN , let him hear G191 V-AAM-3S what G5101 I-ASN the G3588 T-NSN Spirit G4151 N-NSN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S unto the G3588 T-DPF churches G1577 N-DPF ; To him G3588 T-DSM that overcometh G3528 V-PAP-DSM will I give G1325 V-FAI-1S to eat G5315 V-2AAN of G1537 PREP the G3588 T-GSN tree G3586 N-GSN of life G2222 N-GSF , which G3739 R-NSN is G2076 V-PXI-3S in G1722 PREP the midst G3319 A-DSN of G3588 T-GSM the G3588 T-GSM paradise G3857 N-GSM of God G2316 N-GSM .
8 And G2532 CONJ unto the G3588 T-DSM angel G32 N-DSM of the G3588 T-GSF church G1577 N-GSF in Smyrna G4668 write G1125 V-AAM-2S ; These things G3592 D-APN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S the G3588 T-NSM first G4413 A-NSM and G2532 CONJ the G3588 T-NSM last G2078 A-NSM , which G3739 R-NSM was G1096 V-2ADI-3S dead G3498 A-NSM , and G2532 CONJ is alive G2198 V-AAI-3S ;
9 I know G1492 V-RAI-1S thy G3588 T-APN works G2041 N-APN , and G2532 CONJ tribulation G2347 N-ASF , and G2532 CONJ poverty G4432 N-ASF , ( but G1161 thou art G1488 V-PXI-2S rich G4145 A-NSM ) and G2532 CONJ I know the G3588 T-ASF blasphemy G988 N-ASF of G3588 T-GPM them which say G3004 V-PAP-GPM they G1438 F-3APM are G1511 V-PXN Jews G2453 A-APM , and G2532 CONJ are G1526 V-PXI-3P not G3756 PRT-N , but G235 CONJ are the G3588 T-GSM synagogue G4864 N-NSF of Satan G4567 N-GSM .
10 Fear G5399 V-PNM-2S none G3367 A-ASN of those things which G3739 R-APN thou shalt G3195 V-PAI-2S suffer G3958 V-PAN : behold G2400 V-2AAM-2S , the G3588 T-NSM devil G1228 A-NSM shall G3195 V-PAI-3S cast G906 V-2AAN some of G1537 PREP you G5216 P-2GP into G1519 PREP prison G5438 N-ASF , that G2443 CONJ ye may be tried G3985 V-APS-2P ; and G2532 CONJ ye shall have G2192 V-FAI-2P tribulation G2347 N-ASF ten G1176 A-NUI days G2250 N-GPF ; be G1096 V-PNM-2S thou faithful G4103 A-NSM unto G891 PREP death G2288 N-GSM , and G2532 CONJ I will give G1325 V-FAI-1S thee G4671 P-2DS a crown G4735 N-ASM of life G2222 N-GSF .
11 He that hath G2192 V-PAP-NSM an ear G3775 N-ASN , let him hear G191 V-AAM-3S what G5101 I-ASN the G3588 T-NSN Spirit G4151 N-NSN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S unto the G3588 T-DPF churches G1577 N-DPF ; He that overcometh G3528 V-PAP-NSM shall not G3364 be hurt G91 V-APS-3S of G1537 PREP the G3588 T-GSM second G1208 A-GSM death G2288 N-GSM .
12 And G2532 CONJ to the G3588 T-DSM angel G32 N-DSM of the G3588 T-GSF church G1577 N-GSF in G1722 PREP Pergamos G4010 N-DSF write G1125 V-AAM-2S ; These things G3592 D-APN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S he which hath G2192 V-PAP-NSM the G3588 T-ASF sharp G3691 A-ASF sword G4501 N-ASF with two edges G1366 A-ASF ;
13 I know G1492 V-RAI-1S thy G3588 T-APN works G2041 N-APN , and G2532 CONJ where G4226 PRT-I thou dwellest G2730 V-PAI-2S , even where G3588 T-GSM Satan G4567 N-GSM \'s seat G2362 N-NSM is : and G2532 CONJ thou holdest fast G2902 V-PAI-2S my G3588 T-ASN name G3686 N-ASN , and G2532 CONJ hast not G3756 PRT-N denied G720 V-ADI-2S my G3588 T-ASF faith G4102 N-ASF , even G2532 CONJ in G1722 PREP those days G2250 N-DPF wherein G1722 PREP Antipas G493 N-NSM was my G3588 T-NSM faithful G4103 A-NSM martyr G3144 N-NSM , who G3739 R-DPF was slain G615 V-API-3S among G3844 PREP you G5213 P-2DP , where G3588 T-NSM Satan G4567 N-NSM dwelleth G2730 V-PAI-3S .
14 But G235 CONJ I have G2192 V-PAI-1S a few things G3641 A-APN against G2596 PREP thee G4675 P-2GS , because G3754 CONJ thou hast G2192 V-PAI-2S there G1563 ADV them that hold G2902 V-PAP-APM the G3588 T-ASF doctrine G1322 N-ASF of Balaam G903 N-PRI , who G3739 R-NSM taught G1321 V-AAI-3S Balac G904 N-PRI to cast G906 V-2AAN a stumblingblock G4625 N-ASN before G1799 ADV the G3588 T-GPM children G5207 N-GPM of Israel G2474 N-PRI , to eat G5315 V-2AAN things sacrificed unto idols G1494 A-APN , and G2532 CONJ to commit fornication G4203 V-AAN .
15 So G3779 ADV hast G2192 V-PAI-2S thou G4771 P-2NS also G2532 CONJ them that hold G2902 V-PAP-APM the G3588 T-ASF doctrine G1322 N-ASF of G3588 T-GPM the G3588 T-GPM Nicolaitanes G3531 N-GPM , which thing G3739 I hate G3404 .
16 Repent G3340 V-AAM-2S ; or else G1490 I will come G2064 V-PNI-1S unto thee G4671 P-2DS quickly G5035 ADV , and G2532 CONJ will fight G4170 V-FAI-1S against G3326 PREP them G846 P-GPM with G1722 PREP the G3588 T-DSF sword G4501 N-DSF of G3588 T-GSN my G3588 T-GSN mouth G4750 N-GSN .
17 He that hath G2192 V-PAP-NSM an ear G3775 N-ASN , let him hear G191 V-AAM-3S what G5101 I-ASN the G3588 T-NSN Spirit G4151 N-NSN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S unto the G3588 T-DPF churches G1577 N-DPF ; To him G3588 T-DSM that overcometh G3528 V-PAP-DSM will I give G1325 V-FAI-1S to eat G5315 V-2AAN of G575 PREP the G3588 T-GSM hidden G2928 V-RPP-GSM manna G3131 HEB , and G2532 CONJ will give G1325 V-FAI-1S him G846 P-DSM a white G3022 A-ASF stone G5586 N-ASF , and G2532 CONJ in G1909 PREP the G3588 T-ASF stone G5586 N-ASF a new G2537 A-NSN name G3686 N-NSN written G1125 V-RPP-NSN , which G3739 R-ASN no man G3762 A-NSM knoweth G1097 saving G1508 he that receiveth G2983 V-PAP-NSM it .
18 And G2532 CONJ unto the G3588 T-DSM angel G32 N-DSM of the G3588 T-GSF church G1577 N-GSF in G1722 PREP Thyatira G2363 N-DPN write G1125 V-AAM-2S ; These things G3592 D-APN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S the G3588 T-NSM Son G5207 N-NSM of God G2316 N-GSM , who hath G2192 V-PAP-NSM his G3588 T-APM eyes G3788 N-APM like unto G5613 ADV a flame G5395 N-NSF of fire G4442 N-GSN , and G2532 CONJ his G3588 T-NPM feet G4228 N-NPM are like G3664 A-NPM fine brass G5474 N-DSN ;

20 Notwithstanding G235 CONJ I have G2192 V-PAI-1S a few things G3641 against G2596 PREP thee G4675 P-2GS , because G3754 CONJ thou sufferest G1439 that woman G1135 N-ASF Jezebel G2403 N-PRI , which calleth G3004 V-PAI-3S herself G1438 F-3ASF a prophetess G4398 N-ASF , to teach G1321 V-PAI-3S and G2532 CONJ to seduce G4105 V-PAI-3S my G1699 servants G1401 N-APM to commit fornication G4203 V-AAN , and G2532 CONJ to eat G5315 things sacrificed unto idols G1494 A-APN .
21 And G2532 CONJ I gave G1325 V-AAI-1S her G846 P-DSF space G5550 N-ASM to G2443 CONJ repent G3340 V-AAS-3S of G1537 PREP her G3588 T-GSF fornication G4202 N-GSF ; and G2532 CONJ she repented G3340 V-AAN not G3756 PRT-N .
22 Behold G2400 V-2AAM-2S , I G1473 will cast G906 V-PAI-1S her G846 P-ASF into G1519 PREP a bed G2825 N-ASF , and G2532 CONJ them that commit adultery G3431 V-PAP-APM with G3326 PREP her G846 P-GSF into G1519 PREP great G3173 A-ASF tribulation G2347 N-ASF , except G3362 they repent G3340 V-AAS-3P of G1537 PREP their G3588 T-GPN deeds G2041 N-GPN .
23 And G2532 CONJ I will kill G615 V-FAI-1S her G3588 T-APN children G5043 N-APN with G1722 PREP death G2288 N-DSM ; and G2532 CONJ all G3956 A-NPF the G3588 T-NPF churches G1577 N-NPF shall know G1097 V-FDI-3P that G3754 CONJ I G1473 P-1NS am G1510 V-PXI-1S he which searcheth G2045 V-PAP-NSM the reins G3510 N-APM and G2532 CONJ hearts G2588 N-APF : and G2532 CONJ I will give G1325 V-FAI-1S unto every one G1538 A-DSM of you G5213 P-2DP according G2596 PREP to your G3588 T-APN works G2041 N-APN .
24 But G1161 CONJ unto you G5213 P-2DP I say G3004 V-PAI-1S , and G2532 unto the G3588 T-DPM rest G3062 A-DPM in G1722 PREP Thyatira G2363 N-DPN , as many as G3745 have G2192 V-PAI-3P not G3756 PRT-N this G3588 T-ASF doctrine G1322 N-ASF , and G2532 which G3748 R-NPM have not G3756 PRT-N known G1097 V-2AAI-3P the G3588 T-DPM depths G899 of Satan G4567 N-GSM , as G5613 ADV they speak G3004 V-PAI-3P ; I will put G906 V-PAI-1S upon G1909 PREP you G5209 P-2AP none G3756 PRT-N other G243 A-ASN burden G922 N-ASN .
25 But G4133 ADV that which G3739 R-ASN ye have G2192 V-PAI-2P already hold fast G2902 V-AAM-2P till G891 PREP I come G2240 V-AAS-1S .
26 And G2532 CONJ he that overcometh G3528 V-PAP-NSM , and G2532 CONJ keepeth G5083 V-PAP-NSM my G3588 T-APN works G2041 N-APN unto G891 PREP the end G5056 N-GSN , to him G846 P-DSM will I give G1325 V-FAI-1S power G1849 N-ASF over G1909 PREP the G3588 T-GPN nations G1484 N-GPN :
27 And G2532 CONJ he shall rule G4165 V-FAI-3S them G846 P-APM with G1722 PREP a rod G4464 N-DSF of iron G4603 A-DSF ; as G5613 ADV the G3588 T-NPN vessels G4632 N-NPN of G3588 T-NPN a potter G2764 A-NPN shall they be broken to shivers G4937 V-2FPI-3S : even as G5613 ADV I G2504 P-1NS-C received G2983 V-RAI-1S of G3844 PREP my G3588 T-GSM Father G3962 N-GSM .
28 And G2532 CONJ I will give G1325 V-FAI-1S him G846 P-DSM the G3588 T-ASM morning G4407 A-ASM star G792 N-ASM .
29 He that hath G2192 V-PAP-NSM an ear G3775 N-ASN , let him hear G191 V-AAM-3S what G5101 I-ASN the G3588 T-NSN Spirit G4151 N-NSN saith G3004 V-PAI-3S unto the G3588 T-DPF churches G1577 N-DPF .
