2 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഒരമ്മയുടെ മക്കളായ രണ്ടു സ്ത്രീകള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

3 അവര്‍ മിസ്രയീമില്‍വെച്ചു പരസംഗംചെയ്തു; യൌവനത്തില്‍ തന്നേ അവര്‍ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; അവിടെ അവരുടെ മുല പിടിച്ചു അവരുടെ കന്യാകുചാഗ്രം ഞെക്കി.

4 അവരില്‍ മൂത്തവള്‍ക്കു ഒഹൊലാ എന്നും ഇളയവര്‍ക്കും ഒഹൊലീബാ എന്നു പേരായിരുന്നു; അവര്‍ എനിക്കുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ പേരോ ഒഹൊലാ എന്നതു ശമര്‍യ്യയും ഒഹൊലീബാ എന്നതു യെരൂശലേമും ആകുന്നു.

5 എന്നാല്‍ ഒഹൊലാ എന്നെ വിട്ടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു;

6 അവള്‍ ധൂമ്രവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഔടിക്കുന്നവരുമായ സമീപസ്ഥരായ അശ്ശൂര്‍യ്യജാരന്മാരെ മോഹിച്ചു.

7 അശ്ശൂര്‍യ്യശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരായവരോടു ഒക്കെയും തന്റെ വേശ്യാവിദ്യകളെ ചെലവഴിച്ചു, താന്‍ മോഹിച്ചുപോന്ന ഏവരുടെയും സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടും തന്നെത്താന്‍ മലിനയാക്കി.

8 മിസ്രയീമില്‍നിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന തന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയും അവള്‍ വിട്ടില്ല; അവര്‍ അവളുടെ യൌവനത്തില്‍ അവളോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു, അവളുടെ കന്യാകുചാഗ്രം ഞെക്കി തങ്ങളുടെ പരസംഗം അവളുടെമേല്‍ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു.

9 അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന്‍ അവളെ അവളുടെ ജാരന്മാരുടെ കയ്യില്‍, അവള്‍ മോഹിച്ചിരുന്ന അശ്ശൂര്‍യ്യരുടെ കയ്യില്‍തന്നേ, ഏല്പിച്ചു.

10 അവര്‍ അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കി, അവളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പിടിക്കയും അവളെ വാള്‍കൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു; അവര്‍ അവളുടെമേല്‍ വിധി നടത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു അവള്‍ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ ഒരു നിന്ദാപാത്രമായിത്തീര്‍ന്നു.

11 എന്നാല്‍ അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയായ ഒഹൊലീബാ ഇതു കണ്ടിട്ടും തന്റെ കാമവികാരത്തില്‍ അവളെക്കാളും തന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയില്‍ സഹോദരിയുടെ വേശ്യവൃത്തിയെക്കാളും അധികം വഷളത്വം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു.

12 മോടിയായി ഉടുത്തുചമഞ്ഞ ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഔടിക്കുന്നവരും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളുമായ സമീപസ്ഥരായ അശ്ശൂര്‍യ്യരെ മോഹിച്ചു,

13 അവളും തന്നെത്താന്‍ മലിനയാക്കി എന്നു ഞാന്‍ കണ്ടു; ഇരുവരും ഒരു വഴിയില്‍ തന്നേ നടന്നു.

14 അവള്‍ പിന്നെയും പരസംഗം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ചായില്യംകൊണ്ടു എഴുതിയ കല്ദയരുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളെ,

15 കല്ദയദേശം ജന്മഭൂമിയായുള്ള ബാബേല്‍ക്കാരുടെ രൂപത്തില്‍ അരെക്കു കച്ചകെട്ടി തലയില്‍ തലപ്പാവു ചുറ്റി കാഴ്ചെക്കു ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളെ തന്നേ ചുവരിന്മേല്‍ വരെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു അവള്‍ കണ്ടു.

16 കണ്ട ഉടനെ അവള്‍ അവരെ മോഹിച്ചു, കല്ദയദേശത്തിലേക്കു അവരുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു.

17 അങ്ങനെ ബാബേല്‍ക്കാര്‍ പ്രേമശയനത്തിന്നായി അവളുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ വന്നു പരസംഗംകൊണ്ടു അവളെ മലിനയാക്കി; അവള്‍ അവരാല്‍ മലിനയായ്തീര്‍ന്നു; പിന്നെ അവള്‍ക്കു അവരോടു വെറുപ്പുതോന്നി.

18 ഇങ്ങനെ അവള്‍ തന്റെ പരസംഗം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി തന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കിയപ്പോള്‍ എനിക്കു അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയോടു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നിയതുപോലെ അവളോടും വെറുപ്പു തോന്നി.

19 എന്നിട്ടും അവള്‍ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു പരസംഗം ചെയ്ത തന്റെ യൌവനകാലം ഔര്‍ത്തു പരസംഗം വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു.

20 കഴുതകളുടെ ലിംഗംപോലെ ലിംഗവും കുതിരകളുടെ ബീജസ്രവണംപോലെ ബീജസ്രവണവും ഉള്ള ജാരന്മാരെ അവള്‍ മോഹിച്ചു.

21 ഇങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ യൌവനസ്തനങ്ങള്‍ നിമിത്തം മിസ്രയീമ്യര്‍ നിന്റെ കുജാഗ്രങ്ങളെ ഞെക്കിയതായ നിന്റെ യൌവനത്തിലെ ദുഷ്കര്‍മ്മം നീ തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കി.

22 അതുകൊണ്ടു ഒഹൊലീബയേ, യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുബാബേല്‍ക്കാര്‍, കല്ദയര്‍ ഒക്കെയും, പെക്കോദ്യര്‍, ശോവ്യര്‍,

23 കോവ്യര്‍, അശ്ശൂര്‍യ്യര്‍ ഒക്കെയും എന്നിങ്ങനെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളും ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും വിശ്രുതന്മാരും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഔടിക്കുന്നവരുമായി, നിനക്കു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നിയിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ജാരന്മാരെ ഞാന്‍ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി ഉണര്‍ത്തി ചുറ്റും നിന്റെ നേരെ വരുത്തും.

24 അവര്‍ അനവധി രഥങ്ങളും വണ്ടികളും ഒരു ജനസമൂഹവുമായി നിന്റെ നേരെ വരും; അവര്‍ പരിചയും പലകയും പിടിച്ചു തലക്കോരിക ഇട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ വന്നു വളയും; ഞാന്‍ ന്യായവിധി അവര്‍ക്കും ഭരമേല്പിക്കും; അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അനുസാരമായി നിന്നെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും.

25 ഞാന്‍ എന്റെ തീക്ഷണത നിന്റെ നേരെ പ്രയോഗിക്കും; അവര്‍ ക്രോധത്തോടെ നിന്നോടു പെരുമാറും; അവര്‍ നിന്റെ മൂക്കും ചെവിയും ചെത്തിക്കളയും; നിനക്കു ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവര്‍ വാള്‍കൊണ്ടു വീഴും; അവര്‍ നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകും; നിനക്കു ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവര്‍ തീക്കിരയാകും.

26 അവര്‍ നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രം ഉരിഞ്ഞു ആഭരണങ്ങളെ എടുത്തുകളയും.

27 ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ ദുര്‍മ്മര്യാദയും, മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയും നിര്‍ത്തലാക്കും; നീ ഇനി അവരെ തലപൊക്കി നോക്കുകയില്ല, മിസ്രയീമിനെ ഔര്‍ക്കുംകയുമില്ല.

28 യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ നീ പകെക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യില്‍, നിനക്കു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യില്‍ തന്നേ ഏല്പിക്കും.

29 അവര്‍ പകയോടെ നിന്നോടു പെരുമാറി നിന്റെ സമ്പാദ്യം ഒക്കെയും എടുത്തു, നിന്നെ നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആക്കിവിടും; അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയുടെ നഗ്നതയും നിന്റെ ദുര്‍മ്മര്യാദയും പരസംഗങ്ങളും വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും.

30 നീ ജാതികളോടു ചേന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാല്‍ നിന്നെത്തന്നേ മലിനയാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടും ഇതു നിനക്കു ഭവിക്കും.

31 നീ സഹോദരിയുടെ വഴിയില്‍ നടന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന്‍ അവളുടെ പാനപാത്രം നിന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ തരും.

32 യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനീ സഹോദരിയുടെ കുഴിയും വട്ടവും ഉള്ള പാനപാത്രത്തില്‍നിന്നു കുടിച്ചു നിന്ദെക്കും പരിഹാസത്തിന്നും വിഷയമായ്തീരും; അതില്‍ വളരെ കൊള്ളുമല്ലോ.

33 സ്തംഭനവും ശൂന്യതയുമുള്ള പാനപാത്രമായി നിന്റെ സഹോദരി ശമര്‍യ്യരുടെ പാനപാത്രമായ ലഹരിയും ദുഃഖവുംകൊണ്ടു നീ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

34 നീ അതു കുടിച്ചു വറ്റിച്ചു ഉടെച്ചു കഷണങ്ങളെ നക്കി നിന്റെ മുലകളെ കീറിക്കളയും; ഞാന്‍ അതു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

35 ആകയാല്‍ യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനീ എന്നെ മറന്നു എന്നെ നിന്റെ പിറകില്‍ എറിഞ്ഞുകളകകൊണ്ടു നീ നിന്റെ ദുര്‍മ്മര്യാദയും പരസംഗവും വഹിക്ക.

36 പിന്നെയും യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുമനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ ഒഹൊലയെയും ഒഹൊലീബയെയും ന്യായംവിധിക്കുമോ? എന്നാല്‍ അവരുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളെ അവരോടു അറിയിക്ക.

37 അവര്‍ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്തു, അവരുടെ കയ്യില്‍ രക്തം ഉണ്ടു; തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു അവര്‍ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്തു; അവര്‍ എനിക്കു പ്രസവിച്ച മക്കളെ അവേക്കു ഭോജനമായി അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിച്ചു.

38 ഒന്നുകൂടെ അവര്‍ എന്നോടു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുഅന്നാളില്‍ തന്നേ അവര്‍ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ തീണ്ടിച്ചു എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി.

39 അവര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള്‍ക്കു വേണ്ടി കൊന്ന ശേഷം അന്നു തന്നേ അവര്‍ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിലേക്കു വന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെയത്രേ അവര്‍ എന്റെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്‍ ചെയ്തതു.

40 ഇതുകൂടാതെ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു വന്ന പുരുഷന്മാര്‍ക്കും അവര്‍ ആളയച്ചു; ഒരു ദൂതന്‍ അവരുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ ചെന്ന ഉടനെ അവര്‍ വന്നു; അവര്‍ക്കും വേണ്ടി നീ കുളിച്ചു, കണ്ണില്‍ മഷി എഴുതി, ആഭരണം അണിഞ്ഞു,

41 ഭംഗിയുള്ളോരു കട്ടിലിന്മേല്‍ ഇരുന്നു, അതിന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ ഒരു മേശ ഒരുക്കി, അതിന്മേല്‍ എന്റെ കുന്തുരുക്കവും എണ്ണയും വെച്ചു;

42 നിര്‍ഭയമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ ഘോഷം അവളോടു കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ജനസമൂഹത്തിലെ പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ അവര്‍ ആളയച്ചു, മരുഭൂമിയില്‍നിന്നു കുടിയന്മാരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവര്‍ അവരുടെ കൈകൂ വളയിടുകയും തലയില്‍ ഭംഗിയുള്ള കിരീടങ്ങള്‍ വെക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

43 അപ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ കിഴവിയായവള്‍ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യും; ഇപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ അവളോടും അവള്‍ അവരോടും പരസംഗം ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

44 അങ്ങനെ വേശ്യയുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ ചെല്ലുന്നതുപോലെ അവര്‍ അവളുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ ചെന്നു; അതെ അവര്‍ കാമുകികളായ ഒഹൊലയുടെ അടുക്കലും ഒഹൊലീബയുടെ അടുക്കലും ചെന്നു.

45 എന്നാല്‍ നീതിമാന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാര്‍ വ്യഭിചാരിണികള്‍ക്കു തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരവും രക്തപാതകികള്‍ക്കു തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരവും അവരെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും; അവര്‍ വ്യഭിചാരിണികളല്ലോ; അവരുകട കയ്യില്‍ രക്തവും ഉണ്ടു.

46 യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന്‍ അവരുടെ നേരെ ഒരു സഭ കൂട്ടി അവരെ പരിഭ്രമത്തിന്നും കവര്‍ച്ചെക്കും ഏല്പിക്കും.

47 ആ സഭ അവരെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു വാള്‍കൊണ്ടു വെട്ടിക്കളയും; അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും അവര്‍ കൊന്നു അവരുടെ വീടുകളെ തീവെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും.

48 ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുര്‍മ്മര്യാദപോലെ ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ സകലസ്ത്രീകളുടെ ഒരു പാഠം പഠിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന്‍ ദുര്‍മ്മര്യാദ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും.

49 അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുര്‍മ്മര്യാദെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ ചുമക്കേണ്ടിവരും; ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു എന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍ അറിയും.

3 And they committed whoredoms ^H2181 in Egypt; ^H4714 they committed whoredoms ^H2181 in their youth: ^H5271 there ^H8033 were their breasts ^H7699 pressed, ^H4600 and there ^H8033 they bruised ^H6213 the teats ^H1717 of their virginity. ^H1331

4 And the names ^H8034 of them were Aholah ^H170 the elder, ^H1419 and Aholibah ^H172 her sister: ^H269 and they were ^H1961 mine , and they bore ^H3205 sons ^H1121 and daughters. ^H1323 Thus were their names; ^H8034 Samaria ^H8111 is Aholah, ^H170 and Jerusalem ^H3389 Aholibah. ^H172

5 And Aholah ^H170 played the harlot ^H2181 when she was ^H8478 mine ; and she doted ^H5689 on ^H5921 her lovers, ^H157 on ^H413 the Assyrians ^H804 her neighbors, ^H7138

6 Which were clothed ^H3847 with blue, ^H8504 captains ^H6346 and rulers, ^H5461 all ^H3605 of them desirable ^H2531 young men, ^H970 horsemen ^H6571 riding upon ^H7392 horses. ^H5483

7 Thus she committed ^H5414 her whoredoms ^H8457 with ^H5921 them , with all ^H3605 them that were the chosen ^H4005 men ^H1121 of Assyria, ^H804 and with all ^H3605 on whom ^H834 she doted: ^H5689 with all ^H3605 their idols ^H1544 she defiled herself. ^H2930

11 And when her sister ^H269 Aholibah ^H172 saw ^H7200 this , she was more corrupt ^H7843 in her inordinate love ^H5691 than ^H4480 she , and in her whoredoms ^H8457 more than her sister ^H269 in her whoredoms ^H4480 ^H2183 .

12 She doted ^H5689 upon ^H413 the Assyrians ^H1121 ^H804 her neighbors, ^H7138 captains ^H6346 and rulers ^H5461 clothed ^H3847 most gorgeously, ^H4358 horsemen ^H6571 riding upon ^H7392 horses, ^H5483 all ^H3605 of them desirable ^H2531 young men. ^H970

13 Then I saw ^H7200 that ^H3588 she was defiled, ^H2930 that they took both ^H8147 one ^H259 way, ^H1870

45 And the righteous ^H6662 men, ^H376 they ^H1992 shall judge ^H8199 them after the manner ^H4941 of adulteresses, ^H5003 and after the manner of women ^H4941 that shed ^H8210 blood; ^H1818 because ^H3588 they ^H2007 are adulteresses, ^H5003 and blood ^H1818 is in their hands. ^H3027

46 For ^H3588 thus ^H3541 saith ^H559 the Lord ^H136 GOD; ^H3069 I will bring up ^H5927 a company ^H6951 upon ^H5921 them , and will give ^H5414 them to be removed ^H2189 and spoiled. ^H957

47 And the company ^H6951 shall stone ^H7275 ^H5921 them with stones, ^H68 and dispatch ^H1254 them with their swords; ^H2719 they shall slay ^H2026 their sons ^H1121 and their daughters, ^H1323 and burn up ^H8313 their houses ^H1004 with fire. ^H784

48 Thus will I cause lewdness ^H2154 to cease ^H7673 out of ^H4480 the land, ^H776 that all ^H3605 women ^H802 may be taught ^H3256 not ^H3808 to do ^H6213 after your lewdness. ^H2154

49 And they shall recompense ^H5414 your lewdness ^H2154 upon ^H5921 you , and ye shall bear ^H5375 the sins ^H2399 of your idols: ^H1544 and ye shall know ^H3045 that ^H3588 I ^H589 am the Lord ^H136 GOD. ^H3069
