6. اور بنی اسرائیل خداند کے حضور پھر بدی کرنے اور بعلیم اور عستارات اور ارام کے دیوتاﺅں اور صیدا کے دیوتاﺅں اور موآب کے دیوتاﺅں اور بنی عمون کے دیوتاﺅں اور فلستیوں کے دیوتاﺅں کی پرستش کرنے لگے اور خداوند کو چھوڑ دیا ۔اور اس کی پرستش نہ کی ۔

7. تب خداوند کا قہر اسرائیل پر بھڑکا اور اس نے ان کو فلستیوں کے ہاتھ اور بنی عمون کے ہاتھ بیچ ڈالا۔

8. اور انہوں نے اس سال بنی اسرائیل کو تنگ کیا اور ستایا بلکہ اٹھارہ برس تک وہ بنی اسرائیل پر ظلم کرتے رہے جو یردن پار اموریوں کے ملک میں جو جلعاد میں ہے رہتے تھے ۔

9. اور بنی عمون یردن پار ہو کر یہوداہ اور بنیمین اور افرائیم کے خاندان سے لرنے کو بھی آجاتے تھے۔پس اسرائیلی بہت تنگ آگئے ۔

10. اور بنی اسرائیل خداوند سے فریاد کر کے کہنے لگے ہم نے تیرا گناہ کیا کہ اپنے خدا کو چھوڑا اور بعلیم کی پرستش کی ۔

10. And the children H1121 of Israel H3478 cried H2199 unto H413 the LORD H3068 , saying H559 , We have sinned H2398 against thee , both because H3588 we have forsaken H5800 H853 our God H430 , and also served H5647 H853 Baalim H1168 .

11. اور خداوند نے بنی اسرائیل سے کہا کیا میں نے تم کو مصریوں اور اموریوں اور بنی عمون اور فلستیوں کے ہاتھ سے رہائی نہیں دی ۔

11. And the LORD H3068 said H559 unto H3413 the children H1121 of Israel H3478 , Did not H3808 I deliver you from the Egyptians H4480 H4714 , and from H4480 the Amorites H567 , from H4480 the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 , and from H4480 the Philistines H6430 ?

12. اور صیدانیوں اور عمالیقیوں اور ماعونیوں نے بھی تم کو ستایا اور تم نے مجھ سے فریاد کی اور میں نے تم کو ان کے ہاتھ سے چھڑایا ۔

12. The Zidonians H6722 also , and the Amalekites H6002 , and the Maonites H4584 , did oppress H3905 you ; and ye cried H6817 to H413 me , and I delivered H3467 you out of their hand H4480 H3027 .

13. تو بھی تم مجھے چھوڑ کر اور معبودوں کی پرستش کی ۔سو اب میں تم کو رہائی نہیں دونگا ۔

13. Yet ye H859 have forsaken H5800 me , and served H5647 other H312 gods H430 : wherefore H3651 I will deliver H3467 you no H3808 more H3254 .

14. تم جا کر ان دیوتاﺅں سے جن کو تم نے اختیار کیا ہے فریاد کرو ۔وہی تمہاری مصیبت کے وقت تم کو چھڑائیں ۔
|
14. Go H1980 and cry H2199 unto H413 the gods H430 which H834 ye have chosen H977 ; let them H1992 deliver H3467 you in the time H6256 of your tribulation H6869 .

15. بنی اسرائیل نے خداوند سے کہا ہم نے تو گناہ کیا سو جو کچھ تیری نظر میں اچھا ہو ہم سے کر پر آج ہم کو چھڑا ہی لے ۔
|
15. And the children H1121 of Israel H3478 said H559 unto H413 the LORD H3068 , We have sinned H2398 : do H6213 thou H859 unto us whatsoever H3605 seemeth good H2896 unto H5869 thee; deliver H5337 us only H389 , we pray thee H4994 , this H2088 day H3117 .

16. اور وہ اجنبی معبودوں کو اپنے بیچ سے دور کر کے خداوند کی پرستش کرنے لگے ۔تب اس کا جی اسرائیل کی پریشانی سے غمگین ہوا ۔

17. پھر بنی عمون اکٹھے ہو کر جلعاد میں خیمہ زن ہو ئے اور بنی اسرائیل بھی فراہم ہو کر مصفاہ میں خیمہ زن ہو ئے ۔

17. Then the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 were gathered together H6817 , and encamped H2583 in Gilead H1568 . And the children H1121 of Israel H3478 assembled themselves together H622 , and encamped H2583 in Mizpeh H4709 .

18. تب جلعا د کے لوگ اورسردار ایک دوسرے سے کہنے لگے وہ کون شخص ہے جو بنی عمون سے لڑنا شروع کریگا ؟وہی جلعا د کے سب باشندوں کا حاکم ہو گا ۔

18. And the people H5971 and princes H8269 of Gilead H1568 said H559 one H376 to H413 another H7453 , What H4310 man H376 is he that H834 will begin H2490 to fight H3898 against the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 ? he shall be H1961 head H7218 over all H3605 the inhabitants H3427 of Gilead H1568 .
