Genesis 15:5 (KNV) Kannadam Old BSI Version

1 ಇವುಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಬಂದು--ಅಬ್ರಾಮನೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ; ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾದ ಬಹುಮಾನವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
2 ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು--ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರೇ, ನನಗೆ ಏನು ಕೊಟ್ಟರೇನು? ನಾನು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈ ದಮಸ್ಕದವನಾದ ಎಲೀಯೆಜರನು ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಮನೆವಾರ್ತೆಯವನಾ ಗಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದನು.
3 ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು--ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ನನಗೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯನಾಗಿ ರುವನು ಅಂದಾಗ
4 ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ--ಇವನು ನಿನಗೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯನಾಗುವ ದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯನಾಗುವನು ಅಂದನು.
5 ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು--ಈಗ ನೀನು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಶಕ್ತನಾದರೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸು ಅಂದನು. ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯು ಆಗುವದು ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
6 ಅಬ್ರಾ ಮನು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆತನು ಅದನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ನೀತಿ ಎಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿದನು.
7 ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಲ್ದೀಯರ ಊರ್‌ನಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಾನೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
8 ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು--ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವೆನೆಂದು ಯಾವದ ರಿಂದ ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
9 ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ--ಮೂರು ಮೂರು ವರುಷದ ಕಡಸು ಆಡು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಬೆಳವಕ್ಕಿಯನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಪಾರಿವಾಳದ ಮರಿಯನ್ನೂ ನನಗಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ ಅಂದನು.
10 ಅವನು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆತನಿಗಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಡುವೆ ತುಂಡುಮಾಡಿ ಒಂದು ತುಂಡನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೊಂದರ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟನು; ಆದರೆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಡುಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
11 ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಆ ಶವಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿದನು.
12 ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಅಸ್ತಮಿಸಲಾಗಿ ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಗಾಢನಿದ್ರೆ ಹತ್ತಿತು. ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಭಯದ ಘೋರಾಂಧಕಾರವು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕವಿಯಿತು.
13 ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿ ಯವರು ತಮ್ಮದಲ್ಲದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರದೇಶಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವರು. ಅವರು ನಾನೂರು ವರುಷ ಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರನ್ನು ಶ್ರಮೆಪಡಿಸುವರು ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ತಿಳಿಯತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
14 ಅವರು ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು; ತರುವಾಯ ಮಹಾ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರುವರು.
15 ನೀನಾದರೋ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಿ; ಬಹಳ ಮುದಿಪ್ರಾಯದವನಾಗಿ (ಮೃತಿ ಹೊಂದಿ) ಹೂಣಲ್ಪಡುವಿ.
16 ಆದರೆ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ಸಂತಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರುವರು; ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ದುಷ್ಟತನವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
17 ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಮುಳುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕತ್ತಲಾದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಹೊಗೆಹಾಯುವ ಒಲೆಯೂ ಉರಿಯುವ ದೀಪವೂ ತುಂಡುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದುಹೋದವು.
18 ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಬ್ರಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು--ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ನದಿಯಿಂದ ಮಹಾನದಿಯಾದ ಯೂಫ್ರೇಟೀಸ್‌ ನದಿಯ ವರೆಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುವ
19 ಕೇನಿಯರೂ ಕೆನಿಜೀಯರೂ ಕದ್ಮೋನಿ ಯರೂ
20 ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರೂ ಪೆರಿಜೀಯರೂ ರೆಫಾಯರೂ
21 ಅಮೋರಿಯರೂ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರೂ ಗಿರ್ಗಾಷಿಯರೂ ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.
1 After H310 ADV these H428 D-DPRO-3MP things H1697 AMP the word H1697 NMS of the LORD H3068 EDS came H1961 VQQ3MS unto H413 PREP Abram H87 EMS in a vision H4236 , saying H559 L-VQFC , Fear H3372 not H408 NPAR , Abram H87 EMS : I H595 PPRO-1MS am thy shield H4043 NMS , and thy exceeding H3966 ADV great H7235 VHFA reward H7939 .
2 And Abram H87 EMS said H559 W-VQY3MS , Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 , what H4100 IPRO wilt thou give H5414 VQY2MS me , seeing I H595 W-PPRO-1MS go H1980 VQPMS childless H6185 , and the steward H1121 W-CMS of my house H1004 CMS-1MS is this H1931 PPRO-3MS Eliezer H461 of Damascus H1834 ?
3 And Abram H87 EMS said H559 W-VQY3MS , Behold H2005 IJEC , to me thou hast given H5414 VQQ2MS-2FS no H3808 NADV seed H2233 : and , lo H2009 IJEC , one born H1121 CMS in my house H1004 CMS-1MS is mine heir H3423 .
4 And , behold H2009 IJEC , the word H1697 NMS of the LORD H3068 EDS came unto H413 PREP-3MS him , saying H559 L-VQFC , This H2088 DPRO shall not H3808 NADV be thine heir H3423 ; but H518 PART he that H834 RPRO shall come forth H3318 VQY3MS out of thine own bowels H4578 shall be thine heir H3423 .
5 And he brought him forth abroad H2351 , and said H559 W-VQY3MS , Look H5027 now H4994 IJEC toward heaven H8064 , and tell H5608 the stars H3556 , if H518 PART thou be able H3201 VQI2MS to number H5608 them : and he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto him , So H3541 shall thy seed H2233 be H1961 VQY3MS .
6 And he believed H539 in the LORD H3068 ; and he counted H2803 it to him for righteousness H6666 .
7 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-3MS him , I H589 PPRO-1MS am the LORD H3068 EDS that H834 RPRO brought H3318 thee out of Ur H218 M-EFS of the Chaldees H3778 TMP , to give H5414 thee this H2063 D-DFS land H776 D-GFS to inherit H3423 it .
8 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS , Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 , whereby H4100 shall I know H3045 VQY1MS that H3588 CONJ I shall inherit H3423 it ?
9 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-3MS him , Take H3947 me an heifer H5697 of three years old H8027 , and a she goat H5795 of three years old H8027 , and a ram H352 of three years old H8027 , and a turtledove H8449 , and a young pigeon H1469 .
10 And he took H3947 W-VQY3MS unto him all H3605 NMS these H428 PMP , and divided H1334 them in the midst H8432 , and laid H5414 W-VQQ3MS each H376 NMS piece H1335 one against H7125 L-VQFC another H7453 NMS-3MS : but the birds H6833 divided H1334 he not H3808 NADV .
11 And when the fowls H5861 came down H3381 W-VQY3MS upon H5921 PREP the carcasses H6297 , Abram H87 EMS drove them away H5380 .
12 And when the sun H8121 D-NMS was going down H935 L-VQFC , a deep sleep H8639 fell H5307 upon H5921 PREP Abram H87 EMS ; and , lo H2009 IJEC , a horror H367 of great H1419 darkness H2825 fell H5307 upon H5921 PREP him .
13 And he said H559 W-VQY3MS unto Abram H87 L-EMS , Know of a surety H3045 that H3588 CONJ thy seed H2233 CMS-2MS shall be H1961 VQY3MS a stranger H1616 in a land H776 B-GFS that is not H3808 NADV theirs , and shall serve H5647 them ; and they shall afflict H6031 them four H702 MFS hundred H3967 BFP years H8141 NFS ;
14 And also H1571 W-CONJ that nation H1471 , whom H834 RPRO they shall serve H5647 , will I H595 PPRO-1MS judge H1777 : and afterward H310 shall they come out H3318 with great H1419 substance H7399 .
15 And thou H859 W-PPRO-2MS shalt go H935 VQY2MS to H413 PREP thy fathers H1 in peace H7965 ; thou shalt be buried H6912 in a good H2896 NFS old age H7872 .
16 But in the fourth H7243 generation H1755 they shall come hither again H7725 : for H3588 CONJ the iniquity H5771 of the Amorites H567 D-TMS is not H3808 NADV yet H5704 PREP full H8003 .
17 And it came to pass H1961 W-VQY3MS , that , when the sun H8121 D-NMS went down H935 VQQ3FS , and it was H1961 VQQ3MS dark H5939 , behold H2009 IJEC a smoking H6227 NMS furnace H8574 , and a burning H784 CMS lamp H3940 that H834 RPRO passed H5674 VQQ3MS between H996 PREP those H428 pieces H1506 .
18 In the same H1931 D-PPRO-3MS day H3117 B-AMS the LORD H3068 EDS made H3772 a covenant H1285 NFS with H854 PREP Abram H87 EMS , saying H559 L-VQFC , Unto thy seed H2233 L-CMS-2MS have I given H5414 VQQ1MS this H2063 D-DFS land H776 D-GFS , from the river H5104 of Egypt H4714 EFS unto H5704 PREP the great H1419 D-AMS river H5104 D-NMS , the river H5104 Euphrates H6578 :
19 The Kenites H7017 , and the Kenizzites H7074 , and the Kadmonites H6935 ,
20 And the Hittites H2850 , and the Perizzites H6522 , and the Rephaims H7497 ,
21 And the Amorites H567 , and the Canaanites H3669 D-TMS , and the Girgashites H1622 , and the Jebusites H2983 .
