NET They confronted King Uzziah and said to him, "It is not proper for you, Uzziah, to offer incense to the LORD. That is the responsibility of the priests, the descendants of Aaron, who are consecrated to offer incense. Leave the sanctuary, for you have disobeyed and the LORD God will not honor you!"
ERVEN They told Uzziah he was wrong and said to him, "Uzziah, it is not your job to burn incense to the Lord. It is not good for you to do this. The priests and Aaron's descendants are the ones who burn incense to the Lord. These priests were trained for holy service to burn incense. Go out of the Most Holy Place. You have not been faithful. The Lord God will not honor you for this."
