1 கர்த்தர் அரசர். அவர் மகத்துவத்தையும் வல்லமையையும் ஆடையைப்போல் அணிந்திருக்கிறார். அவர் ஆயத்தமாயிருப்பதால் உலகம் பாதுகாப்பாய் உள்ளது, அது அசைக்கப்படுவதில்லை.
2 தேவனே, உமது அரசு என்றென்றும் தொடருகிறது. தேவனே, நீர் என்றென்றைக்கும் வாழ்கிறீர்!
3 கர்த்தாவே, ஆறுகளின் ஒலி மிகுந்த இரைச் சலுடையது. மோதும் அலைகள் இரைச்சலெ ழுப்புகின்றன.
4 கடலின் மோதும் அலைகள் ஒலிமிகுந்து வல்லமை மிகுந்தவையாக உள்ளன. ஆனால் மேலேயுள்ள கர்த்தர் இன்னும் மிகுந்த வல்லமையுள்ளவர்.
5 கர்த்தாவே, உமது சட்டங்கள் என்றென்றும் தொடரும். உமது பரிசுத்த ஆலயம் வெகு காலம் நிலைநிற்கும்.
