• 1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow to it.
• 2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
• 3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
• 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken it.
• 5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
• 6 In that day, said the LORD, will I assemble her that halts, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;
• 7 And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from now on, even for ever.
• 8 And you, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, to you shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
• 9 Now why do you cry out aloud? is there no king in you? is your counselor perished? for pangs have taken you as a woman in travail.
• 10 Be in pain, and labor to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shall you go forth out of the city, and you shall dwell in the field, and you shall go even to Babylon; there shall you be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem you from the hand of your enemies.
• 11 Now also many nations are gathered against you, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look on Zion.
• 12 But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.
• 13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs brass: and you shall beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain to the LORD, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.

Deuteronomy 32:13

• 13 He enabled him to travel over the high terrain of the land, and he ate of the produce of the fields. He provided honey for him from the cliffs, and olive oil from the hardest of rocks,

Deuteronomy 33:29

• 1 In the future the LORD's Temple Mount will be the most important mountain of all; it will be more prominent than other hills. People will stream to it.
• 2 Many nations will come, saying, "Come on! Let's go up to the LORD's mountain, to the temple of Jacob's God, so he can teach us his commands and we can live by his laws." For Zion will be the source of instruction; the LORD's teachings will proceed from Jerusalem.
• 3 He will arbitrate between many peoples and settle disputes between many distant nations. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nations will not use weapons against other nations, and they will no longer train for war.
• 4 Each will sit under his own grapevine or under his own fig tree without any fear. The LORD who commands armies has decreed it.
• 5 Though all the nations follow their respective gods, we will follow the LORD our God forever.
• 6 "In that day," says the LORD, "I will gather the lame, and assemble the outcasts whom I injured.
• 7 I will transform the lame into the nucleus of a new nation, and those far off into a mighty nation. The LORD will reign over them on Mount Zion, from that day forward and forevermore."
• 8 As for you, watchtower for the flock, fortress of Daughter Zion— your former dominion will be restored, the sovereignty that belongs to Daughter Jerusalem.
• 9 Jerusalem, why are you now shouting so loudly? Has your king disappeared? Has your wise leader been destroyed? Is this why pain grips you as if you were a woman in labor?
• 10 Twist and strain, Daughter Zion, as if you were in labor! For you will leave the city and live in the open field. You will go to Babylon, but there you will be rescued. There the LORD will deliver you from the power of your enemies.
• 11 Many nations have now assembled against you. They say, "Jerusalem must be desecrated, so we can gloat over Zion!"
• 12 But they do not know what the LORD is planning; they do not understand his strategy. He has gathered them like stalks of grain to be threshed at the threshing floor.
• 13 "Get up and thresh, Daughter Zion! For I will give you iron horns; I will give you bronze hooves, and you will crush many nations." You will devote to the LORD the spoils you take from them, and dedicate their wealth to the sovereign Ruler of the whole earth.

Deuteronomy 32:13

• 13 The Lord helped them take control of the hill country. They took the harvest in the fields. He gave them honey from the cliffs and olive oil from the rocky ground.

Deuteronomy 33:29

• 29 Israel, you are blessed. No other nation is like you. The Lord saved you. He is like a strong shield protecting you. He is like a powerful sword. Your enemies will be afraid of you, and you will put your foot on their backs! "

• 1 In the last days the mountain of the Lord's Temple will be on the highest of all mountains. It will be raised higher than the hills. There will be a steady stream of people going there.
• 2 People from many nations will go there and say, "Come, let's go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the Temple of the God of Jacob. Then God will teach us his way of living, and we will follow him." His teaching, the Lord's message, will begin in Jerusalem on Mount Zion and will go out to all the world.
• 3 Then God will act as judge to end arguments between people in many places. He will decide what is right for great nations far and near. They will stop using their weapons for war. They will hammer their swords into plows and use their spears to make tools for harvesting. All fighting between nations will end. They will never again train for war.
• 4 They will sit under their own grapevine and fig tree. No one will make them afraid. That is because the Lord All-Powerful said it would happen like that.
• 5 All the people from other nations follow their own gods, but we will follow the Lord our God forever and ever!
• 6 The Lord says, "Jerusalem was hurt and crippled. She was thrown away. She was hurt and punished, but I will bring her back to me.
• 7 "The people of that 'crippled' city will be the only ones left alive. They were forced to leave, but I will make them into a strong nation." The Lord will be their king. He will rule from Mount Zion forever.
• 8 And you, Tower of Flocks, your time will come. Ophel, hill of Zion, you will again be the seat of government. Yes, the kingdom will be in Jerusalem like it was in the past."
• 9 Now, why are you crying so loudly? Is your king gone? Have you lost your leader? You are suffering like a woman who is giving birth.
• 10 Daughter Zion, feel the pain. Give birth to your "baby." You must go out of this city. You will live in the field. That is, you will go to Babylon, but you will also be saved from that place. The Lord will go there and rescue you. He will take you away from your enemies.
• 11 Many nations have come to fight against you. They say, "Look, there is Zion! Let's attack her!"
• 12 They have their plans, but they don't know what the Lord is planning. He brought them here for a special purpose. They will be crushed like grain on a threshing floor.
• 13 "Daughter Zion, get up and crush them! I will make you very strong. It will be as if you have horns of iron and hooves of bronze. You will beat many people into small pieces. You will give their wealth to the Lord. You will give their treasure to the Lord of all the earth."

• 13 He brought them up on the strength of the land; he fed them with the fruits of the fields; they sucked honey out of the rock, and oil out of the solid rock.

• 29 Blessed art thou, O Israel; who is like to thee, O people saved by the Lord? thy helper shall hold his shield over thee, and his sword is thy boast; and thine enemies shall speak falsely to thee, and thou shalt tread upon their neck.

• 4 And every one shall rest under his vine, and every one under his fig-tree; and there shall be none to alarm them: for the mouth of the Lord Almighty has spoken these words.
• 5 For all other nations shall walk everyone in his own way, but we will walk in the name of the Lord our God Gr. for the age and beyond for ever and ever.
• 6 In that day, saith the Lord, I will gather her that is bruised, and will receive her that is cast out, and those whom I rejected.
• 7 And I will make her that was bruised a remnant, and her that was rejected a mighty nation: and the Lord shall reign over them in mount Sion from henceforth, even for ever.
• 8 And thou, Or, gloomy, or, foul dark tower of the flock, daughter of Sion, on thee the dominion shall come and enter in, even the first kingdom from Babylon to the daughter of Jerusalem.
• 9 And now, why hast thou known calamities? was there not a king to thee? or has thy counsel perished that pangs as of a woman in travail have seized upon thee?
• 10 Be in pain, and strengthen thyself, and sc. the time, but Alex.—’draw near’ draw near, O daughter of Sion, as a woman in travail: for now thou shalt go forth out of the city, and shalt lodge in the plain, and shalt reach even to Babylon: thence shall the Lord thy God deliver thee, and thence shall he redeem thee out of the hand of thine enemies.
• 11 And now have many nations gathered against thee, saying, We will rejoice, and our eyes shall look upon Sion.
• 12 But they know not the thought of the Lord, and have not understood his counsel: for he has gathered them as sheaves of the floor.
• 13 Arise, and thresh them, O daughter of Sion: for I will make thine horns iron, and I will make thine hoofs brass: and thou shalt utterly destroy many nations, and shalt consecrate Or, the multitude of them their abundance to the Lord, and their strength to the Lord of all the earth.
