Deuteronomy 29:10 (URV) Urdu Old BSI Version

1 اسرائیلیوں کے ساتھ جس عہد کے باندھنے کا حکم خداوند نے موسیٰ کو آمواب کے ملک میں دیا اُسی کی یہ باتیں ہیں ۔ یہ اُس عہد سے الگ ہے جو اُس نے اُنکے ساتھ ھورب میں باندھا تھا ۔
2 سو موسیٰ نے سب سرائیلیوں کو بُلوا کر اُن سے کہا تُم نے سب کچھ جو خداوند نے تمہاری آنکھوں کے سامنے مُلک مصر میں فرعون اور اُسکے سب خادموں اور اُسکے سارے ملک سے کیا دیکھا ہے ۔
3 امتحان کے وہ بڑے بڑے کام او ر نشان اور بڑے بڑے کرشمے تُو نے اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھے ۔
4 لیکن خداوند نے تُمکو آج تک نہ تو ایسا دل دیا جو سمجھے اور نہ دیکھنے کی آنکھیں اور سُننے کے کان دیے ۔
5 اور میں چالیس برس بیابان میں تمکو لیے پھرا اور نہ تمہارے تن کے کپڑے پُرانے ہوئے اور نہ تیرے پاوں کی جوتی پُرانی ہوئی ۔
6 اور تُم اِسی لیے روٹی کھانے اور مَے یا شراب پینے نہیں پائے تاکہ تُم جان لو کہ میں خداوند تمہارا خدا ہوں ۔
7 اور جب تُم اِسن جگہ آئے تو حسبون کا بادشاہ سیحون اور بسن کا بادشاہ عوج ہمارا مقابلہ کرنے کو نکلے اور ہم نے اُنکو مار کر ۔
8 اُنکا ملک لے لیا اور اُسے روبینیوں کو اور جدیوں کو اور منسیوں کے آدھے قبیلہ کو میراث کے طور پر دے دیا ۔
9 پس تُم اِس عہد کی باتوں کو ماننا اور اُن پر عمل کرنا تاکہ جو کچھ تُم کرو اُس میں کامیاب ہو ۔
10 آج کے دن تُم اور تمہارے سردار تمہارے قبیلے اور تمہارے بزرگ اور تمہارے منصبدار اور سب اسرائیلی مرد۔
11 اور تمہارے بچے اور تمہاری بیویاں اور وہ پردیسی بھی جو تیری خیمہ گاہ میں رہتا ہے خواہ وہ تیرا لکڑا ہارا ہو خواہ سقا سب کے سب خداوند اپنے خدا کے سامنے کھڑے ہو ۔
12 تاکہ تُو خداوند اپنے خدا کے عہد میں جسے وہ تیرے ساتھ آج باندھتا اور اُسکی قسم میں جسے وہ آج تجھ سے کھاتا ہے شامل ہو ۔
13 اور وہ تجھ کو آج کے دن اپنی قوم قرار دے اور وہ تیرا خدا ہو جیسا اُس نے تجھ سے کہا ۔ جیسی اُس نے تیرے باپ دادا ابراہام اور اضحاق اور یعقوب سے قسم کھائی ۔
14 اور میں اِس عہد اور قسم میں فقط تُم ہی کو نہیں ۔
15 پر ُکو بھی جو آج کے دن خداوند ہمارے خدا کے حضور یہاں ہمارے ساتھ کھڑا ہے اور اُسکو بھی جو آج کے دن یہاں ہمارے ساتھ نہں اُن میں شامل کرتا ہوں ۔
16 ( تُم خود جانتے ہو کہ ملک مصر میں ہم کیسے رہے اور کیونکر اُن قوموں کے بیچ سے ہو کر آئے جنکے درمیان سے تُم گذر ے ۔
17 اور تُم نے خود اُنکی مکروہ چیزیں اور لکڑی اور پتھر اور چاندی اور سونے کی مورتیں دیکھیں جو اُنکے ہاں تھیں )
18 سو ایسا نہ ہو کہ تُم میں کوئی مرد یا عورت یا خاندا ن یا قبیلہ ایسا ہو جسکا دل آج کے دن خداوند ہمارے خدا سے برگشتہ ہو اور وہ جا کر اُن قوموں کے دیوتاوں کی پرستش کرے یا ایسا نہ ہو کہ تُم میں کوئی ایسی جڑ ہو جو اندراین اور ناگدونا پیدا کرے ۔
19 اور ایسا آدمی لعنت کی یہ باتیں سُنکر دل ہی دل میں اپنے کو مبارکباد دے اور کہے کہ خواہ میں کیسا ہی ہٹی ہو کر تر ے ساتھ خُشک کو فنا کر ڈالونگا تو بھی میرے لیے سلامتی ہے ۔
20 پر خداوند اُسے معا ف نہیں کرے گا بلکہ اُس وقت خداوند کا قہر اور اُسکی غیرت اُس آدمی پر بر انگیختہ ہو گی اور سب لعنتیں جو اِس کتاب میں لکھی ہیں اُس پر پڑیں گی اور خداوند اُنکے نام کو صفحہ روز گار سے مٹا دے گا ۔
21 اور خداوند اِس عہد کی اُن سب لعنتوں کے مطابق جو اِس شریعت کی کتاب میں لکھی ہیں اُسے اسرائیل کے سب قبیلوں میں سے بُری سزا کے لیے جُدا کرے گا ۔
22 اور آنے والی پُشتوں میں تمہاری نسل کے لوگ جو تمہارے بعد پیدا ہونگے اور پردیسی بھی جو دور کے مُلک سے آئیں گے جب وہ اِس ملک کی بلاوں اور خداوند کی لگائی ہوئی بیماریوں کو دیکھیں گے ۔
23 اور یہ بھی دیکھیں گے کہ سارا مُلک گویا گندھک اور نمک بنا پڑا ہے اور ایسا جل گیا ہے کہ اِس میں نہ تو کچھ بویا جاتا نہ پیدا ہوتا اور نہ کسی قسم کی گھاس اُگتی ہے اور وہ سدوم اور عمورہ اور ادمہ اور ضبوئیم کی طرح اُجڑ گا جنہو خداوند نے اپنے غضب اور قہر میں تباہ کر ڈالا ۔
24 تب وہ بلکہ سب قومیں پوچھیں گی کہ خداوند نے اِس ملک سے ایس کیوں کیا ؟ اور ایسے بڑ ے قہر کے بھڑکنے کا سبب کیا ہے ؟
25 اُس وقت لوگ جو اب دیں گے کہ خداوند اںکے باپ دادا کے خدا نے جو عہد اِن کے ساتھ انکو ملک مصر سے نکالتے وقت باندھا تھا اُسے اِن لوگوں نے چھوڑ دیا ۔
26 اور جا کر اور معبودوں کی عبادت اور پرستش کی جن سے وہ واقف نہ تھے اور جنکو خداوند نے اِنکو دیا بھی نہ تھا ۔
27 اِسی لیے اِس کتاب کی لکھی ہوئی سب لعنتوں کو اِس ملک پر نازل کرنے کے لیے خداوند کا غضب اِس پر بھڑکا ۔
28 اور خداوند نے قہر اور غصہ اور بڑے غضب میں اِنکو اِنکے ملک سے اُکھاڑ کر دوسرے ملک میں پھینکا جیسا آج کے د ن ظاہر ہے ۔
29 غیب کا مالک تو خداوند ہمارا خدا ہی ہے پر جو باتیں ظاہر کی گئی ہیں و ہ ہمیشہ تک ہمارے اور ہماری اولاد کے لیے ہیں تاکہ ہم اِس شریعت کی سب باتوں پر عمل کریں ۔

3 The great H1419 temptations H4531 which H834 RPRO thine eyes H5869 CMD-2MS have seen H7200 VQQ3MP , the signs H226 , and those H1992 great H1419 D-AMP miracles H4159 :
4 Yet the LORD H3068 EDS hath not H3808 W-NPAR given H5414 VQQ3MS you a heart H3820 NMS to perceive H3045 L-VQFC , and eyes H5869 to see H7200 L-VQFC , and ears H241 to hear H8085 , unto H5704 PREP this H2088 D-PMS day H3117 D-AMS .
5 And I have led H1980 you forty H705 MMP years H8141 NFS in the wilderness H4057 : your clothes H8008 are not H3808 ADV waxen old H1086 upon H5921 M-PREP you , and thy shoe H5275 is not H3808 ADV waxen old H1086 upon H5921 M-PREP thy foot H7272 .
6 Ye have not H3808 NADV eaten H398 bread H3899 NMS , neither H3808 NADV have ye drunk H8354 wine H3196 or strong drink H7941 : that H4616 L-CONJ ye might know H3045 that H3588 CONJ I H589 PPRO-1MS am the LORD H3068 EDS your God H430 .
7 And when ye came H935 unto H413 PREP this H2088 D-PMS place H4725 D-NMS , Sihon H5511 the king H4428 NMS of Heshbon H2809 , and Og H5747 the king H4428 NMS of Bashan H1316 , came out H3318 W-VQY3MS against H7125 us unto battle H4421 , and we smote H5221 them :
8 And we took H3947 their land H776 , and gave H5414 it for an inheritance H5159 unto the Reubenites H7206 , and to the Gadites H1425 , and to the half H2677 tribe H7626 CMS of Manasseh H4520 .

13 That H4616 L-CONJ he may establish H6965 thee today H3117 D-AMS for a people H5971 unto himself , and that he H1931 W-PPRO-3MS may be H1961 VQY3MS unto thee a God H430 L-NMP , as H834 K-RPRO he hath said H1696 VPQ3MS unto thee , and as H834 he hath sworn H7650 unto thy fathers H1 , to Abraham H85 , to Isaac H3327 , and to Jacob H3290 .
14 Neither H3808 W-NPAR with H854 PART-2MP you only H905 do I H595 PPRO-1MS make H3772 this H2063 D-DFS covenant H1285 D-NFS and this H2063 oath H423 ;
15 But H3588 CONJ with H854 PREP him that H834 RPRO standeth H5975 here H6311 ADV with H5973 PREP-1MP us this day H3117 D-AMS before H6440 L-CMP the LORD H3068 EDS our God H430 , and also with H854 W-PART him that H834 RPRO is not H369 here H6311 ADV with H5973 PREP-1MP us this day H3117 D-NMS :
16 ( CONJ For CONJ ye H859 PPRO-2MS know H3045 how H834 RPRO we have dwelt H3427 in the land H776 B-GFS of Egypt H4714 ; and how H834 RPRO we came H5674 through H7130 the nations H1471 D-NMP which H834 RPRO ye passed by H5674 ;
17 And ye have seen H7200 their abominations H8251 , and their idols H1544 , wood H6086 NMS and stone H68 , silver H3701 NMS and gold H2091 , which H834 RPRO were among H5973 PREP-3MP them : )
18 Lest H6435 CONJ there should be H3426 PART among you man H376 NMS , or H176 CONJ woman H802 NFS , or H176 CONJ family H4940 , or H176 CONJ tribe H7626 CMS , whose H834 RPRO heart H3824 turneth away H6437 this day H3117 D-AMS from M-PREP the LORD H3068 EDS our God H430 , to go H1980 L-VQFC and serve H5647 the gods H430 CDP of these H1992 D-PPRO-3MP nations H1471 D-NMP ; lest H6435 CONJ there should be H3426 PART among you a root H8328 that beareth H6509 gall H7219 CMS and wormwood H3939 ;
19 And it come to pass H1961 W-VQQ3MS , when he heareth H8085 the words H1697 CMP of this H2063 D-DFS curse H423 , that he bless himself H1288 in his heart H3824 , saying H559 L-VQFC , I shall have H1961 W-VQQ3MS peace H7965 NMS , though H3588 CONJ I walk H1980 VQY1MS in the imagination H8307 B-CFP of mine heart H3820 NMS-1MS , to H4616 L-CONJ add H5595 drunkenness H7302 to H854 PREP thirst H6771 :
20 The LORD H3068 EDS will H14 not H3808 NADV spare H5545 him , but H3588 CONJ then H227 ADV the anger H639 CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS and his jealousy H7068 shall smoke H6225 against that H1931 D-PPRO-3MS man H376 , and all H3605 NMS the curses H423 that are written H3789 in this H2088 D-PMS book H5612 BD-NMS shall lie H7257 upon him , and the LORD H3068 EDS shall blot out H4229 his name H8034 CMS-3MS from under H8478 M-CFS heaven H8064 D-AMD .
21 And the LORD H3068 EDS shall separate H914 him unto evil H7451 out of all H3605 M-CMS the tribes H7626 of Israel H3478 , according to all H3605 K-NMS the curses H423 of the covenant H1285 D-NFS that are written H3789 in this H2088 D-PMS book H5612 of the law H8451 :
22 So that the generation H1755 to come H314 of your children H1121 that H834 RPRO shall rise up H6965 VQY3MP after H310 you , and the stranger H5237 that H834 RPRO shall come H935 VQY3MS from a far H7350 land H776 M-NFS , shall say H559 , when they see H7200 the plagues H4347 of that H1931 D-PPRO-3FS land H776 D-GFS , and the sicknesses H8463 which H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS hath laid H2470 upon it ;
23 And that the whole H3605 NMS land H776 thereof is brimstone H1614 , and salt H4417 , and burning H8316 , that it is not H3808 NADV sown H2232 , nor H3808 W-NADV beareth H6779 , nor H3808 ADV any H3605 NMS grass H6212 NMS groweth H5927 VQY3MS therein , like the overthrow H4114 of Sodom H5467 TFS , and Gomorrah H6017 W-LFS , Admah H126 TFS , and Zeboim H6636 , which H834 RPRO the LORD H3068 EDS overthrew H2015 VQQ3MS in his anger H639 B-CMS-3MS , and in his wrath H2534 :
24 Even all H3605 NMS nations H1471 D-NMP shall say H559 , Wherefore H4100 IPRO hath the LORD H3068 EDS done H6213 VQQ3MS thus H3602 ADV unto this H2063 D-DFS land H776 LD-NFS ? what H4100 IPRO meaneth the heat H2750 of this H2088 D-PMS great H1419 D-AMS anger H639 ?
25 Then men shall say H559 W-VQQ3MP , Because H5921 PREP they have forsaken H5800 the covenant H1285 NFS of the LORD H3068 EDS God H430 CDP of their fathers H1 , which H834 RPRO he made H3772 with H5973 PREP-3MP them when he brought them forth out of the land H776 M-NFS of Egypt H4714 :
26 For they went H1980 W-VQY3MP and served H5647 other H312 AMP gods H430 EDP , and worshiped H7812 them , gods H430 EDP whom H834 RPRO they knew H3045 not H3808 ADV , and whom he had not H3808 W-NADV given H2505 VQQ3MS unto them :
27 And the anger H639 CMS of the LORD H3068 EDS was kindled H2734 against this H1931 D-PPRO-3FS land H776 B-NFS , to bring H935 L-VHFC upon H5921 PREP-3FS it all H3605 NMS the curses H7045 that are written H3789 in this H2088 D-PMS book H5612 BD-NMS :
28 And the LORD H3068 EDS rooted them out H5428 of M-PREP their land H127 in anger H639 , and in wrath H2534 , and in great H1419 AMS indignation H7110 , and cast H7993 them into H413 PREP another H312 land H776 GFS , as it is this H2088 D-PMS day H3117 .
29 The secret H5641 things belong unto the LORD H3068 L-EDS our God H430 : but those things which are revealed H1540 belong unto us and to our children H1121 forever H5704 PREP , that we may do H6213 L-VQFC all H3605 NMS the words H1697 CMP of this H2063 law H8451 .
