Jeremiah 14:2 (URV) Urdu Old BSI Version

1 خداوند کا وہ کلام جو خشک سالی کی بابت یرمیاہ پر نازل ہُوا۔
2 یہوداہؔ ماتم کرتا ہے اور اُسکے پھاٹکوں پر اُداسی چھائی ہے ۔ وہ ماتمی لباس میں خاک پر بیٹھے ہیں اور یروشیلم کا نالہ بلند ہُوا ہے۔
3 اُنکے امرا اپنے ادنیٰ لوگوں کو پانی کے لئے بھیجتے ہیں ۔ وہ چشموں تک جاتے ہیں پر پانی نہیں پاتے اور خالی گھڑے لئے لوٹ آتے ہیں ۔ وہ شرمندہ وپشیمان ہو کر اپنے سر ڈھاپنتے ہیں۔
4 چونکہ ملک میں بارش نہ ہُوئی اِسلئےِ زمین پھٹ گئی اورکسان سراسیمہ ہُوئے۔ وہ اپنے سر ڈھاپنتے ہیں۔
5 چنانچہ ہرنی میدان میں بچہ دیکر اُسے چھوڑ دیتی ہے کیونکہ گھاس نہیں ملتی ۔
6 اور گورخر اُونچی جگہوں پر کھڑے ہو کر گیدڑروں کی مانند ہاپنتے ہیں ۔ اُنکی آنکھیں رو جاتی ہیں کیونکہ گھاس نہیں ہے۔
7 اگرچہ ہماری بد کرداری ہم پر گواہی دیتی ہے تو بھی اے خداوند ! اپنے نام کی خاطر کچھ کر کیونکہ ہماری برگشتگی بہت ہے ۔ ہم تیرے خطا کار ہیں ۔
8 اَے اِسرائیل کی اُمید! مصیبت کے وقت اُسکے بچانے والے !تو کیوں ملک میں پر دیسی کی مانند بنااور اُس مُسافر کی مانند جو رات کاٹنے کے لئے ڈیرا ڈالے ؟۔
9 تو کیوں اِنسان کی مانند ہکا بکا ہے اور اُس بہادر کی مانند جو رہائی نہیں دے سکتا ؟ بہر حال اَے خداوند ! تو تو ہمارے درمیان ہے اور تیرے نام سے کہلاتے ہیں۔تو ہم کو ترک نہ کر۔
10 خداوند اِن لوگوں سے یوں فرماتا ہے ہے کہ اِنہوں نے گمراہی کو یوں دوست رکھا ہے اور اپنے پاؤں کو نہیں روکا اِسلئےِ خداوند اِنکو قبول نہیں کرتا ۔ اب وہ اِنکی بد کرداری یا د کریگا اور اِنکے گناہ کی سزا دیگا۔
11 اور خداوند نے مجھے فرمایا کہ اِن لوگوں کے لئے دُعا یِ خیر نہ کر ۔
12 کیونکہ جب یہ روزہ رکھیں تو میں اِنکا نالہ نہ سُنونگا اور جب سوختنی قربانی اور ہدیہ گذرانیں تو قبول نہ کرونگا بلکہ میں تلوار اور کال اور وبا سے اُنکو ہلاک کرونگا۔
13 تب میں نے کہا آہ! اَے خداوند خدا دیکھ انبیا اُن سے کہتے ہیں تم تلوار نہ دیکھو گے اور تم میں کال نہ پڑیگا بلکہ میں اس مقام میں تم کو حقیقی سلامتی بخشونگا ۔
14 تب خداوند نے مجھے فرمایا کہ انبیا میرا نام لیکر جھوٹی نبوُّت کرتے ہیں۔میں نے نہ اُنکو بھیجا اور نہ حکم دیا اور نہ اُن سے کلام کیا ۔ وہ جھوٹی رویا اور جھوٹا علم غیب اور بطالت اور اپنے دِلوں کی مکاری نبوت کی صورت میں تم پر ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔
15 اِسلئےِ خداوند یوں فرماتا ہے کہ نبی جنکو میں نے نہیں بھیجا جو میرا نام لیکر نبوت کرتے اور کہتے ہیں کہ تلوار اور کال اس ملک میں نہ آئینگے وہ تلوار اور کال ہی سے ہلاک ہونگے ۔
16 اور جن لوگوں سے وہ نبوت کرتے ہیں وہ کاں اور تلوار کے سبب سے یروشیلم کے کوچوں میں پھینک دِئے جائینگے ۔ اُنکو اور اُنکی بیویوں اور اُنکے بیٹوں اور اُنکی بیٹیوں کو دفن کرنے والا کوئی نہ ہوگا ۔ میں اُنکی بُرائی اُن پر اُنڈیل دُونگا ۔
17 اور تو اُن سے یوں کہنا کہ میری آنکھیں شب وروز آنسو بہائیں اور ہرگز نہ تھمیں کیونکہ میری کنواری دُختر قوم بڑی خستگی اور ضرب شدید سے شکستہ ہے۔
18 اگر میں باہر میدان میں جاؤں تو وہاں تلوار کے مقتول ہیں! اور اگر میں شہر میں داخل ہوؤں تو وہاں کال کے مارے ہیں! ہاں نبی اور کاہن دونوں ایک ایسے مُلک کو جا ئینگے جسے وہ نہیں جانتے ۔
19 کیا تو نے یہوداہؔ کو بالکل رد کردیا؟ کیا تیری جان کو صیون سے نفرت ہے؟ تو نے ہم کو کیوں مارا اور ہمارے لئے شفا نہیں ؟ سلامتی کا اِنتظار تھا پر کچھ فائدہ نہ ہوا اور شفا کے وقت کا پر دیکھو دہشت !۔
20 اَے خداوند ! ہم اپنی شرارت اور اپنے باپ دادا کی بد کرداری کا اِقرار کرتے ہیں کیونکہ ہم نے تیرا گناہ کیا ہے۔
21 اپنے نام کی خاطر رد نہ کر اور اپنے جلال کے تخت کی تحقیر نہ کر ۔ یا د فرما اور ہم سے رِشتہ عہد کو نہ توڑ ۔
22 قوموں کے بُتوں میں کوئی ہے جو مینہ برسا سکے یا افلاک بارش پر قادر ہیں ؟ اَے خداوند ہمارے خدا کیا وہ تو ہی نہیں ہے؟ پس ہم تجھ ہی اُمید رکھینگے کیونکہ تو ہی نے یہ سب کام کئے ہیں۔

3 And their nobles H117 have sent H7971 their little ones H6810 to the waters H4325 OMD : they came H935 VQQ3MP to H5921 PREP the pits H1356 , and found H4672 VQQ3MP no H3808 NADV water H4325 OMD ; they returned H7725 VQQ3MP with their vessels H3627 empty H7387 ADV ; they were ashamed H954 and confounded H3637 , and covered H2645 their heads H7218 .
4 Because H5668 B-NMS the ground H127 D-NFS is chapped H2865 , for H3588 CONJ there was H1961 VQQ3MS no H3808 NADV rain H1653 in the earth H776 B-NFS , the plowmen H406 were ashamed H954 , they covered H2645 their heads H7218 .
5 Yea H1571 CONJ , the hind H365 also calved H3205 in the field H7704 B-NMS , and forsook H5800 it , because H3588 CONJ there was H1961 VQQ3MS no H3808 ADV grass H1877 .
6 And the wild asses H6501 did stand H5975 VQQ3MP in H5921 PREP the high places H8205 , they snuffed up H7602 the wind H7307 NFS like dragons H8577 ; their eyes H5869 CMD-3MP did fail H3615 VQQ3MP , because H3588 CONJ there was no H369 NPAR grass H6212 .
7 O LORD H3068 EDS , though H518 PART our iniquities H5771 testify H6030 VQQ3MP against us , do H6213 VQI2MS thou it for thy name\'s sake H4616 L-CONJ : for H3588 CONJ our backslidings H4878 are many H7231 ; we have sinned H2398 against thee .
8 O the hope H4723 of Israel H3478 , the savior H3467 thereof in time H6256 of trouble H6869 NFS , why H4100 L-IPRO shouldest thou be H1961 as a stranger H1616 in the land H776 B-NFS , and as a wayfaring man H732 that turneth aside H5186 VQQ3MS to tarry H3885 for a night ?
9 Why H4100 L-IPRO shouldest thou be H1961 as a man H376 astonished H1724 , as a mighty man H1368 that cannot H3201 VQY3MS save H3467 ? yet thou H859 W-PPRO-2MS , O LORD H3068 EDS , art in the midst H7130 of us , and we are called H7121 by thy name H8034 ; leave H5117 us not H408 NPAR .
10 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS unto this H2088 D-PMS people H5971 , Thus H3651 ADV have they loved H157 to wander H5128 , they have not H3808 NADV refrained H2820 their feet H7272 CFD-3MP , therefore the LORD H3068 W-EDS doth not H3808 NADV accept H7521 them ; he will now H6258 ADV remember H2142 their iniquity H5771 , and visit H6485 their sins H2403 .
11 Then said H559 W-VQY3MS the LORD H3068 EDS unto H413 me , Pray H6419 not H408 NPAR for H1157 PREP this H2088 D-PMS people H5971 for their good H2896 .
12 When H3588 CONJ they fast H6684 , I will not H369 hear H8085 their cry H7440 ; and when H3588 CONJ they offer H5927 burnt offering H5930 and an oblation H4503 , I will not H369 accept H7521 them : but H3588 CONJ I H595 PPRO-1MS will consume H3615 them by the sword H2719 , and by the famine H7458 , and by the pestilence H1698 .
13 Then said H559 W-VQY1MS I , Ah H162 , Lord H136 EDS GOD H3069 ! behold H2009 IJEC , the prophets H5030 say H559 unto them , Ye shall not H3808 ADV see H7200 the sword H2719 GFS , neither H3808 ADV shall ye have H1961 VQY3MS famine H7458 ; but H3588 CONJ I will give H5414 VQY1MS you assured H571 CFS peace H7965 in this H2088 D-PMS place H4725 .
14 Then the LORD H3068 EDS said H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP-1MS me , The prophets H5030 prophesy H5012 lies H8267 NMS in my name H8034 : I sent H7971 them not H3808 NADV , neither H3808 W-NADV have I commanded H6680 them , neither H3808 W-NADV spoke H1696 unto H413 PREP-3MP them : they H1992 PPRO-3MP prophesy H5012 unto you a false H8267 NMS vision H2377 and divination H7081 , and a thing of naught H434 , and the deceit H8649 of their heart H3820 CMS-3MP .
15 Therefore H3651 L-ADV thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS concerning H5921 PREP the prophets H5030 that prophesy H5012 in my name H8034 , and I H589 W-PPRO-1MS sent H7971 them not H3808 ADV , yet they H1992 say H559 , Sword H2719 GFS and famine H7458 shall not H3808 NADV be H1961 VQY3MS in this H2063 D-DFS land H776 B-NFS ; By sword H2719 and famine H7458 shall those H1992 prophets H5030 be consumed H8552 .
16 And the people H5971 to whom H834 RPRO they H1992 PPRO-3MP prophesy H5012 shall be H1961 cast out H7993 in the streets H2351 of Jerusalem H3389 because H6440 M-CMP of the famine H7458 D-NMS and the sword H2719 ; and they shall have none H369 W-NPAR to bury H6912 them H1992 , them H1992 PPRO-3MP , their wives H802 , nor their sons H1121 , nor their daughters H1323 : for I will pour H8210 their wickedness H7451 upon H5921 PREP-3MP them .

18 If H518 PART I go forth H3318 VQPFS-1MS into the field H7704 D-NMS , then behold H2009 IJEC the slain H2491 with the sword H2719 GFS ! and if H518 PART I enter H935 into the city H5892 D-GFS , then behold H2009 IJEC them that are sick H8463 with famine H7458 NMS ! yea H3588 CONJ , both H1571 CONJ the prophet H5030 and H1571 CONJ the priest H3548 go about H5503 into H413 PREP a land H776 GFS that they know H3045 not H3808 W-NPAR .
19 Hast thou utterly rejected H3988 Judah H3063 ? hath thy soul H5315 loathed H1602 Zion H6726 ? why H4069 IPRO hast thou smitten H5221 us , and there is no H369 W-NPAR healing H4832 for us ? we looked H6960 for peace H7965 , and there is no H369 W-NPAR good H2896 AMS ; and for the time H6256 of healing H4832 , and behold H2009 IJEC trouble H1205 !
20 We acknowledge H3045 , O LORD H3068 EDS , our wickedness H7562 , and the iniquity H5771 of our fathers H1 : for H3588 CONJ we have sinned H2398 against thee .
21 Do not H408 NPAR abhor H5006 us , for thy name\'s sake H4616 L-CONJ , do not H408 NPAR disgrace H5034 the throne H3678 of thy glory H3519 : remember H2142 VQI2MS , break H6565 VHY2MS not H408 NPAR thy covenant H1285 with H854 us .
22 Are there H3426 I-ADV any among the vanities H1892 of the Gentiles H1471 D-NMP that can cause rain H1652 ? or H518 W-PART can the heavens H8064 D-NMD give H5414 showers H7241 ? art not H3808 I-NADV thou H859 PPRO-2MS he H1931 PPRO-3MS , O LORD H3068 EDS our God H430 ? therefore we will wait H6960 upon thee : for H3588 CONJ thou H859 PPRO-2MS hast made H6213 VQQ2MS all H3605 NMS these H428 DPRO things .
