2 ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനകളെ നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം. ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന വചനത്തോടു കൂട്ടുകയോ അതില്‍നിന്നു കുറെക്കയോ ചെയ്യരുതു.

3 ബാല്‍-പെയോരിന്റെ സംഗതിയില്‍ യഹോവ ചെയ്തതു നിങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ണാലെ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നുബാല്‍-പെയോരിനെ പിന്തുടര്‍ന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്‍നിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

4 എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു പറ്റിച്ചേര്‍ന്നിരുന്ന നിങ്ങള്‍ ഒക്കെയും ഇന്നു ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു.

5 നിങ്ങള്‍ കൈവശമാക്കുവാന്‍ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങള്‍ അനുസരിച്ചു നടപ്പാനായി എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും ഉപദേശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

6 അവയെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടപ്പിന്‍ ; ഇതു തന്നേയല്ലോ ജാതികളുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയില്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ ജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകവും ആയിരിക്കുന്നതു. അവര്‍ ഈ കല്പനകളൊക്കെയും കേട്ടിട്ടുഈ ശ്രേഷ്ഠജാതി ജ്ഞാനവും വിവേകവും ഉള്ള ജനം തന്നേ എന്നു പറയും.

7 നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു നാം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും അവന്‍ നമുക്കു അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ദൈവം ഇത്ര അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ശ്രേഷ്ഠജാതി ഏതുള്ളു?

8 ഞാന്‍ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പില്‍ വെക്കുന്ന ഈ സകലന്യായപ്രമാണവുംപോലെ ഇത്ര നീതിയുള്ള ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും ഉള്ള ശ്രേഷ്ഠജാതി ഏതുള്ളു?

9 കണ്ണാലെ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നീ മറക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലത്തൊരിക്കലും അവ നിന്റെ മനസ്സില്‍നിന്നു വിട്ടുപോകാതെയും ഇരിപ്പാന്‍ മാത്രം സൂക്ഷിച്ചു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ കാത്തുകൊള്‍ക; നിന്റെ മക്കളോടും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളോടും അവയെ ഉപദേശിക്കേണം.

10 വിശേഷാല്‍ ഹോരേബില്‍ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില്‍നിന്ന ദിവസത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടായ കാര്യം മറക്കരുതു. അന്നു യഹോവ എന്നോടുജനത്തെ എന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടുക; ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ വചനങ്ങള്‍ അവരെ കേള്‍പ്പിക്കും; അവര്‍ ഭൂമിയില്‍ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നാള്‍ ഒക്കെയും എന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന്‍ പഠിക്കയും തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ പഠിപ്പിക്കയും വേണം എന്നു കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

11 അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങള്‍ അടുത്തുവന്നു പര്‍വ്വതത്തിന്റെ അടിവാരത്തു നിന്നു; അന്ധകാരവും മേഘവും കൂരിരുളും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കെ പര്‍വ്വതം ആകാശ മദ്ധ്യത്തോളം തീ കാളിക്കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

12 യഹോവ തീയുടെ നടുവില്‍നിന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; നിങ്ങള്‍ വാക്കുകളുടെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു; ശബ്ദംമാത്രം കേട്ടതല്ലാതെ രൂപം ഒന്നും കണ്ടില്ല.

13 നിങ്ങള്‍ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ച തന്റെ നിയമമായ പത്തു കല്പന അവന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ അറിയിക്കയും രണ്ടു കല്പലകയില്‍ എഴുതുകയും ചെയ്തു.

14 നിങ്ങള്‍ കൈവശമാക്കുവാന്‍ കടന്നുചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങള്‍ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കേണ്ടുന്നതിന്നുള്ള ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശിക്കേണമെന്നു യഹോവ അക്കാലത്തു എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചു.

15 നിങ്ങള്‍ നന്നായി സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ ; യഹോവ ഹോരേബില്‍ തീയുടെ നടുവില്‍ നിന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത നാളില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ രൂപം ഒന്നും കണ്ടില്ലല്ലോ.

16 അതു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള്‍ ആണിന്റെയെങ്കിലും പെണ്ണിന്റെയെങ്കിലും സാദൃശ്യമോ,

17 ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള യാതൊരു മൃഗത്തിന്റെയും സാദൃശ്യമോ, ആകാശത്തു പറക്കുന്ന യാതൊരു പക്ഷിയുടെയും സാദൃശ്യമോ,

18 ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള യാതൊരു ഇഴജാതിയുടെയും സാദൃശ്യമോ, ഭൂമിക്കു കീഴെ വെള്ളത്തിലുള്ള യാതൊരു മത്സ്യത്തിന്റെയും സാദൃശ്യമോ, ഇങ്ങനെ യാതൊന്നിന്റെയും പ്രതിമയായ വിഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കി വഷളത്വം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കരുതു.

19 നീ ആകാശസൈന്യമായ സൂര്യനെയും ചന്ദ്രനെയും നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെയും നോക്കിക്കാണുമ്പോള്‍ അവയെ നമസ്കരിപ്പാനും സേവിപ്പാനും വശീകരിക്കപ്പെടരുതു; അവയെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകാശത്തിന്‍ കീഴെങ്ങുമുള്ള സര്‍വ്വജാതികള്‍ക്കും പങ്കിട്ടു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

20 നിങ്ങളെയോ ഇന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ തനിക്കു അവകാശ ജനമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീം എന്ന ഇരിമ്പുലയില്‍ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

21 എന്നാല്‍ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ നിമിത്തം എന്നോടു കോപിച്ചു; ഞാന്‍ യോര്‍ദ്ദാന്‍ കടക്കയില്ലെന്നും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു അവകാശമായി തരുന്ന നല്ല ദേശത്തില്‍ ഞാന്‍ ചെല്ലുകയില്ലെന്നും സത്യംചെയ്തു.

22 ആകയാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ യോര്‍ദ്ദാന്‍ കടക്കാതെ ഈ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു മരിക്കും; നിങ്ങളോ കടന്നു ചെന്നു ആ നല്ലദേശം കൈവശമാക്കും.

23 നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള അവന്റെ നിയമം നിങ്ങള്‍ മറന്നു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ വിരോധിച്ചതുപോലെ യാതൊന്നിന്റെയും സാദൃശ്യമായ വിഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ .

24 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിയല്ലോ; തീക്ഷണതയുള്ള ദൈവം തന്നേ.

25 നീ മക്കളെയും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു ദേശത്തു ഏറെക്കാലം പാര്‍ത്തു വഷളായിത്തീര്‍ന്നിട്ടു വല്ലതിന്റെയും സാദൃശ്യമായ വിഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കി നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു അവനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചാല്‍

26 നിങ്ങള്‍ കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യോര്‍ദ്ദാന്‍ കടന്നുചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍ വേഗത്തില്‍ നശിച്ചുപോകുമെന്നു ഞാന്‍ ഇന്നു ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു വിരോധമായി സാക്ഷിനിര്‍ത്തി പറയുന്നു; നിങ്ങള്‍ അവിടെ ദീര്‍ഘായുസ്സോടിരിക്കാതെ നിര്‍മ്മൂലമായ്പോകും.

27 യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ ചിതറിക്കും; യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോയാക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ ചുരുക്കംപേരായി ശേഷിക്കും.

28 കാണ്മാനും കേള്‍പ്പാനും ഭക്ഷിപ്പാനും മണക്കുവാനും പ്രാപ്തിയില്ലാത്തവയായി മരവും കല്ലുംകൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യരുടെ കൈപ്പണിയായ ദേവന്മാരെ നിങ്ങള്‍ അവിടെ സേവിക്കും.

29 എങ്കിലും അവിടെ വെച്ചു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ നീ തിരകയും പൂര്‍ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടും പൂര്‍ണ്ണമനസ്സോടുംകൂടെ അന്വേഷിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്‍ അവനെ കണ്ടെത്തും.

30 നീ ക്ളേശത്തിലാകയും ഇവ ഒക്കെയും നിന്റെ മേല്‍ വരികയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോള്‍ നീ ഭാവികാലത്തു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു അവന്റെ വാക്കു അനുസരിക്കും.

31 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ കരുണയുള്ള ദൈവമല്ലോ; അവന്‍ നിന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയില്ല, നശിപ്പിക്കയില്ല, നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യംചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള തന്റെ നിയമം മറക്കയുമില്ല.

32 ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെ ഭൂമിയില്‍ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച നാള്‍മുതല്‍ നിനക്കു മുമ്പുണ്ടായ പൂര്‍വ്വകാലത്തിലും ആകാശത്തിന്റെ ഒരു അറ്റം തുടങ്ങി മറ്റെ അറ്റത്തോളവും എവിടെയെങ്കിലും ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള മഹാകാര്യം നടന്നിട്ടുണ്ടോ, കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്നു നീ അന്വേഷിക്ക.

33 ഏതൊരു ജാതിയെങ്കിലും നീ കേട്ടതുപോലെ തീയുടെ നടുവില്‍ നിന്നു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേള്‍ക്കയും ജീവനോടിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

34 അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ മിസ്രയീമില്‍വെച്ചു നീ കാണ്‍കെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി ചെയ്തതു പോലെ ഒക്കെയും പരീക്ഷകള്‍, അടയാളങ്ങള്‍, അത്ഭുതങ്ങള്‍, യുദ്ധം, ബലമുള്ള കൈ, നീട്ടിയ ഭുജം, വലിയ ഭയങ്കരപ്രവൃത്തികള്‍ എന്നിവയാല്‍ ദൈവം ഒരു ജാതിയെ മറ്റൊരു ജാതിയുടെ നടുവില്‍ നിന്നു തനിക്കായി ചെന്നെടുപ്പാന്‍ ഉദ്യമിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

35 നിനക്കോ ഇതു കാണ്മാന്‍ സംഗതിവന്നു; യഹോവ തന്നേ ദൈവം, അവനല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊരുത്തനുമില്ല എന്നു നീ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

36 അവന്‍ നിനക്കു ബുദ്ധിയുപദേശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു തന്റെ ശബ്ദം നിന്നെ കേള്‍പ്പിച്ചു; ഭൂമിയില്‍ തന്റെ മഹത്തായ തീയും നിന്നെ കാണിച്ചു; നീ അവന്റെ വചനവും തീയുടെ നടുവില്‍നിന്നു കേട്ടു.

37 നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്‍ അവരുടെ സന്തതിയെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.

38 നിന്നെക്കാള്‍ വലിപ്പവും ബലവുമുള്ള ജാതികളെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളവാനും ഇന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെ നിനക്കു അവകാശമായി തരേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്നെ കൊണ്ടുപോയാക്കുവാനും തന്റെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യവും മഹാശക്തിയുംകൊണ്ടു മിസ്രയീമില്‍ നിന്നു നിന്നെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു.

39 ആകയാല്‍ മീതെ സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗത്തിലും താഴെ ഭൂമിയിലും യഹോവ തന്നേ ദൈവം, മറ്റൊരുത്തനുമില്ല എന്നു നീ ഇന്നു അറിഞ്ഞു മനസ്സില്‍ വെച്ചുകൊള്‍ക.

40 നിനക്കും നിന്റെ മക്കള്‍ക്കും നന്നായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു സദാകാലത്തേക്കും നലകുന്ന ദേശത്തു നീ ദീര്‍ഘായുസ്സോടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ഞാന്‍ ഇന്നു നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും കല്പനകളും പ്രാമണിക്ക.

41 അക്കാലത്തു മോശെ യോര്‍ദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കിഴക്കു മൂന്നു പട്ടണം വേര്‍തിരിച്ചു.

42 പൂര്‍വ്വദ്വേഷം കൂടാതെ അബദ്ധവശാല്‍ കൂട്ടുകാരനെ കൊന്നവന്‍ ആ പട്ടണങ്ങളില്‍ ഒന്നില്‍ ഔടിക്കയറി അവിടെ ചെന്നു ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

43 അങ്ങനെ മരുഭൂമിയില്‍ മലനാട്ടിലുള്ള ബേസെര്‍ രൂബേന്യര്‍ക്കും ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്ത് ഗാദ്യര്‍ക്കും ബാശാനിലെ ഗോലാന്‍ മനശ്ശെയര്‍ക്കും നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.

44 മോശെ യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കളുടെ മുമ്പില്‍ വെച്ച ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഇതു തന്നേ.

45 യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കള്‍ മിസ്രയീമില്‍നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം മോശെ യോര്‍ദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ ഹെശ്ബോനില്‍ പാര്‍ത്തിരുന്ന അമോര്‍യ്യരാജാവായ സീഹോന്റെ ദേശത്തു ബേത്ത്--പെയോരിന്നെതിരെയുള്ള താഴ്വരയില്‍വെച്ചു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞ സാക്ഷ്യങ്ങളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും ഇവ തന്നേ.

46 മോശെയും യിസ്രായേല്‍മക്കളും മിസ്രയീമില്‍നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം ആ രാജാവിനെ തോല്പിച്ചു.

47 അവന്റെ ദേശവും ബാശാന്‍ രാജാവായ ഔഗിന്റെ ദേശവുമായി

48 അര്‍ന്നോന്‍ താഴ്വരയുടെ അറ്റത്തുള്ള അരോവേര്‍മുതല്‍ ഹെര്‍മ്മോനെന്ന സീയോന്‍ പര്‍വ്വതംവരെയും

49 യോര്‍ദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കിഴക്കു പിസ്ഗയുടെ ചരിവിന്നു താഴെ അരാബയിലെ കടല്‍വരെയുള്ള താഴ്വീതി ഒക്കെയും ഇങ്ങനെ യോര്‍ദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ കിഴക്കുള്ള രണ്ടു അമോര്‍യ്യ രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെയും ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കി.

10 Especially the day ^H3117 that ^H834 thou stoodest ^H5975 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 in Horeb, ^H2722 when the LORD ^H3068 said ^H559 unto ^H413 me , Gather me the people together ^H6950 ^H853 ^H5971 , and I will make them hear ^H8085 ^H853 my words, ^H1697 that ^H834 they may learn ^H3925 to fear ^H3372 me all ^H3605 the days ^H3117 that ^H834 they ^H1992 shall live ^H2416 upon ^H5921 the earth, ^H127 and that they may teach ^H3925 their children. ^H1121

11 And ye came near ^H7126 and stood ^H5975 under ^H8478 the mountain; ^H2022 and the mountain ^H2022 burned ^H1197 with fire ^H784 unto ^H5704 the midst ^H3820 of heaven, ^H8064 with darkness, ^H6205 clouds, ^H6051 and thick darkness. ^H6205

15 Take ye therefore good heed ^H8104 ^H3966 unto yourselves; ^H5315 for ^H3588 ye saw ^H7200 no ^H3808 manner ^H3605 of similitude ^H8544 on the day ^H3117 that the LORD ^H3068 spoke ^H1696 unto ^H413 you in Horeb ^H2722 out of the midst ^H4480 ^H8432 of the fire: ^H784

16 Lest ^H6435 ye corrupt ^H7843 yourselves , and make ^H6213 you a graven image, ^H6459 the similitude ^H8544 of any ^H3605 figure, ^H5566 the likeness ^H8403 of male ^H2145 or ^H176 female, ^H5347

17 The likeness ^H8403 of any ^H3605 beast ^H929 that ^H834 is on the earth, ^H776 the likeness ^H8403 of any ^H3605 winged ^H3671 fowl ^H6833 that ^H834 flieth ^H5774 in the air, ^H8064

18 The likeness ^H8403 of any thing ^H3605 that creepeth ^H7430 on the ground, ^H127 the likeness ^H8403 of any ^H3605 fish ^H1710 that ^H834 is in the waters ^H4325 beneath ^H4480 ^H8478 the earth: ^H776

19 And lest ^H6435 thou lift up ^H5375 thine eyes ^H5869 unto heaven, ^H8064 and when thou seest ^H7200 ^H853 the sun, ^H8121 and the moon, ^H3394 and the stars, ^H3556 even all ^H3605 the host ^H6635 of heaven, ^H8064 shouldest be driven ^H5080 to worship ^H7812 them , and serve ^H5647 them, which ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 hath divided ^H2505 ^H853 unto all ^H3605 nations ^H5971 under ^H8478 the whole ^H3605 heaven. ^H8064

20 But the LORD ^H3068 hath taken ^H3947 you , and brought you forth ^H3318 ^H853 out of the iron ^H1270 furnace ^H4480 ^H3564 , even out of Egypt ^H4480 ^H4714 , to be ^H1961 unto him a people ^H5971 of inheritance, ^H5159 as ye are this ^H2088 day. ^H3117

21 Furthermore the LORD ^H3068 was angry ^H599 with me for your sakes ^H5921 ^H1697 , and swore ^H7650 that I should not ^H1115 go over ^H5674 ^H853 Jordan, ^H3383 and that I should not ^H1115 go in ^H935 unto ^H413 that good ^H2896 land, ^H776 which ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 giveth ^H5414 thee for an inheritance: ^H5159

22 But ^H3588 I ^H595 must die ^H4191 in this ^H2063 land, ^H776 I must not ^H369 go over ^H5674 ^H853 Jordan: ^H3383 but ye ^H859 shall go over, ^H5674 and possess ^H3423 ^H853 that ^H2063 good ^H2896 land. ^H776

23 Take heed ^H8104 unto yourselves, lest ^H6435 ye forget ^H7911 ^H853 the covenant ^H1285 of the LORD ^H3068 your God, ^H430 which ^H834 he made ^H3772 with ^H5973 you , and make ^H6213 you a graven image, ^H6459 or the likeness ^H8544 of any ^H3605 thing , which ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 hath forbidden ^H6680 thee.

24 For ^H3588 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 is a consuming ^H398 fire, ^H784 even a jealous ^H7067 God. ^H410

25 When ^H3588 thou shalt beget ^H3205 children, ^H1121 and children's ^H1121 children, ^H1121 and ye shall have remained long ^H3462 in the land, ^H776 and shall corrupt ^H7843 yourselves , and make ^H6213 a graven image, ^H6459 or the likeness ^H8544 of any ^H3605 thing , and shall do ^H6213 evil ^H7451 in the sight ^H5869 of the LORD ^H3068 thy God, ^H430 to provoke him to anger: ^H3707

26 I call ^H5749 ^H853 heaven ^H8064 and earth ^H776 to witness ^H5749 against you this day, ^H3117 that ^H3588 ye shall soon ^H4118 utterly perish ^H6 ^H6 from off ^H4480 ^H5921 the land ^H776 whereunto ^H834 ^H8033 ye ^H859 go over ^H5674 ^H853 Jordan ^H3383 to possess ^H3423 it ; ye shall not ^H3808 prolong ^H748 your days ^H3117 upon ^H5921 it, but ^H3588 shall utterly be destroyed ^H8045 ^H8045 .

27 And the LORD ^H3068 shall scatter ^H6327 you among the nations, ^H5971 and ye shall be left ^H7604 few ^H4962 in number ^H4557 among the heathen, ^H1471 whither ^H834 ^H8033 the LORD ^H3068 shall lead ^H5090 you.

28 And there ^H8033 ye shall serve ^H5647 gods, ^H430 the work ^H4639 of men's ^H120 hands, ^H3027 wood ^H6086 and stone, ^H68 which ^H834 neither ^H3808 see, ^H7200 nor ^H3808 hear, ^H8085 nor ^H3808 eat, ^H398 nor ^H3808 smell. ^H7306

29 But if from thence ^H4480 ^H8033 thou shalt seek ^H1245 ^H853 the LORD ^H3068 thy God, ^H430 thou shalt find ^H4672 him , if ^H3588 thou seek ^H1875 him with all ^H3605 thy heart ^H3824 and with all ^H3605 thy soul. ^H5315

30 When thou art in tribulation, ^H6862 and all ^H3605 these ^H428 things ^H1697 are come ^H4672 upon thee, even in the latter ^H319 days, ^H3117 if thou turn ^H7725 to ^H5704 the LORD ^H3068 thy God, ^H430 and shalt be obedient ^H8085 unto his voice; ^H6963

31 ( For ^H3588 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 is a merciful ^H7349 God;) ^H410 he will not ^H3808 forsake ^H7503 thee, neither ^H3808 destroy ^H7843 thee, nor ^H3808 forget ^H7911 ^H853 the covenant ^H1285 of thy fathers ^H1 which ^H834 he swore ^H7650 unto them.

32 For ^H3588 ask ^H7592 now ^H4994 of the days ^H3117 that are past, ^H7223 which ^H834 were ^H1961 before ^H6440 thee, since ^H4480 the day ^H3117 that ^H834 God ^H430 created ^H1254 man ^H120 upon ^H5921 the earth, ^H776 and ask from the one side ^H4480 ^H7097 of heaven ^H8064 unto ^H5704 the other ^H7097 ^H8064 , whether there hath been ^H1961 any such thing as this ^H2088 great ^H1419 thing ^H1697 is , or ^H176 hath been heard ^H8085 like it ^H3644 ?

33 Did ever people ^H5971 hear ^H8085 the voice ^H6963 of God ^H430 speaking ^H1696 out of the midst ^H4480 ^H8432 of the fire, ^H784 as ^H834 thou ^H859 hast heard, ^H8085 and live ^H2421 ?

34 Or ^H176 hath God ^H430 attempted ^H5254 to go ^H935 and take ^H3947 him a nation ^H1471 from the midst ^H4480 ^H7130 of another nation, ^H1471 by temptations, ^H4531 by signs, ^H226 and by wonders, ^H4159 and by war, ^H4421 and by a mighty ^H2389 hand, ^H3027 and by a stretched out ^H5186 arm, ^H2220 and by great ^H1419 terrors, ^H4172 according to all ^H3605 that ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430 did ^H6213 for you in Egypt ^H4714 before your eyes ^H5869 ?

35 Unto thee ^H859 it was showed, ^H7200 that thou mightest know ^H3045 that ^H3588 the LORD ^H3068 he ^H1931 is God; ^H430 there is none ^H369 else ^H5750 beside ^H4480 ^H905 him.

36 Out of ^H4480 heaven ^H8064 he made thee to hear ^H8085 ^H853 his voice, ^H6963 that he might instruct ^H3256 thee : and upon ^H5921 earth ^H776 he showed ^H7200 thee ^H853 his great ^H1419 fire; ^H784 and thou heardest ^H8085 his words ^H1697 out of the midst ^H4480 ^H8432 of the fire. ^H784

37 And because ^H8478 ^H3588 he loved ^H157 ^H853 thy fathers, ^H1 therefore he chose ^H977 their seed ^H2233 after ^H310 them , and brought thee out ^H3318 in his sight ^H6440 with his mighty ^H1419 power ^H3581 out of Egypt ^H4480 ^H4714 ;

38 To drive out ^H3423 nations ^H1471 from before ^H4480 ^H6440 thee greater ^H1419 and mightier ^H6099 than ^H4480 thou art , to bring thee in, ^H935 to give ^H5414 thee ^H853 their land ^H776 for an inheritance, ^H5159 as it is this ^H2088 day. ^H3117

39 Know ^H3045 therefore this day, ^H3117 and consider ^H7725 it in ^H413 thine heart, ^H3824 that ^H3588 the LORD ^H3068 he ^H1931 is God ^H430 in heaven ^H8064 above ^H4480 ^H4605 , and upon ^H5921 the earth ^H776 beneath ^H4480 ^H8478 : there is none ^H369 else. ^H5750

40 Thou shalt keep ^H8104 therefore ^H853 his statutes, ^H2706 and his commandments, ^H4687 which ^H834 I ^H595 command ^H6680 thee this day, ^H3117 that ^H834 it may go well ^H3190 with thee , and with thy children ^H1121 after ^H310 thee , and that ^H4616 thou mayest prolong ^H748 thy days ^H3117 upon ^H5921 the earth, ^H127 which ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 thy God ^H430 giveth ^H5414 thee, forever ^H3605 ^H3117 .

41 Then ^H227 Moses ^H4872 severed ^H914 three ^H7969 cities ^H5892 on this side ^H5676 Jordan ^H3383 toward the sunrising ^H4217 ^H8121 ;

42 That the slayer ^H7523 might flee ^H5127 thither, ^H8033 which ^H834 should kill his neighbor ^H7453 unawares ^H1097 , ^H1847 and hated ^H8130 him not ^H3808 in times past ^H4480 H8543; ^H8032 and that fleeing ^H5127 unto ^H413 one ^H259 of ^H4480 these ^H411 cities ^H5892 he might live: ^H2425

43 Namely , ^H853 Bezer ^H1221 in the wilderness, ^H4057 in the plain ^H4334 country, ^H776 of the Reubenites; ^H7206 and Ramoth ^H7216 in Gilead, ^H1568 of the Gadites; ^H1425 and Golan ^H1474 in Bashan, ^H1316 of the Manassites. ^H4520

44 And this ^H2063 is the law ^H8451 which ^H834 Moses ^H4872 set ^H7760 before ^H6440 the children ^H1121 of Israel: ^H3478

45 These ^H428 are the testimonies, ^H5713 and the statutes, ^H2706 and the judgments, ^H4941 which ^H834 Moses ^H4872 spoke ^H1696 unto ^H413 the children ^H1121 of Israel, ^H3478 after they came forth ^H3318 out of Egypt ^H4480 ^H4714 ,

46 On this side ^H5676 Jordan, ^H3383 in the valley ^H1516 over against ^H4136 Beth- ^H1047 peor , in the land ^H776 of Sihon ^H5511 king ^H4428 of the Amorites, ^H567 who ^H834 dwelt ^H3427 at Heshbon, ^H2809 whom ^H834 Moses ^H4872 and the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 smote, ^H5221 after they were come forth ^H3318 out of Egypt ^H4480 ^H4714 :

47 And they possessed ^H3423 ^H853 his land, ^H776 and the land ^H776 of Og ^H5747 king ^H4428 of Bashan, ^H1316 two ^H8147 kings ^H4428 of the Amorites, ^H567 which ^H834 were on this side ^H5676 Jordan ^H3383 toward the sunrising ^H4217 ^H8121 ;

48 From Aroer ^H4480 ^H6177 , which ^H834 is by ^H5921 the bank ^H8193 of the river ^H5158 Arnon, ^H769 even unto ^H5704 mount ^H2022 Zion, ^H7865 which ^H1931 is Hermon, ^H2768

49 And all ^H3605 the plain ^H6160 on this side ^H5676 Jordan ^H3383 eastward, ^H4217 even unto ^H5704 the sea ^H3220 of the plain, ^H6160 under ^H8478 the springs ^H794 of Pisgah. ^H6449
