1. "These are the rules for the guilt offering, which is very holy:
|
1. Likewise this H2063 is the law H8451 of the trespass offering H817 : it H1931 is most holy H6944 H6944 .
|
|
2. A priest must kill the guilt offering in the same place where they kill the burnt offerings. Then he must sprinkle the blood from the guilt offering around the altar.
|
2. In the place H4725 where H834 they kill H7819 H853 the burnt offering H5930 shall they kill H7819 H853 the trespass offering H817 : and the blood H1818 thereof shall he sprinkle H2236 round about H5439 upon H5921 the altar H4196 .
|
|
3. "The priest must offer all the fat from the guilt offering. He must offer the fat tail and the fat that covers the inner parts.
|
3. And he shall offer H7126 of H4480 it all H3605 the fat H2459 thereof; H853 the rump H451 , and the fat H2459 that covereth H3680 H853 the inwards H7130 ,
|
|
4. He must offer the two kidneys and the fat covering them at the lower back muscle. He must also offer the fat part of the liver. He must remove it with the kidneys.
|
4. And the two H8147 kidneys H3629 , and the fat H2459 that H834 is on H5921 them, which H834 is by H5921 the flanks H3689 , and the caul H3508 that is above H5921 the liver H3516 , with H5921 the kidneys H3629 , it shall he take away H5493 :

5. He must bring these things to the altar as a gift to the Lord. It is a guilt offering.
|
5. And the priest H3548 shall burn H6999 them upon the altar H4196 for an offering made by fire H801 unto the LORD H3068 : it H1931 is a trespass offering H817 .
|
|
6. "Any male in a priest's family may eat the guilt offering. It is very holy, so it must be eaten in a holy place.
|
6. Every H3605 male H2145 among the priests H3548 shall eat H398 thereof : it shall be eaten H398 in the holy H6918 place H4725 : it H1931 is most holy H6944 H6944 .

|
7. The guilt offering is like the sin offering. The same rules are for both offerings. The priest who does the sacrificing will get the meat for food.
|
7. As the sin offering H2403 is , so is the trespass offering H817 : there is one H259 law H8451 for them : the priest H3548 that H834 maketh atonement H3722 therewith shall have H1961 it .
|
|
8. He will also get the skin from the burnt offering.
|
8. And the priest H3548 that offereth H7126 H853 any man H376 's burnt offering H5930 , even the priest H3548 shall have H1961 to himself the skin H5785 of the burnt offering H5930 which H834 he hath offered H7126 .
|
|
9. Every grain offering belongs to the priest who offers it. That priest will get the grain offerings that were baked in an oven, or cooked on a frying pan, or in a baking dish.
|
9. And all H3605 the meat offering H4503 that H834 is baked H644 in the oven H8574 , and all H3605 that is dressed H6213 in the frying pan H4802 , and in H5921 the pan H4227 , shall be H1961 the priest H3548 's that offereth H7126 it.

|
10. The grain offerings will belong to Aaron's sons. It doesn't make any difference if the grain offerings are dry or mixed with oil. The sons of Aaron will all share this food.
|
10. And every H3605 meat offering H4503 , mingled H1101 with oil H8081 , and dry H2720 , shall all H3605 the sons H1121 of Aaron H175 have H1961 , one H376 as much as another H251 .
|
|
11. "This is the law of the sacrifice of fellowship offerings that you bring to the Lord:
|
11. And this H2063 is the law H8451 of the sacrifice H2077 of peace offerings H8002 , which H834 he shall offer H7126 unto the LORD H3068 .
|
|
12. People can bring fellowship offerings to show their thanks to God. If you bring your sacrifice to give thanks, you should also bring unleavened bread mixed with oil, wafers with oil poured over them, and loaves of fine flour mixed with oil.
|
12. If H518 he offer H7126 it for H5921 a thanksgiving H8426 , then he shall offer H7126 with H5921 the sacrifice H2077 of thanksgiving H8426 unleavened H4682 cakes H2471 mingled H1101 with oil H8081 , and unleavened H4682 wafers H7550 anointed H4886 with oil H8081 , and cakes H2471 mingled H1101 with oil H8081 , of fine flour H5560 , fried H7246 .

13. You must also bring loaves of bread made with yeast to go with your fellowship offering.
|
13. Besides H5921 the cakes H2471 , he shall offer H7126 for his offering H7133 leavened H2557 bread H3899 with H5921 the sacrifice H2077 of thanksgiving H8426 of his peace offerings H8002 .
|
|
14. One of these loaves of bread will belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the fellowship offerings.
|
14. And of H4480 it he shall offer H7126 one H259 out of the whole H4480 H3605 oblation H7133 for a heave offering H8641 unto the LORD H3068 , and it shall be H1961 the priest H3548 's that sprinkleth H2236 H853 the blood H1818 of the peace offerings H8002 .

|
15. The meat of the fellowship offering must be eaten on the same day it is offered as a way of showing thanks to God. None of the meat should remain until the next morning.
|
15. And the flesh H1320 of the sacrifice H2077 of his peace offerings H8002 for thanksgiving H8426 shall be eaten H398 the same day H3117 that it is offered H7133 ; he shall not H3808 leave H5117 any of H4480 it until H5704 the morning H1242 .

|
16. "If you bring a fellowship offering simply because you want to give a gift to God or because it is part of a special promise you made to him, the sacrifice should be eaten the same day you offer it. But if there is any left, it must be eaten the next day.
|
16. But if H518 the sacrifice H2077 of his offering H7133 be a vow H5088 , or H176 a voluntary offering H5071 , it shall be eaten H398 the same day H3117 that he offereth H7126 H853 his sacrifice H2077 : and on the morrow H4480 H4283 also the remainder H3498 of H4480 it shall be eaten H398 :

17. If any meat from this sacrifice is still left over on the third day, it must be burned in the fire.
|
17. But the remainder H3498 of the flesh H4480 H1320 of the sacrifice H2077 on the third H7992 day H3117 shall be burnt H8313 with fire H784 .
|
|
18. The Lord will not accept the offering from anyone who eats any of that meat on the third day. The Lord will not count the sacrifice for you�he will treat it like rotten meat! Whoever eats that meat will be responsible for their own sin.
|
18. And if H518 any of the flesh H4480 H1320 of the sacrifice H2077 of his peace offerings H8002 be eaten at all H398 H398 on the third H7992 day H3117 , it shall not H3808 be accepted H7521 , neither H3808 shall it be imputed H2803 unto him that offereth H7126 it : it shall be H1961 an abomination H6292 , and the soul H5315 that eateth H398 of H4480 it shall bear H5375 his iniquity H5771 .

19. "People must not eat any of the meat that touches anything unclean. They must burn this meat in the fire. Whoever is clean may eat the meat from the fellowship offering.
|
19. And the flesh H1320 that H834 toucheth H5060 any H3605 unclean H2931 thing shall not H3808 be eaten H398 ; it shall be burnt H8313 with fire H784 : and as for the flesh H1320 , all H3605 that be clean H2889 shall eat H398 thereof H1320 .

|
20. But anyone who is unclean and eats the meat from the fellowship offerings that was offered to the Lord must be separated from their people.
|
20. But the soul H5315 that H834 eateth H398 of the flesh H1320 of the sacrifice H4480 H2077 of peace offerings H8002 , that H834 pertain unto the LORD H3068 , having his uncleanness H2932 upon H5921 him , even that H1931 soul H5315 shall be cut off H3772 from his people H4480 H5971 .

21. "If you touch something that is unclean, it doesn't matter if it was made unclean by a person, an animal, or some disgusting thing, you will become unclean. And if you eat any of the meat from the fellowship offerings that was given to the Lord, you must be separated from your people."

21. Moreover the soul H5315 that H3588 shall touch H5060 any H3605 unclean H2931 thing, as the uncleanness H2932 of man H120 , or H176 any unclean H2931 beast H929 , or H176 any H3605 abominable H8263 unclean H2931 thing , and eat H398 of the flesh H4480 H1320 of the sacrifice H2077 of peace offerings H8002 , which H834 pertain unto the LORD H3068 , even that H1931 soul H5315 shall be cut off H3772 from his people H4480 H5971 .

22. The Lord said to Moses,

22. And the LORD H3068 spoke H1696 unto H413 Moses H4872 , saying H559 ,
|
|
23. "Tell the Israelites: You must not eat any fat from your cattle, sheep, or goats.
|
23. Speak H1696 unto H413 the children H1121 of Israel H3478 , saying H559 , Ye shall eat H398 no manner H3808 H3605 of fat H2459 , of ox H7794 , or of sheep H3775 , or of goat H5795 .
|
|
24. You may use the fat from any animal that has died by itself or was torn by other animals, but you must never eat it.
|
24. And the fat H2459 of the beast that dieth of itself H5038 , and the fat H2459 of that which is torn with beasts H2966 , may be used H6213 in any H3605 other use H4399 : but ye shall in no wise eat H3808 H398 H398 of it.

25. Whoever eats the fat from an animal that was offered as a gift to the Lord must be separated from their people.
|
25. For H3588 whosoever H3605 eateth H398 the fat H2459 of H4480 the beast H929 , of which H834 H4480 men offer H7126 an offering made by fire H801 unto the LORD H3068 , even the soul H5315 that eateth H398 it shall be cut off H3772 from his people H4480 H5971 .

26. "No matter where you live, you must never eat blood from any bird or any animal.
|
26. Moreover ye shall eat H398 no manner H3808 H3605 of blood H1818 , whether it be of fowl H5775 or of beast H929 , in any H3605 of your dwellings H4186 .
|
|
27. Anyone who eats blood must be separated from their people."
|
27. Whatsoever H3605 soul H5315 it be that H834 eateth H398 any manner H3605 of blood H1818 , even that H1931 soul H5315 shall be cut off H3772 from his people H4480 H5971 .

|
28. The Lord said to Moses,

28. And the LORD H3068 spoke H1696 unto H413 Moses H4872 , saying H559 ,
|
|
29. "Tell the Israelites: If you bring a fellowship offering to the Lord, you must present that gift to the Lord yourself.
|
29. Speak H1696 unto H413 the children H1121 of Israel H3478 , saying H559 , He that offereth H7126 H853 the sacrifice H2077 of his peace offerings H8002 unto the LORD H3068 shall bring H935 H853 his oblation H7133 unto the LORD H3068 of the sacrifice H4480 H2077 of his peace offerings H8002 .

30. You must bring the fat and the breast of the animal to the priest. Then he will lift up the breast in front of the Lord to show it was presented to God.
|
30. His own hands H3027 shall bring H935 H853 the offerings of the LORD made by fire H801 H3068 , H853 the fat H2459 with H5921 the breast H2373 , it shall he bring H935 , H853 that the breast H2373 may be waved H5130 H853 for a wave offering H8573 before H6440 the LORD H3068 .

31. The priest will burn the fat on the altar, but the breast of the animal will belong to Aaron and his sons.
|
31. And the priest H3548 shall burn H6999 H853 the fat H2459 upon the altar H4196 : but the breast H2373 shall be H1961 Aaron H175 's and his sons H1121 '.

|
32. You must also give the right thigh from the fellowship offering as a gift to the priest.
|
32. And the right H3225 shoulder H7785 shall ye give H5414 unto the priest H3548 for a heave offering H8641 of the sacrifices H4480 H2077 of your peace offerings H8002 .
|
|
33. That part of the fellowship offering will belong to the priest who carries the blood and fat to the altar.
|
33. He among the sons H4480 H1121 of Aaron H175 , that offereth H7126 H853 the blood H1818 of the peace offerings H8002 , and the fat H2459 , shall have H1961 the right H3225 shoulder H7785 for his part H4440 .
|
|
34. I will accept the breast that was lifted up and the gift of the right thigh from the Israelites. Then I will give these things to Aaron and his sons. This is their share from the fellowship offerings of the Israelites forever."
|
34. For H3588 H853 the wave H8573 breast H2373 and the heave H8641 shoulder H7785 have I taken H3947 of H4480 H854 the children H1121 of Israel H3478 from off the sacrifices H4480 H2077 of their peace offerings H8002 , and have given H5414 them unto Aaron H175 the priest H3548 and unto his sons H1121 by a statute H2706 forever H5769 from among H4480 H854 the children H1121 of Israel H3478 .

35. Those parts from the gifts offered to the Lord were given to Aaron and his sons. Whenever Aaron and his sons serve as the Lord's priests, they get that share of the sacrifices.

35. This H2063 is the portion of the anointing H4888 of Aaron H175 , and of the anointing H4888 of his sons H1121 , out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire H4480 H801 H3068 , in the day H3117 when he presented H7126 them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office H3547 H3068 ;

36. The Lord commanded the Israelites to give those parts to the priests once they have been anointed. That will be their share from the Israelites forever.
|
36. Which H834 the LORD H3068 commanded H6680 to be given H5414 them of H4480 H854 the children H1121 of Israel H3478 , in the day H3117 that he anointed H4886 them, by a statute H2708 forever H5769 throughout their generations H1755 .

|
37. These are the laws about burnt offerings, grain offerings, sin offerings, guilt offerings, fellowship offerings, and offerings for when the priests are appointed.
|
37. This H2063 is the law H8451 of the burnt offering H5930 , of the meat offering H4503 , and of the sin offering H2403 , and of the trespass offering H817 , and of the consecrations H4394 , and of the sacrifice H2077 of the peace offerings H8002 ;

|
38. The Lord gave these laws to Moses on Mount Sinai when he commanded the Israelites to bring their offerings to the Lord in the Sinai desert.
|
38. Which H834 the LORD H3068 commanded H6680 H853 Moses H4872 in mount H2022 Sinai H5514 , in the day H3117 that he commanded H6680 H853 the children H1121 of Israel H3478 to offer H7126 H853 their oblations H7133 unto the LORD H3068 , in the wilderness H4057 of Sinai H5514 .
