Isaiah 54:1
1
Sing,
O
barren,
thou
that
didst
not
bear;
break
forth
into
singing,
and
cry
aloud,
thou
that
didst
not
travail
with
child:
for
more
are
the
children
of
the
desolate
than
the
children
of
the
married
wife,
saith
the
LORD.
Isaiah 60:4
4
Lift
up
thine
eyes
round
about,
and
see:
all
they
gather
themselves
together,
they
come
to
thee:
thy
sons
shall
come
from
far,
and
thy
daughters
shall
be
nursed
at
thy
side.

1
At
the
same
time,
saith
the
LORD,
will
I
be
the
God
of
all
the
families
of
Israel,
and
they
shall
be
my
people.
2
Thus
saith
the
LORD,
The
people
which
were
left
of
the
sword
found
grace
in
the
wilderness;
even
Israel,
when
I
went
to
cause
him
to
rest.
3
The
LORD
hath
appeared
of
old
unto
me,
saying,
Yea,
I
have
loved
thee
with
an
everlasting
love:
therefore
with
lovingkindness
have
I
drawn
thee.
4
Again
I
will
build
thee,
and
thou
shalt
be
built,
O
virgin
of
Israel:
thou
shalt
again
be
adorned
with
thy
tabrets,
and
shalt
go
forth
in
the
dances
of
them
that
make
merry.
5
Thou
shalt
yet
plant
vines
upon
the
mountains
of
Samaria:
the
planters
shall
plant,
and
shall
eat
them
as
common
things.
6
For
there
shall
be
a
day,
that
the
watchmen
upon
the
mount
Ephraim
shall
cry,
Arise
ye,
and
let
us
go
up
to
Zion
unto
the
LORD
our
God.
7
For
thus
saith
the
LORD;
Sing
with
gladness
for
Jacob,
and
shout
among
the
chief
of
the
nations:
publish
ye,
praise
ye,
and
say,
O
LORD,
save
thy
people,
the
remnant
of
Israel.
8
Behold,
I
will
bring
them
from
the
north
country,
and
gather
them
from
the
coasts
of
the
earth,
and
with
them
the
blind
and
the
lame,
the
woman
with
child
and
her
that
travaileth
with
child
together:
a
great
company
shall
return
thither.
9
They
shall
come
with
weeping,
and
with
supplications
will
I
lead
them:
I
will
cause
them
to
walk
by
the
rivers
of
waters
in
a
straight
way,
wherein
they
shall
not
stumble:
for
I
am
a
father
to
Israel,
and
Ephraim
is
my
firstborn.
10
Hear
the
word
of
the
LORD,
O
ye
nations,
and
declare
it
in
the
isles
afar
off,
and
say,
He
that
scattered
Israel
will
gather
him,
and
keep
him,
as
a
shepherd
doth
his
flock.
11
For
the
LORD
hath
redeemed
Jacob,
and
ransomed
him
from
the
hand
of
him
that
was
stronger
than
he.
12
Therefore
they
shall
come
and
sing
in
the
height
of
Zion,
and
shall
flow
together
to
the
goodness
of
the
LORD,
for
wheat,
and
for
wine,
and
for
oil,
and
for
the
young
of
the
flock
and
of
the
herd:
and
their
soul
shall
be
as
a
watered
garden;
and
they
shall
not
sorrow
any
more
at
all.
13
Then
shall
the
virgin
rejoice
in
the
dance,
both
young
men
and
old
together:
for
I
will
turn
their
mourning
into
joy,
and
will
comfort
them,
and
make
them
rejoice
from
their
sorrow.
14
And
I
will
satiate
the
soul
of
the
priests
with
fatness,
and
my
people
shall
be
satisfied
with
my
goodness,
saith
the
LORD.
15
Thus
saith
the
LORD;
A
voice
was
heard
in
Ramah,
lamentation,
and
bitter
weeping;
Rahel
weeping
for
her
children
refused
to
be
comforted
for
her
children,
because
they
were
not.
16
Thus
saith
the
LORD;
Refrain
thy
voice
from
weeping,
and
thine
eyes
from
tears:
for
thy
work
shall
be
rewarded,
saith
the
LORD;
and
they
shall
come
again
from
the
land
of
the
enemy.
17
And
there
is
hope
in
thine
end,
saith
the
LORD,
that
thy
children
shall
come
again
to
their
own
border.
18
I
have
surely
heard
Ephraim
bemoaning
himself
thus;
Thou
hast
chastised
me,
and
I
was
chastised,
as
a
bullock
unaccustomed
to
the
yoke:
turn
thou
me,
and
I
shall
be
turned;
for
thou
art
the
LORD
my
God.
19
Surely
after
that
I
was
turned,
I
repented;
and
after
that
I
was
instructed,
I
smote
upon
my
thigh:
I
was
ashamed,
yea,
even
confounded,
because
I
did
bear
the
reproach
of
my
youth.
20
Is
Ephraim
my
dear
son?
is
he
a
pleasant
child?
for
since
I
spake
against
him,
I
do
earnestly
remember
him
still:
therefore
my
bowels
are
troubled
for
him;
I
will
surely
have
mercy
upon
him,
saith
the
LORD.
21
Set
thee
up
waymarks,
make
thee
high
heaps:
set
thine
heart
toward
the
highway,
even
the
way
which
thou
wentest:
turn
again,
O
virgin
of
Israel,
turn
again
to
these
thy
cities.
22
How
long
wilt
thou
go
about,
O
thou
backsliding
daughter?
for
the
LORD
hath
created
a
new
thing
in
the
earth,
A
woman
shall
compass
a
man.
23
Thus
saith
the
LORD
of
hosts,
the
God
of
Israel;
As
yet
they
shall
use
this
speech
in
the
land
of
Judah
and
in
the
cities
thereof,
when
I
shall
bring
again
their
captivity;
The
LORD
bless
thee,
O
habitation
of
justice,
and
mountain
of
holiness.
24
And
there
shall
dwell
in
Judah
itself,
and
in
all
the
cities
thereof
together,
husbandmen,
and
they
that
go
forth
with
flocks.
25
For
I
have
satiated
the
weary
soul,
and
I
have
replenished
every
sorrowful
soul.
26
Upon
this
I
awaked,
and
beheld;
and
my
sleep
was
sweet
unto
me.
27
Behold,
the
days
come,
saith
the
LORD,
that
I
will
sow
the
house
of
Israel
and
the
house
of
Judah
with
the
seed
of
man,
and
with
the
seed
of
beast.
28
And
it
shall
come
to
pass,
that
like
as
I
have
watched
over
them,
to
pluck
up,
and
to
break
down,
and
to
throw
down,
and
to
destroy,
and
to
afflict;
so
will
I
watch
over
them,
to
build,
and
to
plant,
saith
the
LORD.
29
In
those
days
they
shall
say
no
more,
The
fathers
have
eaten
a
sour
grape,
and
the
children’s
teeth
are
set
on
edge.
30
But
every
one
shall
die
for
his
own
iniquity:
every
man
that
eateth
the
sour
grape,
his
teeth
shall
be
set
on
edge.
31
Behold,
the
days
come,
saith
the
LORD,
that
I
will
make
a
new
covenant
with
the
house
of
Israel,
and
with
the
house
of
Judah:
32
Not
according
to
the
covenant
that
I
made
with
their
fathers
in
the
day
that
I
took
them
by
the
hand
to
bring
them
out
of
the
land
of
Egypt;
which
my
covenant
they
brake,
although
I
was
an
husband
unto
them,
saith
the
LORD:
33
But
this
shall
be
the
covenant
that
I
will
make
with
the
house
of
Israel;
After
those
days,
saith
the
LORD,
I
will
put
my
law
in
their
inward
parts,
and
write
it
in
their
hearts;
and
will
be
their
God,
and
they
shall
be
my
people.
34
And
they
shall
teach
no
more
every
man
his
neighbour,
and
every
man
his
brother,
saying,
Know
the
LORD:
for
they
shall
all
know
me,
from
the
least
of
them
unto
the
greatest
of
them,
saith
the
LORD;
for
I
will
forgive
their
iniquity,
and
I
will
remember
their
sin
no
more.
35
Thus
saith
the
LORD,
which
giveth
the
sun
for
a
light
by
day,
and
the
ordinances
of
the
moon
and
of
the
stars
for
a
light
by
night,
which
divideth
the
sea
when
the
waves
thereof
roar;
The
LORD
of
hosts
is
his
name:
36
If
those
ordinances
depart
from
before
me,
saith
the
LORD,
then
the
seed
of
Israel
also
shall
cease
from
being
a
nation
before
me
for
ever.
37
Thus
saith
the
LORD;
If
heaven
above
can
be
measured,
and
the
foundations
of
the
earth
searched
out
beneath,
I
will
also
cast
off
all
the
seed
of
Israel
for
all
that
they
have
done,
saith
the
LORD.
38
Behold,
the
days
come,
saith
the
LORD,
that
the
city
shall
be
built
to
the
LORD
from
the
tower
of
Hananeel
unto
the
gate
of
the
corner.
39
And
the
measuring
line
shall
yet
go
forth
over
against
it
upon
the
hill
Gareb,
and
shall
compass
about
to
Goath.
40
And
the
whole
valley
of
the
dead
bodies,
and
of
the
ashes,
and
all
the
fields
unto
the
brook
of
Kidron,
unto
the
corner
of
the
horse
gate
toward
the
east,
shall
be
holy
unto
the
LORD;
it
shall
not
be
plucked
up,
nor
thrown
down
any
more
for
ever.
Ezekiel 20:43
43
And
there
shall
ye
remember
your

and
all
your

wherein
ye
have
been
defiled;
and
ye
shall
lothe
yourselves
in
your

sight
for
all
your
evils
that
ye
have
committed.
Ezekiel 36:31
31
Then
shall
ye
remember
your
own
evil
ways,
and
your
doings
that
were
not
good,
and
shall
lothe
yourselves

Isaiah 54:1
1
Sing,
O
barren,
she
hath
not
borne!
Break
forth
with
singing,
and
cry
aloud,
She
hath
not
brought
forth!
For
more
are
the
sons
of
the
desolate,
Than
the
sons
of
the
married
one,
said
Jehovah.
Isaiah 60:4
4
Lift
up
round
about
thine
eyes
and
see,
All
of
them
have
been
gathered,
they
have
come
to
thee,
Thy
sons
from
afar
do
come,
And
thy
daughters
on
the
side
are
supported.

At
that
time,
an
affirmation
of
Jehovah,
I
am
for
God
to
all
families
of
Israel,
And
they
--
they
are
to
Me
for
a
people.
2
Thus
said
Jehovah:
Found
grace
in
the
wilderness
Hath
a
people
remaining
from
the
sword
Going
to
cause
it
to
rest
--
Israel.
3
From
afar
Jehovah
hath
appeared
to
me,
With
love
age-during
I
have
loved
thee,
Therefore
I
have
drawn
thee
with
kindness.
4
Again
do
I
build
thee,
And
thou
hast
been
built,
O
virgin
of
Israel,
Again
thou
puttest
on
thy
tabrets,
And
hast
gone
out
in
the
chorus
of
the
playful.
5
Again
thou
dost
plant
vineyards
In
mountains
of
Samaria,
Planters

6
For
there
is
a
day,
Cried
have
watchmen
on
mount
Ephraim,
`Rise,
and
we
go
up
to
Zion,
unto
Jehovah
our
God;
7
For
thus
said
Jehovah:
Sing,
O
ye
to
Jacob,
with
joy,
And
cry
aloud
at
the
head
of
the
nations,
Sound
ye,
praise
ye,
and
say,
Save,
O
Jehovah,
thy
people,
the
remnant
of
Israel.
8
Lo,
I
am
bringing
them
in
from
the
north
country,
And
have
gathered
them
from
the
sides
of
the
earth,
Among
them
are
blind
and
lame,
Conceiving
and
travailing
one
--
together,
A
great
assembly
--
they
turn
back
hither.
9
With
weeping
they
come
in,
And
with
supplications
I
bring
them,
I
cause
them
to
go
unto
streams
of
waters,
In
a
right
way
--
they
stumble
not
in
it,
For
I
have
been
to
Israel
for
a
father,
And
Ephraim
--
My
first-born
is
he.
10
Hear
a
word
of
Jehovah,
O
nations,
And
declare
ye
among
isles
afar
off,
and
say:
He
who
is
scattering
Israel
doth
gather
him,
And
hath
kept
him
as
a
shepherd
doth
his
flock,
11
For
Jehovah
hath
ransomed
Jacob,
And
redeemed
him
from
a
hand
stronger
than
he.
12
And
they
have
come
in,
And
have
sung
in
the
high
place
of
Zion,
And
flowed
unto
the
goodness
of
Jehovah,
For
wheat,
and
for
new
wine,
and
for
oil,
And
for
the
young
of
the
flock
and
herd,
And
their
soul
hath
been
as
a
watered
garden,
And
they
add
not
to
grieve
any
more.
13
Then
rejoice
doth
a
virgin
in
a
chorus,
Both
young
men
and
old
men
--
together,
And
I
have
turned
their
mourning
to
joy,
And
have
comforted
them,
And
gladdened
them
above
their
sorrow,
14
And
satisfied
the
soul
of
the
priests
with
fatness,
And
My
people
with
My
goodness
are
satisfied,
An
affirmation
of
Jehovah.
15
Thus
said
Jehovah,
A
voice
in
Ramah
is
heard,
wailing,
weeping
most
bitter,
Rachel
is
weeping
for
her
sons,
She
hath
refused
to
be
comforted
for
her
sons,
because
they
are
not.
16
Thus
said
Jehovah:
Withhold
thy
voice
from
weeping,
and
thine
eyes
from
tears,
For
there
is
a
reward
for
thy
work,
An
affirmation
of
Jehovah,
And
they
have
turned
back
from
the
land
of
the
enemy.
17
And
there
is
hope
for
thy
latter
end,
An
affirmation
of
Jehovah,
And
the
sons
have
turned
back
to
their
border.
18
I
have
surely
heard
Ephraim
bemoaning
himself,
`Thou
hast
chastised
me,
And
I
am
chastised,
as
a
heifer
not
taught,
Turn
me
back,
and
I
turn
back,
For
thou
art
Jehovah
my
God.
19
For
after
my
turning
back
I
repented,
And
after
my
being
instructed
I
struck
on
the
thigh,
I
have
been
ashamed,
I
have
also
blushed,
For
I
have
borne
the
reproach
of
my
youth.
20
A
precious
son
is
Ephraim
to
Me?
A
child
of
delights?
For
since
My
speaking
against
him,
I
do
thoroughly
remember
him
still,
Therefore
have
My
bowels
been
moved
for
him,
I
do
greatly
love
him,
An
affirmation
of
Jehovah.
21
Set
up
for
thee
signs,
make
for
thee
heaps,
Set
thy
heart
to
the
highway,
the
way
thou
wentest,
Turn
back,
O
virgin
of
Israel,
Turn
back
unto
these
thy
cities.
22
Till
when
dost
thou
withdraw
thyself,
O
backsliding
daughter?
For
Jehovah
hath
prepared
a
new
thing
in
the
land,
Woman
doth
compass
man.
23
Thus
said
Jehovah
of
Hosts,
God
of
Israel,
Still
they
say
this
word
in
the
land
of
Judah,
And
in
its
cities,
In
My
turning
back
to
their
captivity,
Jehovah
doth
bless
thee,
habitation
of
righteousness,
Mountain
of
holiness.
24
And
dwelt
in
Judah
have
husbandmen,
and
in
all
its
cities
together,
And
they
have
journeyed
in
order.
25
For
I
have
satiated
the
weary
soul,
And
every
grieved
soul
I
have
filled.`
26
On
this
I
have
awaked,
and
I
behold,
and
my
sleep
hath
been
sweet
to
me.
27
Lo,
days
are
coming,
an
affirmation
of
Jehovah,
And
I
have
sown
the
house
of
Israel,
And
the
house
of
Judah,
With
seed
of
man,
and
seed
of
beast.
28
And
it
hath
been,
as
I
watched
over
them
to
pluck
up,
And
to
break
down,
and
to
throw
down,
And
to
destroy,
and
to
afflict;
So
do
I
watch
over
them
to
build,
and
to
plant,
An
affirmation
of
Jehovah.
29
In
those
days
they
do
not
say
any
more:
Fathers
have
eaten
unripe
fruit,
And
the
sons`
teeth
are
blunted.
30
But
--
each
for
his
own
iniquity
doth
die,
Every
man
who
is
eating
the
unripe
fruit,
Blunted
are
his
teeth.
31
Lo,
days
are
coming,
an
affirmation
of
Jehovah,
And
I
have
made
with
the
house
of
Israel
And
with
the
house
of
Judah
a
new
covenant,
32
Not
like
the
covenant
that
I
made
with
their
fathers,
In
the
day
of
My
laying
hold
on
their
hand,
To
bring
them
out
of
the
land
of
Egypt,
In
that
they
made
void
My
covenant,
And
I
ruled
over
them
--
an
affirmation
of
Jehovah.
33
For
this
is
the
covenant
that
I
make,
With
the
house
of
Israel,
after
those
days,
An
affirmation
of
Jehovah,
I
have
given
My
law
in
their
inward
part,
And
on
their
heart
I
do
write
it,
And
I
have
been
to
them
for
God,
And
they
are
to
me
for
a
people.
34
And
they
do
not
teach
any
more
Each
his
neighbour,
and
each
his
brother,
Saying,
Know
ye
Jehovah,
For
they
all
know
Me,
from
their
least
unto
their
greatest,
An
affirmation
of
Jehovah;
For
I
pardon
their
iniquity,
And
of
their
sin
I
make
mention
no
more.
35
Thus
said
Jehovah,
Who
is
giving

sun
for

by
day,
The
statutes
of
moon
and
stars

night,
Quieting
the

when
its

roar,
Jehovah
of
Hosts
is
His
name:
36
If
these
statutes
depart
from
before
Me,
An
affirmation
of
Jehovah,
Even
the
seed
of
Israel
doth
cease
From
being
a
nation
before
Me
all
the
days.
37
Thus
said

An

shall
be
rewarded,
saith
Jehovah;
and
they
shall
come
again
from
the
land
of
the
enemy.
17
And
there
is
hope
for
thy
latter
end,
saith
Jehovah;
and
thy
children
shall
come
again
to
their
own
border.
18
I
have
surely
heard
Ephraim
bemoaning
himself
thus,
Thou
hast
chastised
me,
and
I
was
chastised,
as
a
calf
unaccustomed
to
the
yoke:
turn
thou
me,
and
I
shall
be
turned;
for
thou
art
Jehovah
my
God.
19
Surely
after
that
I
was
turned,
I
repented;
and
after
that
I
was
instructed,
I
smote
upon
my
thigh:
I
was
ashamed,
yea,
even
confounded,
because
I
did
bear
the
reproach
of
my
youth.
20
Is
Ephraim
my
dear
son?
is
he
a
darling
child?
for
as
often
as
I
speak
against
him,
I
do
earnestly
remember
him
still:
therefore
my
heart
yearneth
for
him;
I
will
surely
have
mercy
upon
him,
saith
Jehovah.
21
Set
thee
up
waymarks,
make
thee
guide-posts;
set
thy
heart
toward
the
highway,
even
the
way
by
which
thou
wentest:
turn
again,
O
virgin
of
Israel,
turn
again
to
these
thy
cities.
22
How
long
wilt
thou
go
hither
and
thither,
O
thou
backsliding
daughter?
for
Jehovah
hath
created
a
new
thing
in
the
earth:
a
woman
shall
encompass
a
man.
23
Thus
saith
Jehovah
of
hosts,
the
God
of
Israel,
Yet
again
shall
they
use
this
speech
in
the
land
of
Judah
and
in
the
cities
thereof,
when
I
shall
bring
again
their
captivity:
Jehovah
bless
thee,
O
habitation
of
righteousness,
O
mountain
of
holiness.
24
And
Judah
and
all
the
cities
thereof
shall
dwell
therein
together,
the
husbandmen,
and
they
that
go
about
with
flocks.
25
For
I
have
satiated
the
weary
soul,
and
every
sorrowful
soul
have
I
replenished.
26
Upon
this
I
awaked,
and
beheld;
and
my
sleep
was
sweet
unto
me.
27
Behold,
the
days
come,
saith
Jehovah,
that
I
will
sow
the
house
of
Israel
and
the
house
of
Judah
with
the
seed
of
man,
and
with
the
seed
of
beast.
28
And
it
shall
come
to
pass
that,
like
as
I
have
watched
over
them
to
pluck
up
and
to
break
down
and
to
overthrow
and
to
destroy
and
to
afflict,
so
will
I
watch
over
them
to
build
and
to
plant,
saith
Jehovah.
29
In
those
days
they
shall
say
no
more,
The
fathers
have
eaten
sour
grapes,
and
the
childrens
teeth
are
set
on
edge.
30
But
every
one
shall
die
for
his
own
iniquity:
every
man
that
eateth
the
sour
grapes,
his
teeth
shall
be
set
on
edge.
31
Behold,
the
days
come,
saith
Jehovah,
that
I
will
make
a
new
covenant
with
the
house
of
Israel,
and
with
the
house
of
Judah:
32
not
according
to
the
covenant
that
I
made
with
their
fathers
in
the
day
that
I
took
them
by
the
hand
to
bring
them
out
of
the
land
of
Egypt;
which
my
covenant
they
brake,
although
I
was
a
husband
unto
them,
saith
Jehovah.
33
But
this
is
the
covenant
that
I
will
make
with
the
house
of
Israel
after
those
days,
saith
Jehovah:
I
will
put
my
law
in
their
inward
parts,
and
in
their
heart
will
I
write
it;
and
I
will
be
their
God,
and
they
shall
be
my
people:
34
and
they
shall
teach
no
more
every
man
his
neighbor,
and
every
man
his
brother,
saying,
Know
Jehovah;
for
they
shall
all
know
me,
from
the
least
of
them
unto
the
greatest
of
them,
saith
Jehovah:
for
I
will
forgive
their
iniquity,
and
their
sin
will
I
remember
no
more.
35
Thus
saith
Jehovah,
who
giveth
the
sun
for
a
light
by
day,
and
the
ordinances
of
the
moon
and
of
the
stars
for
a
light
by
night,
who
stirreth
up
the
sea,
so
that
the
waves
thereof
roar;
Jehovah
of
hosts
is
his
name:
36
If
these
ordinances
depart
from
before
me,
saith
Jehovah,
then
the
seed
of
Israel
also
shall
cease
from
being
a
nation
before
me
for
ever.
37
Thus
saith
Jehovah:
If
heaven
above
can
be
measured,
and
the
foundations
of
the
earth
searched
out
beneath,
then
will
I
also
cast
off
all
the
seed
of
Israel
for
all
that
they
have
done,
saith
Jehovah.
38
Behold,
the
days
come,
saith
Jehovah,
that
the
city
shall
be
built
to
Jehovah
from
the
tower
of
Hananel
unto
the
gate
of
the
corner.
39
And
the
measuring
line
shall
go
out
further
straight
onward
unto
the
hill
Gareb,
and
shall
turn
about
unto
Goah.
40
And
the
whole
valley
of
the
dead
bodies
and
of
the
ashes,
and
all
the
fields
unto
the
brook
Kidron,
unto
the
corner
of
the
horse
gate
toward
the
east,
shall
be
holy
unto
Jehovah;
it
shall
not
be
plucked
up,
nor
thrown
down
any
more
for
ever.
Ezekiel 20:43
43
And
there
shall
ye
remember
your
ways,
and
all
your
doings,
wherein
ye
have
polluted
yourselves;
and
ye
shall
loathe
yourselves
in
your
own
sight
for
all
your
evils
that
ye
have
committed.
Ezekiel 36:31
31
Then
shall
ye
remember
your
evil
ways,
and
your
doings
that
were
not
good;
and
ye
shall
loathe
yourselves
in
your
own
sight
for
your
iniquities
and
for
your
abominations.
Galatians 4:26
26
But
the
Jerusalem
that
is
above
is
free,
which
is
our
mother.

barren,
you
who
didn't

break
forth
into
singing,
and
cry
aloud,
you
who
did
not

with

of
the

than
the
children
of
the
married
wife,
says
Yahweh.

up
your

and
see:
they
all
gather

they
come
to
you;
your
sons
shall
come
from
far,
and
your
daughters
shall
be

At
that
time,
says
Yahweh,
will
I
be
the
God
of
all
the
families
of
Israel,
and
they
shall
be
my
people.
2
Thus
says
Yahweh,
The
people
who
were
left
of
the
sword
found
favor
in
the
wilderness;
even
Israel,
when
I
went
to
cause
him
to
rest.
3
Yahweh
appeared
of
old
to
me,
saying,
Yes,
I
have
loved
you
with
an
everlasting
love:
therefore
with
loving
kindness
have
I
drawn
you.
4
Again
will
I
build
you,
and
you
shall
be
built,
O
virgin
of
Israel:
again
shall
you
be
adorned
with
your
tambourines,
and
shall
go
forth
in
the
dances
of
those
who
make
merry.
5
Again
shall
you
plant
vineyards
on
the
mountains
of
Samaria;
the
planters
shall
plant,
and
shall
enjoy
the
fruit
of
it.
6
For
there
shall
be
a
day,
that
the
watchmen
on
the
hills
of
Ephraim
shall
cry,
Arise
you
,
and
let
us
go
up
to
Zion
to
Yahweh
our
God.
7
For
thus
says
Yahweh,
Sing
with
gladness
for
Jacob,
and
shout
for
the
chief
of
the
nations:
publish
you
,
praise
you
,
and
say,
Yahweh,
save
your
people,
the
remnant
of
Israel.
8
Behold,
I
will
bring
them
from
the
north
country,
and
gather
them
from
the
uttermost
parts
of
the
earth,
and
with
them
the
blind
and
the
lame,
the
woman
with
child
and
her
who
travails
with
child
together:
a
great
company
shall
they
return
here.
9
They
shall
come
with
weeping;
and
with
petitions
will
I
lead
them:
I
will
cause
them
to
walk
by
rivers
of
waters,
in
a
straight
way
in
which
they
shall
not
stumble;
for
I
am
a
father
to
Israel,
and
Ephraim
is
my
firstborn.
10
Hear
the
word
of
Yahweh,
you
nations,
and
declare
it
in
the
isles
afar
off;
and
say,
He
who
scattered
Israel
will
gather
him,
and
keep
him,
as
shepherd
does
his
flock.
11
For
Yahweh
has
ransomed
Jacob,
and
redeemed
him
from
the
hand
of
him
who
was
stronger
than
he.
12
They
shall
come
and
sing
in
the
height
of
Zion,
and
shall
flow
to
the
goodness
of
Yahweh,
to
the
grain,
and
to
the
new
wine,
and
to
the
oil,
and
to
the
young
of
the
flock
and
of
the
herd:
and
their
soul
shall
be
as
a
watered
garden;
and
they
shall
not
sorrow
any
more
at
all.
13
Then
shall
the
virgin
rejoice
in
the
dance,
and
the
young
men
and
the
old
together;
for
I
will
turn
their
mourning
into
joy,
and
will
comfort
them,
and
make
them
rejoice
from
their
sorrow.
14
I
will
satiate
the
soul
of
the
priests
with
fatness,
and
my
people
shall
be
satisfied
with
my
goodness,
says
Yahweh.
15
Thus
says
Yahweh:
A
voice
is
heard
in
Ramah,
lamentation,
and
bitter
weeping,
Rachel
weeping
for
her
children;
she
refuses
to
be
comforted
for
her
children,
because
they
are
no
more.
16
Thus
says
Yahweh:
Refrain
your
voice
from
weeping,
and
your
eyes
from
tears;
for
your
work
shall
be
rewarded,
says
Yahweh;
and
they
shall
come
again
from
the
land
of
the
enemy.
17
There
is
hope
for
your
latter
end,
says
Yahweh;
and
your
children
shall
come
again
to
their
own
border.
18
I
have
surely
heard
Ephraim
bemoaning
himself
thus,
You
have
chastised
me,
and
I
was
chastised,
as
a
calf
unaccustomed
to
the
yoke:
turn
you
me,
and
I
shall
be
turned;
for
you
are
Yahweh
my
God.
19
Surely
after
that
I
was
turned,
I
repented;
and
after
that
I
was
instructed,
I
struck
on
my
thigh:
I
was
ashamed,
yes,
even
confounded,
because
I
did
bear
the
reproach
of
my
youth.
20
Is
Ephraim
my
dear
son?
is
he
a
darling
child?
for
as
often
as
I
speak
against
him,
I
do
earnestly
remember
him
still:
therefore
my
heart
yearns
for
him;
I
will
surely
have
mercy
on
him,
says
Yahweh.
21
Set
up
road
signs,
make
guideposts;
set
your
heart
toward
the
highway,
even
the
way
by
which
you
went:
turn
again,
virgin
of
Israel,
turn
again
to
these
your
cities.
22
How
long
will
you
go
here
and
there,
you
backsliding
daughter?
for
Yahweh
has
created
a
new
thing
in
the
earth:
a
woman
shall
encompass
a
man.
23
Thus
says
Yahweh
of
Hosts,
the
God
of
Israel,
Yet
again
shall
they
use
this
speech
in
the
land
of
Judah
and
in
the
cities
of
it,
when
I
shall
bring
again
their
captivity:
Yahweh
bless
you,
habitation
of
righteousness,
mountain
of
holiness.
24
Judah
and
all
the
cities
of
it
shall
dwell
therein
together,
the
farmers,
and
those
who
go
about
with
flocks.
25
For
I
have
satiated
the
weary
soul,
and
every
sorrowful
soul
have
I
replenished.
26
On
this
I
awakened,
and
saw;
and
my
sleep
was
sweet
to
me.
27
Behold,
the
days
come,
says
Yahweh,
that
I
will
sow
the
house
of
Israel
and
the
house
of
Judah
with
the
seed
of
man,
and
with
the
seed
of
animal.
28
It
shall
happen
that,
like
as
I
have
watched
over
them
to
pluck
up
and
to
break
down
and
to
overthrow
and
to
destroy
and
to
afflict,
so
will
I
watch
over
them
to
build
and
to
plant,
says
Yahweh.
29
In
those
days
they
shall
say
no
more,
The
fathers
have
eaten
sour
grapes,
and
the
children's
teeth
are
set
on
edge.
30
But
everyone
shall
die
for
his
own
iniquity:
every
man
who
eats
the
sour
grapes,
his
teeth
shall
be
set
on
edge.
31
Behold,
the
days
come,
says
Yahweh,
that
I
will
make
a
new
covenant
with
the
house
of
Israel,
and
with
the
house
of
Judah:
32
not
according
to
the
covenant
that
I
made
with
their
fathers
in
the
day
that
I
took
them
by
the
hand
to
bring
them
out
of
the
land
of
Egypt;
which
my
covenant
they
broke,
although
I
was
a
husband
to
them,
says
Yahweh.
33
But
this
is
the
covenant
that
I
will
make
with
the
house
of
Israel
after
those
days,
says
Yahweh:
I
will
put
my
law
in
their
inward
parts,
and
in
their
heart
will
I
write
it;
and
I
will
be
their
God,
and
they
shall
be
my
people:
34
and
they
shall
teach
no
more
every
man
his
neighbor,
and
every
man
his
brother,
saying,
Know
Yahweh;
for
they
shall
all
know
me,
from
the
least
of
them
to
the
greatest
of
them,
says
Yahweh:
for
I
will
forgive
their
iniquity,
and
their
sin
will
I
remember
no
more.
35
Thus
says
Yahweh,
who
gives
the
sun
for
a
light
by
day,
and
the
ordinances
of
the
moon
and
of
the
stars
for
a
light
by
night,
who
stirs
up
the
sea,
so
that
the
waves
of
it
roar;
Yahweh
of
hosts
is
his
name:
36
If
these
ordinances
depart
from
before
me,
says
Yahweh,
then
the
seed
of
Israel
also
shall
cease
from
being
a
nation
before
me
forever.
37
Thus
says
Yahweh:
If
heaven
above
can
be
measured,
and
the
foundations
of
the
earth

then
will
I
also
cast
off
all
the
seed
of
Israel
for
all
that
they
have
done,
says
Yahweh.
38
Behold,
the
days

says
Yahweh,
that
the
city
shall
be
built
to
Yahweh
from
the

of
the

and
all
the

to
the

to

the

gate
toward
the
east,
shall
be
holy
to
Yahweh;
it
shall
not
be
plucked
up,
nor
thrown
down
any
more
forever.
Ezekiel 20:43
43
There

of
us
all.

At
that
time,
saith
the
LORD,
will
I
be
the
God
of
all
the
families
of
Israel,
and
they
shall
be
my
people.
2
Thus
saith
the
LORD,
The
people
which
were
left
of
the
sword
found
grace
in
the
wilderness;
even
Israel,
when
I
went
to
cause
him
to
rest.
3
The
LORD
appeared
of
old
unto
me,
{cf15i
saying},
Yea,
I
have
loved
thee
with
an
everlasting
love:
therefore
with
lovingkindness
have
I
drawn
thee.
4
Again
will
I
build
thee,
and
thou
shalt
be
built,
O
virgin
of
Israel:
again
shalt
thou
be
adorned
with
thy
tabrets,
and
shalt
go
forth
in
the
dances
of
them
that
make
merry.
5
Again
shalt
thou
plant
vineyards
upon
the
mountains
of
Samaria:
the
planters
shall
plant,
and
shall
enjoy
{cf15i
the
fruit
thereof}.
6
For
there
shall
be
a
day,
that
the
watchmen
upon
the
hills
of
Ephraim
shall
cry,
Arise
ye,
and
let
us
go
up
to
Zion
unto
the
LORD
our
God.
7
For
thus
saith
the
LORD,
Sing
with
gladness
for
Jacob,
and
shout
for
the
chief
of
the
nations:
publish
ye,
praise
ye,
and
say,
O
LORD,
save
thy
people,
the
remnant
of
Israel.
8
Behold,
I
will
bring
them
from
the
north
country,
and
gather
them
from
the
uttermost
parts
of
the
earth,
{cf15i
and}
with
them
the
blind
and
the
lame,
the
woman
with
child
and
her
that
travaileth
with
child
together:
a
great
company
shall
they
return
hither.
9
They
shall
come
with
weeping,
and
with
supplications
will
I
lead
them:
I
will
cause
them
to
walk
by
rivers
of
waters,
in
a
straight
way
wherein
they
shall
not
stumble:
for
I
am
a
father
to
Israel,
and
Ephraim
is
my
firstborn.
10
Hear
the
word
of
the
LORD,
O
ye
nations,
and
declare
it
in
the
isles
afar
off;
and
say,
He
that
scattered
Israel
will
gather
him,
and
keep
him,
as
a
shepherd
doth
his
flock.
11
For
the
LORD
hath
ransomed
Jacob,
and
redeemed
him
from
the
hand
of
him
that
was
stronger
than
he.
12
And
they
shall
come
and
sing
in
the
height
of
Zion,
and
shall
flow
together
unto
the
goodness
of
the
LORD,
to
the
corn,
and
to
the
wine,
and
to
the
oil,
and
to
the
young
of
the
flock
and
of
the
herd:
and
their
soul
shall
be
as
a
watered
garden;
and
they
shall
not
sorrow
any
more
at
all.
13
Then
shall
the
virgin
rejoice
in
the
dance,
and
the
young
men
and
the
old
together:
for
I
will
turn
their
mourning
into
joy,
and
will
comfort
them,
and
make
them
rejoice
from
their
sorrow.
14
And
I
will
satiate
the
soul
of
the
priests
with
fatness,
and
my
people
shall
be
satisfied
with
my
goodness,
saith
the
LORD.
15
Thus
saith
the
LORD:
A
voice
is
heard
in
Ramah,
lamentation,
and
bitter
weeping,
Rachel
weeping
for
her
children;
she
refuseth
to
be
comforted
for
her
children,
because
they
are
not.
16
Thus
saith
the
LORD:
Refrain
thy
voice
from
weeping,
and
thine
eyes
from
tears:
for
thy
work
shall
be
rewarded,
saith
the
LORD;
and
they
shall
come
again
from
the
land
of
the
enemy.
17
And
there
is
hope
for
thy
latter
end,
saith
the
LORD;
and
{cf15i
thy}
children
shall
come
again
to
their
own
border.
18
I
have
surely
heard
Ephraim
bemoaning
himself
{cf15i
thus},
Thou
hast
chastised
me,
and
I
was
chastised,
as
a
calf
unaccustomed
{cf15i
to
the
yoke}:
turn
thou
me,
and
I
shall
be
turned;
for
thou
art
the
LORD
my
God.
19
Surely
after
that
I
was
turned,
I
repented;
and
after
that
I
was
instructed,
I
smote
upon
my
thigh:
I
was
ashamed,
yea,
even
confounded,
because
I
did
bear
the
reproach
of
my
youth.
20
Is
Ephraim
my
dear
son?
is
he
a
pleasant
child?
for
as
often
as
I
speak
against
him,
I
do
earnestly
remember
him
still:
therefore
my
bowels
are
troubled
for
him;
I
will
surely
have
mercy
upon
him,
saith
the
LORD.
21
Set
thee
up
waymarks,
make
thee
guide-posts:
set
thine
heart
toward
the
highway,
even
the
way
by
which
thou
wentest:
turn
again,
O
virgin
of
Israel,
turn
again
to
these
thy
cities.
22
How
long
wilt
thou
go
hither
and
thither,
O
thou
backsliding
daughter?
for
the
LORD
hath
created
a
new
thing
in
the
earth,
A
woman
shall
encompass
a
man.
23
Thus
saith
the
LORD
of
hosts,
the
God
of
Israel:
Yet
again
shall
they
use
this
speech
in
the
land
of
Judah
and
in
the
cities
thereof,
when
I
shall
bring
again
their
captivity:
The
LORD
bless
thee,
O
habitation
of
justice,
O
mountain
of
holiness.
24
And
Judah
and
all
the
cities
thereof
shall
dwell
therein
together;
the
husbandmen,
and
they
that
go
about
with
flocks.
25
For
I
have
satiated
the
weary
soul,
and
every
sorrowful
soul
have
I
replenished.
26
Upon
this
I
awaked,
and
beheld;
and
my
sleep
was
sweet
unto
me.
27
Behold,
the
days
come,
saith
the
LORD,
that
I
will
sow
the
house
of
Israel
and
the
house
of
Judah
with
the
seed
of
man,
and
with
the
seed
of
beast.
28
And
it
shall
come
to
pass,
that
like
as
I
have
watched
over
them
to
pluck
up
and
to
break
down,
and
to
overthrow
and
to
destroy,
and
to
afflict;
so
will
I
watch
over
them
to
build
and
to
plant,
saith
the
LORD.
29
In
those
days
they
shall
say
no
more,
The
fathers
have
eaten
sour
grapes,
and
the
children-s
teeth
are
set
on
edge.
30
But
every
one
shall
die
for
his
own
iniquity:
every
man
that
eateth
the
sour
grapes,
his
teeth
shall
be
set
on
edge.
31
Behold,
the
days
come,
saith
the
LORD,
that
I
will
make
a
new
covenant
with
the
house
of
Israel,
and
with
the
house
of
Judah:
32
not
according
to
the
covenant
that
I
made
with
their
fathers
in
the
day
that
I
took
them
by
the
hand
to
bring
them
out
of
the
land
of
Egypt;
which
my
covenant
they
brake,
although
I
was
an
husband
unto
them,
saith
the
LORD.
33
But
this
is
the
covenant
that
I
will
make
with
the
house
of
Israel
after
those
days,
saith
the
LORD;
I
will
put
my
law
in
their
inward
parts,
and
in
their
heart
will
I
write
it;
and
I
will
be
their
God,
and
they
shall
be
my
people:
34
and
they
shall
teach
no
more
every
man
his
neighbour,
and
every
man
his
brother,
saying,
Know
the
LORD:
for
they
shall
all
know
me,
from
the
least
of
them
unto
the
greatest
of
them,
saith
the
LORD:
for
I
will
forgive
their
iniquity,
and
their
sin
will
I
remember
no
more.
35
Thus
saith
the
LORD,
which
giveth
the
sun
for
a
light
by
day,
and
the
ordinances
of
the
moon
and
of
the
stars
for
a
light
by
night,
which
stirreth
up
the
sea,
that
the
waves
thereof
roar;
the
LORD
of
hosts
is
his
name:
36
If
these
ordinances
depart
from
before
me,
saith
the
LORD,
then
the
seed
of
Israel
also
shall
cease
from
being
a
nation
before
me
for
ever.
37
Thus
saith
the
LORD:
If
heaven
above
can
be
measured,
and
the
foundations
of
the
earth
searched
out
beneath,
then
will
I
also
cast
off
all
the
seed
of
Israel
for
all
that
they
have
done,
saith
the
LORD.
38
Behold,
the
days
come,
saith
the
LORD,
that
the
city
shall
be
built
to
the
LORD
from
the
tower
of
Hananel
unto
the
gate
of
the
corner.
39
And
the
measuring
line
shall
yet
go
out
straight
onward
unto
the
hill
Gareb,
and
shall
turn
about
unto
Goah.
40
And
the
whole
valley
of
the
dead
bodies,
and
of
the
ashes,
and
all
the
fields
unto
the
brook
Kidron,
unto
the
corner
of
the
horse
gate
toward
the
east,
shall
be
holy
unto
the
LORD;
it
shall
not
be
plucked
up,
nor
thrown
down
any
more
for
ever.
Ezekiel 20:43
43
And
there
shall
ye
remember
your
ways,
and
all
your
doings,
wherein
ye
have
polluted
yourselves;
and
ye
shall
loathe
yourselves
in
your
own
sight
for
all
your
evils
that
ye
have
committed.
Ezekiel 36:31
31
Then
shall
ye
remember
your
evil
ways,
and
your
doings
that
were
not
good;
and
ye
shall
loathe
yourselves
in
your
own
sight
for
your
iniquities
and
for
your
abominations.
Galatians 4:26
26
But
the
Jerusalem
that
is
above
is
free,
which
is
our
mother.

into
singing,

aloud,

And
there

in
Judah
itself,

farmers,

And
it
shall
come
to
pass,
that
like
as
I
have
watched
over

to

down,
and
to
throw
down,
and
to
destroy,
and
to

so
will
I
watch
over
them,
to
build,
and
to
plant,
said
the
LORD.
29
In
those
days
they
shall
say
no
more,
The
fathers
have
eaten
a
sour
grape,
and
the
children's
teeth
are
set
on
edge.
30
But
every
one
shall
die
for
his
own
iniquity:
every
man
that
eats
the
sour
grape,
his
teeth
shall
be
set
on
edge.
31
Behold,
the
days
come,
said
the
LORD,
that
I
will
make
a
new
covenant
with
the
house
of
Israel,
and
with
the
house
of
Judah:
32
Not
according
to
the
covenant
that
I
made
with
their
fathers
in
the
day
that
I
took
them
by
the
hand
to
bring
them
out
of
the
land
of
Egypt;
which
my
covenant
they
broke,
although
I
was
an
husband
to
them,
said
the
LORD:
33
But
this
shall
be
the
covenant
that
I
will
make
with
the
house
of
Israel;
After
those
days,
said
the
LORD,
I
will
put
my
law
in
their
inward
parts,
and
write
it
in
their
hearts;
and
will
be
their
God,
and
they
shall
be
my
people.
34
And
they
shall
teach
no
more
every
man
his
neighbor,
and
every
man
his
brother,
saying,
Know
the
LORD:
for
they
shall
all
know
me,
from
the
least
of
them
to
the
greatest
of
them,
said
the
LORD:
for
I
will
forgive
their
iniquity,
and
I
will
remember
their
sin
no
more.
35
Thus
said
the
LORD,
which
gives
the
sun
for
a
light
by
day,
and
the
ordinances
of
the
moon
and
of
the
stars
for
a
light
by
night,
which
divides
the
sea
when
the
waves
thereof
roar;
The
LORD
of
hosts
is
his
name:
36
If
those
ordinances
depart
from
before
me,
said
the
LORD,
then
the
seed
of
Israel
also
shall
cease
from
being
a
nation
before
me
for
ever.
37
Thus
said
the
LORD;
If
heaven
above
can
be
measured,
and
the
foundations
of
the
earth
searched
out
beneath,
I
will
also
cast
off
all
the
seed
of
Israel
for
all
that
they
have
done,
said
the
LORD.
38
Behold,
the
days
come,
said
the
LORD,
that
the
city
shall
be
built
to
the
LORD
from
the
tower
of
Hananeel
to
the
gate
of
the
corner.
39
And
the
measuring
line
shall
yet
go
forth
over
against
it
on
the
hill
Gareb,
and
shall
compass
about
to
Goath.
40
And
the
whole
valley
of
the
dead
bodies,
and
of
the
ashes,
and
all
the
fields
to
the
brook
of
Kidron,
to
the
corner
of
the
horse
gate
toward
the
east,
shall
be
holy
to
the
LORD;
it
shall
not
be
plucked
up,
nor
thrown
down
any
more
for
ever.
Ezekiel 20:43
43
And
there
shall
you
remember
your
ways,
and
all
your
doings,
wherein
you
have
been
defiled;
and
you
shall
loathe
yourselves
in
your
own
sight
for
all
your
evils
that
you
have
committed.
Ezekiel 36:31
31
Then
shall
you
remember
your
own
evil
ways,
and
your
doings
that
were
not
good,
and
shall
loathe
yourselves
in
your
own
sight
for
your
iniquities
and
for
your
abominations.
Galatians 4:26

But
Jerusalem
which
is
above
is
free,
which
is
the
mother
of
us
all.

nations.
Proclaim

Say,
"The

He

their

the
good

LORD
provides,
the
grain,
the
fresh

the
olive
oil,
the
young

he
has
given

They

The
LORD

Young

The
LORD
says,
"A
sound
is
heard
in
Ramah,
a
sound
of
crying
in
bitter
grief.
It
is
the
sound
of
Rachel
weeping
for
her
children
and
refusing
to
be
comforted,
because
her
children
are
gone."
16
The
LORD
says
to
her,
"Stop
crying!
Do
not
shed
any
more
tears!
For
your
heartfelt
repentance
will
be
rewarded.
Your
children
will
return
from
the
land
of
the
enemy.
I,
the
LORD,
affirm
it!
17
Indeed,
there
is
hope
for
your
posterity.
Your
children
will
return
to
their
own
territory.
I,
the
LORD,
affirm
it!
18
I
have
indeed
heard
the
people
of
Israel
say
mournfully,
'We
were
like
a
calf
untrained
to
the
yoke.
You
disciplined
us
and
we
learned
from
it.
Let
us
come
back
to
you
and
we
will
do
so,
for
you
are
the
LORD
our
God.
19
For
after
we
turned
away
from
you
we
repented.
After
we
came
to
our
senses
we
beat
our
breasts
in
sorrow.
We
are
ashamed
and
humiliated
because
of
the
disgraceful
things
we
did
previously.'
20
Indeed,
the
people
of
Israel
are
my
dear
children.
They
are
the
children
I
take
delight
in.
For
even
though
I
must
often
rebuke
them,
I
still
remember
them
with
fondness.
So
I
am
deeply
moved
with
pity
for
them
and
will
surely
have
compassion
on
them.
I,
the
LORD,
affirm
it!
21
I
will
say,
'My
dear
children
of
Israel,
keep
in
mind
the
road
you
took
when
you
were
carried
off.
Mark
off
in
your
minds
the
landmarks.
Make
a
mental
note
of
telltale
signs
marking
the
way
back.
Return,
my
dear
children
of
Israel.
Return
to
these
cities
of
yours.
22
How
long
will
you
vacillate,
you
who
were
once
like
an
unfaithful
daughter?
For
I,
the
LORD,
promise
to
bring
about
something
new
on
the
earth,
something
as
unique
as
a
woman
protecting
a
man!'"
23
The
LORD
God
of
Israel
who
rules
over
all
says,
"I
will
restore
the
people
of
Judah
to
their
land
and
to
their
towns.
When
I
do,
they
will
again
say
of
Jerusalem,
'May
the
LORD
bless
you,
you
holy
mountain,
the
place
where
righteousness
dwells.'
24
The
land
of
Judah
will
be
inhabited
by
people
who
live
in
its
towns
as
well
as
by
farmers
and
shepherds
with
their
flocks.
25
I
will
fully
satisfy
the
needs
of
those
who
are
weary
and
fully
refresh
the
souls
of
those
who
are
faint.
26
Then
they
will
say,
'Under
these
conditions
I
can
enjoy
sweet
sleep
when
I
wake
up
and
look
around.'"
27
"Indeed,
a
time
is
coming,"
says
the
LORD,
"when
I
will
cause
people
and
animals
to
sprout
up
in
the
lands
of
Israel
and
Judah.
28
In
the
past
I
saw
to
it
that
they
were
uprooted
and
torn
down,
that
they
were
destroyed
and
demolished.
But
now
I
will
see
to
it
that
they
are
built
up
and
firmly
planted.
I,
the
LORD,
affirm
it!"
29
"When
that
time
comes,
people
will
no
longer
say,
'The
parents
have
eaten
sour
grapes,
but
the
children's
teeth
have
grown
numb.'
30
Rather,
each
person
will
die
for
his
own
sins.
The
teeth
of
the
person
who
eats
the
sour
grapes
will
themselves
grow
numb.
31
"Indeed,
a
time
is
coming,"
says
the
LORD,
"when
I
will
make
a
new
covenant
with
the
people
of
Israel
and
Judah.
32
It
will
not
be
like
the
old
covenant
that
I
made
with
their
ancestors
when
I
delivered
them
from
Egypt.
For
they
violated
that
covenant,
even
though
I
was
like
a
faithful
husband
to
them,"
says
the
LORD.
33
"But
I
will
make
a
new
covenant
with
the
whole
nation
of
Israel
after
I
plant
them
back
in
the
land,"
says
the
LORD.
"I
will
put
my
law
within
them
and
write
it
on
their
hearts
and
minds.
I
will
be
their
God
and
they
will
be
my
people.
34
"People
will
no
longer
need
to
teach
their
neighbors
and
relatives
to
know
me.
For
all
of
them,
from
the
least
important
to
the
most
important,
will
know
me,"
says
the
LORD.
"For
I
will
forgive
their
sin
and
will
no
longer
call
to
mind
the
wrong
they
have
done."
35
The
LORD
has
made
a
promise
to
Israel.
He
promises
it
as
the
one
who
fixed
the
sun
to
give
light
by
day
and
the
moon
and
stars
to
give
light
by
night.
He
promises
it
as
the
one
who
stirs
up
the
sea
so
that
its
waves
roll.
He
promises
it
as
the
one
who
is
known
as
the
LORD
who
rules
over
all.
36
The
LORD
affirms,
"The
descendants
of
Israel
will
not
cease
forever
to
be
a
nation
in
my
sight.
That
could
only
happen
if
the
fixed
ordering
of
the
heavenly
lights
were
to
cease
to
operate
before
me."
37
The
LORD
says,
"I
will
not
reject
all
the
descendants
of
Israel
because
of
all
that
they
have
done.
That
could
only
happen
if
the
heavens
above
could
be
measured
or
the
foundations
of
the
earth
below
could
all
be
explored,"
says
the
LORD.
38
"Indeed
a
time
is
coming,"
says
the
LORD,
"when
the
city
of
Jerusalem
will
be
rebuilt
as
my
special
city.
It
will
be
built
from
the
Tower
of
Hananel
westward
to
the
Corner
Gate.
39
The
boundary
line
will
extend
beyond
that,
straight
west
from
there
to
the
Hill
of
Gareb
and
then
turn
southward
to
Goah.
40
The
whole
valley
where
dead
bodies
and
sacrificial
ashes
are
thrown
and
all
the
terraced
fields
out
to
the
Kidron
Valley
on
the
east
as
far
north
as
the
Horse
Gate
will
be
included
within
this
city
that
is
sacred
to
the
LORD.
The
city
will
never
again
be
torn
down
or
destroyed."
Ezekiel 20:43

And
there
you
will

your

all
your

by
which
you
defiled
yourselves.
You

Ezekiel 36:31

left
alive
from
the
nation
of
Israel.'
8
Remember,
I
will
bring
Israel
from
that
country
in
the
north.
I
will
gather
the
people
of
Israel
from
the
faraway
places
on
earth.
Some
of
the
people
will
be
blind
and
crippled.
Some
of
the
women
will
be
pregnant
and
ready
to
give
birth.
But
many
people
will
come
back.
9
They
will
come
back
crying,
but
I
will
lead
them
and
comfort
them.
I
will
lead
them
by
streams
of
water.
I
will
lead
them
on
an
easy
road
where
they
will
not
stumble.
I
will
lead
them
in
that
way
because
I
am
Israel's
father.
And
Ephraim
is
my
firstborn
son.
10
"Nations,
listen
to
this
message
from
the
Lord!
Tell
this
message
in
the
faraway
lands
by
the
sea:
'God
scattered
the
people
of
Israel,
but
he
will
bring
them
back
together.
And
he
will
watch
over
his
flock
like
a
shepherd.'
11
The
Lord
will
bring
Jacob
back.
He
will
save
his
people
from
those
who
are
stronger.
12
The
people
of
Israel
will
come
to
the
top
of
Zion,
and
they
will
shout
with
joy.
Their
faces
will
shine
with
happiness
about
the
good
things
the
Lord
gives
them.
He
will
give
them
grain,
new
wine,
olive
oil,
young
sheep,
and
cows.
They
will
be
like
a
garden
that
has
plenty
of
water.
And
the
people
of
Israel
will
not
be
troubled
anymore.
13
Then
the
young
women
of
Israel
will
be
happy
and
dance.
And
the
men,
young
and
old,
will
join
in
the
dancing.
I
will
change
their
sadness
into
happiness.
I
will
comfort
my
people,
making
them
happy
instead
of
sad.
14
I
will
give
the
priests
plenty
of
food.
And
my
people
will
be
filled
and
satisfied
with
the
good
things
I
give
them."
This
message
is
from
the
Lord.
15
This
is
what
the
Lord
says:
"A
sound
is
heard
in
Ramah—
bitter
crying
and
great
sadness.
Rachel
cries
for
her
children,
and
she
refuses
to
be
comforted,
because
her
children
are
gone."
16
But
the
Lord
says,
"Stop
crying.
Don't
fill
your
eyes
with
tears.
You
will
be
rewarded
for
your
work."
This
message
is
from
the
Lord.
"The
people
of
Israel
will
come
back
from
their
enemy's
land.
17
Israel,
there
is
hope
for
you."
This
message
is
from
the
Lord.
"Your
children
will
come
back
to
their
own
land.
18
I
have
heard
Ephraim
crying.
I
heard
Ephraim
say
this:
'Lord,
you
punished
me,
and
I
learned
my
lesson.
I
was
like
a
calf
that
was
never
trained.
Please
stop
punishing
me,
and
I
will
come
back
to
you.
You
really
are
the
Lord
my
God.
19
Lord,
I
wandered
away
from
you.
But
I
learned
about
the
bad
things
I
did.
So
I
changed
my
heart
and
life.
I
am
ashamed
and
embarrassed
about
the
foolish
things
I
did
when
I
was
young.'
20
The
Lord
says,
"You
know
that
Ephraim
is
my
dear
son.
I
love
that
child.
Yes,
I
often
criticized
Ephraim,
but
I
still
think
about
him.
I
love
him
very
much,
and
I
really
do
want
to
comfort
him."
This
message
is
from
the
Lord.
21
"People
of
Israel,
repair
the
road
signs.
Put
up
signs
that
show
the
way
home.
Watch
the
road.
Remember
the
road
you
are
leaving
on.
Israel,
my
bride,
come
home.
Come
back
to
your
towns.
22
Unfaithful
daughter,
how
long
will
you
wander
around?
"The
Lord
has
created
something
new
in
the
land:
A
woman
surrounding
a
man.
"
23
This
is
what
the
Lord
All-Powerful,
the
God
of
Israel,
says:
"I
will
again
do
good
things
for
the
people
of
Judah.
I
will
bring
back
those
who
were
taken
away
as
prisoners.
At
that
time
the
people
in
the
land
of
Judah
and
in
its
towns
will
once
again
use
these
words:
'May
the
Lord
bless
you,
good
home
and
holy
mountain!'
24
"People
in
all
the
towns
of
Judah
will
live
together
in
peace.
Farmers
and
those
who
move
around
with
their
flocks
will
live
peacefully
together
in
Judah.
25
I
will
give
rest
and
strength
to
those
who
are
weak
and
tired."
26
After
hearing
that,
I,
Jeremiah,
woke
up
and
looked
around.
My
sleep
was
very
pleasant.
27
"The
days
are
coming,"
says
the
Lord,
"when
I
will
help
the
family
of
Israel
and
Judah
to
grow.
I
will
help
their
children
and
animals
to
grow
too.
It
will
be
like
planting
and
caring
for
a
plant.
28
In
the
past
I
watched
over
Israel
and
Judah,
but
I
watched
for
the
time
to
pull
them
up.
I
tore
them
down.
I
destroyed
them.
I
gave
many
troubles
to
them.
But
now
I
will
watch
over
them
to
build
them
up
and
make
them
strong."
This
message
is
from
the
Lord.
29
"People
will
not
use
this
saying
anymore:
'The
parents
ate
the
sour
grapes,
but
the
children
got
the
sour
taste.'
30
No,
people
will
die
for
their
own
sins.
Those
who
eat
sour
grapes
will
get
the
sour
taste."
31
This
is
what
the
Lord
said,
"The
time
is
coming
when
I
will
make
a
new
agreement
with
the
family
of
Israel
and
with
the
family
of
Judah.
32
It
will
not
be
like
the
agreement
I
made
with
their
ancestors.
I
made
that
agreement
when
I
took
them
by
the
hand
and
brought
them
out
of
Egypt.
I
was
their
master,
but
they
broke
that
agreement."
This
message
is
from
the
Lord.
33
"In
the
future
I
will
make
this
agreement
with
the
people
of
Israel."
This
message
is
from
the
Lord.
"I
will
put
my
teachings
in
their
minds,
and
I
will
write
them
on
their
hearts.
I
will
be
their
God,
and
they
will
be
my
people.
34
People
will
not
have
to
teach
their
neighbors
and
relatives
to
know
the
Lord,
because
all
people,
from
the
least
important
to
the
most
important,
will
know
me."
This
message
is
from
the
Lord.
"I
will
forgive
them
for
the
evil
things
they
did.
I
will
not
remember
their
sins."
35
The
Lord
makes
the
sun
shine
in
the
day,
and
he
makes
the
moon
and
the
stars
shine
at
night.
He
stirs
up
the
sea
so
that
its
waves
crash
on
the
shore.
The
Lord
All-Powerful
is
his
name.
This
is
what
the
Lord
says:
36
"The
descendants
of
Israel
will
never
stop
being
a
nation.
That
would
happen
only
if
I
lost
control
of
the
sun,
moon,
stars,
and
sea."
37
The
Lord
says,
"I
will
never
reject
the
descendants
of
Israel.
That
would
happen
only
if
people
could
measure
the
sky
above,
and
learn
all
the
secrets
of
the
earth
below.
Only
then
would
I
reject
them
for
the
bad
things
they
have
done."
This
message
is
from
the
Lord.
38
This
message
is
from
the
Lord,
"The
days
are
coming
when
the
city
of
Jerusalem
will
be
rebuilt
for
the
Lord.
The
whole
city
will
be
rebuilt—from
the
Tower
of
Hananel
to
the
Corner
Gate.
39
The
measuring
line
will
stretch
from
the
Corner
Gate
straight
to
the
hill
of
Gareb
and
then
turn
to
the
place
named
Gorah.
40
The
whole
valley
where
dead
bodies
and
ashes
are
thrown
will
be
holy
to
the
Lord.
And
all
the
terraces
down
to
the
bottom
of
Kidron
Valley
all
the
way
to
the
corner
of
Horse
Gate
will
be
included.
All
that
area
will
be
holy
to
the
Lord.
The
city
of
Jerusalem
will
never
again
be
torn
down
or
destroyed."
Ezekiel 20:43
43
In
that
country
you
will
remember
all
the
evil
things
you
did
that
made
you
filthy,
and
you
will
be
ashamed.
Ezekiel 36:31
31
You
will
remember
the
bad
things
you
did.
You
will
remember
that
those
things
were
not
good.
Then
you
will
hate
yourselves
because
of
your
sins
and
the
terrible
things
you
did."
Galatians 4:26
26
But
the
heavenly
Jerusalem
that
is
above
is
like
the
free
woman,
who
is
our
mother.

Rejoice,

Lift

behold
thy

gathered:
all
thy

Thus
has
the
Lord
said
concerning
MOAB,
Woe
to
Nabau!
for
it
has
perished:
Cariathaim
is
taken:
Amath
and
Agath
are
put
to
shame.
2
There
is
no
longer
any
healing
for
Moab,
nor
glorying
in
Esebon:
he
has
devised
evils
against
her:
we
have
cut
her
off
from
being
a
nation,
and
she
shall
be
completely
still:
after
thee
shall
go
a
sword;
3
for
there
is
a
voice
of
men
crying
out
of
Oronaim,
destruction
and
great
ruin.
4
Moab
is
ruined,
proclaim
it
to
Zogora:
5
for
Aloth
is
filled
with
weeping:
one
shall
go
up
weeping
by
the
way
of
Oronaim;
ye
have
heard
a
cry
of
destruction.
6
Flee
ye,
and
save
your
lives,
and
ye
shall
be
as
a
wild
ass
in
the
desert.
7
Since
thou
hast
trusted
in
thy
strong-hold,
therefore
thou
shalt
be
taken:
and
Chamos
shall
go
forth
into
captivity,
and
his
priests,
and
his
princes
together.
8
And
destruction
shall
come
upon
every
city,
it
shall
by
no
means
escape;
the
valley
also
shall
perish,
and
the
plain
country
shall
be
completely
destroyed,
as
the
Lord
has
said.
9
Set
marks
upon
Moab,
for
she
shall
be
Or,
kindled;

with
carbuncle
touched
with

and
all
her
cities
shall
become
desolate;
whence
shall
there
be
an

for
her?
10
Cursed
is
the
man
that
does
the
works
of
the
Lord
carelessly,
keeping
back
his
sword
from
blood.
11
Moab
has
been
at
ease
from
a
child,
and
trusted
in
his
glory;
he
has
not
poured
out
his
liquor
from
vessel
to
vessel,
and
has
not
gone
into
banishment,
therefore
his
taste
remained
in
him,
and
his
smell
departed
not.
12
Therefore,
behold,
his
days
come,
saith
the
Lord,
when
I
shall
send
upon
him
bad
leaders,
and
they
shall
lead
him
astray,
and
they
shall
utterly
break
in
pieces
his
possessions,
and
shall
cut
his
horns
asunder.
13
And
Moab
shall
be
ashamed
of
Chamos,
as
the
house
of
Israel
was
ashamed
of
Baethel
their
hope,
having
trusted
in
them.
14
How
will
ye
say,
We
are
strong,
and
men
strong
for
war?
15
Moab
is
ruined,
even
his
city,
and
his
choice
young
men
have
gone
down
to
slaughter.
16
The
day
of
Moab
is
near
at
hand,
and
his
iniquity
moves
swiftly
to
vengeance.
17
Shake
the
head
at
him,
all
ye
that
are
round
about
him;
all
of
you
utter
his
name;
say
ye,
How
is
the
glorious
staff
broken
to
pieces,
the
rod
of
magnificence!
18
Come
down
from
thy
glory,
and
sit
down
in
a
damp
place:
Daebon
shall
be
broken,
because
Moab
is
destroyed:
there
has
gone
up
against
thee
one
to
ravage
thy
strong-hold.
19
Stand
by
the
way,
and
look,
thou
that
dwellest
in
Arer;
and
ask
him
that
is
fleeing,
and
him
that
escapes,
and
say,
What
has
happened?
20
Moab
is
put
to
shame,
because
he
is
broken:
howl
and
cry;
proclaim
in
Arnon,
that
Moab
has
perished.
21
And
judgement
is
coming
against
the
land
of
Misor,
upon
Chelon,
and
Rephas,
and
Mophas,
22
and
upon
Daebon,
and
upon
Nabau,
and
upon
the
house
of
Daethlathaim,
23
and
upon
Cariathaim,
and
upon
the
house
of
Gaemol,
and
upon
the
house
of
Maon,
24
and
upon
Carioth,
and
upon
Bosor,
and
upon
all
the
cities
of
Moab,
far
and
near.
25
The
horn
of
Moab
is
broken,
and
his
arm
is
crushed.
26
Make
ye
him
drunk;
for
he
has
magnified
himself
against
the
Lord:
and
Moab
shall
clap
with
his
hand,
and
shall
be
also
himself
a
laughing-stock.
27
For
surely
Israel
was
to
thee
a
laughing-stock,
and
was
found
among
thy
thefts,
because
thou
didst
fight
against
him.
28
The
inhabitants
of
Moab
have
left
the
cities,
and
dwelt
in
rocks;
they
have
become
as
doves
nestling
in
rocks,
at
the
mouth
of
a
cave.
29
And
I
have
heard
of
the
pride
of
Moab,
he
has
greatly
heightened
his
pride
and
his
haughtiness,
and
his
heart
has
been
lifted
up.
30
But
I
know
his
works:
is
it
not
enough
for
him?
has
he
not
done
thus?
31
Therefore
howl
ye
for
Moab
on
all
sides;
cry
out
against
the
shorn
men
in
a
gloomy
place.
I
will
weep
for
thee,
32
O
vine
of
Aserema,
as
with
the
weeping
of
Jazer:
thy
branches
are
gone
Gr.
through
over
the
sea,
they
reached
the
cities
of
Jazer:
destruction
has
come
upon
thy
Or,

fruits,
and
upon
thy
grape-gatherers.
33
Joy
and
gladness
have
been
utterly
swept
off
the
land
of
Moab:
and
though
there
was
wine
in
thy
presses,
in
the
morning
they
trod
it
not,
neither
in
the
evening
did
they
raise
the
cry
of
joy.
34
From
the
cry
of
Esebon
even
to
Alex.
Eleale
Ætam
their
cities
uttered
their
voice,
from
Zogor
to
Oronaim,
and
their
tidings
as
a
heifer
of
three
years
old,
for
the
water
also
of
Nebrin
shall
be
Gr.
be
for
parching,
or,
burning
dried
up.
35
And
I
will
destroy
Moab,
saith
the
Lord,
as
he
comes
up
to
the
altar,
and
burns
incense
to
his
gods.
36
Therefore
the
heart
of
Moab
shall
sound
as
pipes,
my
heart
shall
sound
as
a
pipe
for
the
shorn
men;
forasmuch
as
what
every
man
has
gained
has
perished
from
him.
37
They
shall
all
have
their
heads
shaved
in
every
place,
and
every
beard
shall
be
shaved;
and
all
hands
shall
Or,
be
cut
beat
the
breasts,
and
on
all
loins
shall
be
sackcloth.
38
And
on
all
the
housetops
of
Moab,
and
in
his
streets
shall
be
mourning:
for
I
have
broken
him,
saith
the
Lord,
as
a
vessel,
which
is
useless.
39
How
has
he
See

changed!
how
has
Moab
turned
his
back!
Moab
is
put
to
shame,
and
become
a
laughing-stock,
and
an
object
of
anger
to
all
that
are
round
about

him.
40
For
thus
said
the
Lord;
41
Carioth
is
taken,
and
the
strong-holds
have
been
taken
together.
42
And
Moab
shall
perish
from
being

sorrow.
I
was
ashamed

20
Is
Ephraim
My

son?
Is
he
the

Yes,
as
many
times
as

him,
I
still
remember
him.
So
My
heart
has
a
desire
for
him.
For
sure
I
will
have
loving-pity
on
him,"
says
the
Lord.
21
"Set
up
marks
on
the
road
for
yourself.
Set
up
marks
to
lead
you
the
right
way.
Remember
the
way
you
went,
and
return,
O
pure
Israel.
Return
to
your
cities.
22
How
long
will
you
go
here
and
there,
O
daughter
without
faith?
For
the
Lord
has
made
a
new
thing
on
the
earth:
A
woman
will
keep
a
man
safe."
23
The
Lord
of
All,
the
God
of
Israel,
says,
"When
I
bring
them
back
to
their
own
land,
once
again
the
people
in
the
land
of
Judah
and
in
its
cities
will
speak
these
words:
'May
the
Lord
bring
good
to
you,
O
place
that
is
right
with
God,
O
holy
hill!'
24
The
people
of
Judah
and
all
its
cities
will
live
there
together,
the
farmer
and
they
who
go
about
with
flocks.
25
For
I
will
help
the
tired
ones
and
give
strength
to
everyone
who
is
weak."
26
At
this
I
woke
up
and
looked,
and
my
sleep
was
pleasing
to
me.
27
"See,
the
days
are
coming,"
says
the
Lord,
"when
I
will
plant
the
people
of
Israel
and
the
people
of
Judah
with
the
seed
of
man
and
the
seed
of
animal.
28
And
as
I
have
watched
over
them
to
pull
up,
to
break
down,
to
take
power
away,
to
destroy,
and
to
bring
trouble,
so
I
will
watch
over
them
to
build
and
to
plant,"
says
the
Lord.
29
"In
those
days
they
will
no
longer
say,
'The
fathers
have
eaten
sour
grapes,
and
the
children
got
the
sour
taste.'
30
But
every
one
will
die
for
his
own
sin.
Each
man
who
eats
the
sour
grapes
will
get
the
sour
taste.
31
The
days
are
coming,"
says
the
Lord,
"when
I
will
make
a
New
Way
of
Worship
for
the
Jews
and
those
of
the
family
group
of
Judah.
32
The
New
Way
of
Worship
will
not
be
like
the
Old
Way
of
Worship
I
gave
to
their
early
fathers.
That
was
when
I
took
them
by
the
hand
and
led
them
out
of
Egypt.
But
they
did
not
follow
the
Old
Way
of
Worship,
even
when
I
was
a
husband
to
them,"
says
the
Lord.
33
"This
is
the
New
Way
of
Worship
that
I
will
give
to
the
Jews.
When
that
day
comes,"
says
the
Lord,
"I
will
put
My
Law
into
their
minds.
And
I
will
write
it
on
their
hearts.
I
will
be
their
God,
and
they
will
be
My
people.
34
No
one
will
need
to
teach
his
neighbor
or
his
brother
to
know
the
Lord.
All
of
them
will
already
know
Me
from
the
least
to
the
greatest,"
says
the
Lord.
"I
will
forgive
their
sins.
I
will
remember
their
sins
no
more."
35
The
Lord,
the
Lord
of
All
is
His
name,
Who
gives
the
sun
for
light
during
the
day,
and
put
the
moon
and
the
stars
in
place
to
give
light
during
the
night,
Who
causes
the
waves
of
the
sea
to
make
a
loud
noise,
says,
36
"If
these
laws
change
before
Me,
then
the
children
of
Israel
will
stop
being
a
nation
before
Me
forever."
37
The
Lord
says,
"If
one
can
find
out
how
wide
the
heavens
are,
and
look
through
the
deepest
places
of
the
earth,
then
I
will
send
all
the
children
of
Israel
away
from
Me
for
all
that
they
have
done,"
says
the
Lord.
38
"See,
the
days
are
coming,"
says
the
Lord,
"when
the
city
will
be
built
again
for
the
Lord
from
the
tower
of
Hananel
to
the
Corner
Gate.
39
And
its

farther,

Then
it

The

and
all
the

the

Kidron,
to
the
corner
of
the
Horse
Gate
toward
the
east,
will
be
holy
to
the
Lord.
It
will
never
again
be
pulled
up
by
the
roots
or
destroyed."
Ezekiel 20:43
43
There
you
will
remember
your

all
the
bad

you

And
you

the
sinful

Ezekiel 36:31

your
sinful

your
sinful
works,
and
you
will
hate
yourselves
because
of
your
sins

wrongdoing.

and
I
want
to
comfort
him,"
says
the
Lord.
21
"People
of
Israel,
fix
the
road
signs.
Put
up
signs
to
show
you
the
way
home.
Watch
the
road.
Pay
attention
to
the
road
on
which
you
travel.
People
of
Israel,
come
home,
come
back
to
your
towns.
22
You
are
an
unfaithful
daughter.
How
long
will
you
wander
before
you
come
home?
in
the
land:
A
woman
will
go
seeking
a
man."
23
The
Lord
All-Powerful,
the
God
of
Israel,
says:
"I
will
again
do
good
things
for
the
people
of
Judah.
At
that
time
the
people
in
the
land
of
Judah
and
its
towns
will
again
use
these
words:
'May
the
Lord
bless
you,
home
of
what
is
good,
holy
mountain.'
24
People
in
all
the
towns
of
Judah
will
live
together
in
peace.
Farmers
and
those
who
move
around
with
their
flocks
will
live
together
in
peace.
25
I
will
give
rest
and
strength
to
those
who
are
weak
and
tired."
26
After
hearing
that,
I,
Jeremiah,
woke
up
and
looked
around.
My
sleep
had
been
very
pleasant.
27
The
Lord
says,
"The
time
is
coming
when
I
will
help
the
families
of
Israel
and
Judah
and
their
children
and
animals
to
grow.
28
In
the
past
I
watched
over
Israel
and
Judah,
to
pull
them
up
and
tear
them
down,
to
destroy
them
and
bring
them
disaster.
But
now
I
will
watch
over
them
to
build
them
up
and
make
them
strong,"
says
the
Lord.
29
"At
that
time
people
will
no
longer
say:
'The
parents
have
eaten
sour
grapes,
and
that
caused
the
children
to
grind
their
teeth
from
the
sour
taste.'
30
Instead,
each
person
will
die
for
his
own
sin;
the
person
who
eats
sour
grapes
will
grind
his
own
teeth.
31
"Look,
the
time
is
coming,"
says
the
Lord,
"when
I
will
make
a
new
agreement
with
the
people
of
Israel
and
the
people
of
Judah.
32
It
will
not
be
like
the
agreement
I
made
with
their
ancestors
when
I
took
them
by
the
hand
to
bring
them
out
of
Egypt.
I
was
a
husband
to
them,
but
they
broke
that
agreement,"
says
the
Lord.
33
"This
is
the
agreement
I
will
make
with
the
people
of
Israel
at
that
time,"
says
the
Lord:
"I
will
put
my
teachings
in
their
minds
and
write
them
on
their
hearts.
I
will
be
their
God,
and
they
will
be
my
people.
34
People
will
no
longer
have
to
teach
their
neighbors
and
relatives
to
know
the
Lord,
because
all
people
will
know
me,
from
the
least
to
the
most
important,"
says
the
Lord.
"I
will
forgive
them
for
the
wicked
things
they
did,
and
I
will
not
remember
their
sins
anymore."
35
The
Lord
makes
the
sun
shine
in
the
day
and
the
moon
and
stars
to
shine
at
night.
He
stirs
up
the
sea
so
that
its
waves
crash
on
the
shore.
The
Lord
All-Powerful
is
his
name.
36
"Only
if
these
laws
should
ever
fail,"
says
the
Lord,
"will
Israel's
descendants
ever
stop
being
a
nation
before
me."
37
This
is
what
the
Lord
says:
"Only
if
people
can
measure
the
sky
above
and
learn
the
secrets
of
the
earth
below,
will
I
reject
all
the
descendants
of
Israel
because
of
what
they
have
done,"
says
the
Lord.
38
The
Lord
says,
"The
time
is
coming
when
Jerusalem
will
be
rebuilt
for
me
--
everything
from
the
Tower
of
Hananel
to
the
Corner
Gate.
39
The
measuring
line
will
stretch
from
the
Corner
Gate
straight
to
the
hill
of
Gareb.
Then
it
will
turn
to
the
place
named
Goah.
40
The
whole
valley
where
dead
bodies
and
ashes
are
thrown,
and
all
the
terraces
out
to
the
Kidron
Valley
on
the
east
as
far
as
the
corner
of
the
Horse
Gate
--
all
that
area
will
be
holy
to
the
Lord.
The
city
of
Jerusalem
will
never
again
be
torn
down
or
destroyed."
Ezekiel 20:43
43
There
you
will
remember
everything
you
did
that
made
you
unclean,
and
then
you
will
hate
yourselves
for
all
the
evil
things
you
have
done.
Ezekiel 36:31
31
Then
you
will
remember
your
evil
ways
and
actions
that
were
not
good,
and
you
will
hate
yourselves
because
of
your
sins
and
your
terrible
acts
that
I
hate.
Galatians 4:26
26
But
the
heavenly
Jerusalem,
which
is
above,
is
like
the
free
woman.
She
is
our
mother.

For

they

all
assembling;
they

Your

At
that

says
Jehovah,
I
will
be
the
God
of

My

2
So
says
Jehovah,
Israel,
the
people,
the
survivors
of
the
sword,
have
found
grace
in
the
wilderness,
I
will
go
to
give
rest
to
him.

Jehovah
has
appeared
to
me
from
far
away,
saying,
Yes,
I
have
loved
you
with
an
everlasting
love!
On
account
of
this,
with
loving
kindness
I
have
drawn
you.
4
Again
I
will
build
you,
and
you
shall
be
built
again,
O
virgin
of
Israel.
You
will
again
put
on
your
tambourines
and
go
forth
in
the
dance
of
those
making
merry.
5
You
shall
yet
plant
vineyards
on
the
mountains
of
Samaria,
the
planters
shall
plant
and
shall
treat
them
as
common.
6
For
there
shall
be
a
day
when
the
watchmen
on
Ephraim's
hills
shall
call
out,
Arise
and
let
us
go
up
to
Zion,
to
Jehovah
our
God.
7
For
so
says
Jehovah,
Sing
with
gladness
for
Jacob,
and
shout
among
the
head
of
the
nations.
Cry
out,
give
praise
and
say,
O
Jehovah,
save
Your
people,
the
remnant
of
Israel.
8
Behold!
I
will
bring
them
from
the
north
country,
and
gather
them
from
the
recesses
of
the
earth.
Among
them
the
blind,
and
the
lame,
the
pregnant
one,
and
the
travailing
one
together,
a
great
company
shall
return
here.
9
They
shall
come
with
weeping,
and
I
will
lead
them
with
prayers.
I
will
cause
them
to
walk
by
rivers
of
waters,
in
a
right
way;
they
will
not
stumble
in
it.
For
I
am
a
father
to
Israel,
and
Ephraim
is
My
first-born.
10
Hear
the
Word
of
Jehovah,
O
nations,
and
declare
in
the
coastlands
far
away,
and
say,
He
who
scattered
Israel
will
gather
him
and
keep
him,
as
a
shepherd
his
flock.
11
For
Jehovah
has
redeemed
Jacob,
and
ransomed
him
from
the
hand
of
the
one
stronger
than
him.
12
And
they
shall
come
and
sing
in
the
height
of
Zion,
and
be
radiant
over
the
goodness
of
Jehovah,
for
grain,
and
for
wine,
and
for
oil,
and
for
the
sons
of
the
flock
and
the
herd.
And
their
life
shall
be
as
a
watered
garden;
and
they
shall
not
pine
away
any
more
at
all.
13
Then
the
virgin
shall
rejoice
in
the
dance,
both
young
men
and
elders
together.
For
I
will
turn
their
mourning
into
joy,
and
will
comfort
them
and
make
them
rejoice
from
their
sorrow.
14
And
I
will
fill
the
soul
of
the
priests
with
fatness,
and
My
people
shall
be
satisfied
with
My
goodness,
says
Jehovah.
15
So
says
Jehovah,
A
voice
was
heard
in
Ramah,
wailing,
bitter
weeping:
Rachel
weeping
for
her
sons;
she
refuses
to
be
comforted
for
her
sons
for
they
are
not.
16
So
says
Jehovah,
Hold
back
your
voice
from
weeping,
and
your
eyes
from
tears.
For
there
will
be
a
reward
for
your
work,
says
Jehovah,
and
they
shall
come
again
from
the
land
of
the
enemy.
17
And
there
is
hope
for
your
end,
says
Jehovah,
that
your
sons
will
come
again
to
their
own
territory.
18
Hearing
I
have
heard
Ephraim
moaning
over
himself,
saying,
You
have
chastised
me,
and
I
was
chastised,
as
a
bull
not
broken
in.
Turn
me,
and
I
shall
be
turned;
for
You
are
Jehovah
my
God.
19
For
after
I
had
turned
away,
I
repented;
and
after
I
knew,
I
slapped
on
my
thigh.
I
was
ashamed;
yea,
I
even
blushed,
because
I
bore
the
reproach
of
my
youth.
20
Is
Ephraim
My
dear
son?
Or
is
he
a
delightful
child?
For
as
often
as
I
spoke
against
him,
I
earnestly
remember
him
still.
So
My
heart
is
stirred
for
him;
pitying
I
will
have
pity
on
him,
declares
Jehovah.
21
Set
up
road
marks
for
yourself;
make
sign
posts
for
yourself.
Set
your
heart
toward
the
highway,
even
the
way
you
went.
Turn
again,
O
virgin
of
Israel;
turn
again
to
these
cities
of
yours.
22
Until
when
will
you
turn
to
and
fro,
O
faithless
daughter?
For
Jehovah
has
created
a
new
thing
in
the
land:
a
woman
shall
enclose
a
man.
23
So
says
Jehovah
of
Hosts,
the
God
of
Israel:
Again
they
will
speak
this
Word
in
the
land
of
Judah,
and
in
its
cities,
when
I
turn
again
their
captivity,
saying,
Jehovah
bless
you,
O
home
of
righteousness,
O
holy
mountain!
24
And
Judah
and
all
its
cities
shall
live
in
it
together,
the
tenant-farmers
and
those
who
travel
with
flocks.
25
For
I
satisfy
the
weary
soul,
and
I
have
filled
every
sorrowful
soul.
26
On
this
I
awoke
and
looked
up,
and
my
sleep
was
sweet
to
me.
27
Behold,
the
days
come,
says
Jehovah,
even
I
will
sow
the
house
of
Israel
and
the
house
of
Judah
with
the
seed
of
man,
and
the
seed
of
animal.
28
And
it
shall
be,
as
I
have
watched
over
them
to
pluck
up,
and
to
break
down,
and
to
throw
down,
and
to
destroy,
and
to
bring
calamity;
so
I
will
watch
over
them
to
build
and
to
plant,
says
Jehovah.
29
In
those
days
they
shall
not
any
more
say,
The
fathers
have
eaten
sour
grapes,
and
the
teeth
of
the
sons
are
dull.
30
But
every
man
will
die
in
his
iniquity.
Every
man
who
eats
the
sour
grapes,
his
teeth
will
be
dull.
31
Behold,
the
days
come,
says
Jehovah,
that
I
will
cut
a
new
covenant
with
the
house
of
Israel
and
with
the
house
of
Judah,
32
not
according
to
the
covenant
that
I
cut
with
their
fathers
in
the
day
I
took
them
by
the
hand
to
bring
them
out
of
the
land
of
Egypt
(which
covenant
of
Mine
they
broke,
although
I
was
a
husband
to
them,
says
Jehovah).
33
But
this
shall
be
the
covenant
that
I
will
cut
with
the
house
of
Israel:
After
those
days,
declares
Jehovah,
I
will
put
My
Law
in
their
inward
parts,
and
I
will
write
it
on
their
hearts;
and
I
will
be
their
God,
and
they
shall
be
My
people.
34
And
they
shall
no
longer
each
man
teach
his
neighbor,
and
each
man
his
brother,
saying,
Know
Jehovah.
For
they
shall
all
know
Me,
from
the
least
of
them
even
to
the
greatest
of
them,
declares
Jehovah.
For
I
will
forgive
their
iniquity,
and
I
will
remember
their
sins
no
more.
35
So
says
Jehovah,
who
gives
the
sun
for
a
light
by
day,
the
laws
of
the
moon,
and
the
stars
for
a
light
by
night,
who
stirs
up
the
sea
so
that
its
waves
roar,
Jehovah
of
Hosts
is
His
name.
36
If
these
ordinances
depart
from
before
Me,
says
Jehovah,
the
seed
of
Israel
also
shall
cease
from
being
a
nation
before
Me
forever.
37
So
says
Jehovah,
If
the
heavens
above
can
be
measured,
and
the
foundations
of
the
earth
below
can
be
searched
out,
I
will
also
reject
all
the
seed
of
Israel
for
all
that
they
have
done,
declares
Jehovah.
38
Behold,
the
days
come,
says
Jehovah,
that
the
city
will
be
built
to
Jehovah,
from
the
Tower
of
Hananeel
to
the
Corner
Gate.
39
And
the
measuring
line
shall
yet
go
before
it
to
the
hill
Gareb,
and
shall
go
around
to
Goath.
40
And
the
whole
valley
of
the
dead
bodies
and
the
ashes
and
all
the
fields
to
the
torrent
Kidron,
to
the
corner
of
the
Horse
Gate
east,
shall
be
holy
to
Jehovah.
It
shall
not
be
torn
up,
nor
thrown
down
any
more,
forever.
Ezekiel 20:43
43
And
you
shall
remember
there
your
ways
and
all
your
evils
by
which
you
have
been
defiled
in
them.
And
you
will
hate
yourselves
to
your
faces
for
all
your
evils
which
you
have
done.
Ezekiel 36:31
31
And
you
will
remember
your
evil
ways
and
your
doings
that
were
not
good,
and
you
will
despise
yourselves
in
your
own
eyes
for
your
iniquities
and
for
your
abominations.

says:
Sing
with
joy
for
Jacob;
shout
for
the
chief
of
the
nations!
Proclaim,
praise,
and
say:
LORD,
save
Your
people,
the
remnant
of
Israel!
8
Watch!
I
am
going
to
bring
them
from
the
northern
land.
I
will
gather
them
from
remote
regions
of
the
earth--
the
blind
and
the
lame
will
be
with
them,
along
with
those
who
are
pregnant
and
those
about
to
give
birth.
They
will
return
here
as
a
great
assembly!
9
They
will
come
weeping,
but
I
will
bring
them
back
with
consolation.
I
will
lead
them
to
wadis
filled
with
water
by
a
smooth
way
where
they
will
not
stumble,
for
I
am
Israel's
Father,
and
Ephraim
is
My
firstborn.
10
Nations,
hear
the
word
of
the
LORD,
and
tell
it
among
the
far
off
coastlands!
Say:
The
One
who
scattered
Israel
will
gather
him.
He
will
watch
over
him
as
a
shepherd
guards
his
flock,
11
for
the
LORD
has
ransomed
Jacob
and
redeemed
him
from
the
power
of
one
stronger
than
he.
12
They
will
come
and
shout
for
joy
on
the
heights
of
Zion;
they
will
be
radiant
with
joy
because
of
the
LORD's
goodness,
because
of
the
grain,
the
new
wine,
the
fresh
oil,
and
because
of
the
young
of
the
flocks
and
herds.
Their
life
will
be
like
an
irrigated
garden,
and
they
will
no
longer
grow
weak
from
hunger.
13
Then
the
virgin
will
rejoice
with
dancing,
while
young
and
old
men
rejoice
together.
I
will
turn
their
mourning
into
joy,
give
them
consolation,
and
bring
happiness
out
of
grief.
14
I
will
give
the
priests
their
fill
with
abundance,
and
My
people
will
be
satisfied
with
My
goodness.
This
is
the
LORD's
declaration.
15
This
is
what
the
LORD
says:
A
voice
was
heard
in
Ramah,
a
lament
with
bitter
weeping--
Rachel
weeping
for
her
children,
refusing
to
be
comforted
for
her
children
because
they
are
no
more.
16
This
is
what
the
LORD
says:
Keep
your
voice
from
weeping
and
your
eyes
from
tears,
for
the
reward
for
your
work
will
come--
this
is
the
LORD's
declaration--
and
your
children
will
return
from
the
enemy's
land.
17
There
is
hope
for
your
future--
this
is
the
LORD's
declaration--
and
your
children
will
return
to
their
own
territory.
18
I
have
heard
Ephraim
moaning:
You
disciplined
me,
and
I
have
been
disciplined
like
an
untrained
calf.
Restore
me,
and
I
will
return,
for
you,
LORD,
are
my
God.
19
After
I
returned,
I
repented;
After
I
was
instructed,
I
struck
my
thigh
in
grief.
I
was
ashamed
and
humiliated
because
I
bore
the
disgrace
of
my
youth.
20
Isn't
Ephraim
a
precious
son
to
Me,
a
delightful
child?
Whenever
I
speak
against
him,
I
certainly
still
think
about
him.
Therefore,
My
inner
being
yearns
for
him;
I
will
truly
have
compassion
on
him.
This
is
the
LORD's
declaration.
21
Set
up
road
markers
for
yourself;
establish
signposts!
Keep
the
highway
in
mind,
the
way
you
have
traveled.
Return,
Virgin
Israel!
Return
to
these
cities
of
yours.
22
How
long
will
you
turn
here
and
there,
faithless
daughter?
For
the
LORD
creates
something
new
in
the
land--
a
female
will
shelter
a
man.
23
This
is
what
the
LORD
of
Hosts,
the
God
of
Israel,
says:
"When
I
restore
their
fortunes,
they
will
once
again
speak
this
word
in
the
land
of
Judah
and
in
its
cities:
May
the
LORD
bless
you,
righteous
settlement,
holy
mountain.
24
Judah
and
all
its
cities
will
live
in
it
together--
also
farmers
and
those
who
move
with
the
flocks--
25
for
I
satisfy
the
thirsty
person
and
feed
all
those
who
are
weak."
26
At
this
I
awoke
and
looked
around.
My
sleep
had
been
most
pleasant
to
me.
27
"The
days
are
coming"--
this
is
the
LORD's
declaration--
"when
I
will
sow
the
house
of
Israel
and
the
house
of
Judah
with
the
seed
of
man
and
the
seed
of
beast.
28
Just
as
I
watched
over
them
to
uproot
and
to
tear
them
down,
to
demolish
and
to
destroy,
and
to
cause
disaster,
so
will
I
be
attentive
to
build
and
to
plant
them,"
says
the
LORD.
29
"In
those
days,
it
will
never
again
be
said:
The
fathers
have
eaten
sour
grapes,
and
the
children's
teeth
are
set
on
edge.
30
Rather,
each
will
die
for
his
own
wrongdoing.
Anyone
who
eats
sour
grapes--
his
own
teeth
will
be
set
on
edge.
31
"Look,
the
days
are
coming"--
this
is
the
LORD's
declaration--
"when
I
will
make
a
new
covenant
with
the
house
of
Israel
and
with
the
house
of
Judah.
32
This
one
will
not
be
like
the
covenant
I
made
with
their
ancestors
when
I
took
them
by
the
hand
to
bring
them
out
of
the
land
of
Egypt--
a
covenant
they
broke
even
though
I
had
married
them"--
the
LORD's
declaration.
33
"Instead,
this
is
the
covenant
I
will
make
with
the
house
of
Israel
after
those
days"--
the
LORD's
declaration.
"I
will
place
My
law
within
them
and
write
it
on
their
hearts.
I
will
be
their
God,
and
they
will
be
My
people.
34
No
longer
will
one
teach
his
neighbor
or
his
brother,
saying:
Know
the
LORD,
for
they
will
all
know
Me,
from
the
least
to
the
greatest
of
them"--
the
LORD's
declaration.
"For
I
will
forgive
their
wrongdoing
and
never
again
remember
their
sin."
35
This
is
what
the
LORD
says:
The
One
who
gives
the
sun
for
light
by
day,
the
fixed
order
of
moon
and
stars
for
light
by
night,
who
stirs
up
the
sea
and
makes
its
waves
roar--
the
LORD
of
Hosts
is
His
name:
36
If
this
fixed
order
departs
from
My
presence--
this
is
the
LORD's
declaration--
then
also
Israel's
descendants
will
cease
to
be
a
nation
before
Me
forever.
37
This
is
what
the
LORD
says:
If
the
heavens
above
can
be
measured
and
the
foundations
of
the
earth
below
explored,
I
will
reject
all
of
Israel's
descendants
because
of
all
they
have
done--
this
is
the
LORD's
declaration.
38
"Look,
the
days
are
coming"--
the
LORD's
declaration--
"when
the
city
from
the
Tower
of
Hananel
to
the
Corner
Gate
will
be
rebuilt
for
the
LORD.
39
A
measuring
line
will
once
again
stretch
out
straight
to
the
hill
of
Gareb
and
then
turn
toward
Goah.
40
The
whole
valley--
the
corpses,
the
ashes,
and
all
the
fields
as
far
as
the
Kidron
Valley
to
the
corner
of
the
Horse
Gate
to
the
east--
will
be
holy
to
the
LORD.
It
will
never
be
uprooted
or
demolished
again."
Ezekiel 20:43
43
There
you
will
remember
your
ways
and
all
your
deeds
you
have
defiled
yourselves
with,
and
you
will
loathe
yourselves
for
all
the
evil
things
you
have
done.
Ezekiel 36:31
31
"Then
you
will
remember
your
evil
ways
and
your
deeds
that
were
not
good,
and
you
will
loathe
yourselves
for
your
iniquities
and
abominations.
Galatians 4:26
26
But
the
Jerusalem
above
is
free,
and
she
is
our
mother.
