Exodus 36:9 (ERVEN) Easy to Read - English

1 "So Bezalel, Oholiab, and all the other skilled men must do the work the Lord has commanded. The Lord has given these men the wisdom and understanding to do all the skilled work needed to build this holy place."
2 Then Moses called Bezalel, Oholiab, and all the other skilled men who the Lord had given special skills to. And they came because they wanted to help with the work.
3 Moses gave them everything the Israelites had brought as gifts, and they used these things to build the holy place. The people continued to bring gifts each morning.
4 Finally, all the skilled workers left the work they were doing on the holy place, and they went to speak to Moses. They said,
5 "The people have brought too much. We have more than we need to finish the work the Lord told us to do."
6 Then Moses sent this message throughout the camp: "No man or woman should make anything else as a gift for the holy place." So the people were forced to stop giving more.
7 The people had brought more than enough things to finish the work of building God's holy place.
8 Then the skilled workers began making the Holy Tent. They made the ten curtains from fine linen and blue, purple, and red yarn. And they sewed pictures of Cherub angels with wings into the curtains.
9 Each curtain was the same size—28 cubits long and 4 cubits wide.
10 The workers joined the curtains together into two groups of curtains. They joined five curtains together to make one group and five curtains together to make the other group.
11 Then they used blue cloth to make loops along the edge of the end curtain of one group. And they did the same on the end curtain in the other group.
12 There were 50 loops on the end curtain in one group, and 50 loops on the end curtain in the other group. The loops were opposite each other.
13 Then they made 50 gold rings to join the two curtains together. So the Holy Tent was joined together into one piece.
14 Then the workers made another tent to cover the Holy Tent. They used goat hair to make eleven curtains.
15 All the curtains were the same size—30 cubits long and 4 cubits wide.
16 The workers joined five curtains together into one group and six curtains together into another group.
17 They put 50 loops along the edge of the end curtain of one group. And they did the same on the end curtain of the other group.
18 The workers made 50 bronze rings to join the two groups of curtains together to form one tent.
19 Then they made two more coverings for the Holy Tent. One covering was made from ram skins dyed red. The other covering was made from fine leather.
20 Then the workers made frames from acacia wood to support the Holy Tent.
21 Each frame was 10 cubits long and 1?cubits wide.
22 There were two side poles joined together with cross pieces to make each frame. Every frame for the Holy Tent was made the same.
23 They made 20 frames for the south side of the Holy Tent.
24 Then they made 40 silver bases for the frames. There were two bases for each frame—one base for each side pole.
25 They also made 20 frames for the other side (the north side) of the Holy Tent.
26 They made 40 silver bases for the frames—two bases for each frame.
27 They made six more frames for the back (the west side) of the Holy Tent.
28 They also made two frames for the corners at the back of the Holy Tent.
29 These frames were joined together at the bottom. And at the top a ring held the corner frames together. They did the same for both corners.
30 There was a total of eight frames for the west side of the Holy Tent. And there were 16 silver bases—two bases for each frame.
31 Then the workers used acacia wood to make the braces for the frames—five braces for the first side of the Holy Tent,
32 five braces for the other side, and five braces for the back of the Holy Tent (that is, the west side).
33 They made the middle brace so that it passed through the frames from one end to the other.
34 They covered these frames with gold. Then they used gold to make the rings to hold the braces, and they covered the braces with gold.
35 They used fine linen and blue, purple, and red yarn to make the special curtain for the entrance to the Most Holy Place. And they sewed pictures of Cherub angels into the curtain.
36 They made four posts using acacia wood, and they covered the posts with gold. Then they made gold hooks for the posts and four silver bases for the posts.
37 Then they made the curtain to cover the entrance to the Tent. They used blue, purple, and red yarn and fine linen to make this curtain. And they wove pictures into it.
38 Then they made the five posts and the hooks for this curtain over the entrance. They covered the tops of the posts and the curtain rods with gold. And they made the five bronze bases for the posts.

2 And Moses H4872 called H7121 W-VQY3MS Bezaleel H1212 and Aholiab H171 , and every H3605 NMS wise H2450 JMS hearted H3820 NMS man H376 NMS , in whose H834 RPRO heart H3820 NMS the LORD H3068 EDS had put H5414 VQQ3MS wisdom H2451 NFS , even every one H3605 NMS whose H834 RPRO heart H3820 NMS stirred him up H5375 to come H7126 unto H413 PREP the work H4399 to do H6213 it :
3 And they received H3947 W-VQY3MP of ML-CMP Moses H4872 all H3605 NMS the offering H8641 , which H834 RPRO the children H1121 of Israel H3478 had brought H935 for the work H4399 of the service H5656 of the sanctuary H6944 , to make H6213 it withal . And they H1992 W-PPRO-3MP brought H935 yet H5750 ADV unto H413 PREP-3MS him free offerings H5071 every morning H1242 B-NMS .
4 And all H3605 NMS the wise men H2450 , that wrought H6213 all H3605 NMS the work H4399 of the sanctuary H6944 , came H935 W-VQY3MP every man H376 NMS from his work H4399 which H834 RPRO they H1992 PPRO-3MP made H6213 ;
5 And they spoke H559 W-VQY3MP unto H413 PREP Moses H4872 , saying H559 , The people H5971 bring H935 L-VHFC much more H7235 than enough H1767 for the service H5656 of the work H4399 , which H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS commanded H6680 VPQ3MS to make H6213 .
6 And Moses H4872 gave commandment H6680 W-VPY3MS , and they caused it to be proclaimed H5674 throughout the camp H4264 , saying H559 L-VQFC , Let neither H408 NPAR man H376 NMS nor woman H802 make H6213 any more H5750 ADV work H4399 for the offering H8641 of the sanctuary H6944 . So the people H5971 were restrained H3607 W-VNY3MS from bringing H935 .
7 For the stuff H4399 they had H1961 VQQ3FS was sufficient H1767 for all H3605 L-CMS the work H4399 to make H6213 L-VQFC it , and too much H3498 .
8 And every H3605 CMS wise H2450 JMS hearted H3820 NMS man among them that wrought H6213 W-VQY3MP the work H4399 of the tabernacle H4908 made H6213 ten H6235 MFS curtains H3407 of fine twined linen H8336 , and blue H8504 , and purple H713 , and scarlet H8438 : with cherubims H3742 of cunning H2803 work H4639 M-CMS made H6213 VQQ3MS he them .
9 The length H753 CMS of one H259 D-ONUM curtain H3407 was twenty H6242 W-MMP and eight H8083 MFS cubits H520 , and the breadth H7341 W-CMS of one H259 curtain H3407 four H702 MFS cubits H520 : the curtains H3407 were all H3605 L-CMS of one H259 OFS size H4060 .
10 And he coupled H2266 the five H2568 BFS curtains H3407 one H259 OFS unto H413 PREP another H259 OFS : and the other five H2568 curtains H3407 he coupled H2266 one H259 OFS unto H413 PREP another H259 OFS .
11 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS loops H3924 of blue H8504 on H5921 PREP the edge H8193 CFS of one H259 curtain H3407 from the selvage H7098 in the coupling H4225 : likewise H3651 ADV he made H6213 W-VQY3MS in the uttermost H7020 side H8193 of another curtain H3407 , in the coupling H4225 of the second H8145 .
12 Fifty H2572 MMP loops H3924 made H6213 VQQ3MS he in one H259 curtain H3407 , and fifty H2572 W-MMP loops H3924 made H6213 VQQ3MS he in the edge H7097 of the curtain H3407 which H834 RPRO was in the coupling H4225 of the second H8145 D-ONUM : the loops H3924 held H6901 one H259 OFS curtain to H413 PREP another H259 .
13 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS fifty H2572 MMP tacks H7165 of gold H2091 NMS , and coupled H2266 the curtains H3407 one H259 OFS unto H413 PREP another H259 OFS with the tacks H7165 : so it became H1961 W-VPY3MS one H259 ONUM tabernacle H4908 .
14 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS curtains H3407 of goats H5795 \' hair for the tent H168 over H5921 PREP the tabernacle H4908 : eleven H6249 curtains H3407 he made H6213 W-VQY3MS them .
15 The length H753 CMS of one H259 curtain H3407 was thirty H7970 MMP cubits H520 , and four H702 W-BFS cubits H520 was the breadth H7341 of one H259 curtain H3407 : the eleven H6249 curtains H3407 were of one H259 OFS size H4060 .
16 And he coupled H2266 five H2568 BFS curtains H3407 by themselves H905 , and six H8337 RFS curtains H3407 by themselves H905 .
17 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS fifty H2572 MMP loops H3924 upon H5921 PREP the uttermost H7020 edge H8193 CFS of the curtain H3407 in the coupling H4225 , and fifty H2572 W-MMP loops H3924 made H6213 W-VQY3MS he upon H5921 PREP the edge H8193 CFS of the curtain H3407 which coupleth H2279 the second H8145 .
18 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS fifty H2572 MMP tacks H7165 of brass H5178 CFS to couple the tent together H2266 , that it might be H1961 one H259 ONUM .
19 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS a covering H4372 for the tent H168 of rams H352 \' skins H5785 dyed red H119 , and a covering H4372 of badgers H8476 \' skins H5785 above H4605 that .
20 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS boards H7175 for the tabernacle H4908 of shittim H7848 wood H6086 CMP , standing up H5975 .
21 The length H753 CMS of a board H7175 was ten H6235 MFS cubits H520 , and the breadth H7341 of a H259 board H7175 one cubit H520 and a half H2677 .
22 One H259 D-AMS board H7175 had two H8147 ONUM tenons H3027 , equally distant H7947 one H259 OFS from H413 PREP another H259 MFS : thus H3651 ADV did he make H6213 VQQ3MS for all H3605 the boards H7175 of the tabernacle H4908 .
23 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS boards H7175 for the tabernacle H4908 ; twenty H6242 boards H7175 for the south H5045 side H6285 southward H8486 :
24 And forty H705 W-MMP sockets H134 of silver H3701 he made H6213 VQQ3MS under H8478 NMS the twenty H6242 boards H7175 ; two H8147 ONUM sockets H134 under H8478 NMS one H259 board H7175 for his two H8147 tenons H3027 , and two H8147 sockets H134 under H8478 NMS another H259 board H7175 for his two H8147 tenons H3027 .
25 And for the other H8145 D-ONUM side H6763 of the tabernacle H4908 , which is toward the north H6828 NFS corner H6285 , he made H6213 VQQ3MS twenty H6242 boards H7175 ,
26 And their forty H705 W-MMP sockets H134 of silver H3701 NMS ; two H8147 ONUM sockets H134 under H8478 NMS one H259 board H7175 , and two H8147 sockets H134 under H8478 NMS another H259 board H7175 .
27 And for the sides H3411 of the tabernacle H4908 westward H3220 he made H6213 VQQ3MS six H8337 boards H7175 .
28 And two H8147 boards H7175 made H6213 VQQ3MS he for the corners H4742 of the tabernacle H4908 in the two sides H3411 .
29 And they were H1961 W-VQQ3MS coupled H8382 beneath H4295 , and coupled H8382 together H3162 at H413 PREP the head H7218 CMS-3MS thereof , to H413 PREP one H259 ring H2885 : thus H3651 ADV he did H6213 VQQ3MS to both H8147 of them in both H8147 the corners H4740 .
30 And there were H1961 W-VQQ3MS eight H8083 MMS boards H7175 ; and their sockets H134 were sixteen H8337 sockets H134 of silver H3701 NMS , under H8478 NMS every H259 board H7175 two H8147 ONUM sockets H134 .
31 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS bars H1280 of shittim H7848 wood H6086 CMP ; five H2568 for the boards H7175 of the one H259 side H6763 of the tabernacle H4908 ,
32 And five H2568 bars H1280 for the boards H7175 of the other H8145 D-ONUM side H6763 of the tabernacle H4908 , and five H2568 bars H1280 for the boards H7175 of the tabernacle H4908 for the sides H3411 westward H3220 .
33 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS the middle H8484 bar H1280 to shoot H1272 L-VQFC through H8432 B-NMS the boards H7175 from H4480 PREP the one end H7097 to H413 PREP the other H7097 .
34 And he overlaid H6823 the boards H7175 with gold H2091 NMS , and made H6213 VQQ3MS their rings H2885 of gold H2091 NMS to be places H1004 NMP for the bars H1280 , and overlaid H6823 the bars H1280 with gold H2091 .
35 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS a veil H6532 of blue H8504 , and purple H713 , and scarlet H8438 , and fine twined linen H8336 : with cherubims H3742 made H6213 W-VQY3MS he it of cunning H2803 work H4639 M-CMS .
36 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS thereunto four H702 MMS pillars H5982 CMP of shittim H7848 wood , and overlaid H6823 them with gold H2091 NMS : their hooks H2053 were of gold H2091 NMS ; and he cast H3332 for them four H702 MMS sockets H134 of silver H3701 .
37 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS a hanging H4539 for the tabernacle H168 door H6607 of blue H8504 , and purple H713 , and scarlet H8438 , and fine twined linen H8336 , of needlework H4639 M-CMS ;
38 And the five H2568 pillars H5982 of it with their hooks H2053 : and he overlaid H6823 their chapiters H7218 CMP-3MP and their fillets H2838 with gold H2091 NMS : but their five H2568 sockets H134 were of brass H5178 .
