1 मैं ने प्रभु को वेदी के ऊपर खड़ा देखा, और उसने कहा, खम्भे की कंगनियों पर मार जिस से डेवढिय़ां हिलें, और उन को सब लोगों के सिर पर गिरा कर टुकड़े टुकड़े कर; और जो नाश होने से बचें, उन्हें मैं तलवार से घात करूंगा; उन में से एक भी न भाग निकलेगा, और जो अपने को बचाए, वह बचने न पाएगा॥
2 क्योंकि चाहे वे खोद कर अधोलोक में उतर जाएं, तो वहां से मैं हाथ बढ़ा कर उन्हें लाऊंगा; चाहे वे आकाश पर चढ़ जाएं, तो वहां से मैं उन्हें उतार लाऊंगा।
3 चाहे वे कर्म्मेल में छिप जाएं, परन्तु वहां भी मैं उन्हें ढूंढ़-ढूंढकर पकड़ लूंगा, और चाहे वे समुद्र की थाह में मेरी दृष्टि से ओट हों, वहां भी मैं सर्प को उन्हें डसने की आज्ञा दूंगा।
4 और चाहे शत्रु उन्हें हांक कर बंधुआई में ले जाएं, वहां भी मैं आज्ञा देकर तलवार से उन्हें घात कराऊंगा; और मैं उन पर भलाई करने के लिये नहीं, बुराई की करने के लिये दृष्टि करूंगा॥
5 सेनाओं के परमेश्वर यहोवा के स्पर्श करने से पृथ्वी पिघलती है, और उसके सारे रहने वाले विलाप करते हैं; और वह सब की सब मिस्र की नदी के समान जो जाती है, जो बढ़ती है फिर लहरें मारती, और घट जाती है।
6 जो आकाश में अपनी कोठरियां बनाता, और अपने आकाशमण्डल की नेव पृथ्वी पर डालता, और समुद्र का जल घरती पर बहा देता है, उसी का नाम यहोवा है॥
7 हे इस्राएलियों, यहोवा की यह वाणी है, क्या तुम मेरे लेखे कूशियों के समान नहीं हो? क्या मैं इस्राएल को मिस्र देश से और पलिश्तियों को कप्तोर से नहीं निकाल लाया? और अरामियों को कीर से नहीं निकाल लाया?
8 देखो, परमेश्वर यहोवा की दृष्टि इस पाप-मय राज्य पर लगी है, और मैं इस को धरती पर से नाश करूंगा; तौभी मैं पूरी रीति से याकूब के घराने को नाश न करूंगा, यहोवा की यही वाणी है।
9 मेरी आज्ञा से इस्राएल का घराना सब जातियों में ऐसा चाला जाएगा जैसा अन्न चलनी में चाला जाता है, परन्तु उसका एक भी पुष्ट दाना भूमि पर न गिरेगा।
10 मेरी प्रजा में के सब पापी जो कहते हैं कि वह विपत्ति हम पर न पड़ेगी, और न हमें घेरेगी, वे सब तलवार से मारे जाएंगे।
11 उस समय मैं दाऊद की गिरी हुई झोंपड़ी को खड़ा करूंगा, और उसके बाड़े के नाकों को सुधारूंगा, और उसके खण्डहरों को फिर बनाऊंगा, और जैसा वह प्राचीनकाल से था, उसको वैसा ही बना दुंगा;
12 जिस से वे बचे हुए एदोमियों को वरन सब अन्यजातियों को जो मेरी कहलाती है, अपने अधिकार में लें, यहोवा जो यह काम पूरा करता है, उसकी यही वाणी है॥
13 यहोवा की यह भी वाणी है, देखो, ऐसे दिन आते हैं, कि हल जोतने वाला लवने वाले को और दाख रौंदने वाला बीच बोने वाले को जा लेगा; और पहाड़ों से नया दाखमधु टपकने लगेगा, और सब पहाडिय़ों से बह निकलेगा।
14 मैं अपनी प्रजा इस्राएल के बंधुओं को फेर ले आऊंगा, और वे उजड़े हुए नगरों को सुधारकर उन में बसेंगे; वे दाख की बारियां लगा कर दाखमधु पीएंगे, और बगीचे लगा कर उनके फल खाएंगे।
15 मैं उन्हें, उन्हीं की भूमि में बोऊंगा, और वे अपनी भूमि में से जो मैं ने उन्हें दी है, फिर कभी उखाड़े न जाएंगे, तुम्हारे परमेश्वर यहोवा का यही वचन है॥

5 And the Lord H136 GOD H3069 of hosts H6635 is he that toucheth H5060 the land H776 B-NFS , and it shall melt H4127 , and all H3605 NMS that dwell H3427 therein shall mourn H56 : and it shall rise up H5927 wholly H3605 NMS like a flood H2975 ; and shall be drowned H8257 , as by the flood H2975 of Egypt H4714 .

8 Behold H2009 IJEC , the eyes H5869 CMD of the Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 are upon the sinful H2400 kingdom H4467 , and I will destroy H8045 it from off H5921 M-PREP the face H6440 CMP of the earth H127 D-NFS ; saving H657 that H3588 CONJ I will not H3808 NADV utterly destroy H8045 the house H1004 CMS of Jacob H3290 , saith H5002 the LORD H3068 NAME-4MS .
9 For H3588 CONJ , lo H2009 IJEC , I H595 PPRO-1MS will command H6680 , and I will sift H5128 the house H1004 CMS of Israel H3478 among all H3605 nations H1471 D-NMP , like as H834 K-RPRO corn is sifted H5128 in a sieve H3531 , yet shall not H3808 W-NPAR the least grain H6872 fall H5307 upon the earth H776 GFS .
10 All H3605 NMS the sinners H2400 of my people H5971 shall die H4191 VQY3MP by the sword H2719 , which say H559 D-VQPMP , The evil H7451 D-AFS shall not H3808 ADV overtake H5066 nor prevent H6923 us .
11 In that H1931 D-PPRO-3MS day H3117 B-AMS will I raise up H6965 the tabernacle H5521 of David H1732 that is fallen H5307 , and close up H1443 the breaches H6556 thereof ; and I will raise up H6965 his ruins H2034 , and I will build H1129 it as in the days H3117 K-CMP of old H5769 NMS :

13 Behold H2009 IJEC , the days H3117 NMP come H935 , saith H5002 the LORD H3068 EDS , that the plowman H2790 shall overtake H5066 the reaper H7114 , and the treader H1869 of grapes H6025 him that soweth H4900 seed H2233 ; and the mountains H2022 shall drop H5197 sweet wine H6071 , and all H3605 W-CMS the hills H1389 shall melt H4127 .
14 And I will bring again H7725 the captivity H7622 of my people H5971 of Israel H3478 , and they shall build H1129 the waste H8074 cities H5892 GFP , and inhabit H3427 them ; and they shall plant H5193 vineyards H3754 , and drink H8354 the wine H3196 thereof ; they shall also make H6213 W-VQQ3MP gardens H1593 , and eat H398 the fruit H6529 of them .
15 And I will plant H5193 them upon H5921 PREP their land H127 , and they shall no H3808 W-NPAR more H5750 ADV be pulled up H5428 out of PREP their land H127 which H834 RPRO I have given H5414 VQQ1MS them , saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS thy God H430 .
