5 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಯೆಹೂದದವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃ ಗಳ ಮನೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಹಸ್ರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಶತಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿ ಆದುಕೊಂಡಂಥ, ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗತಕ್ಕಂಥ, ಈಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಖೇಡ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಂಥ ಮೂರು ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.

ERVEN   Amaziah gathered the people of Judah together. He grouped them by families and he put generals and captains in charge of these groups. The leaders were in charge of all the soldiers from Judah and Benjamin. All the men who were chosen to be soldiers were 20 years old and older. In all there were 300,000 skilled soldiers ready to fight with spears and shields.
