1 தேவனே, உமது வல்லமையான நாமத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தி என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும். உமது வல்லமையை பயன்படுத்தி என்னை விடுதலை யாக்கும்.
2 தேவன், என் ஜெபத்தைக்கேளும். நான் கூறும் காரியங்களைக் கேளும்.
3 தேவனை தொழுதுகொள்ளாத அந்நியர் கள் எனக்கு எதிராகத் திரும்புகிறார்கள். அந்த பலசாலிகள் என்னைக் கொல்ல முயல்கி றார்கள்.
4 பாருங்கள், என் தேவன் எனக்கு உதவு வார். என் ஆண்டவர் எனக்குத் துணை நிற்பார்.
5 எனக்கு எதிராகத் திரும்பியுள்ள ஜனங் களை என் தேவன் தண்டிப்பார். தேவன் எனக்கு உண்மையானவராக இருப்பார். அவர் அந்த ஜனங்களை அறவே அழிப்பார்.
6 தேவனே, நான் மனவிருப்பத்தின்படி காணிக் கைகளை உமக்குத் தருவேன். கர்த்தாவே, நான் உமது நாமத்தைத் துதிப்பேன்.
7 என் எல்லாத் தொல்லைகளிலுமிருந்து என்னை விடுவிக்கும்படி நான் உம்மை வேண் டுகிறேன். எனது பகைவர்கள் தோற்கடிக்கப் படுவதை நான் பார்க்கட்டும்.
