28 And Saul turneth back from pursuing after David, and goeth to meet the Philistines, therefore they have called that place `The Rock of Divisions.`

TEV   సౌలు దావీదును తరుముట మాని వెనుకకు తిరిగి ఫిలిష్తీయులను ఎదుర్కొనబోయెను. కాబట్టి సెలహమ్మలెకోతు1 అని ఆ స్థలమునకు పేరు పెట్టబడెను.
ERVTE   అంతటితో సౌలు దావీదును వెంటాడటం మాని ఫిలిష్తీయులను ఎదుర్కోటానికి వెళ్లాడు. అందువల్ల ప్రజలు ఈ ప్రదేశానికి, “జారుడు బండ” అని పేరు పెట్టారు. 29దావీదు మోయోను ఎడారి వదలి ఏన్గెదీ దగ్గర ఉన్న కొండస్థలాలకు వెళ్లాడు.
KNV   ಸೌಲನು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯ ರಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿಲಾಹಮಹ್ಲೆಕೋತ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರು.
ERVKN   ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುದನ್ನು ಸೌಲನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರೊಡನೆ ಹೋರಾಡಲು ಹೋದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದಲೇ ಜನರು ಆ ಜಾಗವನ್ನು “ಜಾರುಬಂಡೆ” ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
