1 “એ દિવસે આકાશનું રાજ્ય દશ કુમારિકાઓ પોતાના વરને મળવા મશાલ લઈને નીકળી હોય તેના જેવું હશે.
2 એમાંથી પાંચ મૂર્ખ હતી. અને પાંચ વિચારશીલ હતી.
3 મૂર્ખ કુમારિકાઓ જ્યારે પોતાની મશાલો લઈને આવી ત્યારે તેમની સાથે વધારાનું તેલ લીધું નહિ.
4 વિચારશીલ કુમારિકાઓ પાસે તેમની મશાલો સાથે બરણીમાં વધારાનું તેલ હતું.
5 વરને આવતાં ઘણી વાર લાગી એટલામાં બધીજ કુમારિકાઓ થાકી ગઈ અને ઊંઘવા લાગી.
6 “મધ્યરાત્રીએ કોઈકે જાહેરાત કરી કે, ‘વરરાજા આવી રહ્યો છે! તો ચાલો આપણે તેને મળવા જઈએ!”
7 “પછી બધી જ કુમારિકાઓ જાગી ગઈ ને પોતાની મશાલો તૈયાર કરી.
8 પણ મૂર્ખ કુમારિકાઓએ વિચારશીલ કુમારિકાઓને કહ્યું: ‘અમને તમારું થોડું તેલ આપો. અમારી મશાલો હોલવાઈ જાય છે.’
9 “સમજુ કુમારિકાઓએ કહ્યું, ‘ના! કદાચ અમારી પાસે જે તેલ છે તે તમને તથા અમને પુરું નહિ પડે માટે તમે તેલ વેચનારા પાસે જાઓ અને પોતપોતાના માટે થોડું ખરીદી લાવો.’
10 “તેથી તે કુમારિકાઓ તેલ ખરીદવા ગઈ. એટલામાં વરરાજા આવી પહોંચ્યો. જે કુમારિકાઓ તૈયાર હતી, તેઓ તેની જોડે લગ્નનાં જમણમાં પહોંચી ગઈ અને પછી બારણાં બંધ કરવામાં આવ્યાં.
11 “પછી પેલી બીજી કુમારિકાઓ આવી અને બહાર ઊભી રહીને કહેવા લાગી, ‘સ્વામી, હે સ્વામી, બારણાં ઉઘાડો અને અમને અંદર આવવા દો.’
12 “પણ વરરાજાએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, ‘હું તમને સત્ય કહું છું, હું તમને જાણતો નથી.’
13 “તેથી હંમેશા તૈયાર રહો, તમને ખબર નથી, માણસનો દીકરો ક્યા દિવસે અને ક્યા સમયે આવશે.
14 “આકાશનું રાજ્ય એવી વ્યક્તિ જેવું છે કે કોઈ વ્યક્તિ બીજા દેશના પ્રવાસે જતી વખતે તેના નોકરોને બોલાવીને કહે છે કે આ મારી સંપત્તિ, હું જાઉ તે દરમ્યાન તમે સાચવજો.
15 તેણે એકને ચાંદીના સિક્કા ભરેલી પાંચ થેલીઓ આપી, બીજાને બે અને ત્રીજા ને એક, તેણે દરેકને તેમની શક્તિ અનુસાર આપી; પ્રવાસ કરવા ચાલી નીકળ્યો.
16 જેને ચાંદીના સિક્કાની પાંચ થેલીઓ આપી હતી તે ત્યાંથી ચાલી નીકળ્યો અને એણે તરત જ તે પૈસાનું બીજે રોકાણ કર્યુ. અને બીજી પાંચ થેલી કમાયો.
17 જેને બે થેલીઓ મળી હતી તેણે પણ બીજે રોકાણ કયું અને બે થેલી કમાઈ લીધી.
18 પણ જે નોકરને એક જ થેલી આપી હતી તે ગયો અને જમીનમાં ખાડો ખોદી પોતાના ધણીના પૈસાની થેલી જમીનમાં દાટી દીઘી.
19 “ઘણા સમય પછી તે ધણી પાછો આવ્યો અને નોકરોને પૂછયું કે તેઓએ તેના પૈસાનું શું કર્યુ.
20 જેને પાંચ થેલી આપવામાં આવી તેણે બીજી વધારાની પાંચ થેલી લાવી તેના ધણીને આપી અને કહ્યું, ‘તેં મારા પર વિશ્વાસ મૂક્યો તેથી તે પાંચ થેલીઓનો બીજી પાંચ થેલીઓ કમાવવા મેં ઉપયોગ કર્યો.’
21 “ધણીએ કહ્યું, ‘તું ખૂબ સારો વિશ્વાસ રાખવા લાયક નોકર છે. તેં થોડા પૈસાનો સારો ઉપયોગ કર્યો છે, તેથી હું તને આના કરતાં પણ વધારે વસ્તુ સાચવવા આપીશ. આવ, અને મારા સુખનો ભાગીદાર બન.’
22 “પછી જેને બે થેલીઓ આપવામાં આવી હતી, તે ધણી પાસે આવ્યો અને નોકરે કહ્યું, ‘ધણી તેં મને બે થેલી ભરેલા પૈસા આપ્યા હતા, મેં આ બંને થેલીના પૈસાનો ઉપયોગ કર્યો છે અને હું બીજી બે થેલીઓ વધારે કમાયો છું.’
23 “ધણીએ કહ્યું, ‘તેં બરાબર કર્યુ છે. તું ખૂબજ સારો નોકર છે અને તું વિશ્વાસ રાખવા લાયક છે. તેં થોડા પૈસાનો ખૂબ સારો ઉપયોગ કર્યો એટલે હું તને આનાં કરતા પણ વધારે અધિકાર આપીશ, આવ અને મારી સાથે સુખમાં ભાગીદાર થા.’
24 “પછી જેને એક થેલી આપવામાં આવી હતી, તે નોકર ધણી પાસે આવ્યો અને ધણીને કહ્યું, “હું જાણું છું કે તું ખૂબજ કડક માણસ છે. તેણે કહ્યું, ‘જ્યાં તેં નથી વાવ્યું ત્યાંથી પાક લણનાર, અને જ્યાં તેં નથી વેર્યુ, ત્યાંથી એકઠું કરનાર છે.
25 તેથી મને ખૂબજ બીક લાગી અને તારી પૈસાની થેલી લઈને હું ગયો અને જમીનમાં સંતાડી દીધી. તેં મને જે ચાંદીના સિક્કાની થેલી આપી હતી, તે પાછી લે.’
26 “ધણીએ કહ્યું, ‘તું દુષ્ટ અને આળસુ નોકર છે! તું કહે છે, ‘જ્યાં મેં નથી વાવ્યું ત્યાંથી હું પાક લણું છું અને જ્યાં નથી વેર્યુ ત્યાંથી એકઠું કરું છું.’
27 તો મારું ધન તેં બેન્કમાં કેમ ન મૂકયું? જો બેન્કમાં પૈસા મૂક્યાં હોત તો મને વ્યાજ સાથે પાછા મળત.’
28 “તેથી ઘણીએ બીજા નોકરોને કહ્યું આની પાસેથી પૈસાની એક થેલી લઈ લો અને જેની પાસે દશ થેલી છે તેને આપી દો.
29 દરેક વ્યક્તિની પોતાની પાસે જે છે તેનો તે યોગ્ય ઉપયોગ કરશે તો તેને વધુ આપવામાં આવશે. અને જેને તેની જરુંરિયાત છે તેનાથી પણ અધિક પ્રાપ્ત કરશે અને જેની પાસે છે, તેનો યોગ્ય ઉપયોગ નહિ કરે તો તેની પાસેથી બધું જ છીનવી લેવામાં આવશે.
30 તેથી ધણીએ કહ્યું, ‘આ નકામા નોકરને બહારના અંધકારમાં ફેંકી દો જ્યાં લોકોરૂદન કરે છે અને દાંત પીસે છે.’
31 “માણસનો દીકરો ફરીથી આવશે. તે ભવ્ય મહિમા સાથે તેના બધાજ દૂતો સાથે આવશે અને તે રાજા તરીકે મહિમાના રાજ્યાસન પર બીરાજશે.
32 વિશ્વના બધાજ લોકો માણસના દીકરાની આગળ ભેગા થશે. માણસનો દીકરો પછી બધાજ લોકોને બે ભાગમાં વહેંચી નાખશે. જેમ ઘેટાંપાળક ઘેંટા બકરાંને જુદા પાડે છે.
33 માણસનો દીકરો ઘેટાંને (સારા લોકો) પોતાની જમણી બાજુ મૂકશે અને બકરાંને (ખરાબ લોકો) ડાબી બાજુ રાખશે.
34 “પછી તે રાજા, જમણી બાજુ બેસનારા સારા માણસોને કહેશે, આવો, મારા બાપના આશીર્વાદિતો આવો, અને જે રાજ્ય જગતનો પાયો નાખતા પહેલા તમારા માટે અગાઉથી જ તૈયાર કરવામાં આવ્યુ છે તે પ્રાપ્ત કરો.
35 તમને આ રાજ્ય મળ્યું છે કારણ હું ભૂખ્યો હતો ત્યારે તમે મને ખાવાનું આપ્યું હતું, તરસ્યો હતો ત્યારે તમે મને કાંઈક પીવા આપ્યું હતું. અને જ્યારે હું એકલો ભટકતો હતો ત્યારે તમે મને ઘેર બોલાવ્યો હતો.
36 હું વસ્ત્ર વગરનો હતો ત્યારે તમે મને કાંઈક પહેરવાં આપ્યું હતું. હું માંદો હતો ત્યારે તમે મારી ચાકરી કરી હતી, હું કારાવાસમાં હતો, ત્યારે તમે મને મળવા આવ્યા હતા.’
37 “પછી સારા માણસો ઉત્તર આપશે, ‘પ્રભુ, અમે ક્યારે તને ભૂખ્યો જોયો અને ભોજન આપ્યું? અમે ક્યારે તને તરસ્યો જોયો અને તને કાંઈક પીવા આપ્યું?
38 અમે તને ક્યારે એકલો જોયો અને ઘરથી દૂર ફરતા જોયો? અને અમે તને અમારે ઘેર ક્યારે બોલાવ્યો? અમે તને વસ્ત્ર વગર ક્યારે જોયો અને તને કોઈક વસ્ત્ર પહેરવા આપ્યું?
39 અમે તને ક્યારે માંદો જોયો? અમે તને ક્યારે કારાવાસમાં જોયો અને તારી મુલાકાત લીધી?”
40 “પછી રાજા ઉત્તર આપશે, ‘હું તમને સત્ય કહું છું. તમે મારા લોકોમાંના એકના માટે અહીં જે બધું કર્યુ તે બધું તમે મારા માટે જ કર્યુ.’
41 “પછી રાજા તેની ડાબી બાજુ બેઠેલા માણસોને કહેશે. મારી પાસેથી જે અગ્નિ સદાને માટે સળગે છે ત્યાં ચાલ્યા જાઓ. તમે શ્રાપિત છો, શેતાન તથા તેના દૂતો માટે જે સર્વકાલિક અગ્નિ તૈયાર કરેલો છે તેમાં પડો અને,
42 આજ તમારી સજા છે. કારણ હું ભૂખ્યો હતો ત્યારે તમે મને કશું જ ખાવાનું આપ્યું નહોતું અને જ્યારે હું તરસ્યો હતો ત્યારે તમે મને કાંઈ પીવા આપ્યું નહોતું.
43 હું જ્યારે ઘરતી દૂર હતો અને ફરતો હતો, ત્યારે તમે મને ઘરમાં બોલાવ્યો નહોતો. વસ્ત્ર વગર નગ્ન હતો, પરંતુ તમે મને વસ્ત્ર પહેરવા આપ્યા નહોતા. હું બિમાર હતો અને કારાવાસ ભોગવતો હતો ત્યારે તમે મારી સેવા કરી નહોતી.’
44 “પછી લોકો પણ ઉત્તરમાં પૂછશે, ‘હે પ્રભુ, અમે તને ભૂખ્યો, તરસ્યો, એકલો, વસ્ત્ર વગર, બિમાર અથવા બંદી ક્યારે જોયો? અને અમે તને મદદ ના કરી?’
45 “પછી રાજા ઉત્તરમાં કહેશે, ‘હું તમને સત્ય કહું છું, કે તમે અહીં મારા લોકોમાંના કોઈને પણ ના પાડી તે મને ના પાડી બરાબર છે.’
46 “પછી તે દુષ્ટ માણસો ત્યાંથી ચાલ્યા જશે અને તેઓને સદાને માટે સજા થશે. અને પછી સારા લોકો અનંતજીવનમાં જતા રહેશે.”

2 And G1161 CONJ five G4002 A-NUI of G1537 PREP them G846 P-GPF were G2258 V-IXI-3P wise G5429 A-NPF , and G2532 CONJ five G4002 A-NUI were foolish G3474 A-NPF .
3 They that G3748 R-NPF were foolish G3474 A-NPF took G2983 V-2AAP-NPF their G3588 T-APF lamps G2985 N-APF , and took G2983 V-2AAI-3P no G3756 PRT-N oil G1637 N-ASN with G3326 PREP them G1438 F-3GPM :
4 But G1161 CONJ the G3588 T-NPF wise G5429 A-NPF took G2983 V-2AAI-3P oil G1637 N-ASN in G1722 PREP their G3588 T-DPN vessels G30 N-DPN with G3326 PREP their G3588 T-GPF lamps G2985 N-GPF .
5 While G1161 CONJ the G3588 T-GSM bridegroom G3566 N-GSM tarried G5549 V-PAP-GSM , they all G3956 A-NPF slumbered G3573 V-AAI-3P and G2532 CONJ slept G2518 V-IAI-3P .
6 And G1161 CONJ at midnight G3319 A-GSF there was a cry G2906 N-NSF made G1096 V-2RAI-3S , Behold G2400 V-2AAM-2S , the G3588 T-NSM bridegroom G3566 N-NSM cometh G2064 V-PNI-3S ; go ye out G1831 V-PNM-2P to meet G1519 PREP him G846 P-GSM .
7 Then G5119 ADV all G3956 A-NPF those G3588 T-NPF virgins G3933 N-NPF arose G1453 V-API-3P , and G2532 CONJ trimmed G2885 V-AAI-3P their G3588 T-APF lamps G2985 N-APF .
8 And G1161 CONJ the G3588 T-NPF foolish G3474 A-NPF said G2036 V-2AAI-3P unto the G3588 T-DPF wise G5429 A-DPF , Give G1325 V-2AAM-2P us G2254 P-1DP of G1537 PREP your G3588 T-GSN oil G1637 N-GSN ; for G3754 CONJ our G3588 T-NPF lamps G2985 N-NPF are gone out G4570 V-PPI-3P .
9 But G1161 CONJ the G3588 T-NPF wise G5429 A-NPF answered G611 V-ADI-3P , saying G3004 V-PAP-NPF , Not so ; lest G3379 ADV there be not enough G714 V-AAS-3S for us G2254 P-1DP and G2532 CONJ you G5213 P-2DP : but G1161 CONJ go G4198 V-PNM-2P ye rather G3123 ADV to G4314 PREP them that sell G4453 V-PAP-APM , and G2532 CONJ buy G59 V-AAM-2P for yourselves G1438 F-3DPF .
10 And G1161 CONJ while they G846 P-GPF went G565 V-PNP-GPF to buy G59 V-AAN , the G3588 T-NSM bridegroom G3566 N-NSM came G2064 V-2AAI-3S ; and G2532 CONJ they that were ready G2092 A-NPF went in G1525 V-2AAI-3P with G3326 PREP him G846 P-GSM to G1519 PREP the G3588 T-APM marriage G1062 N-APM : and G2532 CONJ the G3588 T-NSF door G2374 N-NSF was shut G2808 V-API-3S .
11 Afterward G5305 ADV came G2064 V-PNI-3P also G2532 CONJ the G3588 T-NPF other G3062 A-NPF virgins G3933 N-NPF , saying G3004 V-PAP-NPF , Lord G2962 N-VSM , Lord G2962 N-VSM , open G455 V-AAM-2S to us G2254 P-1DP .
12 But G1161 CONJ he G3588 T-NSM answered G611 V-AOP-NSM and said G2036 V-2AAI-3S , Verily G281 HEB I say G3004 V-PAI-1S unto you G5213 P-2DP , I know G1492 V-RAI-1S you G5209 P-2AP not G3756 PRT-N .
13 Watch G1127 V-PAM-2P therefore G3767 CONJ , for G3754 CONJ ye know G1492 V-RAI-2P neither G3756 PRT-N the G3588 T-ASF day G2250 N-ASF nor G3761 ADV the G3588 T-ASF hour G5610 N-ASF wherein G1722 PREP the G3588 T-NSM Son G5207 N-NSM of man G444 N-GSM cometh G2064 V-PNI-3S .
14 For G1063 CONJ the kingdom of heaven is as G5618 ADV a man G444 N-NSM traveling into a far country G589 V-PAP-NSM , who G3588 T-APM called G2564 V-AAI-3S his own G2398 A-APM servants G1401 N-APM , and G2532 CONJ delivered G3860 V-AAI-3S unto them G846 P-DPM his G3588 T-APN goods G5224 V-PAP-APN .
15 And G2532 CONJ unto one G3739 R-DSM he gave G1325 V-AAI-3S five G4002 A-NUI talents G5007 N-APN , to G1161 CONJ another G3739 R-DSM two G1417 A-NUI , and G1161 CONJ to another G3739 R-DSM one G1520 A-ASN ; to every man G1538 A-DSM according G2596 PREP to his several G2398 A-ASF ability G1411 N-ASF ; and G2532 CONJ straightway G2112 ADV took his journey G589 V-AAI-3S .
16 Then G1161 CONJ he that had received G2983 V-2AAP-NSM the G3588 T-APN five G4002 A-NUI talents G5007 N-APN went G4198 V-AOP-NSM and G2532 CONJ traded G2038 V-ADI-3S with G1722 PREP the same G846 P-DPN , and G2532 CONJ made G4160 V-AAI-3S them other G243 A-APN five G4002 A-NUI talents G5007 N-APN .
17 And G2532 CONJ likewise G5615 ADV he G3588 T-NSM that had received two G1417 A-NUI , he G846 P-NSM also G2532 CONJ gained G2770 V-AAI-3S other G243 A-APN two G1417 A-NUI .
18 But G1161 CONJ he G3588 T-ASN that G3588 T-ASN had received G2983 V-2AAP-NSM one G1520 A-ASN went G565 V-2AAP-NSM and digged G3736 V-AAI-3S in G1722 PREP the G3588 T-DSF earth G1093 N-DSF , and G2532 CONJ hid G613 V-AAI-3S his G3588 T-GSM lord G2962 N-GSM \'s money G694 N-ASN .
19 After G3326 PREP a long G4183 A-ASM time G5550 N-ASM the G3588 T-NSM lord G2962 N-NSM of G3588 T-GPM those G3588 T-GPM servants G1401 N-GPM cometh G2064 V-PNI-3S , and G2532 CONJ reckoneth G4868 V-PAI-3S with G3326 PREP them G846 P-GPM .
20 And G2532 CONJ so he G3588 T-APN that G3588 T-APN had received G2983 V-2AAP-NSM five G4002 A-NUI talents G5007 N-APN came G4334 V-2AAP-NSM and brought G4374 V-AAI-3S other G243 A-APN five G4002 A-NUI talents G5007 N-APN , saying G3004 V-PAP-NSM , Lord G2962 N-VSM , thou deliveredst G3860 V-AAI-2S unto me G3427 P-1DS five G4002 A-NUI talents G5007 N-APN : behold G2396 , I have gained G2770 V-AAI-1S beside G1909 PREP them G846 P-DPN five G4002 A-NUI talents G5007 N-APN more G243 A-APN .
21 His G3588 T-NSM lord G2962 N-NSM said G5346 V-IXI-3S unto him G846 P-GSM , Well done G2095 ADV , thou good G18 A-VSM and G2532 CONJ faithful G4103 A-VSM servant G1401 N-VSM : thou hast been G2258 V-IXI-2S faithful G4103 A-NSM over G1909 PREP a few things G3641 A-APN , I will make thee ruler G2525 V-FAI-1S over G1909 PREP many things G4183 A-GPN : enter G1525 V-2AAM-2S thou into G1519 PREP the G3588 T-ASF joy G5479 N-ASF of G3588 T-GSM thy G3588 T-GSM lord G2962 N-GSM .
22 He G3588 T-APN also that G3588 T-APN had received G2983 V-2AAP-NSM two G1417 A-NUI talents G5007 N-APN came G4334 V-2AAP-NSM and said G2036 V-2AAI-3S , Lord G2962 N-VSM , thou deliveredst G3860 V-AAI-2S unto me G3427 P-1DS two G1417 A-NUI talents G5007 N-APN : behold G2396 , I have gained G2770 V-AAI-1S two G1417 A-NUI other G243 A-APN talents G5007 N-APN beside G1909 PREP them G846 P-DPN .
23 His G3588 T-NSM lord G2962 N-NSM said G5346 V-IXI-3S unto him G846 P-GSM , Well done G2095 ADV , good G18 A-VSM and G2532 CONJ faithful G4103 A-VSM servant G1401 N-VSM ; thou hast been G2258 V-IXI-2S faithful G4103 A-NSM over G1909 PREP a few things G3641 A-APN , I will make thee ruler G2525 V-FAI-1S over G1909 PREP many things G4183 A-GPN : enter G1525 V-2AAM-2S thou into G1519 PREP the G3588 T-ASF joy G5479 N-ASF of G3588 T-GSM thy G3588 T-GSM lord G2962 N-GSM .
24 Then G1161 CONJ he which had received G2983 V-RAP-NSM the G3588 T-ASN one G1520 A-ASN talent G5007 N-ASN came G2532 CONJ and said G2036 V-2AAI-3S , Lord G2962 N-VSM , I knew G1097 V-2AAI-1S thee G4571 P-2AS that G3754 CONJ thou art G1488 V-PXI-2S a hard G4642 A-NSM man G444 N-NSM , reaping G2325 V-PAP-NSM where G3699 ADV thou hast not G3756 PRT-N sown G4687 V-AAI-2S , and G2532 CONJ gathering G4863 V-PAP-NSM where G3606 ADV thou hast not G3756 PRT-N strewed G1287 V-AAI-2S :
25 And G2532 CONJ I was afraid G5399 V-AOP-NSM , and went G565 V-2AAP-NSM and hid G2928 V-AAI-1S thy G3588 T-ASN talent G5007 N-ASN in G1722 PREP the G3588 T-DSF earth G1093 N-DSF : lo G2396 , there thou hast G2192 V-PAI-2S that G3588 T-ASN is thine G4674 S-2ASN .
26 His G3588 T-NSM lord G2962 N-NSM answered G611 V-AOP-NSM and said G2036 V-2AAI-3S unto him G846 P-DSM , Thou wicked G4190 A-VSM and G2532 CONJ slothful G3636 A-VSM servant G1401 N-VSM , thou knewest G1492 V-LAI-2S that G3754 CONJ I reap G2325 V-PAI-1S where G3699 ADV I sowed G4687 V-AAI-1S not G3756 PRT-N , and G2532 CONJ gather G4863 V-PAI-1S where G3606 ADV I have not G3756 PRT-N strewed G1287 V-AAI-1S :
27 Thou G4571 P-2AS oughtest G1163 V-IQI-3S therefore G3767 CONJ to have put G906 V-2AAN my G3588 T-ASN money G694 N-ASN to the G3588 T-DPM exchangers G5133 N-DPM , and G2532 CONJ then at my coming G2064 V-2AAP-NSM I G1473 P-1NS should have received G2865 V-AMI-1S mine own G1699 S-1ASN with G4862 PREP usury G5110 N-DSM .
28 Take G142 V-AAM-2P therefore G3767 CONJ the G3588 T-ASN talent G5007 N-ASN from G575 PREP him G846 P-GSM , and G2532 CONJ give G1325 V-2AAM-2P it unto him G3588 T-APN which G3588 T-APN hath G2192 V-PAP-DSM ten G1176 A-NUI talents G5007 N-APN .
