KNV   ದಾವೀದನು ತನಗೆ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ಹೇಳಿದ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನಿಗೆ--ಸೌಲನೂ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋನಾತಾನನೂ ಸತ್ತರೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು ಅಂದನು.
ERVKN   ದಾವೀದನು ಯುವಕನಿಗೆ, “ಸೌಲನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಸತ್ತರೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
