Exodus 39:34 (ERVEN) Easy to Read - English

1 The workers used the blue, purple, and red yarn to make special clothes for the priests to wear when they served in the holy place. They also made the special clothes for Aaron as the Lord had commanded Moses.
2 They made the ephod from gold thread, fine linen, and blue, purple, and red yarn.
3 (They hammered the gold into thin strips and cut the gold into long threads. They wove the gold into the blue, purple, and red yarn and fine linen. This was the work of a very skilled person.)
4 They made the shoulder pieces for the ephod. They tied these shoulder pieces to the two corners of the ephod.
5 They wove the cloth belt and fastened it to the ephod. It was made the same way as the ephod— they used gold thread, fine linen, and blue, purple, and red yarn, just as the Lord commanded Moses.
6 The workers put the onyx stones for the ephod in gold settings. They wrote the names of the sons of Israel on these stones.
7 Then they put these jewels on the shoulder pieces of the ephod. These jewels were to help God to remember the Israelites. This was done as the Lord commanded Moses.
8 Then they made the judgment pouch. It was the work of a skilled person, just like the ephod. It was made from gold threads, fine linen, and blue, purple, and red yarn.
9 The judgment pouch was folded in half to make a square pocket. It was 1 span long and 1 span wide.
10 Then the workers put four rows of beautiful jewels on the judgment pouch. The first row had a ruby, a topaz, and a beryl.
11 The second row had a turquoise, a sapphire, and an emerald.
12 The third row had a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst.
13 The fourth row had a chrysolite, an onyx, and a jasper. All these jewels were set in gold.
14 There were twelve jewels on the judgment pouch—one jewel for each of the sons of Israel. Each stone had the name of one of the sons of Israel carved onto it, like a seal.
15 The workers made two chains from pure gold for the judgment pouch. The chains were braided like a rope.
16 The workers made two gold rings and fastened them to two corners of the judgment pouch. Then they made two gold settings for the shoulder pieces.
17 They fastened the gold chains to the rings at the corners of the judgment pouch.
18 They fastened the other ends of the gold chains to the settings on the shoulder pieces. They fastened these to the front of the ephod.
19 Then they made two more gold rings and put them on the other two corners of the judgment pouch. This was on the inside edge of the judgment pouch next to the ephod.
20 They also put two gold rings on the bottom of the shoulder pieces on the front of the ephod. These rings were near the fastener, just above the cloth belt.
21 Then they used a blue ribbon and tied the rings of the judgment pouch to the rings of the ephod. In this way the judgment pouch would rest close to the cloth belt and would be held tight against the ephod. They did everything just as the Lord commanded.
22 Then they made the robe for the ephod from blue cloth. It was woven by a skilled worker.
23 They made a hole in the center of the robe and sewed a piece of cloth around the edge of this hole. This cloth kept the hole from tearing.
24 Then they used fine linen and blue, purple, and red yarn to make the cloth pomegranates. They hung these pomegranates around the bottom edge of the robe.
25 Then they made bells from pure gold. They hung these bells around the bottom edge of the robe between the pomegranates.
26 Around the bottom edge of the robe there were bells and pomegranates. There was a bell following each pomegranate. This robe was for the priest to wear when he served the Lord. It was made just as the Lord commanded Moses.
27 Skilled workers wove shirts for Aaron and his sons. These shirts were made from fine linen.
28 And the workers made a turban from fine linen. They also used fine linen to make head bands and underclothes.
29 Then they made the cloth belt from fine linen and blue, purple, and red yarn. Designs were sewn into the cloth. These things were made as the Lord had commanded Moses.
30 Then they made the strip of gold for the holy crown. They made it from pure gold. They wrote words into the gold. They wrote these words: holy to the lord.
31 They fastened the gold strip to a blue ribbon. Then they tied the blue ribbon around the turban like the Lord had commanded Moses.
32 So all the work on the Holy Tent, that is, the Meeting Tent, was finished. The Israelites did everything exactly like the Lord had commanded Moses.
33 Then they showed the Holy Tent and everything in it to Moses. They showed him the rings, the frames, the braces, the posts, and the bases.
34 They showed him the covering of the Tent that was made from ram skins dyed red and the covering that was made from fine leather. And they showed him the curtain that covered the entrance to the Most Holy Place.
35 They showed Moses the Box of the Agreement, the poles used for carrying it, and the mercy-cover.
36 They showed him the table with everything on it and the special bread.
37 They showed him the pure gold lampstand and the lamps on it, the oil, and all the other things that were used with the lamps.
38 They showed Moses the golden altar, the anointing oil, the sweetsmelling incense, and the curtain that covered the entrance to the Tent.
39 They showed him the bronze altar, the bronze screen, the poles used for carrying the altar, and everything that was used on the altar. They showed him the bowl and the base under the bowl.
40 They showed Moses the wall of curtains around the courtyard with the posts and bases. They showed him the curtain that covered the entrance to the courtyard. They showed him the ropes and the tent pegs. They showed him everything in the Holy Tent, that is, the Meeting Tent.
41 Then they showed Moses the clothes that were made for the priests serving in the holy area. They showed him the special clothes for Aaron the priest and his sons to wear when they served as priests.
42 The Israelites did all this work exactly as the Lord had commanded Moses.
43 Moses looked closely at all the work and saw that it was done exactly as the Lord had commanded. So Moses blessed them.

2 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS the ephod H646 of gold H2091 NMS , blue H8504 , and purple H713 , and scarlet H8438 , and fine twined linen H8336 .
3 And they did beat H7554 the gold H2091 into thin plates H6341 , and cut H7112 it into wires H6616 , to work H6213 L-VQFC it in H8432 B-NMS the blue H8504 , and in H8432 B-NMS the purple H713 , and in H8432 B-NMS the scarlet H8438 CFS , and in H8432 B-NMS the fine linen H8336 , with cunning H2803 work H4639 M-CMS .
4 They made H6213 shoulder pieces H3802 for it , to couple it together H2266 : by H5921 PREP the two H8147 ONUM edges H7098 was it coupled together H2266 .
5 And the curious girdle H2805 of his ephod H642 , that H834 RPRO was upon H5921 PREP-3MS it , was of H4480 M-PREP-3MS the same H1931 PPRO-3MS , according to the work H4639 thereof ; of gold H2091 NMS , blue H8504 , and purple H713 , and scarlet H8438 , and fine twined linen H8336 ; as H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS commanded H6680 VPQ3MS Moses H4872 .
6 And they wrought H6213 W-EMS onyx H7718 stones H68 CMP enclosed in H4142 ouches H4865 of gold H2091 NMS , graven H6605 , as signets H2368 NMS are graven H6603 , with H5921 PREP the names H8034 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 LMS .
7 And he put H7760 W-VQY3MS them on H5921 PREP the shoulders H3802 of the ephod H646 , that they should be stones H68 CMP for a memorial H2146 to the children H1121 L-CMP of Israel H3478 ; as H834 K-RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS commanded H6680 VPQ3MS Moses H4872 .
8 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS the breastplate H2833 of cunning H2803 work H4639 M-CMS , like the work H4639 of the ephod H646 ; of gold H2091 NMS , blue H8504 , and purple H713 , and scarlet H8438 , and fine twined linen H8336 .
9 It was H1961 VQQ3MS foursquare H7251 ; they made H6213 VQQ3MP the breastplate H2833 double H3717 : a span H2239 was the length H753 thereof , and a span H2239 the breadth H7341 thereof , being doubled H3717 .
10 And they set H4390 in it four H702 MMS rows H2905 of stones H68 NFS : the first row H2905 was a sardius H124 , a topaz H6357 , and a carbuncle H1304 : this was the first H259 row H2905 .
11 And the second H8145 D-ONUM row H2905 , an emerald H5306 , a sapphire H5601 NMS , and a diamond H3095 .
12 And the third H7992 D-ONUM row H2905 , a ligure H3958 , an agate H7618 , and an amethyst H306 .

14 And the stones H68 were according to H5921 PREP the names H8034 of the children H1121 of Israel H3478 , twelve H8147 MFS , according to H5921 PREP their names H8034 , like the engravings H6603 of a signet H2368 , every one H376 NMS with H5921 PREP his name H8034 CMS-3MS , according to the twelve H8147 tribes H7626 .
15 And they made H6213 W-VQY3MP upon H5921 PREP the breastplate H2833 chains H8333 at the ends H1383 , of wreathen H5688 work H4639 M-CMS of pure H2889 gold H2091 NMS .
16 And they made H6213 W-EMS two H8147 ONUM ouches H4865 of gold H2091 NMS , and two H8147 gold H2091 NMS rings H2885 ; and put H5414 the two H8147 ONUM rings H2885 in H5921 PREP the two H8147 ONUM ends H7098 CFP of the breastplate H2833 .
17 And they put H5414 the two H8147 ONUM wreathen chains H5688 of gold H2091 in H5921 PREP the two H8147 ONUM rings H2885 on H5921 PREP the ends H7098 CFP of the breastplate H2833 .
18 And the two H8147 ONUM ends H7098 CFP of the two H8147 ONUM wreathen chains H5688 they fastened H5414 in H5921 PREP the two H8147 ONUM ouches H4865 , and put H5414 them on H5921 PREP the shoulder pieces H3802 of the ephod H646 , before H413 PREP 6 H6440 PREP it .
19 And they made H6213 W-EMS two H8147 ONUM rings H2885 of gold H2091 NMS , and put H7760 W-VQY3MP them on H5921 PREP the two H8147 ONUM ends H7098 CFP of the breastplate H2833 , upon H5921 PREP the border H8193 of it , which H834 RPRO was on H413 PREP the side H5676 of the ephod H646 inward H1004 .
20 And they made H6213 W-EMS two H8147 ONUM other golden H2091 NMS rings H2885 , and put H5414 them on H5921 PREP the two H8147 ONUM sides H3802 of the ephod H646 underneath H4295 , toward H4136 the forepart H6440 CMP-3MS of it , over against H5980 the other coupling H4225 thereof , above H4605 the curious girdle H2805 of the ephod H646 .
21 And they did bind H7405 the breastplate H2833 by his rings H2885 unto H413 PREP the rings H2885 of the ephod H646 with a lace H6616 of blue H8504 , that it might be H1961 above H5921 PREP the curious girdle H2805 of the ephod H646 , and that the breastplate H2833 might not H3808 W-NPAR be loosed H2118 from PREP the ephod H646 ; as H834 K-RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS commanded H6680 VPQ3MS Moses H4872 .
22 And he made H6213 W-VQY3MS the robe H4598 of the ephod H646 of woven H707 work H4639 M-CMS , all H3632 of blue H8504 .
23 And there was a hole H6310 in the midst H8432 of the robe H4598 , as the hole H6310 K-CMS of a habergeon H8473 , with a band H8193 NFS round about H5439 ADV the hole H6310 , that it should not H3808 NADV rend H7167 .
24 And they made H6213 W-EMS upon H5921 PREP the hems H7757 of the robe H4598 pomegranates H7416 of blue H8504 , and purple H713 , and scarlet H8438 , and twined H7806 linen .
25 And they made H6213 W-VQY3MP bells H6472 of pure H2889 AMS gold H2091 NMS , and put H5414 W-VQY3MP the bells H6472 between H8432 B-NMS the pomegranates H7416 upon H5921 PREP the hem H7757 of the robe H4598 , round about H5439 ADV between H8432 B-NMS the pomegranates H7416 ;
26 A bell H6472 and a pomegranate H7416 , a bell H6472 and a pomegranate H7416 , round about H5439 ADV the hem H7757 of the robe H4598 to minister H8334 in ; as H8334 the LORD H3068 EDS commanded H6680 VPQ3MS Moses H4872 .
27 And they made H6213 coats H3801 of fine linen H8336 of woven H707 work H4639 M-CMS for Aaron H175 , and for his sons H1121 ,
28 And a miter H4701 of fine linen H8336 , and goodly H6287 bonnets H4021 of fine linen H8336 , and linen H906 breeches H4370 of fine twined linen H8336 ,
29 And a girdle H73 of fine twined linen H8336 , and blue H8504 , and purple H713 , and scarlet H8438 , of needlework H4639 M-CMS ; as H834 K-RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS commanded H6680 VPQ3MS Moses H4872 .
30 And they made H6213 the plate H6731 of the holy H6944 crown H5145 of pure H2889 AMS gold H2091 NMS , and wrote H3789 upon H5921 PREP-3MS it a writing H4385 , like to the engravings H6603 of a signet H2368 NMS , HOLINESS H6944 TO THE LORD H3068 .
31 And they tied H5414 W-VQY3MP unto H5921 PREP-3MS it a lace H6616 of blue H8504 , to fasten H5414 L-VQFC it on high H4605 upon H5921 PREP-3MS the miter H4701 ; as H834 K-RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS commanded H6680 VPQ3MS Moses H4872 .
32 Thus was all H3605 NMS the work H5656 of the tabernacle H4908 of the tent H168 NMS of the congregation H4150 NMS finished H3615 : and the children H1121 of Israel H3478 did H6213 W-EMS according to all H3605 NMS that H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS commanded H6680 VPQ3MS Moses H4872 , so H3651 ADV did H6213 they .
33 And they brought H935 the tabernacle H4908 unto H413 PREP Moses H4872 , the tent H168 , and all H3605 NMS his furniture H3627 , his tacks H7165 , his boards H7175 , his bars H1280 , and his pillars H5982 , and his sockets H134 ,
34 And the covering H4372 CMS of rams H352 \' skins H5785 dyed red H119 , and the covering H4372 CMS of badgers H8476 \' skins H5785 , and the veil H6532 of the covering H4539 ,
35 The ark H727 of the testimony H5715 , and the staves H905 CMP-3MS thereof , and the mercy seat H3727 ,
36 The table H7979 , and all H3605 NMS the vessels H3627 thereof , and the shewbread H3899 NMS ,

39 The brazen H5178 altar H4196 , and his H834 RPRO grate H4345 of brass H5178 , his staves H905 CMP-3MS , and all H3605 NMS his vessels H3627 , the laver H3595 and his foot H3653 ,
40 The hangings H7050 of the court H2691 , his pillars H5982 , and his sockets H134 CMP-3FS , and the hanging H4539 for the court H2691 gate H8179 , his cords H4340 , and his pins H3489 , and all H3605 NMS the vessels H3627 of the service H5656 of the tabernacle H4908 , for the tent H168 of the congregation H4150 ,
41 The cloths H899 of service H8278 to do service H8334 in the holy H6944 place , and the holy H6944 garments H899 for Aaron H175 the priest H3548 , and his sons H1121 CMP-3MS \' garments H899 , to minister in the priest\'s office H3547 .
42 According to all H3605 NMS that H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS commanded H6680 VPQ3MS Moses H4872 , so H3651 ADV the children H1121 of Israel H3478 made H6213 VQQ3MP all H3605 NMS the work H5656 .
43 And Moses H4872 did look upon H7200 W-VIY3MS all H3605 NMS the work H4399 , and , behold H2009 IJEC , they had done H6213 VQQ3MP it as H834 K-RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS had commanded H6680 VPQ3MS , even so H3651 ADV had they done H6213 VQQ3MP it : and Moses H4872 blessed H1288 W-VNY3MS them .
