16 कुछ फ़रीसी कहने लगे, “यह मनुष्य परमेश्वर की ओर से नहीं है क्योंकि यह सब्त का पालन नहीं करता।” उस पर दूसरे बोले, “कोई पापी आदमी भला ऐसे आश्चर्य कर्म कैसे कर सकता है?” इस तरह उनमें आपस में ही विवाद होने लगा।

ERVKN   ಫರಿಸಾಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು, “ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು (ಯೇಸು) ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ದಿನದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇವನು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಇತರರು, “ಇವನು ಪಾಪಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಂಥ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡಲಾದೀತು?” ಎಂದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲೇ ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.
