9 அப்படியே ஆசகேல் நாற்பது ஒட்டகங்கள் சுமக்கும் பொதிகளில், தமஸ்குவில் கிடைக்கக்கூடிய மிகச்சிறந்த பொருட்களை அன்பளிப்பாக எடுத்துக்கொண்டு எலிசாவைச் சந்திக்கப் போனான். அவன் எலிசாவுக்கு முன்னால் போய் நின்று, “சீரிய அரசனான உம்முடைய மகன் பெனாதாத், ‘வியாதியிலிருந்து நான் சுகமாவேனா?’ என்று உம்மிடம் கேட்கும்படி என்னை அனுப்பினான்” என்றான்.

IRVUR   तब हज़ाएल उससे मिलने को चला और उसने दमिश्क़ की हर उम्दा चीज़ में से चालीस ऊँटों पर तोहफ़े लदवाकर अपने साथ लिया, और आकर उसके सामने खड़ा हुआ और कहने लगा, तेरे बेटे बिनहदद अराम के बादशाह ने मुझ को तेरे पास ये पूछने को भेजा है, 'मैं इस बीमारी से शिफ़ा पाऊँगा या नहीं?“
