8. וַיָּמָת ^H4191 ^W-VQY3MS יְהוֹשֻׁעַ ^H3091 בִּן ^H1121 ־ ^CPUN נוּן ^H5126 עֶבֶד ^H5650 ^NMS יְהוָה ^H3068 ^EDS בֶּן ^CMS ־ ^CPUN מֵאָה ^H3967 ^MFS וָעֶשֶׂר ^H6235 שָׁנִֽים ^H8141 ׃ ^EPUN	8. *And Joshua ^H3091 the son ^H1121 of Nun ^H5126 , the servant ^H5650 of the LORD ^H3068 , died ^H4191 , being* a hundred ^H3967 and ten ^H6235 years ^H8141 old ^H1121 .**
9. וַיִּקְבְּרוּ ^H6912 אוֹתוֹ ^H853 בִּגְבוּל ^H1366 נַחֲלָתוֹ ^H5159 בְּתִמְנַת ^H8556 ־ ^CPUN חֶרֶס ^H8556 בְּהַר ^H2022 אֶפְרָיִם ^H669 מִצְּפוֹן ^H6828 לְהַר ^H2022 ־ ^CPUN גָּֽעַשׁ ^H1608 ׃ ^EPUN	9. And they buried ^H6912 him in the border ^H1366 of his inheritance ^H5159 in Timnath ^H8556 -heres , in the mount ^H2022 of Ephraim ^H669 , on the north side ^H4480 ^H6828 of the hill ^H2022 Gaash ^H1608 .

11. וַיַּעֲשׂוּ ^H6213 ^W-VQY3MP בְנֵֽי ^H1121 ־ ^CPUN יִשְׂרָאֵל ^H3478 אֶת ^H853 ^PART ־ ^CPUN הָרַע ^H7451 בְּעֵינֵי ^H5869 ^B-CMP יְהוָה ^H3068 ^EDS וַיַּעַבְדוּ ^H5647 אֶת ^H853 ^PART ־ ^CPUN הַבְּעָלִֽים ^H1168 ׃ ^EPUN	11. And the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 did ^H6213 ^H853 evil ^H7451 in the sight ^H5869 of the LORD ^H3068 , and served ^H5647 ^H853 Baalim ^H1168 :

13. וַיַּעַזְבוּ ^H5800 אֶת ^H853 ^PART ־ ^CPUN יְהוָה ^H3068 ^EDS וַיַּעַבְדוּ ^H5647 לַבַּעַל ^H1168 וְלָעַשְׁתָּרֽוֹת ^H6252 ׃ ^EPUN	13. And they forsook ^H5800 ^H853 the LORD ^H3068 , and served ^H5647 Baal ^H1168 and Ashtaroth ^H6252 .
14. וַיִּֽחַר ^H2734 ־ ^CPUN אַף ^H639 ^CMS יְהוָה ^H3068 ^EDS בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל ^H3478 וַֽיִּתְּנֵם ^H5414 בְּיַד ^H3027 ^B-CFS ־ ^CPUN שֹׁסִים ^H8154 וַיָּשֹׁסּוּ ^H8155 אוֹתָם ^H853 וַֽיִּמְכְּרֵם ^H4376 בְּיַד ^H3027 ^B-CFS אֽוֹיְבֵיהֶם ^H341 מִסָּבִיב ^H5439 ^M-ADV וְלֹֽא ^H3808 ^W-NPAR ־ ^CPUN יָכְלוּ ^H3201 עוֹד ^H5750 ^ADV לַעֲמֹד ^H5975 לִפְנֵי ^H6440 ^L-CMP אוֹיְבֵיהֶֽם ^H341 ׃ ^EPUN	14. And the anger ^H639 of the LORD ^H3068 was hot ^H2734 against Israel ^H3478 , and he delivered ^H5414 them into the hands ^H3027 of spoilers ^H8154 that spoiled ^H8155 them , and he sold ^H4376 them into the hands ^H3027 of their enemies ^H341 round about ^H4480 ^H5439 , so that they could ^H3201 not ^H3808 any longer ^H5750 stand ^H5975 before ^H6440 their enemies ^H341 .
15. בְּכֹל ^H3605 ׀ ^CPUN אֲשֶׁר ^H834 ^RPRO יָצְאוּ ^H3318 ^VQQ3MP יַד ^H3027 ^CFS ־ ^CPUN יְהוָה ^H3068 ^EDS הָיְתָה ^H1961 ^VQQ3FS ־ ^CPUN בָּם ^B-PPRO-3MP לְרָעָה ^H7451 כַּֽאֲשֶׁר ^H834 ^RPRO דִּבֶּר ^H1696 ^VPQ3MS יְהוָה ^H3068 ^EDS וְכַאֲשֶׁר ^H834 ^RPRO נִשְׁבַּע ^H7650 יְהוָה ^H3068 ^EDS לָהֶם ^L-PPRO-3MP וַיֵּצֶר ^H3334 לָהֶם ^L-PPRO-3MP מְאֹֽד ^H3966 ^ADV ׃ ^EPUN	15. Whithersoever ^H3605 ^H834 they went out ^H3318 , the hand ^H3027 of the LORD ^H3068 was ^H1961 against them for evil ^H7451 , as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 had said ^H1696 , and as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 had sworn ^H7650 unto them : and they were greatly ^H3966 distressed ^H3334 .
16. וַיָּקֶם ^H6965 יְהוָה ^H3068 ^EDS שֹֽׁפְטִים ^H8199 וַיּוֹשִׁיעוּם ^H3467 מִיַּד ^H3027 ^M-GFS שֹׁסֵיהֶֽם ^H8154 ׃ ^EPUN	16. Nevertheless the LORD ^H3068 raised up ^H6965 judges ^H8199 , which delivered ^H3467 them out of the hand ^H4480 ^H3027 of those that spoiled ^H8154 them.

21. גַּם ^H1571 ^CONJ ־ ^CPUN אֲנִי ^H589 ^PPRO-1MS לֹא ^H3808 ^NADV אוֹסִיף ^H3254 ^VHY1MS לְהוֹרִישׁ ^H3423 אִישׁ ^H376 ^NMS מִפְּנֵיהֶם ^H6440 ^M-CMP-3MP מִן ^H4480 ^PREP ־ ^CPUN הַגּוֹיִם ^H1471 ^D-NMP אֲשֶׁר ^H834 ^RPRO ־ ^CPUN עָזַב ^H5800 ^VQQ3MS יְהוֹשֻׁעַ ^H3091 וַיָּמֹֽת ^H4191 ^W-VQY3MS ׃ ^EPUN	21. I ^H589 also ^H1571 will not ^H3808 henceforth ^H3254 drive out ^H3423 any ^H376 from before ^H4480 ^H6440 them of ^H4480 the nations ^H1471 which ^H834 Joshua ^H3091 left ^H5800 when he died ^H4191 :
22. לְמַעַן ^H4616 ^L-CONJ נַסּוֹת ^H5254 בָּם ^B-PPRO-3MP אֶת ^H853 ^PART ־ ^CPUN יִשְׂרָאֵל ^H3478 הֲשֹׁמְרִים ^H8104 הֵם ^H1992 ^PPRO-3MP אֶת ^H853 ^PART ־ ^CPUN דֶּרֶךְ ^H1870 ^NMS יְהוָה ^H3068 ^EDS לָלֶכֶת ^H1980 ^L-VQFC בָּם ^B-PPRO-3MP כַּאֲשֶׁר ^H834 ^K-RPRO שָׁמְרוּ ^H8104 אֲבוֹתָם ^H1 ^CMP-3MP אִם ^H518 ^PART ־ ^CPUN לֹֽא ^H3808 ^ADV ׃ ^EPUN	22. Therefore the LORD ^H3068 left ^H5117 ^H853 those ^H428 nations ^H1471 , without ^H1115 driving them out ^H3423 hastily ^H4118 ; neither ^H3808 delivered ^H5414 he them into the hand ^H3027 of Joshua ^H3091 .
