2 നിങ്ങള്‍ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുവാന്‍ പോകുന്ന ജാതികള്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്ന പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങളിന്‍ മേലും കുന്നുകളിന്‍ മേലും എല്ലാപച്ചമരത്തിന്‍ കീഴിലും തങ്ങളുടെ ദേവന്മാരെ സേവിച്ച സ്ഥലങ്ങളൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ അശേഷം നശിപ്പിക്കേണം.

3 അവരുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങള്‍ ഇടിച്ചുകളയേണം; അവരുടെ ബിംബങ്ങളെ തകര്‍ക്കേണം; അവരുടെ അശേരപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെ തീയില്‍ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അവരുടെ ദേവപ്രതിമകളെ വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു അവയുടെ പേര്‍ ആ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കേണം.

4 നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ആ വിധത്തില്‍ സേവിക്കേണ്ടതല്ല.

5 നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തന്റെ നാമം സ്ഥാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലഗോത്രങ്ങളിലുംവെച്ചു തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു നിങ്ങള്‍ തിരുനിവാസദര്‍ശനത്തിന്നായി ചെല്ലേണം.

6 അവിടെ തന്നേ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്‍, ഹനന യാഗങ്ങള്‍, ദശാംശങ്ങള്‍, നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിലെ ഉദര്‍ച്ചാര്‍പ്പണങ്ങള്‍, നിങ്ങളുടെ നേര്‍ച്ചകള്‍, സ്വമേധാദാനങ്ങള്‍, നിങ്ങളുടെ ആടുമാടുകളുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകള്‍ എന്നിവയെ നിങ്ങള്‍ കൊണ്ടുചെല്ലേണം.

7 അവിടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില്‍വെച്ചു നിങ്ങള്‍ ഭക്ഷിക്കയും നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലപ്രവൃത്തിയിലും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ കടുംബങ്ങളും സന്തോഷിക്കയുംവേണം.

8 നാം ഇന്നു ഇവിടെ ഔരോരുത്തന്‍ താന്താന്നു ബോധിച്ചപ്രകാരം ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്യരുതു.

9 നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തരുന്ന സ്വസ്ഥതെക്കും അവകാശത്തിന്നും നിങ്ങള്‍ ഇതുവരെ എത്തീട്ടില്ലല്ലോ.

10 എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ യോര്‍ദ്ദാന്‍ കടന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അവകാശമായി തരുന്ന ദേശത്തു വസിക്കയും ചുറ്റുമുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും അവന്‍ നീക്കി നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു സ്വസ്ഥത തരികയും നിങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍ഭയമായി വസിക്കയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍

11 നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തന്റെ നാമം സ്ഥാപിപ്പാന്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്‍, ഹനനയാഗങ്ങള്‍, ദശാംശങ്ങള്‍, നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിലെ ഉദര്‍ച്ചാര്‍പ്പണങ്ങള്‍, നിങ്ങള്‍ യഹോവേക്കു നേരുന്ന വിശേഷമായ നേര്‍ച്ചകള്‍ എല്ലാം എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

12 നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില്‍ നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദാസന്മാരും ദാസിമാരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളില്‍ ഉള്ള ലേവ്യനും സന്തോഷിക്കേണം; അവന്നു നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഔഹരിയും അവകാശവും ഇല്ലല്ലോ.

13 നിനക്കു ബോധിക്കുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും നിന്റെ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്‍ കഴിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍ക.

14 യഹോവ നിന്റെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളില്‍ ഒന്നില്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു നീ നിന്റെ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്‍ കഴിക്കേണം; ഞാന്‍ നിന്നോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നീ ചെയ്യേണം.

15 എന്നാല്‍ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന അനുഗ്രഹത്തിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ ഏതു പട്ടണത്തില്‍വെച്ചും നിന്റെ മനസ്സിലെ ആഗ്രഹപ്രകാരമൊക്കെയും അറുത്തു മാംസം തിന്നാം; അതു കലമാനിനെയും പുള്ളിമാനിനെയും പോലെ ശുദ്ധന്നും അശുദ്ധന്നും തിന്നാം; രക്തം മാത്രം നിങ്ങള്‍ തിന്നരുതു;

16 അതു വെള്ളംപോലെ നിറത്തു ഒഴിച്ചുകളയേണം.

17 എന്നാല്‍ നിന്റെ ധാന്യം, വീഞ്ഞു, എണ്ണ എന്നിവയുടെ ദശാംശം, നിന്റെ ആടുമാടുകളുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകള്‍, നീ നേരുന്ന എല്ലാ നേര്‍ച്ചകള്‍, നിന്റെ സ്വമേധാദാനങ്ങള്‍ നിന്റെ കയ്യിലെ ഉദര്‍ച്ചാര്‍പ്പണങ്ങള്‍ എന്നിവയെ നിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങളില്‍വെച്ചു തിന്നുകൂടാ.

18 നീ ഭൂമിയില്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്നേടത്തോളം ലേവ്യനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍ക.

19 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവന്‍ നിന്റെ അതിര്‍ വിശാലമാക്കുമ്പോള്‍ നീ മാംസം തിന്മാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചിട്ടുഎനിക്കു മാംസം തിന്നേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ നിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ ഒക്കെയും നിനക്കു മാംസം തിന്നാം.

20 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തന്റെ നാമം സ്ഥാപിപ്പാന്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത സ്ഥലം ഏറെ ദൂരത്താകുന്നു എങ്കില്‍ യഹോവ നിനക്കു തന്നിട്ടുള്ള നിന്റെ ആടുമാടുകളില്‍ ഏതിനെ എങ്കിലും ഞാന്‍ നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അറുക്കുകയും നിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങളില്‍വെച്ചു നിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ ഒക്കെയും തിന്നുകയും ചെയ്യാം.

21 കലമാനിനെയും പുള്ളിമാനിനെയും തിന്നുന്നതുപോലെ നിനക്കു അവയെ തിന്നാം; ശുദ്ധന്നും അശുദ്ധന്നും ഒരുപോലെ തിന്നാം.

22 രക്തം മാത്രം തിന്നാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ നിഷ്ഠയായിരിക്ക; രക്തം ജീവന്‍ ആകുന്നുവല്ലോ; മാംസത്തോടുകൂടെ ജീവനെ തിന്നരുതു.

23 അതിനെ നീ തിന്നാതെ വെള്ളംപോലെ നിലത്തു ഒഴിച്ചുകളയേണം.

24 യഹോവേക്കു ഹിതമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തിട്ടു നിനക്കും മക്കള്‍ക്കും നന്നായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അതിനെ തിന്നരുതു.

25 നിന്റെ പക്കലുള്ള വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളും നിന്റെ നേര്‍ച്ചകളും മാത്രം നീ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു പോകേണം.

26 അവിടെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല്‍ നിന്റെ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങള്‍ മാംസത്തോടും രക്തത്തോടും കൂടെ അര്‍പ്പിക്കേണം; നിന്റെ ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളുടെ രക്തം നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല്‍ ഒഴിക്കേണം; അതിന്റെ മാംസം നിനക്കു തിന്നാം.

27 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഹിതവും ഉത്തമവുമാക്കുന്ന ഈ സകലവചനങ്ങളും കേട്ടു പ്രമാണിക്ക.

28 നീ കൈവശമാക്കുവാന്‍ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തുള്ള ജാതികളെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയുമ്പോഴും നീ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു അവരുടെ ദേശത്തു പാര്‍ക്കുംമ്പോഴും

29 അവര്‍ നിന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍നിന്നു നശിച്ചശേഷം നീ അവരുടെ നടപടി അനുസരിച്ചു കണിയില്‍ അകപ്പെടുകയും ഈ ജാതികള്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ദേവന്മാരെ സേവിച്ചവിധം ഞാനും ചെയ്യുമെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു അന്വേഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം.

30 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ അങ്ങനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടതല്ല; യഹോവ വെറുക്കുന്ന സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതയും അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ദേവപൂജയില്‍ ചെയ്തു തങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രിപുത്രന്മാരെപ്പോലും അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ദേവന്മാര്‍ക്കും അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിച്ചു വല്ലോ.

13 Take heed ^H8104 to thyself that ^H6435 thou offer ^H5927 not thy burnt offerings ^H5930 in every ^H3605 place ^H4725 that ^H834 thou seest: ^H7200

14 But ^H3588 ^H518 in the place ^H4725 which ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 shall choose ^H977 in one ^H259 of thy tribes, ^H7626 there ^H8033 thou shalt offer ^H5927 thy burnt offerings, ^H5930 and there ^H8033 thou shalt do ^H6213 all ^H3605 that ^H834 I ^H595 command ^H6680 thee.

15 Notwithstanding ^H7535 thou mayest kill ^H2076 and eat ^H398 flesh ^H1320 in all ^H3605 thy gates, ^H8179 whatsoever ^H3605 thy soul ^H5315 lusteth after, ^H185 according to the blessing ^H1293 of the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 which ^H834 he hath given ^H5414 thee : the unclean ^H2931 and the clean ^H2889 may eat ^H398 thereof , as of the roebuck, ^H6643 and as of the hart. ^H354

16 Only ^H7535 ye shall not ^H3808 eat ^H398 the blood; ^H1818 ye shall pour ^H8210 it upon ^H5921 the earth ^H776 as water. ^H4325

17 Thou mayest ^H3201 not ^H3808 eat ^H398 within thy gates ^H8179 the tithe ^H4643 of thy corn, ^H1715 or of thy wine, ^H8492 or of thy oil, ^H3323 or the firstlings ^H1062 of thy herds ^H1241 or of thy flock, ^H6629 nor any ^H3605 of thy vows ^H5088 which ^H834 thou vowest, ^H5087 nor thy freewill offerings, ^H5071 or heave offering ^H8641 of thine hand: ^H3027

18 But ^H3588 ^H518 thou must eat ^H398 them before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 in the place ^H4725 which ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 shall choose, ^H977 thou, ^H859 and thy son, ^H1121 and thy daughter, ^H1323 and thy manservant, ^H5650 and thy maidservant, ^H519 and the Levite ^H3881 that ^H834 is within thy gates: ^H8179 and thou shalt rejoice ^H8055 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 in all ^H3605 that thou puttest ^H4916 thine hands ^H3027 unto.

19 Take heed ^H8104 to thyself that thou forsake not ^H6435 ^H5800 ^H853 the Levite ^H3881 as long as thou livest ^H3605 ^H3117 upon ^H5921 the earth. ^H127

22 Even ^H389 as ^H834 ^H853 the roebuck ^H6643 and the hart ^H354 is eaten, ^H398 so ^H3651 thou shalt eat ^H398 them : the unclean ^H2931 and the clean ^H2889 shall eat ^H398 of them alike. ^H3162

29 When ^H3588 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 shall cut off ^H3772 ^H853 the nations ^H1471 from before ^H4480 ^H6440 thee, whither ^H834 ^H8033 thou ^H859 goest ^H935 to possess ^H3423 them , and thou succeedest ^H3423 them , and dwellest ^H3427 in their land; ^H776

30 Take heed ^H8104 to thyself that ^H6435 thou be not snared ^H5367 by following ^H310 them , after that ^H310 they be destroyed ^H8045 from before ^H4480 ^H6440 thee ; and that ^H6435 thou inquire ^H1875 not after their gods, ^H430 saying, ^H559 How ^H349 did these ^H428 nations ^H1471 serve ^H5647 ^H853 their gods ^H430 ? even so ^H3651 will I ^H589 do ^H6213 likewise. ^H1571
