10. ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಮಹತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ವರವು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯ ವರವು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವೇಚಿಸುವ ವರವು, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವ ವರವು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವ ವರವು ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.

13. ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಾಗಲಿ ಅನ್ಯರಾಗಲಿ ದಾಸರಾಗಲಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರರಾಗಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರು ಒಂದೇ ದೇಹವಾಗು ವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡೆವು; ಆ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಆತ್ಮನು ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಪಾನವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

21. ಕಣ್ಣು ಕೈಗೆ--ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ತಲೆಯು ಕಾಲು ಗಳಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಹೇಳುವದ ಕ್ಕಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

22. ಹೌದು, ಶರೀರದ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಬಹಳ ಬಲಹೀನವಾದವುಗಳೆಂದು ಕಂಡರೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅವಶ್ಯ ವಾಗಿವೆ.

23. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲ್ಪ ಮಾನವುಳ್ಳವುಗಳೆಂದು ನಾವು ಎಣಿಸುವ ದೇಹದ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆಗ ಅಂದವಿಲ್ಲದ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಂದವಾಗಿರುತ್ತವೆ.

24. ಅಂದವುಳ್ಳ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಯೂ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಕೊರತೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಅಂಗ ವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಹದವಾಗಿ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

28. ದೇವರು ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರನ್ನು, ಎರಡನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಮೂರನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಉಪದೇಶಕರನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆಮೇಲೆ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ವರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವದನ್ನೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವದನ್ನೂ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನಾ

29. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಉಪದೇಶಕರೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರೋ?

30. ವಾಸಿ ಮಾಡುವ ವರಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಉಂಟೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವರೋ? ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೇಳುವರೋ?

31. ಆದರೆ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ವರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಉತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
