Genesis 27:36

• 36 ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲವೋ. ಈ ಎರಡು ಸಾರಿ ಅವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನ ವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನೂ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ನೀನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸ ಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು.

Hosea 12:3

• 3 ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರ ನನ್ನು ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಯಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ತನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಲಹೊಂದಿದನು.

Acts 7:8

• 8 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಎಂಬ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಂದ ಇಸಾ ಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಎಂಟನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಇಸಾಕನಿಂದ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು. ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಂದ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಮೂಲಪಿತೃಗಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.

Hebrews 12:16

• 16 ಯಾವ ಜಾರನಾಗಲಿ--ಏಸಾವನಂಥ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕನಾಗಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇರದಂತೆಯೂ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಯಿಂದ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಆ ಏಸಾವನು ಒಂದು ತುತ್ತನ್ನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನದ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಮಾರಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು;

• 36 ಏಸಾವನು, “ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಯಾಕೋಬ (ಮೋಸಗಾರ). ಅದೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಹೆಸರು. ಅವನು ಎರಡು ಸಲ ನನಗೆ ಮೋಸಮಾಡಿದನು. ನನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನದ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ನಂತರ ಏಸಾವನು, “ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಾವ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವೂ ಉಳಿದಿಲ್ಲವೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

Hosea 12:3

• 3 ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನಿಗೆ ಮೋಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಮಾಡಿದ್ದನು. ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಬಲಶಾಲಿಯಾದ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೋರಾಡಿದನು.

Acts 7:8

• 8 ”ದೇವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಗುರುತೇ ಸುನ್ನತಿ. ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಾಗ, ಆ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಎಂಟನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನ ಮಗನ ಹೆಸರು ಇಸಾಕ. ಇಸಾಕನು ಸಹ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಮತ್ತು ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಗಂಡುಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಈ ಗಂಡುಮಕ್ಕಳೇ ಮುಂದೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಪಿತೃಗಳಾದರು.

Hebrews 12:16

• 16 ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಲೈಂಗಿಕಪಾಪ ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದಿರಿ; ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕನಾದ ಏಸಾವನಂತೆ ಆಗದಿರಲು ಎಚ್ಚರದಿಂದಿರಿ. ಹಿರಿಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸಾವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಸಮಸ್ತಕ್ಕೂ ವಾರಸುದಾರನಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಒಂದು ಹೊತ್ತಿನ ಊಟಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಮಾರಿದನು.

Genesis 27:36

• 36 Esau said, "His name is Jacob. That is the right name for him. He has tricked me twice. He took away my rights as the firstborn son. And now he has taken away my blessing." Then Esau said, "Have you saved any blessing for me?"

Hosea 12:3

• 3 While Jacob was still in his mother's womb, he began to trick his brother. Jacob was a strong young man, and at that time he fought with God.

Acts 7:8

• 8 "God made an agreement with Abraham; the sign for this agreement was circumcision. And so when Abraham had a son, he circumcised him when he was eight days old. His son's name was Isaac. Isaac also circumcised his son Jacob. And Jacob did the same for his sons who became the twelve great ancestors of our people.

Hebrews 12:16

• 16 Be careful that no one commits sexual sin. And be careful that no one is like Esau and never thinks about God. As the oldest son, Esau would have inherited everything from his father. But he sold all that for a single meal.
