21 പിന്നെ യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവു പുറപ്പെട്ടു കുതിരകളെയും രഥങ്ങളെയും പിടിച്ചു; അരാമ്യരെ കഠിനമായി തോല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

22 അതിന്റെ ശേഷം ആ പ്രവാചകൻ യിസ്രായേൽ രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടു: ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടു ചെന്നു നീ ചെയ്യുന്നതു കരുതിക്കൊൾക; ഇനിയത്തെ ആണ്ടിൽ അരാംരാജാവു നിന്റെ നേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

27 യിസ്രായേല്യരെയും എണ്ണിനോക്കി; അവർ ഭക്ഷണപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ എടുത്തു അവരുടെ നേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; യിസ്രായേല്യർ ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടികളുടെ രണ്ടു ചെറിയ കൂട്ടംപോലെ അവരുടെ നേരെ പാളയം ഇറങ്ങി; അരാമ്യരോ ദേശത്തു നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.
