Zechariah 3:1 (ERVEN) Easy to Read - English

1 The angel showed me Joshua the high priest, standing in front of the Angel of the Lord and Satan was standing by Joshua's right side. Satan was there to accuse Joshua of doing wrong.
2 Then {the angel of} the Lord said, "The Lord says that you are wrong, and he will continue to correct you! The Lord has chosen Jerusalem to be his special city. He saved that city—it was like a burning stick pulled from the fire."
3 Joshua was wearing a dirty robe as he stood in front of the angel.
4 Then the angel said to the other angels standing near him, "Take those dirty clothes off Joshua." Then the angel spoke to Joshua. He said, "Now, I have taken away your guilt, and I am giving you a new change of clothes."
5 Then I said, "Put a clean turban on his head." So they put the clean turban on him and also put clean clothes on him while the Lord's angel stood there.
6 Then the Lord's angel said this to Joshua:
7 This is what the Lord All-Powerful said: "Live the way I tell you, and do everything I say. And you will be in charge of my Temple. You will take care of its courtyard. You will be free to go anywhere in my Temple, just as these angels standing here.
8 Listen, Joshua, you who are high priest, and listen, you fellow priests seated before him. You are all examples to show what will happen when I bring my special servant. He is called, The Branch.
9 Look, I put a special stone in front of Joshua. There are seven sides on that stone. I will carve a special message on it. This will show that in one day, I will remove the guilt from this land."
10 The Lord All-Powerful says, "At that time people will sit and talk with their friends and neighbors. They will invite each other to sit under the fig trees and grapevines."

3 Now Joshua H3091 was H1961 VQQ3MS clothed H3847 with filthy H6674 garments H899 , and stood H5975 before H6440 L-CMP the angel H4397 .
4 And he answered H6030 W-VQY3MS and spoke H559 W-VQY3MS unto H413 PREP those that stood H5975 before H6440 L-CMP-3MS him , saying H559 W-VQY3MS , Take away H5493 the filthy H6674 garments H899 from M-PREP-3MS him . And unto H413 PREP-3MS him he said H559 W-VQY3MS , Behold H7200 VQI2MS , I have caused thine iniquity H5771 to pass H5674 from M-PREP-3MS thee , and I will clothe H3847 thee with change of raiment H4254 .
5 And I said H559 W-VQY1MS , Let them set H7760 VQY3MP a fair H2889 AMS miter H6797 upon H5921 PREP his head H7218 CMS-3MS . 6 And the angel H4397 of the LORD H3068 EDS protested H5749 unto Joshua H3091 , saying H559 L-VQFC ,
7 Thus H3541 saith H559 VQQ3MS the LORD H3068 EDS of hosts H6635 ; If H518 PART thou wilt walk H1980 VQY2MS in my ways H1870 , and if H518 PART thou wilt keep H8104 my charge H4931 , then thou H859 PPRO-2MS shalt also H1571 W-CONJ judge H1777 my house H1004 CMS-1MS , and shalt also H1571 W-CONJ keep H8104 VQY2MS my courts H2691 , and I will give H5414 thee places to walk H4108 among H996 PREP these H428 that stand H5975 by .
8 Hear H8085 VQI2MS now H4994 IJEC , O Joshua H3091 the high H1419 D-AMS priest H3548 , thou H859 PPRO-2MS , and thy fellows H7453 that sit H3427 before H6440 L-CMP-2MS thee : for H3588 CONJ they H1992 PPRO-3MP are men H376 CMP wondered H4159 at : for H3588 CONJ , behold H2009 , I will bring forth VHPMS my servant H5650 CMS-1MS the BRANCH H6780 .
9 For H3588 CONJ behold H2009 IJEC the stone H68 GFS that H834 RPRO I have laid H5414 VQQ1MS before H6440 L-CMP Joshua H3091 ; upon H5921 PREP one H259 OFS stone H68 GFS shall be seven H7651 NUM-MS eyes H5869 : behold H2009 IJEC , I will engrave H6605 the graving H6603 thereof , saith H5002 the LORD H3068 EDS of hosts H6635 , and I will remove H4185 the iniquity H5771 of that H1931 land H776 D-GFS in one H259 ONUM day H3117 B-NMS .
10 In that H1931 D-PPRO-3MS day H3117 B-AMS , saith H5002 the LORD H3068 EDS of hosts H6635 , shall ye call H7121 every man H376 NMS his neighbor H7453 L-CMS-3MS under H413 PREP the vine H1612 and under H413 PREP the fig tree H8384 .
