Matthew 1:20
20
But
while
he
thought
on
these
things,
behold,
the
angel
of
the
Lord
appeared
unto
him
in
a
dream,
saying,
Joseph,
thou
son
of
David,
fear
not
to
take
unto
thee
Mary
thy
wife:
for
that
which
is
conceived
in
her
is
of
the
Holy
Ghost.

33
Then
they
that

saying,

thou

the
Son
of
God.

1
The
beginning
of
the
gospel
of
Jesus
Christ,
the
Son
of
God;
2
As
it
is
written
in
the
prophets,
Behold,
I
send
my
messenger
before
thy
face,
which
shall
prepare
thy
way
before
thee.
3
The
voice
of
one
crying
in
the
wilderness,
Prepare
ye
the
way
of
the
Lord,
make
his
paths
straight.
4
John
did
baptize
in
the
wilderness,
and
preach
the
baptism
of
repentance
for
the
remission
of
sins.
5
And
there
went
out
unto
him
all
the
land
of
Judaea,
and
they
of
Jerusalem,
and
were
all
baptized
of
him
in
the
river
of
Jordan,
confessing
their
sins.
6
And
John
was
clothed
with
camel’s
hair,
and
with
a
girdle
of
a
skin
about
his
loins;
and
he
did
eat
locusts
and
wild
honey;
7
And
preached,
saying,
There
cometh
one
mightier
than
I
after
me,
the
latchet
of
whose
shoes
I
am
not
worthy
to
stoop
down
and
unloose.
8
I
indeed
have
baptized
you
with
water:
but
he
shall
baptize
you
with
the
Holy
Ghost.
9
And
it
came
to
pass
in
those
days,
that
Jesus
came
from
Nazareth
of
Galilee,
and
was
baptized
of
John
in
Jordan.
10
And
straightway
coming
up
out
of
the
water,
he
saw
the
heavens
opened,
and
the
Spirit
like
a
dove
descending
upon
him:
11
And
there
came
a
voice
from
heaven,
saying,
Thou
art
my
beloved
Son,
in
whom
I
am
well
pleased.
12
And
immediately
the
Spirit
driveth
him
into
the
wilderness.
13
And
he
was
there
in
the
wilderness
forty
days,
tempted
of
Satan;
and
was
with
the
wild
beasts;
and
the
angels
ministered
unto
him.
14
Now
after
that
John
was
put
in
prison,
Jesus
came
into
Galilee,
preaching
the
gospel
of
the
kingdom
of
God,
15
And
saying,
The
time
is
fulfilled,
and
the
kingdom
of
God
is
at
hand:
repent
ye,
and
believe
the
gospel.
16
Now
as
he
walked
by
the
sea
of
Galilee,
he
saw
Simon
and
Andrew
his
brother
casting
a
net
into
the
sea:
for
they
were
fishers.
17
And
Jesus
said
unto
them,
Come
ye
after
me,
and
I
will
make
you
to
become
fishers
of
men.
18
And
straightway
they
forsook
their
nets,
and
followed
him.
19
And
when
he
had
gone
a
little
farther
thence,
he
saw
James
the
son
of
Zebedee,
and
John
his
brother,
who
also
were
in
the
ship
mending
their
nets.
20
And
straightway
he
called
them:
and
they
left
their
father
Zebedee
in
the
ship
with
the
hired
servants,
and
went
after
him.
21
And
they
went
into
Capernaum;
and
straightway
on
the
sabbath
day
he
entered
into
the
synagogue,
and
taught.
22
And
they
were
astonished
at
his
doctrine:
for
he
taught
them
as
one
that
had
authority,
and
not
as
the
scribes.
23
And
there
was
in
their
synagogue
a
man
with
an
unclean
spirit;
and
he
cried
out,
24
Saying,
Let
us
alone;
what
have
we
to
do
with
thee,
thou
Jesus
of
Nazareth?
art
thou
come
to
destroy
us?
I
know
thee
who
thou
art,
the
Holy
One
of
God.
25
And
Jesus
rebuked
him,
saying,
Hold
thy
peace,
and
come
out
of
him.
26
And
when
the
unclean
spirit
had
torn
him,
and
cried
with
a
loud
voice,
he
came
out
of
him.
27
And
they
were
all
amazed,
insomuch
that
they
questioned
among
themselves,
saying,
What
thing
is
this?
what
new
doctrine
is
this?
for
with
authority
commandeth
he
even
the
unclean
spirits,
and
they
do
obey
him.
28
And
immediately
his
fame
spread
abroad
throughout
all
the
region
round
about
Galilee.
29
And
forthwith,
when
they
were
come
out
of
the
synagogue,
they
entered
into
the
house
of
Simon
and
Andrew,
with
James
and
John.
30
But
Simon’s
wife’s
mother
lay
sick
of
a
fever,
and
anon
they
tell
him
of
her.
31
And
he
came
and
took
her
by
the
hand,
and
lifted
her
up;
and
immediately
the
fever
left
her,
and
she
ministered
unto
them.
32
And
at
even,
when
the
sun
did
set,
they
brought
unto
him
all
that
were
diseased,
and
them
that
were
possessed
with
devils.
33
And
all
the
city
was
gathered
together
at
the
door.
34
And
he
healed
many
that
were
sick
of
divers
diseases,
and
cast
out
many
devils;
and
suffered
not
the
devils
to
speak,
because
they
knew
him.
35
And
in
the
morning,
rising
up
a
great
while
before
day,
he
went
out,
and
departed
into
a
solitary
place,
and
there
prayed.
36
And
Simon
and
they
that
were
with
him
followed
after
him.
37
And
when
they
had
found
him,
they
said
unto
him,
All
men
seek
for
thee.
38
And
he
said
unto
them,
Let
us
go
into
the
next
towns,
that
I
may
preach
there
also:
for
therefore
came
I
forth.
39
And
he
preached
in
their
synagogues
throughout
all
Galilee,
and
cast
out
devils.
40
And
there
came
a
leper
to
him,
beseeching
him,
and
kneeling
down
to
him,
and
saying
unto
him,
If
thou
wilt,
thou
canst
make
me
clean.
41
And
Jesus,
moved
with
compassion,
put
forth
his
hand,
and
touched
him,
and
saith
unto
him,
I
will;
be
thou
clean.
42
And
as
soon
as
he
had
spoken,
immediately
the
leprosy
departed
from
him,
and
he
was
cleansed.
43
And
he
straitly
charged
him,
and
forthwith
sent
him
away;
44
And
saith
unto
him,
See
thou
say
nothing
to
any
man:
but
go
thy
way,
shew
thyself
to
the
priest,
and
offer
for
thy
cleansing
those
things
which
Moses
commanded,
for
a
testimony
unto
them.
45
But
he
went
out,
and
began
to
publish
it
much,
and
to
blaze
abroad
the
matter,
insomuch
that
Jesus
could
no
more
openly
enter
into
the
city,
but
was
without
in
desert
places:
and
they
came
to
him
from
every
quarter.
John 1:34
34

1
A
beginning
of
the
good
news
of
Jesus
Christ,
Son
of
God.
2
As
it
hath
been
written
in
the
prophets,
`Lo,
I
send
My
messenger
before
thy
face,
who
shall
prepare
thy
way
before
thee,`
--
3
`A
voice
of
one
calling
in
the
wilderness,
Prepare
ye
the
way
of
the
Lord,
straight
make
ye
his
paths,`
--
4
John
came
baptizing
in
the
wilderness,
and
proclaiming
a
baptism
of
reformation
--
to
remission
of
sins,
5
and
there
were
going
forth
to
him
all
the
region
of
Judea,
and
they
of
Jerusalem,
and
they
were
all
baptized
by
him
in
the
river
Jordan,
confessing
their
sins.
6
And
John
was
clothed
with
camel's
hair,
and
a
girdle
of
skin
around
his
loins,
and
eating
locusts
and
honey
of
the
field,
7
and
he
proclaimed,
saying,
`He
doth
come
--
who
is
mightier
than
I
--
after
me,
of
whom
I
am
not
worthy
--
having
stooped
down
--
to
loose
the
latchet
of
his
sandals;
8
I
indeed
did
baptize
you
with
water,
but
he
shall
baptize
you
with
the
Holy
Spirit.`
9
And
it
came
to
pass
in
those
days,
Jesus
came
from
Nazareth
of
Galilee,
and
was
baptized
by
John
at
the
Jordan;
10
and
immediately
coming
up
from
the
water,
he
saw
the
heavens
dividing,
and
the
Spirit
as
a
dove
coming
down
upon
him;
11
and
a
voice
came
out
of
the
heavens,
`Thou
art
My
Son
--
the
Beloved,
in
whom
I
did
delight.`
12
And
immediately
doth
the
Spirit
put
him
forth
to
the
wilderness,
13
and
he
was
there
in
the
wilderness
forty
days,
being
tempted
by
the
Adversary,
and
he
was
with
the
beasts,
and
the
messengers
were
ministering
to
him.
14
And
after
the
delivering
up
of
John,
Jesus
came
to
Galilee,
proclaiming
the
good
news
of
the
reign
of
God,
15
and
saying
--
`Fulfilled
hath
been
the
time,
and
the
reign
of
God
hath
come
nigh,
reform
ye,
and
believe
in
the
good
news.`
16
And,
walking
by
the
sea
of
Galilee,
he
saw
Simon,
and
Andrew
his
brother,
casting
a
drag
into
the
sea,
for
they
were
fishers,
17
and
Jesus
said
to
them,
`Come
ye
after
me,
and
I
shall
make
you
to
become
fishers
of
men;`
18
and
immediately,
having
left
their
nets,
they
followed
him.
19
And
having
gone
on
thence
a
little,
he
saw
James
of
Zebedee,
and
John
his
brother,
and
they
were
in
the
boat
refitting
the
nets,
20
and
immediately
he
called
them,
and,
having
left
their
father
Zebedee
in
the
boat
with
the
hired
servants,
they
went
away
after
him.
21
And
they
go
on
to
Capernaum,
and
immediately,
on
the
sabbaths,
having
gone
into
the
synagogue,
he
was
teaching,
22
and
they
were
astonished
at
his
teaching,
for
he
was
teaching
them
as
having
authority,
and
not
as
the
scribes.
23
And
there
was
in
their
synagogue
a
man
with
an
unclean
spirit,
and
he
cried
out,
24
saying,
`Away!
what
--
to
us
and
to
thee,
Jesus
the
Nazarene?
thou
didst
come
to
destroy
us;
I
have
known
thee
who
thou
art
--
the
Holy
One
of
God.`
25
And
Jesus
rebuked
him,
saying,
`Be
silenced,
and
come
forth
out
of
him,`
26
and
the
unclean
spirit
having
torn
him,
and
having
cried
with
a
great
voice,
came
forth
out
of
him,
27
and
they
were
all
amazed,
so
as
to
reason
among
themselves,
saying,
`What
is
this?
what
new
teaching
is
this?
that
with
authority
also
the
unclean
spirits
he
commandeth,
and
they
obey
him!`
28
And
the
fame
of
him
went
forth
immediately
to
all
the
region,
round
about,
of
Galilee.
29
And
immediately,
having
come
forth
out
of
the
synagogue,
they
went
to
the
house
of
Simon
and
Andrew,
with
James
and
John,
30
and
the
mother-in-law
of
Simon
was
lying
fevered,
and
immediately
they
tell
him
about
her,
31
and
having
come
near,
he
raised
her
up,
having
laid
hold
of
her
hand,
and
the
fever
left
her
immediately,
and
she
was
ministering
to
them.
32
And
evening
having
come,
when
the
sun
did
set,
they
brought
unto
him
all
who
were
ill,
and
who
were
demoniacs,
33
and
the
whole
city
was
gathered
together
near
the
door,
34
and
he
healed
many
who
were
ill
of
manifold
diseases,
and
many
demons
he
cast
forth,
and
was
not
suffering
the
demons
to
speak,
because
they
knew
him.
35
And
very
early,
it
being
yet
night,
having
risen,
he
went
forth,
and
went
away
to
a
desert
place,
and
was
there
praying;
36
and
Simon
and
those
with
him
went
in
quest
of
him,
37
and
having
found
him,
they
say
to
him,
--
`All
do
seek
thee;`
38
and
he
saith
to
them,
`We
may
go
to
the
next
towns,
that
there
also
I
may
preach,
for
for
this
I
came
forth.`
39
And
he
was
preaching
in
their
synagogues,
in
all
Galilee,
and
is
casting
out
the
demons,
40
and
there
doth
come
to
him
a
leper,
calling
on
him,
and
kneeling
to
him,
and
saying
to
him
--
`If
thou
mayest
will,
thou
art
able
to
cleanse
me.`
41
And
Jesus
having
been
moved
with
compassion,
having
stretched
forth
the
hand,
touched
him,
and
saith
to
him,
`I
will;
be
thou
cleansed;`
42
and
he
having
spoken,
immediately
the
leprosy
went
away
from
him,
and
he
was
cleansed.
43
And
having
sternly
charged
him,
immediately
he
put
him
forth,
44
and
saith
to
him,
`See
thou
mayest
say
nothing
to

one,
but

to
the
priest,
and

for
thy
cleansing
the
things

directed,
for

testimony
to
them.`
45
And
he,
having
gone
forth,
began
to
proclaim
much,
and
to
spread
abroad
the
thing,
so
that
no
more
he
was
able
openly
to

he
was

it
is
written
in
Isaiah
the
prophet,
Behold,
I
send
my
messenger
before
thy
face,
Who
shall
prepare
thy
way.

The

of

crying
in
the
wilderness,
Make

4
John
came,
who
baptized
in
the
wilderness
and
preached
the
baptism
of
repentance
unto
remission
of
sins.
5
And
there
went
out
unto
him
all
the
country
of
Judaea,
and
all
they
of
Jerusalem;
And
they
were
baptized
of
him
in
the
river
Jordan,
confessing
their
sins.
6
And
John
was
clothed
with
camels
hair,
and
had
a
leathern
girdle
about
his
loins,
and
did
eat
locusts
and
wild
honey.
7
And
he
preached,
saying,
There
cometh
after
me
he
that
is
mightier
than
I,
the
latchet
of
whose
shoes
I
am
not
worthy
to
stoop
down
and
unloose.
8
I
baptized
you
in
water;
But
he
shall
baptize
you
in
the
Holy
Spirit.
9
And
it
came
to
pass
in
those
days,
that
Jesus
came
from
Nazareth
of
Galilee,
and
was
baptized
of
John
in
the
Jordan.
10
And
straightway
coming
up
out
of
the
water,
he
saw
the
heavens
rent
asunder,
and
the
Spirit
as
a
dove
descending
upon
him:
11
And
a
voice
came
out
of
the
heavens,
Thou
art
my
beloved
Son,
in
thee
I
am
well
pleased.
12
And
straightway
the
Spirit
driveth
him
forth
into
the
wilderness.
13
And
he
was
in
the
wilderness
forty
days
tempted
of
Satan;
And
he
was
with
the
wild
beasts;
And
the
angels
ministered
unto
him.
14
Now
after
John
was
delivered
up,
Jesus
came
into
Galilee,
preaching
the
gospel
of
God,
15
and
saying,
The
time
is
fulfilled,
and
the
kingdom
of
God
is
at
hand:
repent
ye,
and
believe
in
the
gospel.
16
And
passing
along
by
the
sea
of
Galilee,
he
saw
Simon
and
Andrew
the
brother
of
Simon
casting
a
net
in
the
sea;
for
they
were
fishers.
17
And
Jesus
said
unto
them,
Come
ye
after
me,
and
I
will
make
you
to
become
fishers
of
men.
18
And
straightway
they
left
the
nets,
and
followed
him.
19
And
going
on
a
little
further,
he
saw
James
the
son
of
Zebedee,
and
John
his
brother,
who
also
were
in
the
boat
mending
the
nets.
20
And
straightway
he
called
them:
and
they
left
their
father
Zebedee
in
the
boat
with
the
hired
servants,
and
went
after
him.
21
And
they
go
into
Capernaum;
and
straightway
on
the
sabbath
day
he
entered
into
the
synagogue
and
taught.
22
And
they
were
astonished
at
his
teaching:
For
he
taught
them
as
having
authority,
and
not
as
the
scribes.
23
And
straightway
there
was
in
their
synagogue
a
man
with
an
unclean
spirit;
and
he
cried
out,
24
saying,
What
have
we
to
do
with
thee,
Jesus
thou
Nazarene?
art
thou
come
to
destroy
us?
I
know
thee
who
thou
art,
the
Holy
One
of
God.
25
And
Jesus
rebuked
him,
saying,
Hold
thy
peace,
and
come
out
of
him.
26
And
the
unclean
spirit,
tearing
him
and
crying
with
a
loud
voice,
came
out
of
him.
27
And
they
were
all
amazed,
insomuch
that
they
questioned
among
themselves,
saying,
What
is
this?
a
new
teaching!
with
authority
he
commandeth
even
the
unclean
spirits,
and
they
obey
him.
28
And
the
report
of
him
went
out
straightway
everywhere
into
all
the
region
of
Galilee
round
about.
29
And
straightway,
when
they
were
come
out
of
the
synagogue,
they
came
into
the
house
of
Simon
and
Andrew,
with
James
and
John.
30
Now
Simons
wifes
mother
lay
sick
of
a
fever;
and
straightway
they
tell
him
of
her:
31
and
he
came
and
took
her
by
the
hand,
and
raised
her
up;
and
the
fever
left
her,
and
she
ministered
unto
them.
32
And
at
even,
when
the
sun
did
set,
they
brought
unto
him
all
that
were
sick,
and
them
that
were
possessed
with
demons.
33
And
all
the
city
was
gathered
together
at
the
door.
34
And
he
healed
many
that
were
sick
with
divers
diseases,
and
cast
out
many
demons;
and
he
suffered
not
the
demons
to
speak,
because
they
knew
him.
35
And
in
the
morning,
a
great
while
before
day,
he
rose
up
and
went
out,
and
departed
into
a
desert
place,
and
there
prayed.
36
And
Simon
and
they
that
were
with
him
followed
after
him;
37
and
they
found
him,
and
say
unto
him,
All
are
seeking
thee.
38
And
he
saith
unto
them,
Let
us
go
elsewhere
into
the
next
towns,
that
I
may
preach
there
also;
for
to
this
end
came
I
forth.
39
And
he
went
into
their
synagogues
throughout
all
Galilee,
preaching
and
casting
out
demons.
40
And
there
cometh
to
him
a
leper,
beseeching
him,
and
kneeling
down
to
him,
and
saying
unto
him,
If
thou
wilt,
thou
canst
make
me
clean.
41
And
being
moved
with
compassion,
he
stretched
forth
his
hand,
and
touched
him,
and
saith
unto
him,
I
will;
be
thou
made
clean.
42
And
straightway
the
leprosy
departed
from
him,
and
he
was
made
clean.
43
And
he
strictly
charged
him,
and
straightway
sent
him
out,
44
and
saith
unto
him,
See
thou
say
nothing
to
any
man:
but
go
show
thyself
to
the
priest,
and
offer
for
thy
cleansing
the
things
which
Moses
commanded,
for
a
testimony
unto
them.
45
But
he
went
out,
and
began
to
publish
it
much,
and
to
spread
abroad
the
matter,
insomuch
that
Jesus
could
no

And
John
was
clothed
with
camel-s
hair,
and

a
leathern
girdle
about
his
loins,
and
did
eat
locusts
and
wild
honey.
7
And
he
preached,
saying,
There
cometh
after
me
he
that
is
mightier
than
I,
the
latchet
of
whose
shoes
I
am
not
worthy
to
stoop
down
and
unloose.
8
I
baptized
you
with
water;
but
he
shall
baptize
you
with
the
Holy

9
And
it
came
to
pass
in
those
days,
that
Jesus
came
from
Nazareth
of
Galilee,
and
was
baptized
of
John
in
the
Jordan.
10
And
straightway
coming
up
out
of
the
water,
he
saw
the
heavens
rent
asunder,
and
the
Spirit
as
a
dove
descending
upon
him:
11
And
a
voice
came
out
of
the
heavens,
Thou
art
my
beloved
Son,
in
thee
I
am
well
pleased.
12
And
straightway
the
Spirit
driveth
him
forth
into
the
wilderness.
13
And
he
was
in
the
wilderness
forty
days
tempted
of
Satan;
and
he
was
with
the
wild
beasts;
and
the
angels
ministered
unto
him.
14
Now
after
that
John
was
delivered
up,
Jesus
came
into
Galilee,
preaching
the
gospel
of
God,
15
and
saying,
The
time
is
fulfilled,
and
the
kingdom
of
God
is
at
hand:
repent
ye,
and
believe
in
the
gospel.
16
And
passing
along
by
the
sea
of
Galilee,
he
saw
Simon
and
Andrew
the
brother
of
Simon
casting
a
net
in
the
sea:
for
they
were
fishers.
17
And
Jesus
said
unto
them,
Come
ye
after
me,
and
I
will
make
you
to
become
fishers
of
men.
18
And
straightway
they
left
the
nets,
and
followed
him.
19
And
going
on
a
little
further,
he
saw
James
the
{cf15i
son}
of
Zebedee,
and
John
his
brother,
who
also
were
in
the
boat
mending
the
nets.
20
And
straightway
he
called
them:
and
they
left
their
father
Zebedee
in
the
boat
with
the
hired
servants,
and
went
after
him.
21
And
they
go
into
Capernaum;
and
straightway
on
the
sabbath
day
he
entered
into
the
synagogue
and
taught.
22
And
they
were
astonished
at
his
teaching:
for
he
taught
them
as
having
authority,
and
not
as
the
scribes.
23
And
straightway
there
was
in
their
synagogue
a
man
with
an
unclean
spirit;
and
he
cried
out,
24
saying,
What
have
we
to
do
with
thee,
thou
Jesus
of
Nazareth?
art
thou
come
to
destroy
us?
I
know
thee
who
thou
art,
the
Holy
One
of
God.
25
And
Jesus
rebuked
him,
saying,
Hold
thy
peace,
and
come
out
of
him.
26
And
the
unclean
spirit,
tearing
him
and
crying
with
a
loud
voice,
came
out
of
him.
27
And
they
were
all
amazed,
insomuch
that
they
questioned
among
themselves,
saying,
What
is
this?
a
new
teaching!
with
authority
he
commandeth
even
the
unclean
spirits,
and
they
obey
him.
28
And
the
report
of
him
went
out
straightway
everywhere
into
all
the
region
of
Galilee
round
about.
29
And
straightway,
when
they
were
come
out
of
the
synagogue,
they
came
into
the
house
of
Simon
and
Andrew,
with
James
and
John.
30
Now
Simon-s
wife-s
mother
lay
sick
of
a
fever;
and
straightway
they
tell
him
of
her:
31
and
he
came
and
took
her
by
the
hand,
and
raised
her
up;
and
the
fever
left
her,
and
she
ministered
unto
them.
32
And
at
even,
when
the
sun
did
set,
they
brought
unto
him
all
that
were
sick,
and
them
that
were
possessed
with
devils.
33
And
all
the
city
was
gathered
together
at
the
door.
34
And
he
healed
many
that
were
sick
with
divers
diseases,
and
cast
out
many
devils;
and
he
suffered
not
the
devils
to
speak,
because
they
knew
him.
35
And
in
the
morning,
a
great
while
before
day,
he
rose
up
and
went
out,
and
departed
into
a
desert
place,
and
there
prayed.
36
And
Simon
and
they
that
were
with
him
followed
after
him;
37
and
they
found
him,
and
say
unto
him,
All
are
seeking
thee.
38
And
he
saith
unto
them,
Let
us
go
elsewhere
into
the
next
towns,
that
I
may
preach
there
also;
for
to
this
end
came
I
forth.
39
And
he
went
into
their
synagogues
throughout
all
Galilee,
preaching
and
casting
out
devils.
40
And
there
cometh
to
him
a
leper,
beseeching
him,
and
kneeling
down
to
him,
and
saying
unto
him,
If
thou
wilt,
thou
canst
make
me
clean.
41
And
being
moved
with
compassion,
he
stretched
forth
his
hand,
and
touched
him,
and
saith
unto
him,
I
will;
be
thou
made
clean.
42
And
straightway
the
leprosy
departed
from
him,
and
he
was
made
clean.
43
And
he
strictly
charged
him,
and
straightway
sent
him
out,
44
and
saith
unto
him,
See
thou
say
nothing
to
any
man:
but
go
thy
way,
shew
thyself
to
the
priest,
and
offer
for
thy
cleansing
the
things
which
Moses
commanded,
for
a

unto
them.

he

to

his
waist,
and
he
ate
locusts
and
wild
honey.
7
He
proclaimed,
"One
more
powerful
than
I
am
is
coming
after
me;
I
am
not
worthy
to
bend
down
and
untie
the
strap
of
his
sandals.
8
I
baptize
you
with
water,
but
he
will
baptize
you
with
the
Holy
Spirit."
9
Now
in
those
days
Jesus
came
from
Nazareth
in
Galilee
and
was
baptized
by
John
in
the
Jordan
River.
10
And
just
as
Jesus
was
coming
up
out
of
the
water,
he
saw
the
heavens
splitting
apart
and
the
Spirit
descending
on
him
like
a
dove.
11
And
a
voice
came
from
heaven:
"You
are
my
one
dear
Son;
in
you
I
take
great
delight."
12
The
Spirit
immediately
drove
him
into
the
wilderness.
13
He
was
in
the
wilderness
forty
days,
enduring
temptations
from
Satan.
He
was
with
wild
animals,
and
angels
were
ministering
to
his
needs.
14
Now
after
John
was
imprisoned,
Jesus
went
into
Galilee
and
proclaimed
the
gospel
of
God.
15
He
said,
"The
time
is
fulfilled
and
the
kingdom
of
God
is
near.
Repent
and
believe
the
gospel!"
16
As
he
went
along
the
Sea
of
Galilee,
he
saw
Simon
and
Andrew,
Simon's
brother,
casting
a
net
into
the
sea
(for
they
were
fishermen).
17
Jesus
said
to
them,
"Follow
me,
and
I
will
turn
you
into
fishers
of
people."
18
They
left
their
nets
immediately
and
followed
him.
19
Going
on
a
little
farther,
he
saw
James,
the
son
of
Zebedee,
and
John
his
brother
in
their
boat
mending
nets.
20
Immediately
he
called
them,
and
they
left
their
father
Zebedee
in
the
boat
with
the
hired
men
and
followed
him.
21
Then
they
went
to
Capernaum.
When
the
Sabbath
came,
Jesus
went
into
the
synagogue
and
began
to
teach.
22
The
people
there
were
amazed
by
his
teaching,
because
he
taught
them
like
one
who
had
authority,
not
like
the
experts
in
the
law.
23
Just
then
there
was
a
man
in
their
synagogue
with
an
unclean
spirit,
and
he
cried
out,
24
"Leave
us
alone,
Jesus
the
Nazarene!
Have
you
come
to
destroy
us?
I
know
who
you
are—
the
Holy
One
of
God!"
25
But
Jesus
rebuked
him:
"Silence!
Come
out
of
him!"
26
After
throwing
him
into
convulsions,
the
unclean
spirit
cried
out
with
a
loud
voice
and
came
out
of
him.
27
They
were
all
amazed
so
that
they
asked
each
other,
"What
is
this?
A
new
teaching
with
authority!
He
even
commands
the
unclean
spirits
and
they
obey
him."
28
So
the
news
about
him
spread
quickly
throughout
all
the
region
around
Galilee.
29
Now
as
soon
as
they
left
the
synagogue,
they
entered
Simon
and
Andrew's
house,
with
James
and
John.
30
Simon's
mother-in-law
was
lying
down,
sick
with
a
fever,
so
they
spoke
to
Jesus
at
once
about
her.
31
He
came
and
raised
her
up
by
gently
taking
her
hand.
Then
the
fever
left
her
and
she
began
to
serve
them.
32
When
it
was
evening,
after
sunset,
they
brought
to
him
all
who
were
sick
and
demon-possessed.
33
The
whole
town
gathered
by
the
door.
34
So
he
healed
many
who
were
sick
with
various
diseases
and
drove
out
many
demons.
But
he
would
not
permit
the
demons
to
speak,
because
they
knew
him.
35
Then
Jesus
got
up
early
in
the
morning
when
it
was
still
very
dark,
departed,
and
went
out
to
a
deserted
place,
and
there
he
spent
time
in
prayer.
36
Simon
and
his
companions
searched
for
him.
37
When
they
found
him,
they
said,
"Everyone
is
looking
for
you."
38
He
replied,
"Let
us
go
elsewhere,
into
the
surrounding
villages,
so
that
I
can
preach
there
too.
For
that
is
what
I
came
out
here
to
do."
39
So
he
went
into
all
of
Galilee
preaching
in
their
synagogues
and
casting
out
demons.
40
Now
a
leper
came
to
him
and
fell
to
his
knees,
asking
for
help.
"If
you
are
willing,
you
can
make
me
clean,"
he
said.
41
Moved
with
compassion,
Jesus
stretched
out
his
hand
and
touched
him,
saying,
"I
am
willing.
Be
clean!"
42
The
leprosy
left
him
at
once,
and
he
was
clean.
43
Immediately
Jesus
sent
the
man
away
with
a
very
strong
warning.
44
He
told
him,
"See
that
you
do
not
say
anything
to
anyone,
but
go,
show
yourself
to
a
priest,
and
bring
the
offering
that
Moses
commanded
for
your
cleansing,
as
a
testimony
to
them."
45
But
as
the
man
went
out
he
began
to
announce
it
publicly
and
spread
the
story
widely,
so
that
Jesus
was
no
longer
able
to
enter
any
town
openly
but
stayed
outside
in
remote
places.
Still
they
kept
coming
to
him
from
everywhere.

both
seen
and
testified
that

man

But
these
are

so
that
you

that

The
Good
News
about
Jesus
Christ,
the
Son
of
God,
begins
2
with
what
the
prophet
Isaiah
said
would
happen.
He
wrote:
"Listen!
I
will
send
my
messenger
ahead
of
you.
He
will
prepare
the
way
for
you."
3
"There
is
someone
shouting
in
the
desert:
'Prepare
the
way
for
the
Lord.
Make
the
road
straight
for
him.'"
4
So
John
the
Baptizer
came
and
was
baptizing
people
in
the
desert
area.
He
told
them
to
be
baptized
to
show
that
they
wanted
to
change
their
lives,
and
then
their
sins
would
be
forgiven.
5
All
the
people
from
Judea,
including
everyone
from
Jerusalem,
came
out
to
John.
They
confessed
the
bad
things
they
had
done,
and
he
baptized
them
in
the
Jordan
River.
6
John
wore
clothes
made
from
camel's
hair
and
a
leather
belt
around
his
waist.
He
ate
locusts
and
wild
honey.
7
This
is
what
John
told
the
people:
"There
is
someone
coming
later
who
is
able
to
do
more
than
I
can.
I
am
not
good
enough
to
be
the
slave
who
stoops

to
untie
his
sandals.
8
I
baptize
you
with
water,
but
the
one
who
is
coming
will
baptize
you
with
the
Holy
Spirit.
"
9
About
that
time
Jesus
came
from
the
town
of
Nazareth
in
Galilee
to
the
place
where
John
was.
John
baptized
Jesus
in
the
Jordan
River.
10
As
Jesus
was
coming
up
out
of
the
water,
he
saw
the
sky
torn
open.
The
Spirit
came
down
on
him
like
a
dove.
11
A
voice
came
from
heaven
and
said,
"You
are
my
Son,
the
one
I
love.
I
am
very
pleased
with
you."
12
Then
the
Spirit
sent
Jesus
into
the
desert
alone.
13
He
was
there
for
40
days,
being
tempted
by
Satan.
During
this
time
he
was
out
among
the
wild
animals.
Then
angels
came
and
helped
him.
14
After
John
was
put
in
prison,
Jesus
went
into
Galilee
and
told
people
the
Good
News
from
God.
15
He
said,
"The
right
time
is
now
here.
God's
kingdom
is
near.
Change
your
hearts
and
lives,
and
believe
the
Good
News!"
16
Jesus
was
walking
by
Lake
Galilee.
He
saw
Simon
and
his
brother,
Andrew.
These
two
men
were
fishermen,
and
they
were
throwing
a
net
into
the
lake
to
catch
fish.
17
Jesus
said
to
them,
"Come,
follow
me,
and
I
will
make
you
a
different
kind
of
fishermen.
You
will
bring
in
people,
not
fish."
18
So
they
immediately
left
their
nets
and
followed
Jesus.
19
Jesus
continued
walking
by
Lake
Galilee.
He
saw
two
more
brothers,
James
and
John,
the
sons
of
Zebedee.
They
were
in
their
boat,
preparing
their
nets
to
catch
fish.
20
Their
father
Zebedee
and
the
men
who
worked
for
him
were
in
the
boat
with
the
brothers.
When
Jesus
saw
the
brothers,
he
told
them
to
come.
They
left
their
father
and
followed
Jesus.
21
Jesus
and
his
followers
went
to
Capernaum.
On
the
Sabbath
day,
Jesus
went
into
the
synagogue
and
taught
the
people.
22
They
were
amazed
at
his
teaching.
He
did
not
teach
like
their
teachers
of
the
law.
He
taught
like
someone
with
authority.
23
While
Jesus
was
in
the
synagogue,
a
man
was
there
who
had
an
evil
spirit
inside
him.
The
man
shouted,
24
"Jesus
of
Nazareth!
What
do
you
want
with
us?
Did
you
come
to
destroy
us?
I
know
who
you
are—
God's
Holy
One!"
25
Jesus,
his
voice
full
of
warning,
said,
"Be
quiet,
and
come
out
of
him!"
26
The
evil
spirit
made
the
man
shake.
Then
the
spirit
made
a
loud
noise
and
came
out
of
him.
27
The
people
were
amazed.
They
asked
each
other,
"What
is
happening
here?
This
man
is
teaching
something
new,
and
he
teaches
with
authority!
He
even
commands
evil
spirits,
and
they
obey
him."
28
So
the
news
about
Jesus
spread
quickly
everywhere
in
the
area
of
Galilee.
29
Jesus
and
the
followers
left
the
synagogue.
They
all
went
with
James
and
John
to
the
home
of
Simon
and
Andrew.
30
Simon's
mother-in-law
was
very
sick.
She
was
in
bed
and
had
a
fever.
The
people
there
told
Jesus
about
her.
31
So
he
went
to
her
bed.
Jesus
held
her
hand
and
helped
her
stand
up.
The
fever
left
her,
and
she
was
healed.
Then
she
began
serving
them.
32
That
night,
after
the
sun
went
down,
the
people
brought
to
Jesus
many
who
were
sick.
They
also
brought
those
who
had
demons
inside
them.
33
Everyone
in
the
town
gathered
at
the
door
of
that
house.
34
Jesus
healed
many
of
those
who
had
different
kinds
of
sicknesses.
He
also
forced
many
demons
out
of
people.
But
he
would
not
allow
the
demons
to
speak,
because
they
knew
who
he
was.
35
The
next
morning
Jesus
woke
up
very
early.
He
left
the
house
while
it
was
still
dark
and
went
to
a
place
where
he
could
be
alone
and
pray.
36
Later,
Simon
and
his
friends
went
to
look
for
Jesus.
37
They
found
him
and
said,
"Everyone
is
looking
for
you!"
38
Jesus
answered,
"We
should
go
to
another
place.
We
can
go
to
other
towns
around
here,
and
I
can
tell
God's
message
to
those
people
too.
That
is
why
I
came."
39
So
Jesus
traveled
everywhere
in
Galilee.
He
spoke
in
the
synagogues,
and
he
forced
demons
out
of
people.
40
A
man
who
had
leprosy
came
to
Jesus.
The
man
bowed
on
his
knees
and
begged
him,
"You
have
the
power
to
heal
me
if
you
want."
41
Jesus
felt
sorry
for
the
man.
So
he
touched
him
and
said,
"I
want
to
heal
you.
Be
healed!"
42
Immediately
the
leprosy
disappeared,
and
the
man
was
healed.
43
Jesus
told
the
man
to
go,
but
he
gave
him
a
strong
warning:
44
"Don't
tell
anyone
about
what
I
did
for
you.
But
go
and
show
yourself
to
the
priest.
And
offer
a
gift
to
God
because
you
have
been
healed.
Offer
the
gift
that
Moses
commanded.
This
will
show
everyone
that
you
are
healed."
45
The
man
left
there
and
told
everyone
he
saw
that
Jesus
had
healed
him.
So
the
news
about
Jesus
spread.
And
that
is
why
he
could
not
enter
a
town
if
people
saw
him.
He
stayed
in
places
where
people
did
not
live.
But
people
came
from
all
the
towns
to
the
places
where
he
was.

this
is
what
I
tell
people:
'He
is
the
Son
of

that

by

life

him.
His
food
was
locusts
and
wild
honey.
7
He
preached,
saying,
"One
is
coming
after
me
Who
is
greater
than
I.
I
am
not
good
enough
to
get
down
and
help
Him
take
off
His
shoes.
8
I
have
baptized
you
with
water.
But
He
will
baptize
you
with
the
Holy
Spirit."
9
Jesus
came
to
the
Jordan
River
from
the
town
of
Nazareth
in
the
country
of
Galilee.
He
was
baptized
by
John.
10
As
soon
as
Jesus
came
up
out
of
the
water,
He
saw
heaven
open
up.
The
Holy
Spirit
came
down
on
Him
like
a
dove.
11
A
voice
came
from
heaven
and
said,
"You
are
My
muchloved
Son.
I
am
very
happy
with
You."
12
At
once
the
Holy
Spirit
sent
Jesus
to
a
desert.
13
He
was
tempted
by
Satan
for
forty
days
there.
He
was
with
wild
animals
but
angels
took
care
of
Him.
14
After
John
the
Baptist
was
put
in
prison,
Jesus
came
to
the
country
of
Galilee.
He
preached
the
Good
News
of
God.
15
He
said,
"The
time
has
come.
The
holy
nation
of
God
is
near.
Be
sorry
for
your
sins,
turn
from
them,
and
believe
the
Good
News."
16
Jesus
was
walking
by
the
Sea
of
Galilee.
He
saw
Simon
and
his
brother
Andrew
putting
a
net
into
the
sea.
They
were
fishermen.
17
Jesus
said
to
them,
"Follow
Me.
I
will
make
you
fish
for
men!"
18
At
once
they
left
their
nets
and
followed
Him.
19
Jesus
went
on
a
little
farther.
He
saw
James
and
his
brother
John
who
were
sons
of
Zebedee.
They
were
in
a
boat
mending
their
nets.
20
Jesus
called
them
and
they
left
their
father
Zebedee.
He
was
in
the
boat
with
men
who
were
working
for
him.
21
Jesus
and
His
followers
went
to
the
city
of
Capernaum
on
the
Day
of
Rest.
They
went
to
the
Jewish
place
of
worship
where
Jesus
taught
the
people.
22
The
people
were
surprised
and
wondered
about
His
teaching.
He
taught
them
as
One
Who
had
the
right
and
the
power
to
teach
and
not
as
the
teachers
of
the
Law.
23
There
was
a
man
in
the
Jewish
place
of
worship
who
had
a
demon.
The
demon
cried
out,
24
"What
do
You
want
of
us,
Jesus
of
Nazareth?
Have
You
come
to
destroy
us?
I
know
Who
You
are.
You
are
the
Holy
One
of
God."
25
Jesus
spoke
sharp
words
to
the
demon
and
said,
"Do
not
talk!
Come
out
of
the
man!"
26
The
demon
threw
the
man
down
and
gave
a
loud
cry.
Then
he
came
out
of
him.
27
The
people
were
all
surprised
and
wondered.
They
asked
each
other,
"What
is
this?
Is
this
a
new
teaching?
He
speaks
with
power
even
to
the
demons
and
they
obey
Him!"
28
At
once
the
news
about
Jesus
went
through
all
the
country
around
Galilee.
29
Jesus
and
His
followers
came
out
of
the
Jewish
place
of
worship.
Then
they
went
to
the
house
of
Simon
and
Andrew.
James
and
John
went
with
them.
30
They
told
Jesus
about
Simon's
mother-in-law
who
was
in
bed,
very
sick.
31
He
went
and
took
her
by
the
hand
and
raised
her
up.
At
once
her
sickness
was
gone.
She
got
up
and
cared
for
them.
32
In
the
evening
as
the
sun
went
down,
the
people
took
all
who
were
sick
to
Jesus.
They
took
those
who
had
demons
to
Him.
33
All
the
town
gathered
at
the
door.
34
Jesus
healed
those
who
were
sick
of
many
kinds
of
diseases.
He
put
out
many
demons.
Jesus
would
not
allow
the
demons
to
speak
because
they
knew
Who
He
was.
35
In
the
morning
before
the
sun
was
up,
Jesus
went
to
a
place
where
He
could
be
alone.
He
prayed
there.
36
Simon
and
the
others
looked
for
Jesus.
37
They
found
Him
and
said,
"All
the
people
are
looking
for
You."
38
Jesus
said
to
the
followers,
"Let
us
go
to
the
towns
near
here
so
I
can
preach
there
also.
That
is
why
I
came."
39
He
went
through
Galilee.
He
preached
in
their
places
of
worship
and
put
out
demons.
40
A
man
came
to
Jesus
with
a
bad
skin
disease.
This
man
got
down
on
his
knees
and
begged
Jesus,
saying,
"If
You
want
to,
You
can
heal
me."
41
Jesus
put
His
hand
on
him
with
loving-pity.
He
said,
"I
want
to.
Be
healed."
42
At
once
the
disease
was
gone
and
the
man
was
healed.
43
Jesus
spoke
strong
words
to
the
man
before
He
sent
him
away.
44
He
said
to
him,
"Tell
no
one
about
this.
Go
and
let
the
religious
leader
of
the
Jews
see
you.
Give
the
gifts
Moses
has
told
you
to
give
when
a
man
is
healed
of
a
disease.
Let
the
leaders
know
you
have
been
healed."
45
But
the
man
went
out
and
talked
about
it
everywhere.
After
this
Jesus
could
not
go
to
any
town
if
people
knew
He
was
there.
He
had
to
stay
in
the
desert.
People
came
to
Him
from
everywhere.
John 1:34
34
I
saw
this
happen.
I
am
now
saying
that
Jesus
is
the
Son
of
God."
John 20:31
31
But
these
are
written
so
you
may
believe
that
Jesus
is
the
Christ,
the
Son
of
God.
When
you
put
your
trust
in
Him,
you
will
have
life
that
lasts
forever
through
His
name.
Acts 8:37

(*Philip

you

with
all
your

you

"There

who
is
greater

I;
I
am
not
good

9
At
that
time
Jesus
came
from
the
town
of
Nazareth
in
Galilee
and
was
baptized
by
John
in
the
Jordan
River.
10
Immediately,
as
Jesus
was
coming
up
out
of
the

he
saw
heaven
open.
The
Holy
Spirit
came
down
on
him
like

11
and
a
voice
came

"You

whom
I

and

Then
the

sent
Jesus

the
desert.
13
He
was
in
the
desert
forty
days
and
was
tempted
by
Satan.
He
was
with
the
wild
animals,
and
the
angels

After
John
was
put
in

Jesus
went
into
Galilee,
preaching
the
Good

from
God.
15
He
said,
"The
right
time

The
kingdom
of
God
is
near.
Change
your
hearts
and
lives
and

16
When
Jesus
was
walking
by
Lake
Galilee,
he
saw
Simonn
and
his
brother
Andrew
throwing
a
net
into
the
lake
because
they
were
fishermen.
17
Jesus
said
to
them,
"Come
follow
me,
and
I
will
make
you
fish
for
people."
18
So
Simon
and
Andrew
immediately
left
their
nets
and
followed
him.
19
Going
a
little
farther,
Jesus
saw
two
more
brothers,
James
and
John,
the
sons
of
Zebedee.
They
were
in
a
boat,
mending
their
nets.
20
Jesus
immediately
called
them,
and
they
left
their
father
in
the
boat
with
the
hired
workers
and
followed
Jesus.
21
Jesus
and
his
followers
went
to
Capernaum.
On
the
Sabbath
day
He
went
to
the
synagogue
and
began
to
teach.
22
The
people
were
amazed
at
his
teaching,
because
he
taught
like
a
person
who
had
authority,
not
like
their
teachers
of
the
law.
23
Just
then,
a
man
was
there
in
the
synagogue
who
had
an
evil
spirit
in
him.
He
shouted,
24
"Jesus
of
Nazareth!
What
do
you
want
with
us?
Did
you
come
to
destroy
us?
I
know
who
you
are
--
God's
Holy
One!"
25
Jesus
commanded
the
evil
spirit,
"Be
quiet!
Come
out
of
the
man!"
26
The
evil
spirit
shook
the
man
violently,
gave
a
loud
cry,
and
then
came
out
of
him.
27
The
people
were
so
amazed
they
asked
each
other,
"What
is
happening
here?
This
man
is
teaching
something
new,
and
with
authority.
He
even
gives
commands
to
evil
spirits,
and
they
obey
him."
28
And
the
news
about
Jesus
spread
quickly
everywhere
in
the
area
of
Galilee.
29
As
soon
as
Jesus
and
his
followers
left
the
synagogue,
they
went
with
James
and
John
to
the
home
of
Simonn
and
Andrew.
30
Simon's
mother-in-law
was
sick
in
bed
with
a
fever,
and
the
people
told
Jesus
about
her.
31
So
Jesus
went
to
her
bed,
took
her
hand,
and
helped
her
up.
The
fever
left
her,
and
she
began
serving
them.
32
That
evening,
after
the
sun
went
down,
the
people
brought
to
Jesus
all
who
were
sick
and
had
demons
in
them.
33
The
whole
town
gathered
at
the
door.
34
Jesus
healed
many
who
had
different
kinds
of
sicknesses,
and
he
forced
many
demons
to
leave
people.
But
he
would
not
allow
the
demons
to
speak,
because
they
knew
who
he
was.
35
Early
the
next
morning,
while
it
was
still
dark,
Jesus
woke
and
left
the
house.
He
went
to
a
lonely
place,
where
he
prayed.
36
Simon
and
his
friends
went
to
look
for
Jesus.
37
When
they
found
him,
they
said,
"Everyone
is
looking
for
you!"
38
Jesus
answered,
"We
should
go
to
other
towns
around
here
so
I
can
preach
there
too.
That
is
the
reason
I
came."
39
So
he
went
everywhere
in
Galilee,
preaching
in
the
synagogues
and
forcing
out
demons.
40
A
man
with
a
skin
disease
came
to
Jesus.
He
fell
to
his
knees
and
begged
Jesus,
"You
can
heal
me
if
you
will."
41
Jesus
felt
sorry
for
the
man,
so
he
reached
out
his
hand
and
touched
him
and
said,
"I
will.
Be
healed!"
42
Immediately
the
disease
left
the
man,
and
he
was
healed.
43
Jesus
told
the
man
to
go
away
at
once,
but
he
warned
him
strongly,
44
"Don't
tell
anyone
about
this.
But
go
and
show
yourself
to
the
priest.
And
offer
the
gift
Moses
commanded
for
people
who
are
made
well.
This
will
show
the
people
what
I
have
done."
45
The
man
left
there,
but
he
began
to
tell
everyone
that
Jesus
had
healed
him,
and
so
he
spread
the
news
about
Jesus.
As
a
result,
Jesus
could
not
enter
a
town
if
people
saw
him.
He
stayed
in
places
where
nobody
lived,
but
people
came
to
him
from
everywhere.

He

and

coming

a

upon
Him.

And
there
was
a
voice
out
of
the
heavens,
You
are
My
Son,
the
Beloved,
in
whom
I
have
been
delighting.

12
And
the
Spirit
at
once
drove
Him
out
into
the
wilderness.
13
And
He
was
there
in
the
wilderness
forty
days,
being
tempted
by
Satan,
and
was
with
the
wild
beasts.
And
the
angels
ministered
to
Him.
14
And
after
John
was
delivered
up,
Jesus
came
into
Galilee
proclaiming
the
gospel
of
the
kingdom
of
God,
15
and
saying,
The
time
has
been
fulfilled,
and
the
kingdom
of
God
draws
near.
Repent
and
believe
in
the
gospel.
16
And
walking
along
beside
the
Sea
of
Galilee,
He
saw
Simon
and
his
brother
Andrew
casting
a
small
net
in
the
sea;
for
they
were
fishers.
17
And
Jesus
said
to
them,
Come
after
Me,
and
I
will
make
you
to
become
fishers
of
men.
18
And
leaving
their
nets,
they
immediately
followed
Him.
19
And
going
forward
from
there
a
little,
He
saw
James
the
son
of
Zebedee,
and
his
brother
John.
And
they
were
in
the
boat
mending
the
nets.
20
And
at
once
He
called
them.
And
leaving
their
father
Zebedee
in
the
boat
with
the
hired
servants,
they
went
after
Him.
21
And
they
passed
along
into
Capernaum.
And
entering
into
the
synagogue,
at
once
He
taught
on
the
sabbaths.
22
And
they
were
astounded
at
His
doctrine,
for
He
was
teaching
them
as
having
authority,
and
not
as
the
scribes.
23
And
a
man
with
an
unclean
spirit
was
in
their
synagogue.
And
he
cried
out,
24
saying,
What
is
to
us
and
to
You,
Jesus,
Nazarene?
Have
You
come
to
destroy
us?
I
know
You,
who
You
are,
the
Holy
One
of
God.
25
And
Jesus
rebuked
him,
saying,
Be
quiet,
and
come
out
of
him.
26
And
the
unclean
spirit
convulsing
him,
and
crying
out
with
a
loud
voice,
he
came
out
of
him.
27
And
all
were
astonished,
so
as
to
discuss
to
themselves,
saying,
What
is
this?
What
new
teaching
is
this,
that
He
commands
even
the
unclean
spirits
with
authority,
and
they
obey
Him?
28
And
His
fame
went
out
at
once
into
all
the
Galilean
neighborhood.
29
And
at
once
going
out
of
the
synagogue,
they
came
into
the
house
of
Simon
and
Andrew,
with
James
and
John.
30
And
the
mother-in-law
of
Simon
was
laid
out,
stricken
by
fever.
And
at
once
they
spoke
to
Him
about
her.
31
And
coming
near,
He
raised
her
up,
holding
her
hand.
And
the
fever
left
her
instantly,
and
she
served
them.
32
And
evening
coming,
when
the
sun
sank,
they
brought
to
Him
all
those
having
illness
and
those
having
been
demon-possessed.
33
And
the
whole
city
was
gathered
at
the
door.
34
And
He
healed
many
who
had
illness
of
various
diseases.
And
he
cast
out
many
demons,
and
He
did
not
allow
the
demons
to
speak,
because
they
knew
Him.
35
And
rising
up
quite
early
in
the
night,
He
went
out
and
went
away
into
a
deserted
place.
And
He
was
praying
there.
36
And
Simon
and
those
with
him
searched
for
Him.
37
And
finding
Him,
they
said
to
Him,
All
are
seeking
You.
38
And
He
said
to
them,
Let
us
go
into
the
neighboring
towns,
that
I
may
proclaim
there
also.
For
it
was
for
this
I
came
forth.
39
And
He
was
proclaiming
in
their
synagogues
in
all
Galilee,
and
casting
out
the
demons.
40
And
a
leper
came
to
Him,
begging
Him,
and
falling
on
his
knees
to
Him,
and
saying
to
Him,
If
You
desire,
You
are
able
to
make
me
clean.
41
And
being
moved
with
pity,
reaching
out
the
hand,
Jesus
touched
him,
and
said
to
him,
I
am
willing.
Be
made
clean!
42
And
He
having
spoken,
instantly
the
leprosy
departed
from
him,
and
he
was
made
clean.
43
And
strictly
warning
him,
He
at
once
put
him
out,
44
and
said
to
him,
See,
tell
no
one
a
thing,
but
go
show
yourself
to
the
priest,
and
offer
what
Moses
directed
concerning
your
cleansing,
for
a
testimony
to
them.
45
But
going
out
he
began
to
proclaim
much,
and
to
spread
about
the
matter,
so
that
He
no
longer
could
openly
enter
into
a
city.
But
He
was
outside
in
deserted
places.
And
they
came
to
Him
from
every
quarter.

1
The
beginning
of
the
gospel
of
Jesus
Christ,
the
Son
of
God.
2
As
it
is
written
in
Isaiah
the
prophet:
Look,
I
am
sending
My
messenger
ahead
of
You,
who
will
prepare
Your
way.
3
A
voice
of
one
crying
out
in
the
wilderness:
"Prepare
the
way
for
the
Lord;
make
His
paths
straight!"
4
John
came
baptizing
in
the
wilderness
and
preaching
a
baptism
of
repentance
for
the
forgiveness
of
sins.
5
The
whole
Judean
countryside
and
all
the
people
of
Jerusalem
were
flocking
to
him,
and
they
were
baptized
by
him
in
the
Jordan
River
as
they
confessed
their
sins.
6
John
wore
a
camel-hair
garment
with
a
leather
belt
around
his
waist
and
ate
locusts
and
wild
honey.
7
He
was
preaching:
"Someone
more
powerful
than
I
will
come
after
me.
I
am
not
worthy
to
stoop
down
and
untie
the
strap
of
His
sandals.
8
I
have
baptized
you
with
water,
but
He
will
baptize
you
with
the
Holy
Spirit."
9
In
those
days
Jesus
came
from
Nazareth
in
Galilee
and
was
baptized
in
the
Jordan
by
John.
10
As
soon
as
He
came
up
out
of
the
water,
He
saw
the
heavens
being
torn
open
and
the
Spirit
descending
to
Him
like
a
dove.
11
And
a
voice
came
from
heaven:
You
are
My
beloved
Son;
I
take
delight
in
You!
12
Immediately
the
Spirit
drove
Him
into
the
wilderness.
13
He
was
in
the
wilderness
40
days,
being
tempted
by
Satan.
He
was
with
the
wild
animals,
and
the
angels
began
to
serve
Him.
14
After
John
was
arrested,
Jesus
went
to
Galilee,
preaching
the
good
news
of
God:
15
"The
time
is
fulfilled,
and
the
kingdom
of
God
has
come
near.
Repent
and
believe
in
the
good
news!"
16
As
He
was
passing
along
by
the
Sea
of
Galilee,
He
saw
Simon
and
Andrew,
Simon's
brother.
They
were
casting
a
net
into
the
sea,
since
they
were
fishermen.
17
"Follow
Me,"
Jesus
told
them,
"and
I
will
make
you
fish
for
people!"
18
Immediately
they
left
their
nets
and
followed
Him.
19
Going
on
a
little
farther,
He
saw
James
the
son
of
Zebedee
and
his
brother
John.
They
were
in
their
boat
mending
their
nets.
20
Immediately
He
called
them,
and
they
left
their
father
Zebedee
in
the
boat
with
the
hired
men
and
followed
Him.
21
Then
they
went
into
Capernaum,
and
right
away
He
entered
the
synagogue
on
the
Sabbath
and
began
to
teach.
22
They
were
astonished
at
His
teaching
because,
unlike
the
scribes,
He
was
teaching
them
as
one
having
authority.
23
Just
then
a
man
with
an
unclean
spirit
was
in
their
synagogue.
He
cried
out,
24
"What
do
You
have
to
do
with
us,
Jesus--
Nazarene?
Have
You
come
to
destroy
us?
I
know
who
You
are--
the
Holy
One
of
God!"
25
But
Jesus
rebuked
him
and
said,
"Be
quiet,
and
come
out
of
him!"
26
And
the
unclean
spirit
convulsed
him,
shouted
with
a
loud
voice,
and
came
out
of
him.
27
Then
they
were
all
amazed,
so
they
began
to
argue
with
one
another,
saying,
"What
is
this?
A
new
teaching
with
authority!
He
commands
even
the
unclean
spirits,
and
they
obey
Him."
28
His
fame
then
spread
throughout
the
entire
vicinity
of
Galilee.
29
As
soon
as
they
left
the
synagogue,
they
went
into
Simon
and
Andrew's
house
with
James
and
John.
30
Simon's
mother-in-law
was
lying
in
bed
with
a
fever,
and
they
told
Him
about
her
at
once.
31
So
He
went
to
her,
took
her
by
the
hand,
and
raised
her
up.
The
fever
left
her,
and
she
began
to
serve
them.
32
When
evening
came,
after
the
sun
had
set,
they
began
bringing
to
Him
all
those
who
were
sick
and
those
who
were
demon-possessed.
33
The
whole
town
was
assembled
at
the
door,
34
and
He
healed
many
who
were
sick
with
various
diseases
and
drove
out
many
demons.
But
He
would
not
permit
the
demons
to
speak,
because
they
knew
Him.
35
Very
early
in
the
morning,
while
it
was
still
dark,
He
got
up,
went
out,
and
made
His
way
to
a
deserted
place.
And
He
was
praying
there.
36
Simon
and
his
companions
went
searching
for
Him.
37
They
found
Him
and
said,
"Everyone's
looking
for
You!"
38
And
He
said
to
them,
"Let's
go
on
to
the
neighboring
villages
so
that
I
may
preach
there
too.
This
is
why
I
have
come."
39
So
He
went
into
all
of
Galilee,
preaching
in
their
synagogues
and
driving
out
demons.
40
Then
a
man
with
a
serious
skin
disease
came
to
Him
and,
on
his
knees,
begged
Him:
"If
You
are
willing,
You
can
make
me
clean."
41
Moved
with
compassion,
Jesus
reached
out
His
hand
and
touched
him.
"I
am
willing,"
He
told
him.
"Be
made
clean."
42
Immediately
the
disease
left
him,
and
he
was
healed.
43
Then
He
sternly
warned
him
and
sent
him
away
at
once,
44
telling
him,
"See
that
you
say
nothing
to
anyone;
but
go
and
show
yourself
to
the
priest,
and
offer
what
Moses
prescribed
for
your
cleansing,
as
a
testimony
to
them."
45
Yet
he
went
out
and
began
to
proclaim
it
widely
and
to
spread
the
news,
with
the
result
that
Jesus
could
no
longer
enter
a
town
openly.
But
He
was
out
in
deserted
places,
and
they
would
come
to
Him
from
everywhere.
