1. The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron:
1. And the LORD H3068 spoke H1696 unto H413 Moses H4872 and Aaron H175 , saying H559 ,
2. "When someone has a swelling or a scab or a bright spot on the skin of his body that may become a diseased infection, he must be brought to Aaron the priest or one of his sons, the priests.
2. When H3588 a man H120 shall have H1961 in the skin H5785 of his flesh H1320 a rising H7613 , a scab H5597 , or H176 bright spot H934 , and it be H1961 in the skin H5785 of his flesh H1320 like the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 ; then he shall be brought H935 unto H413 Aaron H175 the priest H3548 , or H176 unto H413 one H259 of his sons H4480 H1121 the priests H3548 :
3. The priest must then examine the infection on the skin of the body, and if the hair in the infection has turned white and the infection appears to be deeper than the skin of the body, then it is a diseased infection, so when the priest examines it he must pronounce the person unclean.
3. And the priest H3548 shall look on H7200 H853 the plague H5061 in the skin H5785 of the flesh H1320 : and when the hair H8181 in the plague H5061 is turned H2015 white H3836 , and the plague H5061 in sight H4758 be deeper H6013 than the skin H4480 H5785 of his flesh H1320 , it H1931 is a plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 : and the priest H3548 shall look on H7200 him , and pronounce him unclean H2930 H853 .
4. "If it is a white bright spot on the skin of his body, but it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and the hair has not turned white, then the priest is to quarantine the person with the infection for seven days.
4. If H518 the bright spot H934 be white H3836 in the skin H5785 of his flesh H1320 , and in sight H4758 be not H369 deeper H6013 than H4480 the skin H5785 , and the hair H8181 thereof be not H3808 turned H2015 white H3836 ; then the priest H3548 shall shut up H5462 him that hath H853 the plague H5061 seven H7651 days H3117 :
5. The priest must then examine it on the seventh day, and if, as far as he can see, the infection has stayed the same and has not spread on the skin, then the priest is to quarantine the person for another seven days.
5. And the priest H3548 shall look on H7200 him the seventh H7637 day H3117 : and, behold H2009 , if the plague H5061 in his sight H5869 be at a stay H5975 , and the plague H5061 spread H6581 not H3808 in the skin H5785 ; then the priest H3548 shall shut him up H5462 seven H7651 days H3117 more H8145 :
6. The priest must then examine it again on the seventh day, and if the infection has faded and has not spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person clean. It is a scab, so he must wash his clothes and be clean.
6. And the priest H3548 shall look on H7200 him again H8145 the seventh H7637 day H3117 : and, behold H2009 , if the plague H5061 be somewhat dark H3544 , and the plague H5061 spread H6581 not H3808 in the skin H5785 , the priest H3548 shall pronounce him clean H2891 : it H1931 is but a scab H4556 : and he shall wash H3526 his clothes H899 , and be clean H2891 .
7. If, however, the scab is spreading further on the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his purification, then he must show himself to the priest a second time.
7. But if H518 the scab H4556 spread much abroad H6581 H6581 in the skin H5785 , after that H310 he hath been seen H7200 of H413 the priest H3548 for his cleansing H2893 , he shall be seen H7200 of H413 the priest H3548 again H8145 :
8. The priest must then examine it, and if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. It is a disease.
8. And if the priest H3548 see H7200 that, behold H2009 , the scab H4556 spreadeth H6581 in the skin H5785 , then the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean H2930 : it H1931 is a leprosy H6883 .
9. "When someone has a diseased infection, he must be brought to the priest.
9. When H3588 the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 is H1961 in a man H120 , then he shall be brought H935 unto H413 the priest H3548 ;
10. The priest will then examine it, and if a white swelling is on the skin, it has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the swelling,
10. And the priest H3548 shall see H7200 him : and, behold H2009 , if the rising H7613 be white H3836 in the skin H5785 , and it H1931 have turned H2015 the hair H8181 white H3836 , and there be quick H4241 raw H2416 flesh H1320 in the rising H7613 ;
11. it is a chronic disease on the skin of his body, so the priest is to pronounce him unclean. The priest must not merely quarantine him, for he is unclean.
11. It H1931 is an old H3462 leprosy H6883 in the skin H5785 of his flesh H1320 , and the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean H2930 , and shall not H3808 shut him up H5462 : for H3588 he H1931 is unclean H2931 .
12. If, however, the disease breaks out on the skin so that the disease covers all the skin of the person with the infection from his head to his feet, as far as the priest can see,
12. And if H518 a leprosy H6883 break out abroad H6524 H6524 in the skin H5785 , and the leprosy H6883 cover H3680 H853 all H3605 the skin H5785 of him that hath the plague H5061 from his head H4480 H7218 even to H5704 his foot H7272 , wheresoever H3605 the priest H3548 looketh H4758 H5869 ;
13. the priest must then examine it, and if the disease covers his whole body, he is to pronounce the person with the infection clean. He has turned all white, so he is clean.
13. Then the priest H3548 shall consider H7200 : and, behold H2009 , if the leprosy H6883 have covered H3680 H853 all H3605 his flesh H1320 , he shall pronounce him clean H2891 that hath H853 the plague H5061 : it is all H3605 turned H2015 white H3836 : he H1931 is clean H2889 .
14. But whenever raw flesh appears in it he will be unclean,
14. But when H3117 raw H2416 flesh H1320 appeareth H7200 in him , he shall be unclean H2930 .
15. so the priest is to examine the raw flesh and pronounce him unclean it is diseased.
15. And the priest H3548 shall see H7200 H853 the raw H2416 flesh H1320 , and pronounce him to be unclean H2930 : for the raw H2416 flesh H1320 is unclean H2931 : it H1931 is a leprosy H6883 .
16. If, however, the raw flesh once again turns white, then he must come to the priest.
16. Or H176 if H3588 the raw H2416 flesh H1320 turn again H7725 , and be changed H2015 unto white H3836 , he shall come H935 unto H413 the priest H3548 ;
17. The priest will then examine it, and if the infection has turned white, the priest is to pronounce the person with the infection clean he is clean.
17. And the priest H3548 shall see H7200 him: and, behold H2009 , if the plague H5061 be turned H2015 into white H3836 ; then the priest H3548 shall pronounce him clean H2891 that hath H853 the plague H5061 : he H1931 is clean H2889 .
18. "When someone's body has a boil on its skin and it heals,
18. The flesh H1320 also , in which, even in the skin H5785 thereof, was H3588 H1961 a boil H7822 , and is healed H7495 ,
19. and in the place of the boil there is a white swelling or a reddish white bright spot, he must show himself to the priest.
19. And in the place H4725 of the boil H7822 there be H1961 a white H3836 rising H7613 , or H176 a bright spot H934 , white H3836 , and somewhat reddish H125 , and it be showed H7200 to H413 the priest H3548 ;
20. The priest will then examine it, and if it appears to be deeper than the skin and its hair has turned white, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. It is a diseased infection that has broken out in the boil.
20. And if , when the priest H3548 seeth H7200 it, behold H2009 , it be in sight H4758 lower H8217 than H4480 the skin H5785 , and the hair H8181 thereof be turned H2015 white H3836 ; the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean H2930 : it H1931 is a plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 broken out H6524 of the boil H7822 .
21. If, however, the priest examines it, and there is no white hair in it, it is not deeper than the skin, and it has faded, then the priest is to quarantine him for seven days.
21. But if H518 the priest H3548 look on H7200 it, and, behold H2009 , there be no H369 white H3836 hairs H8181 therein , and if it be not H369 lower H8217 than H4480 the skin H5785 , but be somewhat dark H3544 ; then the priest H3548 shall shut him up H5462 seven H7651 days H3117 :
22. If it is spreading further on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce him unclean. It is an infection.
22. And if H518 it spread much abroad H6581 H6581 in the skin H5785 , then the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean H2930 H853 : it H1931 is a plague H5061 .
23. But if the bright spot stays in its place and has not spread, it is the scar of the boil, so the priest is to pronounce him clean.
23. But if H518 the bright spot H934 stay H5975 in his place H8478 , and spread H6581 not H3808 , it H1931 is a burning H6867 boil H7822 ; and the priest H3548 shall pronounce him clean H2891 .
24. "When a body has a burn on its skin and the raw area of the burn becomes a reddish white or white bright spot,
24. Or H176 if H3588 there be H1961 any flesh H1320 , in the skin H5785 whereof there is a hot H784 burning H4348 , and the quick H4241 flesh that burneth H4348 have H1961 a white H3836 bright spot H934 , somewhat reddish H125 , or H176 white H3836 ;
25. the priest must examine it, and if the hair has turned white in the bright spot and it appears to be deeper than the skin, it is a disease that has broken out in the burn. The priest is to pronounce the person unclean. It is a diseased infection.
25. Then the priest H3548 shall look upon H7200 it: and, behold H2009 , if the hair H8181 in the bright spot H934 be turned H2015 white H3836 , and it be in sight H4758 deeper H6013 than H4480 the skin H5785 ; it H1931 is a leprosy H6883 broken out H6524 of the burning H4348 : wherefore the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean H2930 H853 : it H1931 is the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 .
26. If, however, the priest examines it and there is no white hair in the bright spot, it is not deeper than the skin, and it has faded, then the priest is to quarantine him for seven days.
26. But if H518 the priest H3548 look on H7200 it, and, behold H2009 , there be no H369 white H3836 hair H8181 in the bright spot H934 , and it be no H369 lower H8217 than H4480 the other skin H5785 , but be somewhat dark H3544 ; then the priest H3548 shall shut him up H5462 seven H7651 days H3117 :
27. The priest must then examine it on the seventh day, and if it is spreading further on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce him unclean. It is a diseased infection.
27. And the priest H3548 shall look upon H7200 him the seventh H7637 day H3117 : and if H518 it be spread much abroad H6581 H6581 in the skin H5785 , then the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean H2930 H853 : it H1931 is the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 .
28. But if the bright spot stays in its place, has not spread on the skin, and it has faded, then it is the swelling of the burn, so the priest is to pronounce him clean, because it is the scar of the burn.
28. And if H518 the bright spot H934 stay H5975 in his place H8478 , and spread H6581 not H3808 in the skin H5785 , but it H1931 be somewhat dark H3544 ; it H1931 is a rising H7613 of the burning H4348 , and the priest H3548 shall pronounce him clean H2891 : for H3588 it H1931 is an inflammation H6867 of the burning H4348 .
29. "When a man or a woman has an infection on the head or in the beard,
29. If H3588 a man H376 or H176 woman H802 have H1961 a plague H5061 upon the head H7218 or H176 the beard H2206 ;
30. the priest is to examine the infection, and if it appears to be deeper than the skin and the hair in it is reddish yellow and thin, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. It is scall, a disease of the head or the beard.
30. Then the priest H3548 shall see H7200 H853 the plague H5061 : and, behold H2009 , if it be in sight H4758 deeper H6013 than H4480 the skin H5785 ; and there be in it a yellow H6669 thin H1851 hair H8181 ; then the priest H3548 shall pronounce him unclean H2930 H853 : it H1931 is a dry scurf H5424 , even a leprosy H6883 upon the head H7218 or H176 beard H2206 .
31. But if the priest examines the scall infection and it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest is to quarantine the person with the scall infection for seven days.
31. And if H3588 the priest H3548 look on H7200 H853 the plague H5061 of the scurf H5424 , and, behold H2009 , it be not H369 in sight H4758 deeper H6013 than H4480 the skin H5785 , and that there is no H369 black H7838 hair H8181 in it ; then the priest H3548 shall shut up H5462 him that hath H853 the plague H5061 of the scurf H5424 seven H7651 days H3117 :
32. The priest must then examine the infection on the seventh day, and if the scall has not spread, there is no reddish yellow hair in it, and the scall does not appear to be deeper than the skin,
32. And in the seventh H7637 day H3117 the priest H3548 shall look on H7200 H853 the plague H5061 : and, behold H2009 , if the scurf H5424 spread H6581 not H3808 , and there be H1961 in it no H3808 yellow H6669 hair H8181 , and the scurf H5424 be not H369 in sight H4758 deeper H6013 than H4480 the skin H5785 ;
33. then the individual is to shave himself, but he must not shave the area affected by the scall, and the priest is to quarantine the person with the scall for another seven days.
33. He shall be shaven H1548 , but the scurf H5424 shall he not H3808 shave H1548 ; and the priest H3548 shall shut up H5462 him that hath H853 the scurf H5424 seven H7651 days H3117 more H8145 :
34. The priest must then examine the scall on the seventh day, and if the scall has not spread on the skin and it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, then the priest is to pronounce him clean. So he is to wash his clothes and be clean.
34. And in the seventh H7637 day H3117 the priest H3548 shall look on H7200 H853 the scurf H5424 : and, behold H2009 , if the scurf H5424 be not H3808 spread H6581 in the skin H5785 , nor H369 be in sight H4758 deeper H6013 than H4480 the skin H5785 ; then the priest H3548 shall pronounce him clean H2891 H853 : and he shall wash H3526 his clothes H899 , and be clean H2891 .
35. If, however, the scall spreads further on the skin after his purification,
35. But if H518 the scurf H5424 spread much H6581 H6581 in the skin H5785 after H310 his cleansing H2893 ;
36. then the priest is to examine it, and if the scall has spread on the skin the priest is not to search further for reddish yellow hair. The person is unclean.
36. Then the priest H3548 shall look on H7200 him: and, behold H2009 , if the scurf H5424 be spread H6581 in the skin H5785 , the priest H3548 shall not H3808 seek H1239 for yellow H6669 hair H8181 ; he H1931 is unclean H2931 .
37. If, as far as the priest can see, the scall has stayed the same and black hair has sprouted in it, the scall has been healed; the person is clean. So the priest is to pronounce him clean.
37. But if H518 the scurf H5424 be in his sight H5869 at a stay H5975 , and that there is black H7838 hair H8181 grown up H6779 therein ; the scurf H5424 is healed H7495 , he H1931 is clean H2889 : and the priest H3548 shall pronounce him clean H2891 .
38. "When a man or a woman has bright spots white bright spots on the skin of their body,
38. If H3588 a man H376 also or H176 a woman H802 have H1961 in the skin H5785 of their flesh H1320 bright spots H934 , even white H3836 bright spots H934 ;
39. the priest is to examine them, and if the bright spots on the skin of their body are faded white, it is a harmless rash that has broken out on the skin. The person is clean.
39. Then the priest H3548 shall look H7200 : and, behold H2009 , if the bright spots H934 in the skin H5785 of their flesh H1320 be darkish H3544 white H3836 ; it H1931 is a freckled spot H933 that groweth H6524 in the skin H5785 ; he H1931 is clean H2889 .
40. "When a man's head is bare so that he is balding in back, he is clean.
40. And the man H376 whose H3588 hair is fallen off H4803 his head H7218 , he H1931 is bald H7142 ; yet is he H1931 clean H2889 .
41. If his head is bare on the forehead so that he is balding in front, he is clean.
41. And he that hath his hair fallen off H4803 from the part H4480 H6285 of his head H7218 toward his face H6440 , he H1931 is forehead bald H1371 : yet is he H1931 clean H2889 .
42. But if there is a reddish white infection in the back or front bald area, it is a disease breaking out in his back or front bald area.
42. And if H3588 there be H1961 in the bald head H7146 , or H176 bald forehead H1372 , a white H3836 reddish H125 sore H5061 ; it H1931 is a leprosy H6883 sprung up H6524 in his bald head H7146 , or H176 his bald forehead H1372 .
43. The priest is to examine it, and if the swelling of the infection is reddish white in the back or front bald area like the appearance of a disease on the skin of the body,
43. Then the priest H3548 shall look upon H7200 it: and, behold H2009 , if the rising H7613 of the sore H5061 be white H3836 reddish H125 in his bald head H7146 , or H176 in his bald forehead H1372 , as the leprosy H6883 appeareth H4758 in the skin H5785 of the flesh H1320 ;
44. he is a diseased man. He is unclean. The priest must surely pronounce him unclean because of his infection on his head.
44. He H1931 is a leprous H6879 man H376 , he H1931 is unclean H2931 : the priest H3548 shall pronounce him utterly unclean H2930 H2930 ; his plague H5061 is in his head H7218 .
45. "As for the diseased person who has the infection, his clothes must be torn, the hair of his head must be unbound, he must cover his mustache, and he must call out 'Unclean! Unclean!'
45. And the leper H6879 in whom H834 the plague H5061 is , his clothes H899 shall be H1961 rent H6533 , and his head H7218 bare H6544 , and he shall put a covering H5844 upon H5921 his upper lip H8222 , and shall cry H7121 , Unclean H2931 , unclean H2931 .
46. The whole time he has the infection he will be continually unclean. He must live in isolation, and his place of residence must be outside the camp.
46. All H3605 the days H3117 wherein H834 the plague H5061 shall be in him he shall be defiled H2930 ; he H1931 is unclean H2931 : he shall dwell H3427 alone H910 ; without H4480 H2351 the camp H4264 shall his habitation H4186 be .
47. "When a garment has a diseased infection in it, whether a wool or linen garment,
47. The garment H899 also that H3588 the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 is H1961 in, whether it be a woolen H6785 garment H899 , or H176 a linen H6593 garment H899 ;
48. or in the warp or woof of the linen or the wool, or in leather or anything made of leather,
48. Whether H176 it be in the warp H8359 , or H176 woof H6154 ; of linen H6593 , or of woolen H6785 ; whether H176 in a skin H5785 , or H176 in any H3605 thing made H4399 of skin H5785 ;
49. if the infection in the garment or leather or warp or woof or any article of leather is yellowish green or reddish, it is a diseased infection and it must be shown to the priest.
49. And if the plague H5061 be H1961 greenish H3422 or H176 reddish H125 in the garment H899 , or H176 in the skin H5785 , either H176 in the warp H8359 , or H176 in the woof H6154 , or H176 in any H3605 thing H3627 of skin H5785 ; it H1931 is a plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 , and shall be showed H7200 H853 unto the priest H3548 :
50. The priest is to examine and then quarantine the article with the infection for seven days.
50. And the priest H3548 shall look upon H7200 H853 the plague H5061 , and shut up H5462 it that hath H853 the plague H5061 seven H7651 days H3117 :
51. He must then examine the infection on the seventh day. If the infection has spread in the garment, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in the leather whatever the article into which the leather was made the infection is a malignant disease. It is unclean.
51. And he shall look on H7200 H853 the plague H5061 on the seventh H7637 day H3117 : if H3588 the plague H5061 be spread H6581 in the garment H899 , either H176 in the warp H8359 , or H176 in the woof H6154 , or H176 in a skin H5785 , or in any H3605 work H4399 that H834 is made H6213 of skin H5785 ; the plague H5061 is a fretting H3992 leprosy H6883 ; it H1931 is unclean H2931 .
52. He must burn the garment or the warp or the woof, whether wool or linen, or any article of leather which has the infection in it. Because it is a malignant disease it must be burned up in the fire.

52. He shall therefore burn H8313 H853 that garment H899 , whether H176 H853 warp H8359 or H176 H853 woof H6154 , in woolen H6785 or H176 in linen H6593 , or H176 H853 any H3605 thing H3627 of skin H5785 , wherein H834 the plague H5061 is H1961 : for H3588 it H1931 is a fretting H3992 leprosy H6883 ; it shall be burnt H8313 in the fire H784 .
53. But if the priest examines it and the infection has not spread in the garment or in the warp or in the woof or in any article of leather,
53. And if H518 the priest H3548 shall look H7200 , and, behold H2009 , the plague H5061 be not H3808 spread H6581 in the garment H899 , either H176 in the warp H8359 , or H176 in the woof H6154 , or H176 in any H3605 thing H3627 of skin H5785 ;
54. the priest is to command that they wash whatever has the infection and quarantine it for another seven days.
54. Then the priest H3548 shall command H6680 that they wash H3526 the thing H853 wherein H834 the plague H5061 is , and he shall shut it up H5462 seven H7651 days H3117 more H8145 :
55. The priest must then examine it after the infection has been washed out, and if the infection has not changed its appearance even though the infection has not spread, it is unclean. You must burn it up in the fire. It is a fungus, whether on the back side or front side of the article.
55. And the priest H3548 shall look on H7200 H853 the plague H5061 , after that H310 it is washed H3526 : and, behold H2009 , if the plague H5061 have not H3808 changed H2015 H853 his color H5869 , and the plague H5061 be not H3808 spread H6581 ; it H1931 is unclean H2931 ; thou shalt burn H8313 it in the fire H784 ; it H1931 is fret inward H6356 , whether it be bare within H7146 or H176 without H1372 .
56. But if the priest has examined it and the infection has faded after it has been washed, he is to tear it out of the garment or the leather or the warp or the woof.
56. And if H518 the priest H3548 look H7200 , and, behold H2009 , the plague H5061 be somewhat dark H3544 after H310 the washing H3526 of it ; then he shall rend H7167 it out of H4480 the garment H899 , or H176 out of H4480 the skin H5785 , or H176 out of H4480 the warp H8359 , or H176 out of H4480 the woof H6154 :
57. Then if it still appears again in the garment or the warp or the woof, or in any article of leather, it is an outbreak. Whatever has the infection in it you must burn up in the fire.
57. And if H518 it appear H7200 still H5750 in the garment H899 , either H176 in the warp H8359 , or H176 in the woof H6154 , or H176 in any H3605 thing H3627 of skin H5785 ; it H1931 is a spreading H6524 plague : thou shalt burn H8313 H853 that wherein H834 the plague H5061 is with fire H784 .
58. But the garment or the warp or the woof or any article of leather which you wash and infection disappears from it is to be washed a second time and it will be clean."
58. And the garment H899 , either H176 warp H8359 , or H176 woof H6154 , or H176 whatsoever H3605 thing H3627 of skin H5785 it be , which H834 thou shalt wash H3526 , if the plague H5061 be departed H5493 from H4480 them , then it shall be washed H3526 the second time H8145 , and shall be clean H2891 .
59. This is the law of the diseased infection in the garment of wool or linen, or the warp or woof, or any article of leather, for pronouncing it clean or unclean.
59. This H2063 is the law H8451 of the plague H5061 of leprosy H6883 in a garment H899 of woolen H6785 or H176 linen H6593 , either H176 in the warp H8359 , or H176 woof H6154 , or H176 any H3605 thing H3627 of skins H5785 , to pronounce it clean H2891 , or H176 to pronounce it unclean H2930 .
