1 اور ابؔرہام نے پِھر ایک اَور بیوی کی جسکا نام قؔطُور تھا۔
2 اور اُس سے زمرؔان اور یُقسان اور مِؔدان اور مِؔدیان اور اِؔسباق اور سُخ پیدا ہُوئے ۔
3 اور دؔدان پَیدا ہوئے اور اور دؔدان کی اَولاد سے اُسوری اور لؔطونی اور لُومی تھے۔
4 اور مِؔدیان کے بیٹے عیٖؔفاہ اور عِفؔر اور حؔنوک اور ابیداعؔ اور الؔدوعا تھے ۔ یہ سب بنی قؔطُورہ تھے ۔
5 اور اؔبرہام نے اپنا سب کچھ اِضحاق کو دیا ۔
6 اور اپنی حرموں کے بیٹوں کو ابرؔہام نے بہت کُچھ اِنعام دیکر اپنے جیتے جی اُنکو اپنے بیٹے اِضؔحاق کے پاس سے مشرق کی طرف یعنی مشرِق کے مُلک میں بھیج دِیا۔
7 اور ابرؔہام کی کُل عمر جب تک کہ وہ جیتا رہا ایک سَو پچھترّ برس کی ہوئی ۔
8 تب ابرؔہام نے دم چھوڑ دِیا اور خُوب بُڑھاپے میں نہایت ضعیف اور پُوری عمر کا ہو کر وفات پائی اور اپنے لوگو میں جا مِلا۔
9 اور اُسکے بیٹے اِؔضحاق اور اِسؔمٰعیل نے مِکفیلؔہ کے غار میں جو ممؔرے کے سامنے حِتیؔ صُحر کے بیٹے عِفؔرون کے کھیت میں ہے اُسے دفن کیا۔ یہ وہی کھیت ہے جِسے ابرؔہام نے بنی حِؔت سے خریدا تھا۔ وہیں اؔبرہام اور اُسکی بیوی ساؔرہ دفن ہوئے ۔ اور ابؔرہام کی وفات کے بعد خُدا نے اُسکے بیٹے اِضؔحاق کو برکت بخشی اور اِضؔحاق بیرلؔح روئی کے نزدیک رہتا تھا ۔

12 یہ نسب نامہ ابرہاؔم کے بیٹے اِسؔمعیل کا ہے جو ابؔرہام سے ساؔرہ کی لَونڈی ہاؔجرہ مصری کے بطن سے پَیدا ہوا۔
13 اور اِسؔمعیل کے بیٹوں کے نام یہ ہیں ۔ یہ نام ترتیب وار اُنکی پَیدایش کے مُطابق ہیں ۔ اَسؔمعیل کا پہلوٹھا نباؔیوت تھا ۔ پِھر قَؔیدار اور اؔوبئیل اور مَؔسبام ۔
14 اور مشؔماع اور دُومؔہ اور مؔسّا ۔
15 حؔدد اور تَیماؔ اور یطُور اور نؔفیس اور قؔدِمہ ۔
16 یہ اِسؔمعیل کے بیٹے ہیں اور اِن ہی کے ناموں سے اِنکی بستیاں اور چھاؤنیاں نامزد ہُوئیں اور یہی بارہ اپنے اپنے قبیلہ کے سردار ہُوئے ۔
17 اور اِسؔمعیل کی کُل عُمر ایک سَو سینتیس برس کی ہُوئی تب اُس نے دم چوڑ دِیا اور وفات پائی اور اپنے لوگوں میں جا مِلا۔
18 اور اُسکی اَولاد حؔوِیلہ سے شؔور تک جو مِصر کے سامنے اُس راستہ پر ہے جِس سے اؔسُور کو جاتے ہیں آباد تھی ۔ یہ لوگ اپنے سب بھائیوں کے سامنے بسے ہوئے تھے۔
19 اور ابؔرہام کے بیٹے اِؔضحاق کا نسب نامہ یہ ہے ۔ اؔبرہام سے اِضؔحاق پَیدا ہوا ۔
20 اِضؔحاق چالیس برس کا تھا جب اُس نے رِؔبقہ سے بیاہ کیا جو فدّؔان ارام کے باشندہ بیتؔوایل ارامی کی بیٹی اور لؔابن ارامی کی بہن تھی ۔
21 اور اِضؔحاق نے اپنی بیوی کے لئے خُداوند سے دُعا کی کیونکہ وہ بانجھ تھی اور خُداوند نے اُسکی دُعا قبول کی اور اُسکی بیوی رؔبقہ حامِلہ ہُوئی ۔ اور اُسکے پیٹ میں دو لڑکے آپس میں مُزاحمت کرنے لگے ۔ تب اُس نے کہا اگر اَیسا ہی ہے تو مَیں جیتی کیوں ہُوں ؟ اور وہ خُداوند سے پوچھنے گئی۔

23 خُداوند نے اُسے کہا ۔ دو قومیں تیرے پیٹ میں ہیں ۔ اور دو قبیلے تیرے بطن سے نِکلتے ہی الگ الگ ہو جائینگے اور ایک قبیلہ دُوسرے قبیلہ سے زور آور ہوگا اور بڑا چھوٹے کی خدمت کریگا۔
24 اور جب اُسکے وضع حمل کے دِن پوُرے ہوئے تو کیا دیکھتے ہیں کہ اُسکے پیٹ میں تَواٗم ہیں ۔
25 اور پہلا جو پَیدا ہوا تو سُرخ تھا اور اُوپر سے ایسا جَیسے پشمینہ اور اُنہوں نے اُسکا نام عؔیسو رکھا۔
26 اُسکے بعد اُسکا بھائی پَیدا ہوا اور اُسکا ہاتھ عؔیسو کی ایڑی کو پکڑے ہوئے تھا اور اُسکا نام یعقوب رکّھا گیا۔ جب وہ رِؔبقہ سے پَیدا ہوئے تو اِضؔحاق ساٹھ برس کا تھا۔
27 اور وہ لڑکے بڑھے اور عیؔسو شِکار میں ماہر ہوگیا اور جنگل میں رہنے لگا اور یعقؔوب سادہ مزاج ڈیروں میں رہنے والا آدمی تھا۔
28 اور اِضؔحاق عؔیسو کو پیار کرتا تھا کیونکہ وہ اُسکے شکار کا گوشت کھاتا تھا اور رِؔبقہ یعؔقوب کو پیار کرتی تھی۔
29 اور یعؔقوب نے دال پکائی اور عؔیسو جنگل سے آیا اور بے دم ہو رہا تھا۔
30 اور عؔیسو نے یعؔقوب سے کہا کہ جو لال لال ہے مُجھے کھلا دے کیونکہ مَیں بے دم ہو رہا ہوُں اِسی لئِے اُسکا نام ادؔوم بھی ہو گیا۔
31 تب یعؔقوب نے کہا تُو آج اپنا پہلوٹھے کا حق میرے ہاتھ بیچ دے ۔
32 عیؔسو نے کہا دیکھ مَیں تو مرا جاتا ہُوں پہلوٹھے کا حق میرے کِس کام آئیگا۔
33 تب یعؔقوب نے کہا کہ آج ہی مجھ سے قسم کھا۔ اُس نے اُس سے قسم کھائی اور اُس نے اپنا پہلوٹھے کا حق یعؔقوب کے ہاتھ بیچ دِیا ۔
34 تب یعؔقوب نے عؔیسو کو روٹی اور مُسور کی دال دی ۔ وہ کھا پی کر اُٹھا اور چلا گیا ۔ یُوں عیؔسو نے اپنے پہلوٹھے کے حق کو ناچیز جانا۔

2 And she bore H3205 W-VQY3FS him Zimran H2175 , and Jokshan H3370 , and Medan H4091 , and Midian H4080 , and Ishbak H3435 , and Shuah H7744 .
3 And Jokshan H3370 begot H3205 VQQ3MS Sheba H7614 TRIB , and Dedan H1719 . And the sons H1121 W-CMP of Dedan H1719 were H1961 VQQ3MP Asshurim H805 , and Letushim H3912 , and Leummim H3817 .
4 And the sons H1121 W-CMP of Midian H4080 ; Ephah H5891 , and Epher H6081 , and Hanoch H2585 , and Abida H28 , and Eldaah H420 . All H3605 NMS these H428 PMP were the children H1121 W-CMP of Keturah H6989 .
5 And Abraham H85 gave H5414 W-VQQ3MS all H3605 NMS that H834 RPRO he had unto Isaac H3327 .
6 But unto the sons H1121 of the concubines H6370 , which H834 RPRO Abraham H85 had , Abraham H85 gave H5414 VQQ3MS gifts H4979 , and sent them away H7971 W-VPY3MS-3MP from M-PREP Isaac H3327 his son H1121 CMS-3MS , while he yet H5750 lived H2416 AMS , eastward H6924 , unto H413 PREP the east H6924 NMS country H776 GFS .

12 Now these H428 W-PMP are the generations H8435 of Ishmael H3458 , Abraham H85 \'s son H1121 , whom H834 RPRO Hagar H1904 the Egyptian H4713 , Sarah H8283 \'s handmaid H8198 , bore H3205 unto Abraham H85 :

26 And after that came H3318 VQQ3MS his brother H251 CMS-3MS out , and his hand H3027 took hold H270 on Esau H6215 \'s heel H6119 ; and his name H8034 CMS-3MS was called H7121 W-VQY3MS Jacob H3290 : and Isaac H3327 was threescore H8346 years H8141 NFS old H1121 when she bore H3205 them .
27 And the boys H5288 D-NMP grew H1431 : and Esau H6215 was H1961 W-VQY3MS a cunning H3045 VQPMS hunter H6718 NMS , a man H376 NMS of the field H7704 ; and Jacob H3290 was a plain H8535 AMS man H376 NMS , dwelling H3427 VQPMS in tents H168 .

32 And Esau H6215 said H559 W-VQY3MS , Behold H2009 IJEC , I H595 PPRO-1MS am at the point H1980 VQPMS to die H4191 L-VQFC : and what profit H4100 WL-IGAT shall this H2088 PMS birthright H1062 do to me ?
33 And Jacob H3290 said H559 W-VQY3MS , Swear H7650 to me this day H3117 ; and he swore H7650 unto him : and he sold H4376 his birthright H1062 unto Jacob H3290 .
34 Then Jacob H3290 gave H5414 VQQ3MS Esau H6215 bread H3899 NMS and pottage H5138 of lentils H5742 ; and he did eat H398 and drink H8354 W-VQY3MS , and rose up H6965 W-VQY3MS , and went his way H1980 W-VQY3MS : thus Esau H6215 despised H959 his birthright H1062 .
