2. ଏଣୁ ଯାଜକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତାପ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହକୁ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲା ।

3. ଆଉ ଅଗ୍ନି ଓହ୍ଲାଇବା ବେଳେ ଓ ଗୃହ ଉପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତାପ ଅବସ୍ଥିତି କରିବା ବେଳେ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନ ତାହା ଦେଖିଲେ ଓ ସେମାନେ ଚଟାଣ ଉପରେ ଭୂମିରେ ମୁହଁମାଡ଼ି ପଡ଼ି ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲେ, ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରି କହିଲେ, ସେ ମଙ୍ଗଳମୟ, ତାହାଙ୍କର କରୁଣା ସଦାକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ।

5. ପୁଣି ଶଲୋମନ ରାଜା ବାଇଶ ହଜାର ଗୋରୁ ଓ ଏକ ଲକ୍ଷ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ହଜାର ମେଷ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ । ଏହିରୂପେ ରାଜା ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ପରମେଶ୍ଵରଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କଲେ ।

6. ଆଉ ଯାଜକମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପଦ ଅନୁସାରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ; ଦାଉଦ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ପରିଚର୍ଯ୍ୟାକ୍ରମେ ପ୍ରଶଂସାଗାନ କରିବା ସମୟରେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ କରୁଣା ସଦାକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ବୋଲି ତାହାଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଦାଉଦ ରାଜା ଯେଉଁସବୁ ବାଦ୍ୟଯନ୍ତ୍ର ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଥିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ସେହିସବୁ ବାଦ୍ୟଯନ୍ତ୍ର ଘେନି ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ; ପୁଣି ଯାଜକମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ତୂରୀ ବଜାଇଲେ; ଆଉ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ ।

7. ଆହୁରି ଶଲୋମନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ସମ୍ମୁଖସ୍ଥିତ ପ୍ରାଙ୍ଗଣର ମଧ୍ୟଦେଶ ପବିତ୍ର କଲେ; କାରଣ ସେ ସେଠାରେ ହୋମବଳି ଓ ମଙ୍ଗଳାର୍ଥକ ବଳିର ମେଦ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲେ; ଯେହେତୁ ଶଲୋମନ ନିର୍ମିତ ପିତ୍ତଳମୟ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦି, ହୋମବଳି ଓ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ୟ-ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଓ ମେଦକୁ ଧରି ପାରିଲା ନାହିଁ ।

8. ଏହିରୂପେ ସେସମୟରେ ଶଲୋମନ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ହମାତ୍ର ପ୍ରବେଶ-ସ୍ଥାନଠାରୁ ମିସରର ନଦୀ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ମହାସମାଜ ସାତ ଦିନ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଉତ୍ସବ କଲେ ।

9. ପୁଣି ଅଷ୍ଟମ ଦିନରେ ସେମାନେ ମହାସଭା କଲେ; କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ସାତ ଦିନ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦିର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଓ ସାତ ଦିନ ଉତ୍ସବ କଲେ ।

10. ଆଉ ସେ ସପ୍ତମ ମାସର ତେଇଶ ଦିନରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ତମ୍ଵୁକୁ ବିଦାୟ କଲେ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଓ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଓ ଆପଣା ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ପ୍ରତି ଯେଉଁ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଦେଖାଇଥିଲେ, ତହିଁ ସକାଶୁ ସେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ଓ ହୃଷ୍ଟଚିତ୍ତ ହେଲେ ।

10. 11. ଏହିରୂପେ ଶଲୋମନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ଓ ରାଜଗୃହ ସମାପ୍ତ କଲେ; ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଗୃହରେ ଯାହା ଯାହା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କର ମନକୁ ଆସିଲା, ତାହାସବୁ ସେ କୁଶଳରେ ସାଧନ କଲେ ।

11. Thus Solomon H8010 finished H3615 H853 the house H1004 of the LORD H3068 , and the king H4428 's house H1004 : and all H3605 that came H935 into H5921 Solomon H8010 's heart H3820 to make H6213 in the house H1004 of the LORD H3068 , and in his own house H1004 , he prosperously effected H6743 .

12. ଏଥି ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କୁ ରାତ୍ରିରେ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇ କହିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣିଲୁ ଓ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ବଳିଦାନର ଗୃହ ରୂପେ ଆପଣା ପାଇଁ ମନୋନୀତ କଲୁ ।

12. And the LORD H3068 appeared H7200 to H413 Solomon H8010 by night H3915 , and said H559 unto him , I have heard H8085 H853 thy prayer H8605 , and have chosen H977 this H2088 place H4725 to myself for a house H1004 of sacrifice H2077 .

13. ଆମ୍ଭେ ବୃଷ୍ଟି ନୋହିବା ପାଇଁ ଆକାଶ ରୁଦ୍ଧ କଲେ, କିଅବା ଦେଶ ବିନାଶ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ପଙ୍ଗପାଳମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ, ଅଥବା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟକୁ ମହାମାରୀ ପଠାଇଲେ,

13. If H2005 I shut up H6113 heaven H8064 that there be H1961 no H3808 rain H4306 , or if H2005 I command H6680 H5921 the locusts H2284 to devour H398 the land H776 , or if H518 I send H7971 pestilence H1698 among my people H5971 ;

14. ଯେବେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ ବିଖ୍ୟାତ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ନମ୍ର କରି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ମୁଖ ଅନ୍ଵେଷଣ କରି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା କୁପଥରୁ ଫେରିବେ, ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ଵର୍ଗରୁ ଶୁଣିବା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପାପ କ୍ଷମା କରିବା ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିବା ।

14. If my people H5971 , which H834 are called H7121 H5921 by my name H8034 , shall humble themselves H3665 , and pray H6419 , and seek H1245 my face H6440 , and turn H7725 from their wicked H7451 ways H4480 H1870 ; then will I H589 hear H8085 from H4480 heaven H8064 , and will forgive H5545 their sin H2403 , and will heal H7495 H853 their land H776 .

15. ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରାଯାଏ, ତହିଁ ପ୍ରତି ଆମ୍ଭର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନିବିଷ୍ଟ ଥିବ ।

15. Now H6258 mine eyes H5869 shall be H1961 open H6605 , and mine ears H241 attent H7183 unto the prayer H8605 that is made in this H2088 place H4725 .

16. କାରଣ ଏହି ଗୃହରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ନାମ ଅନ; କାଳ ରହିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ମନୋନୀତ ଓ ପବିତ୍ର କଲୁ; ଆଉ, ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ପ୍ରତି ଆମ୍ଭର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଚିତ୍ତ ନିରନ୍ତର ଥିବ ।

16. For now H6258 have I chosen H977 and sanctified H6942 H853 this H2088 house H1004 , that my name H8034 may be H1961 there H8033 forever H5704 H5769 : and mine eyes H5869 and mine heart H3820 shall be H1961 there H8033 perpetually H3605 H3117 .

17. ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତା ଦାଉଦ ଯେପରି ଚାଲିଲେ, ସେପରି ଯେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଚାଲିବ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେସବୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଅଛୁ, ତଦନୁସାରେ କରିବ, ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଧି ଓ ଶାସନସବୁ ପାଳନ କରିବ;

17. And as for thee H859 , if H518 thou wilt walk H1980 before H6440 me, as H834 David H1732 thy father H1 walked H1980 , and do H6213 according to all H3605 that H834 I have commanded H6680 thee , and shalt observe H8104 my statutes H2706 and my judgments H4941 ;

18. ତେବେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଉପରେ କର୍ତ୍ତୃତ୍ଵ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ଵନ୍ଧୀୟ ଲୋକର ଅଭାବ ନୋହିବ ବୋଲି ଯେଉଁ ନିୟମ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତା ଦାଉଦ ସଙ୍ଗେ କରିଅଛୁ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ରାଜସିଂହାସନ ସ୍ଥିର କରିବା ।

18. Then will I establish H6965 H853 the throne H3678 of thy kingdom H4438 , according as H834 I have covenanted H3772 with David H1732 thy father H1 , saying H559 , There shall not H3808 fail H3772 thee a man H376 to be ruler H4910 in Israel H3478 .

19. ମାତ୍ର ଯେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିମୁଖ ହେବ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ସ୍ଥାପିତ ବିଧି ଓ ଆଜ୍ଞାସବୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବ, ପୁଣି ଯାଇ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବଗଣକୁ ସେବା ଓ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବ;

19. But if H518 ye H859 turn away H7725 , and forsake H5800 my statutes H2708 and my commandments H4687 , which H834 I have set H5414 before H6440 you , and shall go H1980 and serve H5647 other H312 gods H430 , and worship H7812 them;

20. ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦତ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦେଶରୁ ସମୂଳେ ଉତ୍ପାଟନ କରିବା; ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ଗୃହକୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପବିତ୍ର କରିଅଛୁ, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଦୂର କରିବା ଓ ସକଳ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗଳ୍ପ ଓ ଉପହାସର ବିଷୟ କରିବା ।

20. Then will I pluck them up by the roots H5428 out of H4480 H5921 my land H127 which H834 I have given H5414 them ; and this H2088 house H1004 , which H834 I have sanctified H6942 for my name H8034 , will I cast out H7993 of H4480 H5921 my sight H6440 , and will make H5414 it to be a proverb H4912 and a byword H8148 among all H3605 nations H5971 .

21. ଆଉ, ଏହି ଯେ ଗୃହ ଏଡ଼େ ଉଚ୍ଚ ହୋଇଅଛି, ତହିଁ ନିକଟ ଦେଇ ଗମନକାରୀ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହୋଇ ପଚାରିବେ, ଏହି ଦେଶ ଓ ଗୃହ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କାହିଁକି ଏପରି କଲେ?

21. And this H2088 house H1004 , which H834 is H1961 high H5945 , shall be an astonishment H8074 to every one H3605 that passeth H5674 by H5921 it ; so that he shall say H559 , Why H4100 hath the LORD H3068 done H6213 thus H3602 unto this H2063 land H776 , and unto this H2088 house H1004 ?

22. ତହିଁରେ ଲୋକେ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିବେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷଗଣର ଯେଉଁ ପରମେଶ୍ଵର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଥିଲେ, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନେ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରି ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେବଗଣକୁ ଅବଲମ୍ଵନ କଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରି ସେବା କଲେ; ଏହେତୁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଏହିସବୁ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ବର୍ତ୍ତାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି ।

And it shall be answered H559 , Because H5921 H834 they forsook H5800 H853 the LORD H3068 God H430 of their fathers H1 , which H834 brought them forth H3318 out of the land H4480 H776 of Egypt H4714 , and laid hold H2388 on other H312 gods H430 , and worshiped H7812 them , and served H5647 them: therefore H5921 H3651 hath he brought H935 H853 all H3605 this H2063 evil H7451 upon H5921 them.
