28 Where can we go? Our brothers have made us lose heart. They say,`The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky. We even saw the Anakites there.'"

ERVKN   ನಾವೀಗ ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ? ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರು ತಮ್ಮ ವರದಿಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ‘ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಜನರು ದೃಢಕಾಯರೂ ಬಲಶಾಲಿಗಳೂ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಪುರುಷರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ದೊಡ್ಡವುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವುಗಳ ಗೋಡೆಗಳು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಟ್ಟುವಷ್ಟು ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿವೆ. ನಾವು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಾಕ್ಯರೆಂಬ ಮಹಾ ಶರೀರಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆವು!’ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ನಾವು ಭಯದಿಂದ ತತ್ತರಿಸಿದೆವು.
