1. וִיהוֹשֻׁעַ זָקֵן בָּא בַּיָּמִים וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלָיו אַתָּה זָקַנְתָּה בָּאתָ בַיָּמִים וְהָאָרֶץ נִשְׁאֲרָה הַרְבֵּה־מְאֹד לְרִשְׁתָּהּ ׃

1. Now Joshua H3091 was old H2204 and stricken H935 in years H3117 ; and the LORD H3068 said H559 unto H413 him, Thou H859 art old H2204 and stricken H935 in years H3117 , and there remaineth H7604 yet very H3966 much H7235 land H776 to be possessed H3423 .

2. זֹאת הָאָרֶץ הַנִּשְׁאָרֶת כָּל־גְּלִילוֹת הַפְּלִשְׁתִּים וְכָל־הַגְּשׁוּרִי ׃
|
2. This H2063 is the land H776 that yet remaineth H7604 : all H3605 the borders H1552 of the Philistines H6430 , and all H3605 Geshuri H1651 ,

3. מִן־הַשִּׁיחוֹר אֲשֶׁר עַל־פְּנֵי מִצְרַיִם וְעַד גְּבוּל עֶקְרוֹן צָפוֹנָה לַכְּנַעֲנִי תֵּחָשֵׁב חֲמֵשֶׁת סַרְנֵי פְלִשְׁתִּים הָעַזָּתִי וְהָאַשְׁדּוֹדִי הָאֶשְׁקְלוֹנִי הַגִּתִּי וְהָעֶקְרוֹנִי וְהָעַוִּים ׃

3. 4. מִתֵּימָן כָּל־אֶרֶץ הַכְּנַעֲנִי וּמְעָרָה אֲשֶׁר לַצִּידֹנִים עַד־אֲפֵקָה עַד גְּבוּל הָאֱמֹרִי ׃
|

7. וְעַתָּה חַלֵּק אֶת־הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת בְּנַחֲלָה לְתִשְׁעַת הַשְּׁבָטִים וַחֲצִי הַשֵּׁבֶט הַמְנַשֶּׁה ׃
|
7. Now H6258 therefore divide H2505 H853 this H2063 land H776 for an inheritance H5159 unto the nine H8672 tribes H7626 , and the half H2677 tribe H7626 of Manasseh H4519 ,

8. עִמּוֹ הָראוּבֵנִי וְהַגָּדִי לָקְחוּ נַחֲלָתָם אֲשֶׁר נָתַן לָהֶם מֹשֶׁה בְּעֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן מִזְרָחָה כַּאֲשֶׁר נָתַן לָהֶם מֹשֶׁה עֶבֶד יְהוָה ׃

8. With H5973 whom the Reubenites H7206 and the Gadites H1425 have received H3947 their inheritance H5159 , which H834 Moses H4872 gave H5414 them, beyond H5676 Jordan H3383 eastward H4217 , even as H834 Moses H4872 the servant H5650 of the LORD H3068 gave H5414 them;

9. מֵעֲרוֹעֵר אֲשֶׁר עַל־שְׂפַת־נַחַל אַרְנוֹן וְהָעִיר אֲשֶׁר בְּתוֹךְ־הַנַּחַל וְכָל־הַמִּישֹׁר מֵידְבָא עַד־דִּיבוֹן ׃

10. וְכֹל עָרֵי סִיחוֹן מֶלֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִי אֲשֶׁר מָלַךְ בְּחֶשְׁבּוֹן עַד־גְּבוּל בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן ׃

10. And all H3605 the cities H5892 of Sihon H5511 king H4428 of the Amorites H567 , which H834 reigned H4427 in Heshbon H2809 , unto H5704 the border H1366 of the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 ;

11. וְהַגִּלְעָד וּגְבוּל הַגְּשׁוּרִי וְהַמַּעֲכָתִי וְכֹל הַר חֶרְמוֹן וְכָל־הַבָּשָׁן עַד־סַלְכָה ׃
|
11. And Gilead H1568 , and the border H1366 of the Geshurites H1651 and Maachathites H4602 , and all H3605 mount H2022 Hermon H2768 , and all H3605 Bashan H1316 unto H5704 Salcah H5548 ;

12. כָּל־מַמְלְכוּת עוֹג בַּבָּשָׁן אֲשֶׁר־מָלַךְ בְּעַשְׁתָּרוֹת וּבְאֶדְרֶעִי הוּא נִשְׁאַר מִיֶּתֶר הָרְפָאִים וַיַּכֵּם מֹשֶׁה וַיֹּרִשֵׁם ׃

12. All H3605 the kingdom H4468 of Og H5747 in Bashan H1316 , which H834 reigned H4427 in Ashtaroth H6252 and in Edrei H154 , who H1931 remained H7604 of the remnant H4480 H3499 of the giants H7497 : for these did Moses H4872 smite H5221 , and cast them out H3423 .

13. וְלֹא הוֹרִישׁוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־הַגְּשׁוּרִי וְאֶת־הַמַּעֲכָתִי וַיֵּשֶׁב גְּשׁוּר וּמַעֲכָת בְּקֶרֶב יִשְׂרָאֵל עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה ׃

13. Nevertheless the children H1121 of Israel H3478 expelled H3423 not H3808 H853 the Geshurites H1651 , nor the Maachathites H4602 : but the Geshurites H1650 and the Maachathites H4601 dwell H3427 among H7130 the Israelites H3478 until H5704 this H2088 day H3117 .

14. רַק לְשֵׁבֶט הַלֵּוִי לֹא נָתַן נַחֲלָה אִשֵּׁי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הוּא נַחֲלָתוֹ כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר־לוֹ ׃ ס

14. Only H7535 unto the tribe H7626 of Levi H3878 he gave H5414 none H3808 inheritance H5159 ; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire H801 H3068 H430 H3478 are their inheritance H5159 , as H834 he said H1696 unto them.

15. וַיִּתֵּן מֹשֶׁה לְמַטֵּה בְנֵי־רְאוּבֵן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם ׃
|
15. And Moses H4872 gave H5414 unto the tribe H4294 of the children H1121 of Reuben H7205 inheritance according to their families H4940 .

|
16. וַיְהִי לָהֶם הַגְּבוּל מֵעֲרוֹעֵר אֲשֶׁר עַל־שְׂפַת־נַחַל אַרְנוֹן וְהָעִיר אֲשֶׁר בְּתוֹךְ־הַנַּחַל וְכָל־הַמִּישֹׁר עַל־מֵידְבָא ׃

16. And their coast H1366 was H1961 from Aroer H4480 H6177 , that H834 is on H5921 the bank H8193 of the river H5158 Arnon H769 , and the city H5892 that H834 is in the midst H8432 of the river H5158 , and all H3605 the plain H4334 by H5921 Medeba H4311 ;

17. חֶשְׁבּוֹן וְכָל־עָרֶיהָ אֲשֶׁר בַּמִּישֹׁר דִּיבוֹן וּבָמוֹת בַּעַל וּבֵית בַּעַל מְעוֹן ׃
|
17. Heshbon H2809 , and all H3605 her cities H5892 that H834 are in the plain H4334 ; Dibon H1769 , and Bamoth H1120 -baal , and Beth H1010 -baal-meon,

|
18. וְיַהְצָה וּקְדֵמֹת וּמֵפָעַת ׃
|
18. And Jahazah H3096 , and Kedemoth H6932 , and Mephaath H4158 ,
|
|
19. וְקִרְיָתַיִם וְשִׂבְמָה וְצֶרֶת הַשַּׁחַר בְּהַר הָעֵמֶק ׃
|
19. And Kirjathaim H7156 , and Sibmah H7643 , and Zareth H6890 -shahar in the mount H2022 of the valley H6010 ,
|
|
20. וּבֵית פְּעוֹר וְאַשְׁדּוֹת הַפִּסְגָּה וּבֵית הַיְשִׁמוֹת ׃
|
20. And Beth H1047 -peor , and Ashdoth H798 -pisgah , and Beth H1020 -jeshimoth,
|
|
21. וְכֹל עָרֵי הַמִּישֹׁר וְכָל־מַמְלְכוּת סִיחוֹן מֶלֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִי אֲשֶׁר מָלַךְ בְּחֶשְׁבּוֹן אֲשֶׁר הִכָּה מֹשֶׁה אֹתוֹ וְאֶת־נְשִׂיאֵי מִדְיָן אֶת־אֱוִי וְאֶת־רֶקֶם וְאֶת־צוּר וְאֶת־חוּר וְאֶת־רֶבַע נְסִיכֵי סִיחוֹן יֹשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ ׃

21. And all H3605 the cities H5892 of the plain H4334 , and all H3605 the kingdom H4468 of Sihon H5511 king H4428 of the Amorites H567 , which H834 reigned H4427 in Heshbon H2809 , whom H834 Moses H4872 smote H5221 with H854 the princes H5387 of Midian H4080 , H853 Evi H189 , and Rekem H7552 , and Zur H6698 , and Hur H2354 , and Reba H7254 , which were dukes H5257 of Sihon H5511 , dwelling H3427 in the country H776 .

22. וְאֶת־בִּלְעָם בֶּן־בְּעוֹר הַקּוֹסֵם הָרְגוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל בַּחֶרֶב אֶל־חַלְלֵיהֶם ׃
|
22. Balaam H1109 also the son H1121 of Beor H1160 , the soothsayer H7080 , did the children H1121 of Israel H3478 slay H2026 with the sword H2719 among H413 them that were slain H2491 by them.

|
23. וַיְהִי גְּבוּל בְּנֵי רְאוּבֵן הַיַּרְדֵּן וּגְבוּל זֹאת נַחֲלַת בְּנֵי־רְאוּבֵן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם הֶעָרִים וְחַצְרֵיהֶן ׃ פ

23. And the border H1366 of the children H1121 of Reuben H7205 was H1961 Jordan H3383 , and the border H1366 thereof . This H2063 was the inheritance H5159 of the children H1121 of Reuben H7205 after their families H4940 , the cities H5892 and the villages H2691 thereof.

24. וַיִּתֵּן מֹשֶׁה לְמַטֵּה־גָד לִבְנֵי־גָד לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם ׃
|
24. And Moses H4872 gave H5414 inheritance unto the tribe H4294 of Gad H1410 , even unto the children H1121 of Gad H1410 according to their families H4940 .
|
|
25. וַיְהִי לָהֶם הַגְּבוּל יַעְזֵר וְכָל־עָרֵי הַגִּלְעָד וַחֲצִי אֶרֶץ בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן עַד־עֲרוֹעֵר אֲשֶׁר עַל־פְּנֵי רַבָּה ׃
|
25. And their coast H1366 was H1961 Jazer H3270 , and all H3605 the cities H5892 of Gilead H1568 , and half H2677 the land H776 of the children H1121 of Ammon H5983 , unto H5704 Aroer H6177 that H834 is before H5921 H6440 Rabbah H7237 ;

26. וּמֵחֶשְׁבּוֹן עַד־רָמַת הַמִּצְפֶּה וּבְטֹנִים וּמִמַּחֲנַיִם עַד־גְּבוּל לִדְבִר ׃
|
26. And from Heshbon H4480 H2809 unto H5704 Ramath H7434 -mizpeh , and Betonim H993 ; and from Mahanaim H4480 H4266 unto H5704 the border H1366 of Debir H1688 ;
|
|
27. וּבָעֵמֶק בֵּית הָרָם וּבֵית נִמְרָה וְסֻכּוֹת וְצָפוֹן יֶתֶר מַמְלְכוּת סִיחוֹן מֶלֶךְ חֶשְׁבּוֹן הַיַּרְדֵּן וּגְבֻל עַד־קְצֵה יָם־כִּנֶּרֶת עֵבֶר הַיַּרְדֵּן מִזְרָחָה ׃
|
27. And in the valley H6010 , Beth H1027 -aram , and Beth H1039 -nimrah , and Succoth H5523 , and Zaphon H6829 , the rest H3499 of the kingdom H4480 H4468 of Sihon H5511 king H4428 of Heshbon H2809 , Jordan H3383 and his border H1366 , even unto H5704 the edge H7097 of the sea H3220 of Chinnereth H3672 on the other side H5676 Jordan H3383 eastward H4217 .

28. זֹאת נַחֲלַת בְּנֵי־גָד לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם הֶעָרִים וְחַצְרֵיהֶם ׃
|
28. This H2063 is the inheritance H5159 of the children H1121 of Gad H1410 after their families H4940 , the cities H5892 , and their villages H2691 .
|
|
29. וַיִּתֵּן מֹשֶׁה לַחֲצִי שֵׁבֶט מְנַשֶּׁה וַיְהִי לַחֲצִי מַטֵּה בְנֵי־מְנַשֶּׁה לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָם ׃
|
29. And Moses H4872 gave H5414 inheritance unto the half H2677 tribe H7626 of Manasseh H4519 : and this was H1961 the possession of the half H2677 tribe H4294 of the children H1121 of Manasseh H4519 by their families H4940 .

|
30. וַיְהִי גְבוּלָם מִמַּחֲנַיִם כָּל־הַבָּשָׁן כָּל־מַמְלְכוּת עוֹג מֶלֶךְ־הַבָּשָׁן וְכָל־חַוֹּת יָאִיר אֲשֶׁר בַּבָּשָׁן שִׁשִּׁים עִיר ׃
|
30. And their coast H1366 was H1961 from Mahanaim H4480 H4266 , all H3605 Bashan H1316 , all H3605 the kingdom H4468 of Og H5747 king H4428 of Bashan H1316 , and all H3605 the towns H2333 of Jair H2971 , which H834 are in Bashan H1316 , threescore H8346 cities H5892 :

31. וַחֲצִי הַגִּלְעָד וְעַשְׁתָּרוֹת וְאֶדְרֶעִי עָרֵי מַמְלְכוּת עוֹג בַּבָּשָׁן לִבְנֵי מָכִיר בֶּן־מְנַשֶּׁה לַחֲצִי בְנֵי־מָכִיר לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָם ׃
|
31. And half H2677 Gilead H1568 , and Ashtaroth H6252 , and Edrei H154 , cities H5892 of the kingdom H4468 of Og H5747 in Bashan H1316 , were pertaining unto the children H1121 of Machir H4353 the son H1121 of Manasseh H4519 , even to the one half H2677 of the children H1121 of Machir H4353 by their families H4940 .

32. אֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר־נִחַל מֹשֶׁה בְּעַרְבוֹת מוֹאָב מֵעֵבֶר לְיַרְדֵּן יְרִיחוֹ מִזְרָחָה ׃ ס
|
32. These H428 are the countries which H834 Moses H4872 did distribute for inheritance H5157 in the plains H6160 of Moab H4124 , on the other side H4480 H5676 Jordan H3383 , by Jericho H3405 , eastward H4217 .

|
33. וּלְשֵׁבֶט הַלֵּוִי לֹא־נָתַן מֹשֶׁה נַחֲלָה יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הוּא נַחֲלָתָם כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר לָהֶם ׃
|
33. But unto the tribe H7626 of Levi H3878 Moses H4872 gave H5414 not H3808 any inheritance H5159 : the LORD H3068 God H430 of Israel H3478 was their inheritance H5159 , as H834 he said H1696 unto them.
